A good place to get body & paint done on your vehicles

04 mustang went in for minor body work and full paint job. It took 3 and 1/2 weeks and I had to call them to learn why. The painters quit. Took it back for necessary touch ups that took 4 weeks. I had to call for an explanation again, the booth was broken. Throughout the process we called multiple times to get an answering service. My rental car exceeded my paint bill of $1580.00. No one offered a partial refund or apology. Once home I realized bumper was installed incorrectly. NEVER AGAIN!

Buyer Beware! Took our son’s car up for a paint job and had the catalytic converter stolen while it sat on their lot. Manager said they are not responsible for the repair and now we are out twice what we would’ve paid for the paint job since we now have to replace the part and the oxygen sensor. They know they have a problem - the last 30 minutes of their business day was spent packing vehicles tightly right at the front of the business in front of the camera. When looking at their camera footage, our car was behind a larger van and therefore blocked from view. They also said they contacted us to tell us the car was ready - in this day of digital tracking there is NO evidence that they called on the cell OR emailed.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for collision repair or general auto maintenance to invest in this shop. Good quality, professional staff, fair pricing, and great overall service. Gerald was great.

I came to Maaco to have my truck repaired after an accident on my way to work on morning. I can say that I will not go ANYWHERE else but here to have any work done on any of my vehicles. They were amazing from start to finish with every aspect of it. I have always been scared of repair shops- not knowing what the charges were going to end up being. These guys gave me a great deal on everything (there was SOO much to be repaired) and got in done within a short time frame. Bri & Julie were awesome!! They made it easy and seamless for me knowing that I was nervous about the whole ordeal. Mike did an AMAZING JOB on my truck and I could not be happier!! Thanks guys!! I will send everyone to you! Had some back and forth... overall paint job was good though I was informed that the rust from front of good wood be sanded down and painted.. it wasnt. Gerald was good guy to work with.

I use the Maaco at Lafferty & DuPont Hwy in Kent/Dover DE. I received the best quality service. The front office was attentive and pleasant. My car was making some scary 😟 noises and other shops were telling me to get rid of my car but Maaco repaired the damage to my frame, replaced whatever hardware I needed, got me an alignment and I was good to go. I highly recommend Macco because they will take good care of your vehicle 🚗

I dropped off my car in hopes to have some repairs done and a paint job. However, on the 9th day of not hearing anything from them I called them and at first they told me they didnt have my keys then they told me that no work was done because the parts didnt come in. Im very unsatisfied that they didnt reach out to me with that update. On top of that they didnt apologize for the delay in service when I was advised at the beginning it would take 5-10 business days. The customer service was terrible.

Very unsatisfied with their service!! For one they never finished fixing my car. Every time I called they always said they’re going to call me back and never did. Never called me when my parts came in, they completely stopped looking for my part needed!! When getting my car back they had it completely dirty on the inside. However the paint job was good.. there’s a gap between my hood and my fender now. I wouldn’t recommend going there!!

Maaco fixed a repair to my vehicle after a collision. The were able to get me in without hesitation, when I thought I was just going for an estimate they actually kept my vehicle and began repairs shortly after. The price was estimated way lower than other local collision shops. My car came back as good as NEW. I’m grateful for Gerald and the team at Maaco for doing an exceptional job as well as having wonderful customer service. If your car is involved in a situation contact MAACO, it was the way to go !

What an amazing job!! My family owned a successful body shop most of my life, so I didn’t expect much for the price I paid. Was I wrong!!

This has to be the WORST run business in the entire state. The manager switches prices multiple times and has terrible communication skills. The manager messed up my car repair and now I have to come out of pocket for her mistake of ordering the wrong part instead of repairing the damage! I called corporate 8 times to only get another story from them staying they had no idea what I was talking about. I then got a harassing email from the manager calling me a liar and basically poor because I didn’t want to pay the absurd amount for the cost of the part SHE ordered on her own without my approval. This place deserves to be shut down! DO NOT COME HERE!!

Overall decent paint job except for left front panel there is a ripple in the paint job but the reason why I gave it a 3 is because somebody was raffling through my trunk I know how I left it and now my check engine light is on when I left your Tuesday but Im thinking okay its a sensor maybe as going to go off never had this problem before called the car dealership they recommended that I tell you guys this because now I have to pay $117.88 for a diagnostic testing the check engine light through me off

My experience was phenomenal and great customer service. My car looks amazing and at a reasonable price. I am glad, I finally took my car to Maaco. I recommend Maaco highly.

