Entered the check in line, requested basic 3 month service and inspection, waited approximately 30 min. in the waiting room (took a short nap!), and was notified the job was complete. No problems, and will return in 3 months for next service. Staff is great at Downey Care!

All the staff were very friendly and took their time to explain everything to me. Not pushy to purchase anything. Will be coming back.

I’ve been coming here for approximately 2 years. They are always professional and give their honest opinion when something is wrong with your car. I’ve honestly saved a lot of money coming here for maintenance on my vehicles and oil changes. They are also pretty quick if there is a wait they tell you up front so you know what to expect. 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

I showed up for my appointment about an hour early and was instantly taken care of. They’re all really fast and efficient plus great customer service in all departments. I will definitely be bringing my car back for all future maintenance.

First of all its been a while since I return, nothing has changed i got there before other cars and they let them go first before me. Other than that I mean I went in for an oil change. No one explained to me what exactly they did to my truck if they added water or if it needs to tires nothing. All I got was sorry forgot about you and here you receipt please go and pay.. Im pretty sure they working on customer service I just didnt get that day.

I came in for a quick flat tire repair. Staff was great. Service was fast. Staff noticed my oil life light was on and asked if I needed to do that service as well which was kind of them to have noticed. Definitely recommend! 🙂

I called asking for some help with my AC in my Sprinter van. They said they needed to start with a diagnostic (standard at any car repair place) and it would take 1-2 hours. I set an appointment at 8:30 expecting to make a decision by 10:30 on whether or not to leave the van for repairs after the diagnostic. After dropping it off, I just saw my van sit at the same parking spot I left it at for the next hour and 15 minutes. I approached the mechanics/customer service working there and they said it would take longer than 45 minutes to complete the test once it’s in (there were open bays available). I had a schedule that day and expected to either take the van back or rent a car by 10:30 and it didn’t look like they could deliver on their promise so I took my van back and left. The mechanic asked if I wanted to come back in the afternoon… why? So I can wait another hour for my van to sit in a parking spot?!? What is the point of having a reservation if you won’t honor it?! I’m sure they’re a good company when it comes to small stuff like an oil change that you can get anywhere; but when it comes to more complex stuff, maybe I’ll go to a spot where people are competent, understanding of their customers, and can deliver on their promises.

I absolutely love this place they have a hand car wash that always does a phenomenal job and it’s super conviene to have a gas station and a car repair all on the same lot.I’ve been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. 100% recommend to everyone in the area

Great service at the lube center treated me really well overall pretty good at the car wash vacuuming could have been a little bit better couple of spots missed here and there.

It is good but i was felt like since this was warranted alignment service it was not performed as they performed alignment when initially back in April 21. When last time alignment was performed I was feeling that steering was so smooth to operate but this time I wasn’t feeling any different. Not sure if they have performed the alignment throughly.

Service is great and prices are very competitive. I really appreciate that the advisors dont try to pressure you into getting services that are not needed and they try to help you out with saving money as much as they could. The free car washes are really awesome and they do such a good job.

First time at Downey Car Care Center. We stopped by without an appointment and asked about a brake fluid flush and checking the alignment. They were able to accommodate (quickly) and turned the X3 over to tech Eric Rodriguez. They send me a text with the alignment specs showing the X3 was out of spec and I approved service. The services were completed and when we returned for the X3, we were pleasantly surprised to see it had been hand-washed as well. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and efficient. The service was outstanding and pricing very competitive. A solid 5 ***** recommendation!

I was completely unsatisfied with this place! I sat there for 5 hours for new brakes. My car just sat there unattended. The mechanic NEVER communicated with me that they needed parts to be delivered. Claimed the vendor continued to send incorrect parts but my mechanic wasnt even trying to fix the issue. Instead he left for over an hour on his lunch break. Then once I spoke up after 5 hours of waiting patiently.. my mechanic caught an attitude.I was over charged for service they never did on my car.I will not ever return to this place!

