Wow! That was by far the best service I’ve ever had at any auto-body/mechanic shop. I never leave reviews but Safelite in Duluth MN deserves one! My window came off track and i stopped by to get it realigned. They had me in and out within 20 minutes and showed me exactly what they were doing. Made me feel that the person working on my car actually cared about my vehicle and wanted to make sure that everything was done the way it should be. That was the friendliest and smoothest car repair ive had. Well done!

My windshield was pretty well cracked, my remote start that was installed from best buy was also damaged along with my rear view mirror. The Safe lite crew replaced my windshield and also successfully fixed my remote start (glued it on the new windshield and tucked the cord into the frame) without any extra costs. Unfortunately I had to buy a new rear view mirror later on but they did try to pop it back on for me.I highly recommend this store to anyone in need of these services!

I had a crack in my windshield on a 2022 vehicle, so I called my insurance company who set up replacement with Safelite. I never received a call with an appt time so I called in about it after a few days and when I called the automated system recognized my number and told me when the appt was. After that I contacted the local shop directly to confirm the appt and was set to come in a couple weeks later. They said that since its a new 2022 vehicle that the glass would take a little longer to get, so they set the appt 2 weeks out. The day of my appt I arrived right at 8am, and when I got there I was told the glass had not even arrived yet. I didnt receive a call prior telling me NOT to come in, which was very unprofessional seeing as how I was late to work that morning for no reason and a simple phone call to reschedule would have been considerate. At the shop that morning the tech said Id get a call to reschedule, but they would likely just have to keep making phantom appts that would get pushed back until the glass became available. I never received a call after that! I called in a few days later and again, the automated system told me I had an appt a month later.I ended up calling CITY AUTO GLASS (5 stars- highly recommend them!) and switching this replacement to them. They got the glass in a few days after my call, and replaced the windshield the next day! The whole process with them was about a week, and everything was complete before my next phantom appointment Safelite. Overall Im just highly disappointed that Safelite couldnt even call to reschedule my first appt when they knew they didnt have the material. They didnt value my time, and ultimately it was not even an issue of availability of the glass as they said- since City Auto Glass was able to get it in right away.

Did good job on windshield replacement and new wipers work good now. Only thing is tech did not adjust wiper arms. I had to go to dealership for that. So check this before you leave their shop.

I set my appointment late on a Sat. The Tech was awesome and professional. He explained how the new glass would change my view, he was not kidding. 5 star service and products. He even upgraded me to a better windshield, at a very reasonable cost. They just happened to have it in stock.Great price for the service and education. Great folks at the Duluth location. I believe his name was Doug, could be wrong.Ive interacted with a handful of the staff and they all seem great. I am very impressed with this location. Great job guys and gals!

Store manager navigated a difficult situation correctly and professionally. An aftermarket windshield would not calibrate PCR properly. Safelite purchased an OEM windshield and properly calibrated the system correctly.

Amazing work done by Safelite. I cant beleive how organized and easy it was. Our technician Billie was absolutely amazing. She kept us informed every step of the way including when she was on her way, her progress and when she was close to finished. She was efficient but not in a hurry. We didnt even have a garage and it was cold outside but she didnt miss a beat. Why go somewhere when they will come to you. I highly recommend Billie and now Safelite.

Safelite AutoGlass had outstanding customer service and very friendly staff. Although I came in at the same time as another customer, they had both of us taken care of and back on the road very quickly. The waiting room and workshop were both clean and comfortable, and my new windshield is perfect! They worked directly with my auto insurance company and it was a completely hassle-free experience. I definitely recommend this shop!

We were at the Duluth MN location. A rock chip in our windshield was repaired perfectly, quickly and conveniently. It was easy to get an appointment and the technician was courteous and very efficient.

Such an easy, no hassle process! We had a windshield on a pickup replaced today and Im really happy with the cleanliness and timeliness of the replacement.

Went into Safelite to get my driver side window fixed (fell through into the door), and the guys working were immediately nice and approachable. I waited for maybe twenty or thirty minutes, if that, and it was already fixed and good to go. When I asked how they would prefer to be paid, they told me not to worry about it. I couldnt believe it. So, in summary, the guys were nice, they were good at their jobs, and on top of everything I didnt pay a dime. Im not saying expect it to be free, but what I am saying is these are the guys and this is the company that you want to support with your business. Thats how you get a customer for life. The only problem I have is I cant give them more stars. 5/5

Very nice people. I popped in to get a chip fixed and they got me in right away. Took care of it in a couple of minutes and I was on my way. Little hard to find, the entrance is actually in the back.

