Experience was quite pleasant. Salesperson was knowledgeable, informed, and courteous. He knew his stock and was able to convert our questions into simple, understandable answers and information. He was NOT pushy but made his points, emphasized what we were looking for and made the extensive process simple. He was honest and straightforward in his dealings with us. We have bought from company before but 1st time from this store. Joshua Maye was really nice and very informative. He answered every question with specifics and not just yes or no. We planned on just looking. After trying several different ones and the treatment we got we ended up buying Posturepedic® Hybrid Norman 12 Medium Mattress with a adjustable base and 2 pillows. We went to several places in Dothan and decided to go with Mattress Firm. Josh explained the different options and gave us a good deal.We arranged for delivery and ended up having some scheduling issues (on our part), and John (one of the managers) made some phone calls and was able to reschedule within a couple of days!I had an issue with the mattress so I called and spoke with Josh and explained the situation, and without hesitation he offered an exchange or a credit. We decided to take the credit since it was more convenient than trying to schedule all over again. Josh started to process the credit while I was still on the phone.The mattress is very comfortable!Great customer service! I’ll be back for another set knowing our purchase will be covered if we’re not satisfied.

The sales man in the Dothan, AL store was great he helped my wife and choose the correct mattress and we were happy with the delivery date, with that being said the week before the delivery i had received two text messages from the warehouse and two phone calls to confirm the delivery of our mattress, base and the FRIO mattress cover. We were ready to receive the delivery and when the truck backed into our drive we were excited to finally get our new mattress, when the delivery guy handed me the mattress cover he said thanks and was ready to leave. I asked him about the mattress and base and he had no idea what i was talking about, someone in the warehouse didnt do their job and didnt load the mattress or base they sent a 28 foot box truck to deliver a 5 pound box now we are having to wait to receice our mattress and base because the people that scheduled deliveries cant take the time to read delivery manifests and load the proper places even after the system tells them what is supposed to be delivered and when. They really need to look at possibly replacing these people with someone that takes the time to do their job correctly.

Prices are competitive. After shopping around we decided to purchase from Mattress Firm. I would like to see the mask mandate be more encouraged in this location. The person I worked with had his laying on the desk. When I asked if the mask was required, he stated it is but he didn’t care for it but he would put it on for me. Oddly he didn’t want to protect himself or me as a customer as mine was on the entire time. I wanted to purchase some of the additional items he suggested but I didn’t feel safe in that store environment as other customers came in with no mask and they were not asked to put one on.

My wife and I had a very pleasant experience buying a mattress. The salesman was knowledgeable and did not pressure us into making any decisions or rush us in anyway! Highly recommend!

Great customer service.The two staff members we encountered (Cody and John) very knowledgeable of each and every mattress we tried which was a majority of them before find “the one” which was just right for myself and my better half. The only negative is the mattress we liked was not in stock and we have to wait about 6 days to get it. Other than that I/we are happy with the service we received.

My 86 year old mother bought a mattress and paid 1400.00 she used her stimulus debit card to pay for it. Mattress Firm failed to deliver the mattress after 2 months. My mother asked John Powell to cancel the order and refund her money. John Powell said he could only put money back on her debit card. But the debit card is non reloadable and she no longer has the card. John Powell is refusing to return her money. He is saying that Mattress Firm can not issue her a refund check for the mattress they failed to deliver. I tried to contact the corporate office but no one is available to speak with you unless you want to buy a mattress. They say they have no way to pull up the invoice nor can they offer any help. One girl said she would have someone call us back and that was over a week ago. DO NOT go to this store!!!! John Powell is a thief along with the company he works for!!! I would give this business 0 stars if it were an option.

Cody was an outstanding help. I honestly did not have the time to travel to Dothan to do business in the store as we live 60 miles away. It was my decision to upgrade to a higher quality mattress, and I am glad I did it, and we got free next-day delivery.I have not slept well in over a decade. Since the first night this king-sized bed has been in our house, I have the best nights sleep I can remember. The product has been great so far. I would recommend it to others, but it is Cody Mays who deserves the most credit. I was tentative about buying a bed sight unseen, but his no-nonsense, professional but personal, telephone presence gave me the confidence to trust him. I am glad that I did. This is a young man represented himself and his company very well.

Bought a king size mattress and an adjustable base. Picked up the mattress first, had to wait a couple days to come after the base. When I got the base home it looked a little small so I measured it. It was 60” x 80” - queen size. I haven’t been this angry in months.

I can not express how good of an experience I had at this Mattress Firm. I always hate shopping for these type of household things and they took the stress out of the entire process. The staff was so helpful with keeping my two kids entertained and happy so my wife and I could find the perfect mattress. They were focused on making sure we were educated and happy with the bed we chose, compared to other places that seem to be focused on just selling you anything.