I took my car in for a diagnostic testing because the check engine light was on. I was told that it was the catalytic converter that was faulty and because it was still under warranty that I should take my car to the dealership to be fixed. They even waived the diagnostic fee. I love their honesty and will now always take my car to Downey Car Car for all my maintenance and repair needs!!! Thank you Yesenia and Mike.

Mike was my service advisor, he was very professional and courteous. He was patient with all my questions and never bothered by my phone calls (I called a few times). The service was prompt, great warranty, informative, (I had a million and one questions). I just picked my car up and it seems like all is great but Mike said dont hesitate to come back if need be. Oh, and the free car wash was an added perk! I also price checked and they are very reasonable.

I was happy with the service that was provided. I received a free estimate for my car and requested an oil change and was satisfied but wasn’t offered a free car wash as I saw that another customer was offered it twice when I read the reviews. I’m very disappointed that they didn’t inform me of this and I dealt with two advisors and neither of them offered this to me.

Just had my fuel injectors cleaned and cylinder 4 injector replaced. So far my car runs 👍 great. And all for a good price that comes with a warranty im impressed. Customer service needs a little work from the mechanic area but overall thanks everyone keep up the good job.

Downey Car Care Center has been my go to repair and maintenance shop for many years. The quality of their work is top notch and they are always really friendly and helpful whenever I have car repair and maintenance questions. Edgar and Mike always take time to answer questions despite how busy their schedules are. They are honest about the car work that needs to be done and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I really love this place but yesterday 9/2/2021 (arrived around 12:15 I had a bad experience. I had to leave without getting my oil change ! I was checked in at 12:23 (according to the check in text on my phone) and I asked the individual checking me in if my car could be done by 1 (since I had to go back to work ) to which she responded “of course. It’ll be fast”. Then she spent about 5-6 minutes trying to convince me to get a synthetic oil change. To which I kept insisting NO. She must have asked me like 7 times (no exaggeration) . She was clearly upset that I did not want the upgraded oik change. Then I’m waiting for my car to be serviced in waiting room and I step out at 12:55 and my car hadn’t even been started. I left without an oil change because the time I was told I would be done they had not even started. I really like this place but the service I received yesterday was not good. And very frustrating .

I originally made an appointment on yelp for brake pads. I suggest you call instead, you will get much more information through the phone. The staff if super friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable, and answer questions quickly and confidently. I got a free brake check and quote, and will need to come back. Parts need to be ordered, and I did go later in the day on a Saturday. But I will definitely be coming here to get the services I need.

They were friendly. It was straightforward. Simple. My wifes car needed an oil change. Midweek we had the seating area to ourselves, they have a few outdoor benches too. They advised us of some things. It was pretty quick!I would go there again and again. I just wish they included a simple car wash. So we went to Shell and got one. This place is fast, helpful, and its not far from us.

I initially went because I needed a check engine light diagnostic but they only do those by appointment so I was a bit bummed out about that. I needed other general repairs so I proceeded to get the maintenance. They told me it was a 2-3 hour wait it went a little over 3 hours and no one ever came to give me an update if the car it at least call me. I got up to see if I saw my car and noticed it was just parked. I could tell the service advisor was busy but it doesn’t justify me having to wait more than the designated time or having to guess the status of my car. Anyway to make matters worse I get to the register and there was a $130 charge for who knows what. Im glad I caught it but the person ringing me up couldn’t even explain what the extra amount was for. They honored my original total but overall they’re super crowded and the service isn’t as great as it was a couple of years ago.

So I can yelped this place and saw that the reviews were great, I called to make an appointment and on the day of my appointment I was quickly taken care of by Yecenia. She was very friendly and helpful. My whole experience here was amazing and I strongly recommend going. I surely will be a returning customer.

