Low gas prices which give it 5 stars. The employees do a great job. Had me sign up for a reward program where I saved on some items. Conveniently located next to a car wash- Lightning McClean.

This gas station undoubtedly has the best price in Durham, so Ill give 3 stars for that. I usually have a great experience here, and the employees usually go out of their way to be helpful and nice, but not today! I had low tire pressure and for the first time in my life I was told that if you fill your tank up you dont get free air. I usually get my tires filled at Discount Tire and that is always free. Every other gas station Ive ever been to in my life gives you free air if you fill up, but I guess thats not how it is around these parts. To make matters worse the card reader on the air would not accept my credit card and there was no sign on the machine saying so. So I went in to tell the lady that the card reader was not working, and she said that she already knew. I told her that a sign might be helpful. I offered even to take one out so other people would know. She seemed to give me attitude about that, and that was after already having to go in to tell her that the gas pump, number 9, wouldnt pump after I entered my credit card and details and she told me it was because of the flap not coming all the way out and I had to somehow figure out what that is. Again, no sign letting people know if this problem. Right now shes outside smoking. This is on November 11th, Sunday morning at about 8. The funny thing is that this gal either cant count, or the air machine is taking more money than what its supposed to because I went in to get $2 in quarters because it cost a dollar fifty to get air (which is ridiculous), and when I was done putting in my quarters I only had one quarter left. I had to go in and fight with her about that too because she wasnt going to give me my extra quarter. Either say that the machine is not working if its taking extra money, or learn how to count or accept that you didnt give someone their correct change.

Gas prices are hit and miss. Sometimes its good and sometimes its bad. Service inside is about the worst Ive ever experienced. Prices are high in most products. Some various prejudices going on by employees and attendant friends cut the lines.

Tried to use restroom to wash my hands after purchasing fuel and was told the will not allow..Really thats terrible..guess they are not in compliance with covid rules

Very disappointed in the customer service at this station. I usually pump and pay outside but this time I decided to come in for the first time. Three workers including someone who seemed to be the manager were in close proximity to the checkout (this includes behind the register). While standing at the checkout, no one acknowledged me standing there until I had to ASK if I could checkout. The only good thing I can say is that they had a good selection of convenience items available for purchase but it’s really inconvenient for them to actually check you out.

Three employees not wearing face masks but refused service to me for not wearing a mask. Guess they just didnt want to do their jobs.

I gas up here out of convenience. Gas is on par with most local stations. The selection of snacks and drinks is adequate. The door alarm that notifies cashiers of incoming patrons is hideously loud--its admittedly a petty things to complain about, but it is a really obnoxious noise.

Nice to have a quick gas up option added. I really enjoy the car wash.

We bought lottery tickets and asked the cashier to run one set of numbers for 7 consecutive days however she ran the same set of numbers, 7 times, for the same day. We asked her to void them which per NC lottery rules can be done up until the draw, however she refused to void them. She called her manager while we were there and said that her manager informed her not to void the tickets and they refused to give us our money back. Other patrons in the store agreed this was wrong. The clerk was rude and refused to let us talk to the manager of whom she claimed was on the phone. Not a good business practice for a new business in town....we will not go back to your establishment and we will make sure to print this review on other social media channels! We are out $17.00 due to her error of which she would not acknowledge. Horrible customer service!

This is the only murphy usa in durham and the clerk claims they are not affiliated with Wal-Mart. This is the first murphy station i have ever encountered where you cannot use your Wal-Mart gift cards. Sucks!
