Glen and the used car sales manager came all the way through for me. I test drove a ram 1500, but couldn’t buy it because I heard squeaking in the suspension. Glen had the service department work on it, they found 2 issues and fixed them. Test drove it again… still squeaking. Left for 2 weeks tried again after some forum reading… still squeaking. I loved this truck so I came to the manager and said “I have the money but I can’t buy this beautiful truck squeaking” we go outside he hears it, sends it back to the service department. 2 days later I drove it.. no squeaks! They put aside for me because my bank was already closed. A wholesale buyer came and grabbed all their rams, but they wouldn’t give him mine. And that’s the part that meant a lot to me. They coulda went back on their word, but they didn’t. And that people is great customer service.

My wife and I decided it was time to trade in our car and replace it with a certified 2019 Acura RDX. Our sales rep Austin from Price Acura in Dover made our transaction from start to finish very easy and smooth. Austin allowed us to test drive the vehicle while he had our trade in appraised. I used the KBB website recommended by Price Acura to get the best cash offer available. After we test drove the RDX, it was time to sit down at the table and complete the negotiations. Price Acura was able to come within a reasonable range of the KellyBlueBook value. As we were waiting for the finance mgr Jim to finish up his part of the paperwork, Austin went over the 180 point inspection that Acura completed on the RDX we were purchasing. Austin threw in a free extended 2yr /100,000 mile warranty on top of the manufacturers 4yr/50,000 mile warranty. He told us that Price Acura was also running a special on “Lifetime Engine warranty”. I felt pretty good that they were standing behind their certified RDX that I was purchasing from them. They also offered an additional 8yr/120,000 bumper to bumper warranty at a cost, however never pressured us into buying it. The next day I received a call from Austin telling me that I needed to come back into the dealership and re-sign my contract because he and Jim the finance mgr were able to negotiate with my personal bank another 1/2 percent off my loan rate. Saved me about $600 over the next five years that the bank doesn’t get to keep. Price Acura threw in a years complimentary trial of “Acura Link” which allows me to lock/unlock doors, remote start engine, see my tire pressure, Ect all from my IPhone. Lastly they threw in a years worth of oil changes and tire rotations. My overall experience was 5 out of 5 stars. I definitely would recommend Price Acura Of Dover as my choice to purchase a vehicle and highly recommend Austin as your sales rep.Fred & Jessenia G

As I pulled into Price Acura I didnt really know what to expect having purchased our 2020 MDX at a huge dealership in Va, then retiring to Delaware . I have to say the service team starting with Colleen were unbelievable. She got me in, car was serviced in no time, she explained everything with no pressure, I told her I would like roof rails installed, they got them ordered, two days later I returned they were installed quickly and they look great . I could not be any happier with the service and the way all the people in the service dept. starting with Colleen treated me and our MDX . I look forward to many years of dealing with them.
Broke down in Ocean City MD on vacation. We live in CT. Had my MDX towed to Price Acura. Colleen was my service advisor during the 2 weeks my car was at Price. I was issued a loaner so that I could go back home and have a vehicle to drive while mine was being repaired. I was kept informed of the status of my vehicle daily. Colleen was able to help cut down costs by price matching my regular Acura dealers prices in CT. She also did everything she could to ease a difficult and stressful situation for me being out of state. I picked my car up yesterday and so far everything seems great. I am very particular and was so worried about using an unfamiliar dealership. I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience at Price. Every dealership should have an employee like Colleen.

We had a bad experience with a different Acura service center north of this one. We got scam like treatment with regards to a price quote on a timing belt change. They essentially refused to call us back on 3 separate occasions once we said we werent interested in their 2k$ timing belt package. Even though it was a further drive, we gave up on them and called Price Acura in Dover, and were very happy with the person we spoke with (pretty sure it was Colleen). She was nice, professional, and got us down to a more reasonable price for what we were looking for. Great customer service, I would go there again, even though its an hour away.