I dropped off my car at 11AM, and went to pick it up at 3:40pm as they told me it was ready. i got my brake pads and rotors replaced. when i came to get my car, i noticed they did not check my TPMS . it was still on. i had to wait another 25 mintures which resulted my being late for my appointment.

Decent pricing and kept me informed of work needing to be done. Took a little longer than anticipated but it was okay because they did provide transportation for me to go home and not wait there.

Text me a reminder that I had an appointment the following day. Good and fair pricing . they told me of other repairs needed. No pressure to get it done. My car was ready when they said it would be.

This was a quick and easy one to say the least. Very complete diagnostic of wheels and battery FOR FREE. Very satisfied with the car wash after as well. 5 out of 5.

Im very happy with the work they did to my car but they need to communicate with the customer alot better and be more polite I felt that I was just a # with no value I asked questions about my car and they wouldnt fully explain it to me but like I said I m happy with the work it was done to my car I just wish they had a better customer service

Be careful here. Smooth sales woman, with smooth talk, making all sorts of promises (to satisfy her boss...), then you have to dish out the bucks. That person should keep there word. Now, they are marked for life as a lier.

This place was absolutely amazing. I dropped off first thing in the morning and Mike took very good care of me . The place is very clean, they offer condiments in the waiting area as well as free charging stations. My car needed a lot of repairs and we went with what was most important first. They even fully washed my car before returning it. I was so amazed at the level of professionalism, kindness, and just the kind of pride this establishment takes within their business. My husband and I have decided this will be the place where we continuously take our cars instead of going to the dealership. It’s so hard to find great mechanics outside of the dealership but the fact that this place is licensed and all of their work comes with a three-year warranty helped make this decision a lot easier. The price was great for the amount of work being done and I will definitely be back to finish the last two things. Thank you Mike for your professionalism and taking the time to go over everything with me so that I was able to understand exactly what was going on with my car. I’ve been going to this spot for years. I moved out of downey and still commute to this place Bc I liked the service. I recently did a oil change and wash for two cars and I was really disappointed. My truck didn’t even looked washed. Still had dirt and interior wasn’t wiped down. Front windshield still had residue and smudges. I understand truck is large but I paid for the extra service. I don’t think I’ll continue going anymore. Oil change was great… fast and efficient.

I had my car towed to Downey Car Care Center after my car seized on the freeway, since that is where I take all my cars for all repairs. Downey car care checked out my car and it ended up that it needed a new engine. They took the extra step to contact a nearby Hyundai service center to ask some questions and Downey Car Center was told that my Hyundai might possibly be covered under a warranty but that they would have to check the car first. To make a long story short I am getting a new engine from the Hyundai dealer. Downey Car Care Center is a very honest and reliable place to take your vehicle, being a woman they could have easily told me I needed a new engine and been charged an exorbitant amount, instead they were honest and like I previously mentioned they took the extra step to call the Hyundai service center. I recommend Downey care car to everyone, all the workers are very knowledgeable and honest.

Booked an appt. upon arrival there was a 2 hour wait, appt was not honored. They suggested I return which I did & there was was a very short wait but overall I’m content with the service provided.

The waiting area is nice clean and inviting.I went for a wheel alignment and after they thoroughly checked my car it was determined a wheel alignment was not needed. Initially called in to get a quote from Hiram, told me to give him a couple seconds to get to a new computer and kept me on the phone for 20 minutes before I was transferred over to someone else. When I finally got my car repair which was a transmission leak, they broke my oil dipper and it stayed jammed so I couldn’t pull it out. But it was frustrating because I didn’t notice it until a day afterwards when I had already taken it home and no one informed me of this. Then when I went back to take it to them they still took a couple hours just to replace it. Lastly, I had drove the car for several days and felt it feel awful, it felt very shaky and when I was driving it felt like it had no power in it. I eventually stop by a auto mechanic nearby and when they checked it out and found there was no transmission fluid. Downey car Care drained my transmission fluid and didn’t even bother putting any back in. I could’ve made my car worse just because they didn’t do their job right. I get people make mistakes, But not rectifying this and still charging me an outrageous amount is ridiculous.

