Excellent customer service, and reasonable labor prices! A couple of times I brought my car in for minor issues and the manager went ahead and fixed everything without even charging me. Trustworthy and honorable to their customers. Cant recommend this place enough!

I went to this mavis in East Meadow to get my inspection done. I spoke to Jose and he told me Id have it done right away. I informed him that my drivers side door handle was loose and be careful when opening it. Soon after I got a phone call. It was Jose and he was so upset cause the door handle came off in his hand. He told me he would get it fixed and I would have the car back the same day. He went to some extreme and had a hard time getting the part. Believe it or not the car was all fixed and I and got the car back that day. These guys are awesome and cant thank them enough. I will be back whenever i have a problem. Funny how they see a woman come in alone and it’s like dollar signs. My wife came in here for a simple oil change and tire rotation. All of a sudden she gets a phone call telling her she needs other things done. She might have needed who knows but once they heard my voice is like ok we can do the brakes but you don’t have to get this. Oh now that you hear a mans voice she doesn’t need the extras. Worst part about it is they didn’t even rotate her tires so as I’m coming in to pay all of a sudden is oh sorry we didn’t rotate the tires but yet you wanted to find other things that we didn’t go in for

The guys here really saved me a great deal of stress when I had an issue with my battery. While they didn’t have my specific battery in stock, they told me that if I bought the battery and brought it to them that they’d charge me only $20 for installation. I got my battery from autozone and took it over to the guys at Mavis and a younger guy in the shop took care of it right away. And an older gentleman, who I assume is the owner/manager told me he wouldn’t charge me the installation but to just give it to the guy who replaced the battery. Great service, great shop! I’ll definitely be coming back for service in the future.

Store Manager always greet his customers, listen to their problems with the vehicle and then explain the issue. This is after he goes and check the vehicle himself. If you need work done they standby the work and I have not had to return for a issue. I have been lazy but after walking in and getting treated so kindly I had to let it be known. I Give 10 stars and thank whoever hired your management.

Wayne who is one of his top mechanics took care of me today and got me in and out and no time. My car is actually cleaner the one I brought it in. Reminds me of a repair shop in the 1950s the way they take care of you. Highly recommended for any Automotive situation.

I originally wanted to order a set of 4 for a continental DWS 06. But they told me that, that model was discontinued and that they wouldn’t want to sell me a tire that wouldn’t be under warranty. They then proceeded to let me know that the new version is called DWS 06 Plus and that they would order it for me and it will be here in no time. Because of the snow I didn’t get to come in on my original schedule but they were very understanding and rescheduled my appointment. I then asked if I can just drop off my car the night prior and if I can pick up my car after they had install the new tires for my car. Jose was very helpful and the manager Phil was super friendly. I spoke with them over the phone a lot and that is how you handle a business with great communication. I really appreciate the staff and how my tires turned out. Thank you.

We just had an oil change done this past Friday (5/14/21). There is now a pool of oil on my driveway and the car is sitting in the Mavis in Long Beach with an engine issue. The low oil pressure caused an issue with the oil pump which Long Beach is incapable of servicing. We are expected to bring it back to East Meadow for them to service the vehicle. How it gets there seems to be my problem with Mavis taking no responsibility. Stay away from this Mavis. If they can not change your oil do not expect a tire service or any other service to be any better.

I am a loyal customer for the last 20+ years. Had a recent incident when installing front struts the tech accidently cross-threaded the wheel hub nut which damaged the bearing and axle. Manager Phil, true to his word, replaced all of the affected parts at no cost. That is what I call great customer service! No one is perfect in this world and stuff happens. However they responded positively and rose to the occasion by making the customer whole and happy. A hallmark of professionalism and the reason why I keep returning to this location.

Long story short, I literally drove my car 11 miles with a deflated run flat to this shop due to the outstanding customer service from Phil & Jose.

I came in on a whim and took a chance without an appointment. I thought I would be there for an hour or more but the job took only 35 minutes. The price was as advertised in the special . No hassle or fuss. Good business.

I got an inspection here last week and the service was great! I was in and out in no time at all. I will definitely be back. All the staff were friendly and efficient.

After spending over 2 hours at the Mavis down the street for a tire patch/plug, I called this Mavis tire shop and Phil told me to come in and took care of my tire in 15 minutes(they were busy). Highly recommend to come to this location if you are in East Meadow. Hope the other shop closes down for their lack of customer service and failure to at least guide me to another location to fix a simple issue.

I went here needing a oil change and my tire pressure was low so wasn’t sure if I had a flat, I spoke with Phil and he was really personable and honest and he said I didn’t need new tires and because it was cold the pressure was low he filled my tires and also gave me a coupon for the oil change would definitely come back!

I had to get my truck inspected and dealt with Phil over the phone and in-person. He was friendly and accommodating. My inspection failed, but he clarified what the issues were and how to resolve them in order to pass inspection. He also offered me the preferred user benefit so I could spread the cost out. I would definitely do business with Phil and Mavis again based on this experience.