I sold a vehicle to price Acura and was more than okay waiting to receive my check since they had to pay off the little bit that was left on the car. I found out two weeks later that I had to go on a mission for my job (military) a mission that could possibly last a few months. I went in to explain my situation since they had to wait for them to receive the title before giving me the check. I asked for an exception and the manager James P was No help at all, he repeatedly told me that he couldn’t help and that what I was asking for was absolutely out of the questions so I asked to speak to his manager and his response was “I’m your guy, I’m it. you’re going to get the same answer from anyone else above” finally I was able to speak to his boss the General manager Ricky and Ricky was more than helpful he went above and beyond to find a resolution that worked for me and price Acura. I am so thankful for him and the way he handled the situation. The manager James on the other hand could use some training on how to treat customers because his persona was not pleasant at all. Very courteous staff. They are also accommodating and knowledgeable. The labor is a little pricey. Will always go to this location over the one in new castle and I live about 15 minutes from the new castle dealership. Its like night day between the two.

I recently purchased a used car, probably a trade in, from Price Acura. I bought the car sight unseen online from 2,500 miles away! The entire transaction was online or over the phone and was trouble free. I flew in to pick up the car and found it to be exactly as represented, serviced and ready to go; even had temp plates assigned! The salesman, Michael W, handled the entire transaction from beginning to end and even picked me up at a nearby motel. Need a car? Try Price Acura/Honda first! :-)
I was very well taken care of when I brought my Acura in for a recall service. Very comfortable and accommodating waiting area with snacks, coffee and soda. Jeremy was a pleasure and kept me well updated while I waited, he was also very helpful with explaining everything relating to my car. I have no idea what has transpired here, but it is not good for customers. I have frequented this establishment many times for service and purchases. However, within the last couple of years, I have received nothing but disappointments. The service department gives incorrect pricing quotes, the service advisors are defiant, and the managers are always unavailable. It is really unfortunate as this is the only Acura service department in this area. However, I will drive upstate before I am insulted, unappreciated, and undervalued again. BEWARE!!!!
The worse. The lady talked about herself the entire time. Then had the nerve to yell at me. Im 45 years old, she lost her mind. I got out of there and brought a car elsewhere.
Disappointed in Price Acura. My car was brought in for whats called a B2 oil change. The price for that oil change, inspection and new windshield wipers was $230. Because I used the pick up service, I was informed it woulde be a couple days before I got my car back, which was fine. The day I was to get my car back, I was told the transmission light came on and they would need another day to diagnose the issue. Fine. A day went by and they informed me that they ran a diagnostic test, but couldnt find a problem so they reset the code and my car was ready to go, but to call them if the light came back on and bring it back in. 2 weeks later, the transmission light came back on so I brought my car back in as instructed. When I got to the dealership, I was told it would cost me another $130 to run another diagnostic test even though my car was there two weeks prior. Why would I have to pay for them to run the same diagnostic test that came up with no results while my car was under their care? Frustrated and disappointed. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I hate car shopping! I hold onto my cars for years just so I don’t have to go through the excruciating process When the insurance company told me my car was a total loss after an accident I was involved in I broke out into a cold sweat in anticipation of the car shopping process. Price Acura was the first dealership my wife and I stopped at to begin the journey. We were welcomed by sales associate Rafael Gomez He immediately made us feel comfortable about wandering around looking at what was in our price range, running to get the keys and suggesting we test drive a few cars we were interested in to see. He was respectful of our decision to look at other dealerships. I think he knew we would be back. We went down the street and looked at a few other cars but we both knew something was “different”. The sales person was not listening to what we wanted. Of course we went back to Price Acura and our new friend Rafael. We wandered again and Rafael was so helpful. He refused to tell us what he would recommend. He told us the best car is the one we feel is right for us. We ended up with the perfect car for us and a different perspective about car shopping. I can say that this is a truly unique experience for the salesman, as