Very Disorganized!!! First I spoke to the manager Sean regarding my window situation. Sean said sure bring the car in. I took my car into Downey Care, they tell me they were backed up that i had to make an appointment. I told the employee i spoke to Sean so they said ok its going to take all day. I said cool Ill just leave my car. I left my car all day for them to tell me i need the part that would take a week. Week goes by i call and there like a few more days. 3 1/2 weeks goes by and they called me that they got the part in. I think they forgot to order the part. When i called they ordered it.I resolved my issue to another mechanic that took care of it in a day. Took my business somewhere else. Downey Care needs to get it together and giving customers the run around isnt the way to run a shop. Downey Care is very disorganized with communication and managing services. I Will never go back to Downey Care Center ✌🏻

I went in to the ship yesterday. I was greeted by a very helpful receptionist who took my info and got my service started right away. The actual oil change start to finish was 20 min at most. They have a 2 man team work on each car. Very efficient. I was given a discount since I brought my own oil and filter. This was my first time, but I would highly recommend them if you need to get oil change. I have a few other repairs and I will be taking my car to them. Will let you know how that goes, but I dont think I will be having any problems.

Waste of time. Appointment was pointless, no organization and they were late. I was told they would need to find parts for my car and would call me back with more information, which they never did.

The experience was nice, detailed my car after service however they only did the transmission fluid change and didnt inspect anything else on my car like most places. So after driving 18hrs my car started to drive different. Pulled over and checked my oil and it was bone dry. I was very disappointed because had they checked and told me u would have paid for the additional service because I needed it to get back home.

I got my serpentine belt and other belt replaced. They were fast and did a great job. Even got a free car wash. For sure Ill be back

I brought my Volvo S60 in for a much needed oil change. They are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable to any questions you may have regarding your vehicle. The waiting section was comfortable with a fully stocked cooler for anybody who needs to quench their thirst. It also included a large screen TV and very comfortable seats. After the oil change they gave my car a free car wash by hand. I didnt even realize where all the time went but as far as Im concerned this was the best experience I have regarding my car getting worked on. I will be looking forward to my next visit at Downey Car Care Center.

We decided to come here based on how close it was and the prices sounded doable for us. Turned out our car needed all 4 brakes. I was expecting to pay more to be honest. They did an amazing job, first of all they had my car out the same day. When I picked it up they also topped off my oil and gave it a carwash, inside and out. I was blown away by the service. It was amazing. Dana helped me from start to finish and he was so amazing. Above and beyond. Would definitely come back.

I get a vehicle washed here every week. So when my personal truck needed front and rear brakes I decided to try them out. I called 1 day in advance to make an appointment. Mike the service coordinator was very helpful. They did all four of my brakes with new front discs which I new where bad. They didnt try to upsell me anything and they detailed my truck for free.I will continue to use this hidden gem of a repair shop. Very 😊

This place is Best for alignments & service !! They are Both professional & on time . Unlike every other dealership & tire shop around that I called who wanted to keep my truck ALL day on a Saterday !! Downey Car Care Center told me they could take my truck and it would be returned in 2 hours., & it was! They texted me when it was finished. I’m a very satisfied customer & will return if I ever needed service. Costco referred me & I wasn’t too sure at first because it was a little out of the way drive for me but lesson learned ... so worth the drive!

I took the car with manual transmission in a couple months ago because it didnt want to shift to 2nd and reverse with grinding noise. They told me it was the clutch that was worn out so they replaced it. Two months later I had the same issue with the 2nd gear after a couple minutes of driving. I took the car back they test drove it, they said I had to shift it in high RPMs in order to shift, but before I didnt have to do that. Afterwards, the car still had the same issue after a couple minutes of driving. From my experience, they dont do a good job with clutches/manual transmissions.
