My husband and I stumbled in here one night after dinner at the Detroit shipping co. Fantastic selection of beer (and other alcohol)! We had so much fun looking around- we ended up grabbing a draft and staying a while. They let us take a 2 ciders out of a 4 pack and iced them for us while we had a draft to start. Cool spot to grab a drink or find a unique beer to go!

Cool little bar with a relaxed atmosphere. They have nearly every craft beer produced in stock along with many on draft. They even had brunch set up which smelled great! The owner was walking around talking to customers and bringing water by which was great also. Next time we are in Detroit, we will be back and stocking up on beer. Great place!

This place is great! Really solid selection both in the store and the bar and a great vibe of people who are just into beer. We did have a bartender once who seemed a little put out by every order, but people have rough days and that hasnt been our experience otherwise.

Great selection of bottles and cans with taps and seating in the back. A good option to grab a drink with a cool atmosphere. I feel like 8 degrees of Plato is somewhat underrated when it comes to grabbing a drink. They have a good selection of singles which are individually priced. They are a little on the pricey side but a great place to go to find those hard to find bottles.

Of your looking for that rare expensive European cheese that you just cant get at Kroger, 8 Degrees os the place for you. Aged Gouda for44$ a pound!!! They even gave me a free sample.( tasted like 44 dollar gouda) There is also a nice selection of charcuterie and other meats. The staff was super cool, and I even had a 30 min conversation with the deliman about Weezers Blue album. They also have rare and expansive chocolate too.

Went here on Friday for a vegan pop up food shop and had a great experience. Friendly staff, great music and games. Thought they closed at 10, we and a few other stayed to 11:30. I plan on returning!!!Plus it is dog friendly!

This place has the best variety of beer around. And the fact that they let you create your own 6-pack from anything in the store (if the can/bottle isnt loose, just take what you want and they figure it out) is the best. I am glad we finally made it to the Detroit location as we used to frequent their Ferndale location until they closed.Also, they do free tastings every Friday from 6-8PM of a certain company who is there to tell you about their product which is always nice.

Great selection. Theres about 15 tapped beers and they have a cooler with local and craft favorites and well as shelved beer options. You can bring outside food in, it is dog-friendly, and the staff is helpful. I love this place.

Great place to meet up for a drink, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They give excellent recommendations. Great place to go if you need a gift for a beer lover. My only gripe: I think the Ferndale location has slightly better/wider selection, but it wouldnt surprise me to learn thats because the Detroit location has more traffic. Dont discount the bar here, they always have something interesting on tap.

I stopped in here on my way back from a business trip to pick up some Michigan local beers.The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and were very helpful. They allow you to break up any 6-Pack in the store, which is really cool and nice for someone who likes to sample lots of different beers.The pint and growler selection is also very good. The neighborhood around the shop seems a little sketchy though.

This place is stunning. Location is prime off of Cass, the beer selection is LITERALLY unrivaled, and tonight there was this pop-up called Beer & Cheese with Megan Louise...Wow. That girl has some amazing food, and the fact that this establishment hosted her was just a tribute to the Detroit love for your fellow Detroiter. 5 stars all the way. Loved the idea of this place! Great selection and distribution. The workers were more than accommodating and im sure they would be somewhat helpful to people not involved in the craft beer scene. That being said, they did seem very involved in talking between themselves and to the one regular customer who came in and totally abandoned us in the shop mid question. Still good selection though.
