A year ago, I took my Yamaha jet boat there running, but having some problems. They threw a rod and busted a hole in my crankshaft and cylinders. Then they had the nerve to tell me I needed to buy a new boat.

I purchased a 2018 Tahoe 1950 cash over the phone. Paid for a delivery service to bring it to me in North Carolina. Once the boat arrived it had multiple scratches and galgues that I have fixed with my own money and didn’t ask this company to repair. The boat was shorted the tow line pole that goes into the back of the boat. I have been in contact with “Wayne” for over a month now with promises I would get this. Still nothing. No response. No nothing. Absolute horrible customer service. They get the sale and don’t care after that. Terrible experience. Review by Joshua Thurman.

I just have to brag on the customer service I received today. I called to see if Boyd’s had a part in stock, they did so I drove to pick it up not realizing that there are 2 locations in Dothan. Once I realized my mistake, I called the other location and they were willing to leave the part for me so I could pick it up. I was greeted with a smile when I pulled in by the sweetest gentleman who walked me to where my part had been left. You don’t find many places willing to go above and beyond but Boyd’s definitely did today! Thank you for your amazing service and service with a smile!

Im sure the people that put more than 2 stars are family or friends of the employees that work here. I would love to give this place a half a star. They definitely take advantage of being the only boat dealer in a 100 mile radius. Good thing Ive owned boats before. Sales have no knowledge of the product they sell. I talked to two different sales individuals and had to correct them on boat functionality. All they were trying to do is sale me a more expensive boat. Once boat was purchased, sales told me they guarantee I could flush mount a specific fish/depth finder. Once they realized they couldnt, they just called and left a message saying they just mounted it somewhere on the console without verifying if I wanted a smaller one or asking me where I wanted it mounted. Really do your research on boats and equipment before you talk to their sales reps. Took the boat out and it had engine problems. Took it in, and it was over a week before they even tested the motor on the water. They found the problem, fixed it, and it worked fine. Boat gone for over two weeks for something they couldve done in two days. Get the boat back and it was dirty as can be with marks all over the deck of different colors. I will say the parts department guys are awesome. Props to them. Worst dealership experience I ever had and be very careful purchasing boats from this dealership.

We were on vacation and our outboard stopped working. We callsd and they got us right in no questions ask. Staff was awesome! They were very knowledgeable and friendly.
