Very friendly and well informed staff! Went in to buy a pair of Ray band glasses. They have a vide variety of style and brands to choose from. Felt like it was a quick and easy experience especially since this is my very first pair of glasses. Would 100% recommend!

Extremely poor customer service i had to guide through the representative through our entire transaction he clearly had no idea what he was doing. The store had the lenses I needed and said they would be ready in an hour. So I tried to kill time I got a haircut ate lunch went grocery shopping then I just rode around in circles waiting for my glasses to get made. I go there 3 hours later they said my glasses still werent ready they said theyd be ready soon they didnt offer to let me wait there for them which at that point Id have been willing to do so I went home. Then 30 minutes later they called and said they were done ti wont be able to get back out there for at least another week this place wasted my whole Saturday. This was the fourth pair of glasses i bought at lenscrafters and It will be my last very disappointed.

I came in the store last week to browse for some new reading glasses. As soon as I walked in I noticed how clean everything was and I was welcomed by the friendly staff! I wasn’t sure which style I wanted but my associate, Amanda Gardell, was super patient with me and showed me a bunch of different styles. She was very knowledgeable of the products and helped me gain a better focus of what I wanted. I spent quite a bit of time browsing around ultimately finding a pair I loved. I would recommend this location to family and friends anytime! The entire staff exuded great customer service!

I walked in to get a pair of glasses for my grandmother and myself. The store manager Amanda was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt so comfortable speaking with her and telling her exactly what I was looking for. She was very patient and showed me my options while helping me choose the perfect eyeglasses for us. I purchased two new pairs of glasses - regular lenses and sunglasses. Rachel did a great job providing service and information about frames. She helped me to obtain my current prescription information and to clarify my health care plan coverage. She knows LensCrafters products and clearly explained features and costs. It was great working with her. She is a credit to your organization.

Assistant Manager Rochelle was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the frames and lenses and helped me greatly by checking if my insurance was accepted. I was not planning on purchasing new eye glasses today but with the expertise and professionalism of Rochelle I was convinced to buy now. She is a great asset to this store.

I was in desperate need of glasses my friends always told me I was too blind at night to drive so I finally did something about it. The store had many options and was very clean. Absolutely amazing experience .. I was a little cautious by reading the reviews and when I say the experience was amazing the experience was amazing. The Store manager Amanda and Optician Rachel are such a great asset to this location . When they asked me if I was ready for a 5 star experience which I thought they were kidding but the way they walked me through everything was so eye opening. I wear glasses but I wasnt aware of all the knowledge ive been missing over the years. What really put the icing on the cake is when the male doctor passed by and joined into our conversation and himself even educating me in many ways. Great partnership .. July 2020:At first, the store looked like it had closed up (most of the windows were papered up); however, I soon realized there were people inside.I called in and was told I could just walk in to purchase glasses (I already had a prescription).They explained that everyone who enters the store is required to wear a mask (nothing new, post-COVID-19) 👍 and also given a tray, where anything thats touched and/or tried on must be placed into and, at the end, given to a store attendant, who goes on to disinfect everything before it can be put back on display 👍As soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted at the front desk by employees with masks on and was promptly given a tray.It was towards the end of the day, so there werent too many people inside. More people came in as I was inside, but social distance was still adhered to, for the most part (a couple of customers got a bit close as they walked past and/or up to the display I was standing in front of, but there was still enough room in the store to back away or walk away from them, thankfully).At one point, I got distracted and put a frame Id tried on in the display case, instead of into my own tray; however, I quickly realized the mistake, placed the frame in my tray, and alerted a member of the staff. I was reassured that every night ALL the glasses are removed from the displays (wow!) and the display itself, along with everything else in the store, is also sanitized.There are Please, stand here stickers on the floor (not crowded/needed) and 6-ft distance reminders on mirrors (those needed to be bigger). Also, there are plenty of stations to sit at so, once youve selected a frame and are ready to order lenses, you dont have to sit too close to other customers.There were only two attendants in the store section, including the optician (the optometrists section is off to the side, with its own dedicated staff) so it was a bit hard to ask questions before sitting down with someone; however, they were still very helpful.When it came time to do measurements, the optician was careful to disinfect the measurement device before placing it on the frame Id selected and having me put them on.She also let me know that there was a package deal that included a better pair of lenses that made the purchase *less* expensive than Id initially been quoted (about $150 less expensive!!!), which helped *a lot* -- especially since my insurance wasnt accepted at LensCrafters and, therefore, didnt cover the cost of the frame/lenses nor provide a discount/allowance (my previous insurance did, but, after a recent insurance change, Id forgotten to check the new coverage/participating providers). Even then, I still got a really good price on the frames and lenses, enough that I was able to get the additional 1-year protection that LensCrafters offers.Initially, Id contemplated waiting, looking for a place where insurance would cover the cost/provide a discount, but Ive had really good experiences with LensCrafters in the past and, especially after seeing all the precautions they take and that its not a super-crowded place, I figured that itd be worth paying a little more and have more safeguards in place than to go somewhere that, while possibly cheaper/less expensive, might be a lot more crowded and where precautions might fall by the wayside more easily. It still felt a bit nerve-wracking, at times, because theres no way around having to put the frames on ones face, close to the eyes (another point of entry for the virus/pathogens thats often overlooked); however, the precautions they detailed over the phone -- and *did* adhere to -- helped me to feel more calm.I specifically chose this LensCrafters location because they have an entrance thats accessible directly from the outside/parking lot, rather than having to venture deep inside a building/mall to get to it, which also helped calm the nerves.Overall, another good experience. Looking forward to picking up my glasses in about 2 weeks or less (depending on the lab).