well as the customer. Completely transparent pricing structure, and a willingness to make sure our customers are as happy as possible. Obviously, we wont please everyone. But, we try really hard. I had a somewhat unique situation and everyone involved, from the Service Department to Sales, did their best to make a bad situation good - not something I can say I experience these days. Bret did all the work & coordinating while keeping me informed every step of the way, Matt kept things moving while taking care of my worries and questions, and Jim also explained everything in detail while wrapping things up and getting me out of there very quickly like I needed. It was a very smooth, quick and often-humorous process thanks to everyone. Even though they were not greatly profiting from me, I was still catered to like they were. Very happy with my experience with Price, I purchased a certified used 2017 ATS from them back in November, I loved the car but within a week I started to notice the transmission was very jerky between 1-2nd gear and the rain sense wipers were not seeming to work. I called my sales person Nathan and explained the issue, he immediately teamed up with his manager to see what we should do. Long story short I did end up having to take it to the Local Cadillac dealer to get it worked on because it’s still under factory warranty. My rating is mostly based on the excellent sales person Nathan who I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the market for a vehicle. He’s excellent, he’s called me every week since the issue to check in and see how everything’s working out with the car, having been in sales before myself, I recognize fake sales people from a mile away and Nathan is the exact opposite. I came in an hour before they closed on a Sunday, and even though the original manager that called me to ask if there’s anything they can do to “speed up the process” because they were about to close in an hour and more than made sure I understood that (mind you this was before I even got to the dealership) was frankly pretty unflattering to start the experience. Nathan turned that around, he didn’t look unpleased or disgruntled that I was coming in an hour before they closed but instead took his time and made sure I got the car I wanted and explained everything fully and in a way that made sense (unlike some dealers). There are so many examples of how he went above and beyond but I won’t put them here as this would turn into a chapter book. I will definitely be back for any future auto needs.
I recently leased an Acura from Price Acura and it was absolutely the best car buying experience Ive had. The whole process was comfortable and non-intimidating. If more people were like my salesperson Anthony, and Ricky in finance, there would be no negativity surrounding the car buying process. I need to update my review after buying my daughter a used car at Price Honda recently (fall 2017) I was very disappointed. The salesman was sleazy and misogynistic. There were several additional charges for things added on without our consent that we caught before we completed the sale. One of those items was a feature already on the used car we were buying and was shown to us on the test drive. They actually thought it was ok to then remove it because I refused to pay for it bc “no haggle pricing” I won that one; then we were told if we financed through them we get free service for a year, as we were signing the financial documents we were told that too was a lie. We set down our pens and they decided to also honor what the salesman told us. Be very careful who you deal with, this has hands down been my worst car buying experience ever. I will give Price the benefit of the doubt that it was the lousy salesman’s fault. However, I question their integrity keeping him on staff, I wonder if his antics make them enough money to risk their reputation.Previous review:After buying my last 3 cars her I am Very happy with their no pressure sales and knowledge of their service programs. All of the Acura staff have been great to work with, they are friendly and helpful. The services provided have always been very good.
My service experience at Price Acura was excellent! I had the A14 (Timing Belt...) service performed on a 2012 TL. The price was competitive (I shopped around (MD, NJ, DE)). There are no issues with my car (I drove the car over 2500 miles before posting this review, just in case something went wrong).The staff is VERY friendly! They treated me as if I purchased my car at their dealership (loner car, free snacks, car wash...). They even said that they would have picked up the car (for service), if I lived closer (1hr, 40min drive).Also, no sales tax in DE. Well worth the trip to DE.

We were greeted at the door on Friday by a knowledagble associate Austin, who prepared a car for us to drive. We came back with a lot of questions but received the time and attention to work through them. We came back on Sunday and drove another vehicle and worked with Robin Watts, whom we had purchased a car from 13 yers earlier and still drive. Robin took us through the details of the car.