Had a great experience getting the glass replaced in my truck. I easily scheduled an appointment online, got handy reminder texts, and had the whole thing done in 40 minutes. Couldnt have been easier or more convenient. Very pleased.

I am very impressed. Smooth experience. The employees here are extremely friendly, and thorough. I ended up getting a defective windshield, which is not their fault, but they changed it immediately with no extra charge. I would recommend this to anyone above any other place.

I got online & scheduled a windshield replacement. I received various confirmation emails, including the name of the technician & that he would arrive yesterday between 12-5 pm. I waited until 5:40 pm & the technician never arrived, sent a text, or email to let me know he wasnt coming. I got back online & called the local office only to get a recording saying they were closed. I tried to use the online chat feature, but once again no one was available. I used the online contact us to send them a message & express my dissatisfaction as a first time (attempted) customer. As of 10 am this morning I have yet to hear from anyone. Theres no excuse for someone not contacting me to cancel the appointment. Very disappointed.

Didnt replace my windshield because there is a little rushed above top parkt of the windshield so I took it to local dody shop and the did the windshield and the rust was just surface rust at all JUST FYI no change they told me Safelite does that all the time and to update this complaint my truck wasnt even rusted at all where the windshield goes there was no rust on it and I have pictures to prove it the guy just didnt want to put a windshield in my truck

Had Safelite replace my windshield in my 2018 Camry. It didnt seal correctly the first time so they came back to my house a second time to replace the windshield. The Pre Collision had no issue the first time they replaced it. The second time they replaced it, the message came on stating there was a malfunction. Called and set up an appointment for it to be recalibrated. Brought my vehicle in to the shop 3 times for them to recalibrate it and it wouldnt recalibrate at all. Finally they told me to bring it to a actual toyota dealership which I did. The dealership told me that the heater circuit wire has been broken. Which could be from the tech guy pounding on my windshield and trying to take the windshield out with the mirror still connected to it. Called to speak with someone about it yesterday and the manager told me hed call back. Still havent heard anything.

Windshield hit by gravel on the freeway. This resulted in a small ding on the surface of the glass, but minimal cracking. I brought it in to Safelite on Michigan St. in Duluth. They handled all the phoning to get the repair covered by my insurance. What really impressed me though was the enthusiasm of Kyle who did the repair. He was very friendly, and explained the whole repair process as he did it. The result was a repair that completely restored the look of the windshield. Very professional. Kudos to Kyle!May 22, 2017 - And another chapter;I stupidly drove with an unsecured lawnmower in the back of my SUV. It smashed out the rear window.Safelite didnt have the window in stock, but they told me to come in to get the open gash sealed over the weekend. It rained about 2 inches, but the car stayed dry. Monday I was supposed to come in to Safelite for the new window to be installed, but I had to work unexpectedly. Andrew brought the repair van over and repaired it while I worked. Fantastic service again!

I thought that their service was good until a couple of months later, when my door broke and I took it to the mechanic and the technician practically ripped my door panel off and broke all the fasteners on the inside plus the attachments that needed to be bolted on so if you use them watch them. Because if you don’t they will not do a good .

Don’t even deserve 1 star, the guy forgot a tool under my hood and shut it and bent my hood up and didn’t re install the plastic cowl at the bottom of the windshield properly.

Dropped off the vehicle with a friendly employee that was waiting at the back garage door. They called about 45 minutes later to notify us the windshield replacement was done, since we left to get something to eat. New windshield was clean and havent noticed any issues.

Quick, fantastic repair, and the staff are wonderful too.

Service was fast and friendly, but 6 months later my window randomly shattered breaking at all 4 corners then spider cracking all across the whole window. Safelite wont warranty it since there is no warranty on rear windows. No where do they let you know that theres no warranty on a rear window. I paid $295 6 months ago and now they want $453 for the same window that still wont have a warranty. When I talked to them about a replacement the cs rep stated Safelite has a lifetime warranty. Their website states lifetime warranty when you request a quote. What a terrible business, bait and switch all the way.