We had an amazing experience with LensCrafters East Brunswick. Lisa was beyond helpful and she gave us some really great advice. She was so sweet and very patient! Highly recommend this place.

This is a real review. Went there for an exam, but the two ladies at the desk seemed a bit busy talking amongst themselves and on their phones. It was near the end of the day, so perhaps they were eager to leave. The exam itself was fine except the additional Retinal exam which they gave no indication that it was an extra/nonessential exam and was an additional cost. Okay - whatever. The actual exam with the Doctor was fine. Cut to two months later, I try to buy some contacts over the phone. The phone rings for about 5 minutes, then someone picks up and hangs up immediately. It seems the people who work here must really hate their job. I recommend going somewhere else.

I brought my son’s glasses to be repaired. The technician was so nice. They just needed a new screw, but they took a while to fix and she didn’t even charge me. I would definitely go back.

Walked in and was promptly greeted with a hello and a smile. All I needed was an adjustment for my glasses and Joe helped me. Quick and professional he gave me some insight on why my glasses may have changed shape and adjusted for me quickly. Thank you for the great service.

This LensCrafters is amazing! When I walked in Erica greeted me at the door and help me find the perfect frames! She asked questions about my lifestyle to make sure I get the lenses that will work best. She made the process simple and fun! All of the employees were following social distance guidelines that made me feel safe. I would prefer to go to this LensCrafters instead of having to go to a crowded mall location. Highly recommend! During this covid-19 pandemic, I was pleased with the safety measures that the LensCrafters employees took in ensuring that all eye wear were carefully monitored for necessary sanitizing, and face mask requirements were met. Also, during this economic down-turn because of covid-19, I really appreciated LensCrafters Great Value Package promotion. I took advantage of the promotion, and purchased a new pair of glasses. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I had an eye exam here with and have received excellent care. Easy to make appointments. Great location. Friendly and efficient staff.We have have been pleased with Dr. Jennifer Habers expertise and excellent manner of communicating with her patients. She was gentle with the exam and detailed when telling us what she was going to do. She was thorough, very knowledgeable, professional & patient. Outstanding experience.Also, we needed an adjustment on our glasses and Joe helped us. He was quick and professional. Great service.This LensCrafters has a beautiful selection of glasses too. We will continue to visit this clinic and will highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Terrible Experience at this location:I got lens and frames 6 months ago. Got warranty as well. My lens had small breaks at the corners and I went in here for a warranty lens replacement. The person I spoke to had no intention to help. First he complained saying I was keeping my glasses in my pocket and hence it had broken. Then, he checked my order in the system and mentioned the frame model number was different than the one I had. He wanted manager override(who was not available that day) to help me out. I didnt even had to get my frames replaced to begin with but for some reason in their system the model number was incorrect. After a heated argument I just left and went to another Lenscrafters location and they helped me within 10 minutes. It would have been so much easier if they had told me that they had no intention of honoring the warranty I had paid for. Would have avoided the unnecessary arguments.

Great service and selection of frames. Joe helped me find what I was looking for and answered all of my questions. We were in and out in less than 45 min.

The office was immaculate & we felt very safe & comfortable.From the start, making the appointment online was very easy. Fatima called me to confirm and she was very kind.Dr. Haber is wonderful and she had provided excellent care with a pleasant manner. She made my 11 year old son feel very comfortable. She had a professional and pleasant demeanor.When in the the office, manager Cathy was very helpful and had a great demeanor as well. Aileen sat with my son and helped him with a contact lens discussion She was patient and kind too.We had a great experience here and will highly recommend it to our friends and family. Horrible place and worst experience ever!! They don’t go or their appointments and no communication plus rude staff!

