Had a great first visit for a couple cups of coffee. The credit card machine was having issues but the staff were apologetic and patient. Coffee was good, a little strong for some tastes maybe. Friendly people and pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

A nice coffee shop with a nice selection of coffees. The shop itself has plenty of room if you want to hang out with some friends. I got an iced coffee with a shot of sugar free chocolate flavor. Other things we got were cafe mocha, strawberry banana smoothie, and bird and bean coffee. Very tasty!

One of the best honey lavender coffee I have ever tasted. The gift shop area is perfect if you need a unique card or special gift...very nice choices.

Came in after walking through the store next door which is also owned by same woman. Ordered a mocha caffe (which is a mocha frappe) over ice. It was pretty good, we had a large which was about 16 ounces. It was $6, which is I guess about average.Check it out and the shop next door called Naomi and Olive.

I absolutely love this local coffee shop! Best coffee in town when compared to other local shops and big chains. No one else compares! Great coffee and atmosphere and the employees are so nice and welcoming.

This is a great place to hang out with friends, or work on your computer. There are lots of tables, so you dont feel rushed either. I had the dark chocolate peppermint mocha which was delicious and enjoyed the awesome Christmas background music while I caught up on emails. Will definitely be back.

Very good drinks with friendly service! I purchase a bird and bean mocha and a s’mores drink and both blew my expectations as I’m a regular at Starbucks. This place just made my better choice to visit! I hope they do perks or a reward program down the road, more people like that about places.

This morning, I had the Bird & Bean Mocha!!It was the absolute BEST Coffee Ive ever had in my life!!Ive had many drinks at Starbucks but they dont even compare! No Lie, No Joke!! Im not kidding!And Im a guy who often adds a lot of things to my coffee, from creamer, to sugar, to honey, to vanilla, etc. But the even greater thing about this drink was that I didnt even have to add anything to it! It comes with all the goodness that I wanted in it! This is now my signature coffee when I look for a good coffee! The employees are great! The environment is so relaxing and I immediately have a sense of tranquility when I sit down! Nothing but great experiences here! Check it out whenever you can!! Without a doubt the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Wonderful drinks, treats, and service, with a better experience each time I visit. I live in Florida and don’t make it to Dothan that often, but when I do I always try and swing by for a Bird and Bean mocha.

I’ve been coming to the shop since February when I came down to assist my Mom. She and I would sit for a spell for a nice cup of coffee and delicious cake. My Mom passed and I came in on that day to get a slice of cake in her memory but I became overwhelmed with grief. The staff was sooo compassionate and gave me hugs and condolences and I LOVE them for that and will never forget them. I’ve been better coming in and when I do they always have my slice for me and know me by name!!! 💕💕💕

If you’re traveling through Dothan for work (like us) or to the beach (like everyone else!), avoid the Circle, make your way downtown, and tucked behind the courthouse you’ll find a great local coffee shop. Stopped on Memorial Day for a cappuccino and a muffin with my wife and picked up some whole bean Armando’s Blend and a bag of Third Shift. These are great folks who take their social distancing seriously and have an open inside area and two bistro tables outside. Don’t miss it

The staff was very kind and very informative! The bathroom was super clean. I had a delicious latte and very much enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. I like that you can sit inside or outside. Its a great place for a date, for meeting somebody new, for having a chat with a girlfriend, or sitting and getting work done on your computer.

Love this place and Im so glad its located in our little downtown! The coffee is great and the service is always friendly. The baked goods are absolutely amazing. I cant resist! They have tea as well. Im a big tea fan. There are a couple tables are outside which is fun when you want to enjoy a coffee and downtown life. Go for a pourover, come back for any of the homemade pastries and treats. Their single origin selection and in-house nitro is always high quality and reasonably priced. With well brewed coffee and a staff which treats customers like family, I cant recommend this place enough.

I never liked coffee until I went to Bird and Bean. Their iced Bird and Bean mocha is THE BOMB. Not to mention their extremely friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, and amazingly fresh and delicious baked goods 😍

The owners of this establishment are top notch, right along with their coffee. I feel welcomed when entering in through the doors. I like how they have kept the history of the building which you can see framed on the walls from the store it originally was Baxters Shoes. A great place to visit in Downtown Dothan.

Great coffee, wifi, and a great atmosphere. I ordered a hot chocolate on a rainy day, one of the best drinks I have had. Their mocha recipe looks great and will try it next time.

A neat spot to go if youre in town. The prices seemed fair for the type of coffee shop, and we enjoy some of their food items too. There is some space and outlets for studying too if thats what youre looking for. Browsing the adjacent shop makes for a fun study break.

It was my 1st time there but I enjoyed the coffee and the fact that we could actually talk and hear each other. There were a good bit of people in there but most of them look like college students with ear phones and computers so it made it nice for us older ladies to be able to sit down and relax, sip in our coffee and just talk quietly. They do have pastries but we had just ate and didnt try any.

Medium roast brew was rich, bold, and smooth. We also had the iced vanilla latte. Espresso complimented the drink well with no burnt aftertaste that you can get with bigger chain coffee shops. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was quiet and quaint.

Great coffee, great service and a perfect downtown atmosphere! There is actually a baker that works there making fresh breads and muffins. Connected to a great gift shop, and has comfortable seating to relax and enjoy the experience. Also has WiFi for those who want to hang out and create.

SO good. It was my first visit, but I will definitely be back! My latte was perfect, and the best Ive had in awhile. It didnt have a bitter taste that most do.

My favorite business in Dothan. Atmosphere cozy, clean, and vintage. Staff not just helpful and efficient, but friendly and hilarious. Owners are lovely, exceptionally kind people. Great variety and excellent quality. Better prices than most coffee shops by far. New varieties of handmade baked goods regularly. I seriously cannot go here too much.

Oh how I wish I worked closer but then again I would be broke because I would be ordering 3 or 4 times a day. They have delicious lattes, yummy muffins and the service is the best there is. Not many local coffee shops can say that!

This is the only coffeehouse I know of in Dothan that offers various types of slow brewing methods like V60,French press and so on. The price is fair for a slow brew. The coffee is very good. The environment is hip, the staff are friendly and want to insure that you love your coffee.

This place has excellent coffee. The staff all seem quite knowledgeable about different styles and pours. The breakfast options are limited but tasty. Ive had a blueberry muffin and banana nut bread. As far as the coffee goes the Ethiopian Kassa Kebena is my absolute favorite. It take a bit to make but it is well worth it. I also enjoyed the blended white chocolate mocha.To nit pick a little they should have alternatives to styrofoam and and plastic silverware.

I liked this place. Definitely an improvement for the Dothan coffee scene since I was here in 2015. Not truly a third wave coffee shop but they try. The baristas didnt know a ton about coffee but the ingredients are there.

Bird & Bean Coffee is a great place to get coffee/ tea and enjoy a ginger peach muffin. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are friendly and quick.
