My appointment started promptly on time and all of the staff were very nice. Dr. Humps was so thorough and funny. She made the experience great and answered all my questions. Faye at the front desk was so wonderful!! She really worked with me and made me feel good at the end of the visit. I was able to get a quick appointment, everything addressed in one day, and all for an excellent price! Highly recommend without a doubt. The glasses selection is also wonderful.

I went to have my eyes checked and after I picked my glasses, I was told by the staff person Karima that I had a copay of $15 and it would cost $100 to add transition lenses ...and after I said I didnt have any money until August 3rd, the manager Joyce offered to pay my co pay ...and a woman sitting next to me heard our conversation and she offered to pay my total bill which came to $163... she said something just hit her to pay my bill... so I am so thankful to the Most High and give him all honor and glory for what he is doing in my life and for that miracle blessing he gave to us today...

I had my eyes checked and was fitted for my glasses, by Ms. Joyce Thomas (the manager, didnt know it at the time), she was so patient with me. She never once appeared as if she would be glad when I find a pair. [ must have tried on about fifteen (15 ) with her help, anothet staff and patient ] I found the one.Then when it came to the bill with all my questions about this, that and why not. She sat there and answer ever question so professional and with a smile, never in a hurry. Not that was good customer service.Now when I went to pick up the glasses, I had eye surgery on my left eye, and Icouldnt see out of the glasses, Ms . Thomas, said dont worry just wait til your eye heals and come back. Well two (2) months later I returned and I had surgery on the other eye. Again I couldnt see with the glasses I had chosen, . a Ms. Thomas stated, why dont you have the doctor that did your surgery give you a prescription for the type of glasses you need, then you will not have this problem.I did just that, gave her the prescription, but then she was unable then to locate the glasses, I had paid for. She said not to worry, but give me time to loceted them snd I will make sure theyre right when you come back She was true to her word, when I got the call I received my glasses.All was well for about two (2) weeks then, the screw came out. I contacted Ms. Thomas well I could hear/see that she was not very happy about it. However, she was not going to give up, you see the style I had they didnt make any more so we had to find another pair and we did for the same price.Today I can see with my new glasses and I am so, so happy with them. I would never go anywhere else to get glasses. I strongly recommend that everyone go to Henry Ford hospital OptimEyes Detroit main campus. The staff is great, best customer service ever. I saw and heard how other staff treated the people that came in for service, they were friendly but professional at all times.However, Ms. Joyce Thomas, stand out above them all, reason as much as she did for me, she has excellence customer service skills and goes above and beyond the call of duty. This place saved my eyes. I went into one of their locations late at night because I had suddenly lost vision and they sent me straight over to this hospital and we immediately made an action plan. I had a detached retina which they made sure to work on asap. Staff was super friendly which made my anxiety go down a lot. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

I broke my frames a few days ago. When I went to the Clinton Township Office (Gratiot), they informed me that the frame was not in stock and suggested that I go to HFH Main Campus (W Grand Blvd). I was greeted by Faye and Joyce who within 15 minutes of arriving, had my frames replaced. The glasses fit perfectly so there was no need for an adjustment. God bless them both for the fine work they performed. I hope to use them again for my next pair this Fall.

After visiting here, I am making Henry Ford OptimEyes at the Detroit Main Campus my one-stop-shop for everything contacts and eyeglasses related! I felt safe despite the pandemic during my visit. My tech, Keith, was personable, knowledgeable, and efficient in his tasks while also making sure all of my questions were answered. Dr. Harmon made my visit quick and easy. I even brought my favorite pair of glasses that broke since quarantine, and Kaprice fixed them perfectly and handed them back to me clean and ready for wear. They have a nice selection of eyeglasses (though I would love to see Prada frames in the future!) and everyone was really friendly. Even the billing process was painless and not awkward. I am looking forward to coming back!

I went in the store with a question only. I had a broken frame on some sun glasses. I was not sure whether it is reparable. The manager, Ms. Joyce, gave me good advise about how to salvage the lenses as the frame was unusable. I brought another frame the next day and Kaprice installed it for me free of charge. I had gone in the store with questions and glasses for repair previously and Kaprice had been very helpful then also. I will definitely be back in OptimEyes!

This is the first time I have ever written a review.I took my husband in for eye exam on 4/27/21. I met a young lady named Nesrean Albanna. Her customer service was Phenomenal. Not only did my husband enjoy his experience there, but I too end up having an eye exam and I am waiting as well on my NEW pair of Glasses . Customer service here was really good. The woman that greeted me was kind, Royal was detailed and professional, Dr. Humes answered my (plenty of) questions thoroughly, and Joe helped my find glasses Im actually excited about. Im new to glasses so had no idea what to expect with this appointment, but I felt really welcomed and taken care of at this location. Only drawback was the wait, but this is understandable with COVID-precautions in place.

COVID-19 protocol was excellent. The tech and Dr. Harmon were helpful and efficient. Ms. Brooks at the front desk was knowledgeable about insurance and got my contact lens order and payment processed quickly.

I was so happy to have Faye greet me at the front desk. I had a long walk from my parking space. She greeted me with a smile that was bright and her voice cheerful I am very happy with the service that I received.

I spent $400.00 on a pair of progressive lenses that require me to clean them several times a day, because they look as if I have intentionally smeared them. The reading part is not very clear, the frame was too heavy and tight. I don’t know if it’s a bad prescription, poor workmanship or the quality of the material,but this seems to be the norm.

This is definitely the place to get your glasses from whether you wear them on a regular basis or you havent worn them in 30 years like me, the staff is incredibly friendly, crispy, accurate, and really created a great environment to create confidence with your eyes, I highly recommend theses folks, the entire staff was excellent and Kaprice helped me many times and was exceptional run in here and get your eyes checked today!

He ended up showing me a few other pairs that actually fit my face and personality. He was honest with his feedback and made sure I had frames that actually fit my face.