If you are a larger family, stay away if you are on a budget. They FORCE you to get the Retinal Imaging exam for $39. If you do no want it, they will NOT see you at all for eye exams. The lady said, we dont force you, because if you dont want it, you can shop somewhere else. This facility does not allow a Retinal Exam to be optional. So, I am shopping around.

Unprofessional and lack medical integrity. I called around June 1st to take the earliest appointment on June 20, with the whole pandemic situation and my old eye doctor shut down permanently I explained my situation over the phone and told her that I am a. today afterKafter long waiting the doctor decided not to see me, I asked the staff, please for three weeks I wanted this appointment and I am running out of contact lenses let me Soo the doctor to explain my situation before deciding not to see me at all, but she refused.

DO NOT use this location. The staff and doctors are VERY unprofessional.

I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE. She spoke too fast and didnt let me get a word in. I chose not to schedule the appointment and go somewhere else. I manage a dental office and the first impression is the most important. You should hire employees that dont drive your potential customers away. BAD SERVICE. NO GOOD.

Walked in here to have a simple adjustment made to my glasses being there all plastic it’s easy,just heat and bend.The lady was afraid or something she couldn’t do it and they are exactly the same as i walked in with them when she handed them back to me,and she insisted they were adjusted.I’ll have to go to my ocean county store when they reopen they know what there doing at that location.

Rachel and Madeline couldnt be more courteous and professional. I got my glasses there a year ago and brought them back to be repaired. They changed the lens out immediately. You cant ask for better than that. My wife bought hers there yesterday and they handled her progressive line lenses correctly on the first try. No other store could do that. Her line of vision is a little different but wasnt a problem for them. This is the place to go to

Once again my frameless glasses broke one me. I have an important meeting tomorrow and needed to have these repaired as quickly as possible to look my best. I went to the Watchung Lenscrafters because I was close by and thought they would be able to accommodate me but they were very passive and told me 2 weeks. I decided to make the 45 minute trek to the East Brunswick location because of how great my last experience was with Joe the optometrist. I arrived and unfortunately Joe was not in today. However without hesitation and much explanation I was immediately accommodated by Rachel and the optometrist on duty Barry. Within less than 5 minutes of me arriving, my glasses were fixed and cleaned for me. I cannot stress how fortunate I am to have these repaired. I will forever make this lenscrafters my go to; even if it is not convenient for me or out of the way. All they do is continue to give more reasons of why to come back and recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you once again Barry and Rachel.

Bought frameless Oakleys from LensCrafters in Jersey City about 2 months ago. Unexpectedly they broke while visiting my family so I stopped in to see if I could have them sent out for repair. I was greeted by Joe Duncan, who I believe is the optometrist there, he pulled up my account, found the exact same pair in stock, and completed the exchange of lenses within 5 minutes. Went from thinking I would get my old one repaired in a week, to Joe providing a brand new pair with my lenses in 5 minutes.Joe has made me a lifetime customer now and I will return here for future frames and lenses because of his professionalism and hospitality. Both the optometrist office and Lens Crafters staff are fantastic! I was greeted by both when I walked in and helped promptly for my eye exam. When I came back to pick up my contact lenses I briefly looked at glasses but wasnt sure I wanted to spend money on new glasses. The staff at Lens Crafters asked about my insurance and found I had a frame allowance. Highly recommend this location!! (I had a bad experience at the Menlo Park Mall location)

Although sometimes the service can be a little slow, I always left this place without any serious complaints. They work with you and answer all your questions. Surely, they did not try to overcharge me like the staff at the Menlo Park Mall location.

I had an eye exam for a new glasses rx and contact lenses. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Erica and Dr Hanlon, and both were kind, professional, and extremely helpful. This was a fantastic experience and I would absolutely recommend this location for your next eye exam.

Since they didnt bother to provide great service I wont bother leaving a detailed review as to how poor the service was. Simply put, I wont be returning. I did, however, receive great service at the Brunswick Square Mall location.

I would take the negative reviews on here with a grain of salt. There’s a wide selection of frames and I got my glasses in under an hour. Highly recommend this location!

I called to make an appointment. The woman on the phone was rude. When she told me the price, I asked to cancel the appointment and she hung up on me. I found that incredibly rude and in very happy I chose not to spend $300 on an exam at this place.

I spent more than 1/2 hr trying to select a frame. No one was even bothered to help even when asked. Worst customer service ive ever seen in a optical store in US. Finally I walked out.

The receptionist was rude, she practically rushed me off the phone.
