Visiting the St. Petersburg mint should be a definite stop while you are inside the Peter and Paul Fortress. I was stunned at the amount of bullion and coinage they had available to purchase. The jewelry selection is incredible. Pick up a few Russian .9999 silver coins while you are there. Nowhere else on Earth will you find these great coins. I was able to get gifts for my coin collecting friends and mail them back to the USA inside the mint. They handled everything for a very fair price!
Very russian
Stellar
Great place
Nice
To the west of the large square, opposite the cathedral of the fortress, the large building, is the Mint and the Museum of the History of Money. The Mint is a factory built between 1798 and 1806. The Mint was moved from Moscow. It is one of the oldest in the world for the production of coins, metals and commemorative badges. The products have high quality and reputation worldwide and have received many awards. A must-see for fans of coin collecting.Hours: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Closed on Thursday.Admission: 200 rubles.
Opposite the Peter and Paul Cathedral, in the very heart of the Peter and Paul Fortress, there is the building of the Mint, one of the oldest industrial enterprises in the city that minted coins, orders and medals. He was transferred here from Moscow by decree of Peter I in 1724 and before the construction of a special building occupied the Trubetskoy and Naryshkin bastions. The mint works to this day, as before, issuing Russian coins, medals and awards. The manufacture of these products requires secrecy, so visitors are not allowed inside the Mint.
The Museum of the History of Money, recently opened on the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress. I advise you to visit. Very interesting expositions, there are video materials, you can take an excursion. The price of an adult ticket without a guide is 200 rubles. There is a shop next to the museum where collectors can buy some of the rare items.
A very interesting building. Located in the heart of the city 💓 - the Peter and Paul Fortress. It is interesting to observe how dozens of KAMAZ trucks gather here in the morning - they are stuffed with money and they go around the city to deliver babyshko ...
Repair, they make money here 💰
The building is impressive. And the inscription too. The mint cannot be imagined without a solid sign in the inscriptions that has sunk into summer.
Who doesnt love money? It is interesting to go to everyone from child to adult. Children are interested to buy a coin from the device
Awesome experience. The exhibition is interactive. It was interesting for both children and adults. You can try to mint coins yourself !!! Lots of games and tasks. We liked .
Super. Nice and cool. Instructive.
Sorry, closed for visitors to quarantine
Few people know that there are no coins and gold bars in the shop windows. What visitors see is a holographic image on the film. Silver and everything else is real.
Beautiful inside, but prices for foreign tourists ...
Native leaden weather, stones, Petropavlovka. what could be dearer
If you want to walk along the narrow old streets, then this is a great place, like a gate through time
Serious guard
Great museum! the room is small, but full of different notions.