We took the truck in at the end of July (27th) for painting....mind you we take very good care of our vehicles inside and out. They had the truck for about 7 weeks, it was promised for pick-up on 8/6. We understood the tornado hit and we were glad they kept it because it would have been totaled. My husband didnt notice there was a spot that they missed and we dropped it back off for them to paint it. Again they said the truck would be ready by the 5th or 6th of this month. My husband called about it this afternoon and was told there was a dent on the top (which there wasnt) and it would cost over a 1,000$ for the repair, also the spot they missed wasnt painted. My husband went in to discuss this with the manager and she wouldnt even talk to him, just gave him the keys. So I will make a complaint to the BBB and go in for arbitration. I could go on but I wont...my warning is simply, dont take your vehicle there for painting. If you decide to go there, take this advice....take pictures with time and date you drop your vehicle off because they will not take responsibility to damage they have created.

I have a 2007 Infiniti M35X. My paint was chipping all the way down to the clear coat. My car is in great shape other than the paint. I wanted that fixed and wasnt expecting what I got from Maaco. The car looks brand new. The guys did a awesome job. Jerold told me they can make my car look good again. I said lets get it done. It came out very good. I also got my headlight done. They also went over my car and gave me car care instructions. No more foggy headlight. Maacco team in Dover Thankyou !

Very nice people,gave me a wonderful quote on a paint job for a truck.

These folks do not stand by their work. I have overspray everywhere they repaired. I was told I could pay for them to buff it out since there are so many factors that come into play when it comes to orange peel this was a 2300 dollar repair, in which they claim, is just like factory. I was told cars come from the factory with orange peel. Avoid, and choose local. My bad. Attorney general next for me. Im not letting this go

Brought my wifes car in got an estimate for some minor scratches and left with a typed estimate for $268 but when we brought it back to have the work done, another manager said the price was added wrong and now it costs $350.

Bad communication, different estimates given by 2 people there. 1st saying much lower then insurance gave, then was given exact what insurance gave. Confusing. Not using This company

The entire car is orange peeled, The hydraulics of my hood are broken, my rear windshield wiper motor was broken, The body damage was painted over the first time, there is paint inside the car, overspray on the side view mirrors and headlights, and did not follow instructions when I said fix everything on the car and everything that could be missing from the accident. They just patched it together the best they could. Would not recommend if you are expecting your car to look new again.

Horrible horrible horrible service I will never return to this company again. The manager was arguing with me, called me a liar, and also kept lying to me giving me false information. They didnt want to take responsibility for their mistakes it was just a horrible 2 weeks. Had to call corporate 3 times for them to do my paint job right they even damaged my product and told me that no one would notice it. Just never go to this location for anything. They are very unprofessional, they are horrible with their job and did not want to compensate me for all the trouble i had to deal with with them.

Very easy experience. I just wished they would have dusted in edges of panels replaced a little more. Would of made a difference in the world to me.

I did my own collision repair for my daughters first car and I got the lowest cost paint job with urethane added. Far exceeded my expectations and better quality job than the wilmington location used to do.

I have had 2 of my vehicles done at this location and Im about to have another one done...they do great work and it doesnt take them forever to get it done.

Just a few flaws but I truly love the job they did. Also she told me I could bring the car back anytime due to the 5yr warranty.

I received 4 estimates on some body work to my car. Maaco was significantly cheaper than all the rest. They were friendly and professional. Everything was finished when expected and my car looks brand new, the work far exceeded my expectations. 👍

Took my infinity g35 for a repaint and fix some dents they fixed it and brought it back to life they did good job I’d recommended them if anyone wants fresh paint job or any work done.

The lady that does the estimates is very unprofessional and rude they painted my car the wrong color she got loud I will be processing court papers

I paid for and labor, they never called me to drop the car when the parts was delivered as promised. They did after 40 days . When I went to drop the car, I was told that the parts were thrown away. I lost the money.

Customer service is great.

Had a hood painted here. Customer service was excellent, and the hood came out great other than a few tiny air bubbles (couldnt really see them unless I had light against the hood)
