Mike was super helpful and always pleasant on the phone, and he made scheduling my service very easy. I dropped my car off for rear brakes and cabin/engine air filter replacement at 8am and had it back by 4pm the same day. The cost was very reasonable and the service was outstanding. This place is the ONLY place to take your vehicle. Mike and the guys are as honest as they come. we needed a car battery, and they were cheaper than autozone. I got the battery from them and he helped me install the battery at no extra charge. Their prices are cheaper than anybody else around. These are the guys you want for cheap and honest service. If you want professional and overpriced, then take it to the dealership!

Fantastic auto shop. I dont normally do extensive reviews on auto shops but these guys deserve one!1. Hard to Beat Price: I needed spark plugs replaced on my 15 Outback and Pointe Auto Tech came in at a price less than four other auto shops that I called in the area.2. Friendly Service: Mike was pleasant to work with. Ive been to auto shops in several states and these guys are the friendliest Ive come across!3. Great Quality of work: Mike went above and beyond on my vehicle. He replaced the spark plugs and found that my air filter was dirty so he replaced that as well. I took the Outback on a cross state trip and have zero issues. I even managed to get slightly better gas mileage! (Granted, the spark plugs replaced had nearly 110k miles on them, oops)4. Transparency: Mike showed me the spark plugs he replaced and the dirty air filter. It was a very nice touch that the shop was so transparent in their work.

Fixed my vehicle, in a timely manner and very professional

I was at a decision point with my 2008 Ford Edge, having been told by the local Ford dealer that it looked like it was going to need some work on a few fronts. Of course, it would have cost me hundreds of dollars just to find out exactly what was wrong with my car and how much the dealer would charge to fix it. I talked with Mike, the owner at Pointe Auto Tech, and explained my situation. He got me in fairly quickly and gave me a thorough and transparent analysis of my car. After having a comprehensive discussion with Mike, I moved forward on the repairs (front brakes, front suspension links and axle seal), which were priced very fairly and done quite professionally.Bottom Line: Pointe Auto Tech is now my new go to auto repair facility!

I am very thankful that I live less than a couple of miles away from Pointe AutoTech. Mike and the guys in his garage are knowledgeable, dependable, skilled, and more importantly honest. I went here to get my front brakes done. They were in bad shape. Mike and his team did a great job replacing my brakes, and now all issues I once had are gone! This is by far the best auto repair shop in the area. Top-of-the-line and exceptional quality work for very reasonable prices. Theyre not afraid of challenges, either. I was referred to them by a friend who owns a rare vehicle, which other shops in the area refused to touch, but these guys were more than willing to work on it. I too have a (now) rare car, and they helped me get it back to perfect working order. Very honest and dependable people. A long review but worth the read. I first came to the shop in tears because after a horrible week and day getting home my car would not shift into park. The guys with the facial piercing (dont know his name), did his magic and got car into park and did the proper repair once parts came in. Mike did not like how the 1st used looked and said he wouldnt put that in my car. That alone is above outstanding. Reasonably priced. I asked about another issue were I was quoted $450 for catalytic converter job, Mike called back with the repair only being $100. Some else was trying to rip me off. Scheduled the second repair, which I appreciate because I didnt have to wait and wait and be told tomorrow. Mike was conscious enough to know he had a lot of work scheduled for the Monday so told me to come on that Tuesday, smartest move Ive ever seen by a shop owner. I am a very impatient person and hate being without my car, I somehow was calmed with Mike, and knew it my car was in good hands. I was a mechanic with my father before and during my military service, with injuries no longer can do the work so Im very glad to have a shop I can trust. I am a life time customer.

Long overdue review, however I have never had such a pleasant experience at an auto shop before. My muffler fell off and instead of getting charged $800+ at a shop nearby, Mike created a muffler for me for pennies compared to that and had it done within two days.He event sent me photos of what it looked like before and after. I will *not* be going to anyone else. Theres a reason he has 5-star reviews.Thank you, Mike!

I recently went up to Pointe Auto Tech for the first time based on their great ratings for what I thought was a needed brake job. After Mike looked at my car, he said the brakes are fine and that the noise was simply a bent dust cover rubbing against the rotor that he quickly adjusted for me... Wow, his honesty is priceless! Im so impressed with this place and with the staff. They replaced the clutch on my car two weeks ago and it operates like new. The price was almost 200 dollars cheaper than quoted at three other area shops. Plus the job was done half a day quicker than expected. Great job.The kicker happened today though. I brought my car in thinking it needed a rear wheel bearing. They ordered the part and I dropped it off. I come back to pick it up and they told me no I didnt need a wheel bearing. Apparently my tire was chopping against the shock which was causing the noise I heard. They replaced the tire with the one I already had in my trunk, patched the hole in it, and fixed the issue! 40 bucks was all it cost!They could easily have replaced the bearing and fixed the tire and charged me More than was estimated but they chose to be honest instead. Now they have a customer for life. Im a woman and we regularly get charged more than men at mechanic shops, not this place. Im so happy. Thanks guys!

Used Mike for first time today because my brother swore by the work he had done on his car.. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a auto shop. My Catalytic Converter has been stolen by a crackhead while I was working up at the hospital. Mike took care of the issue in less than 2 hours for a super respectable price. Being female has put me at the mercy of a wide variety of auto technicians. Pointe Auto, in particular, Mike has restored my faith when it comes to finding an honest repair facility, especially when working on the older vehicle. His place of business was put on the radar for me when the dealership actually refused to work on my van. The tow driver who was not allowed to even unhook the vehicle was directed to Pointe Auto. It was a blessing in disquise. At every turn they have gone out of their way to insure that I could get back on the road safely. I am greatly indebted to their great professional service. Fair prices, expert quick service, down to earth guys. I had someone else work on my car and they butchered my breaks the owner at Pointe Auto did everything to help me fix the problem at the cheapest price, he even salvaged some of the parts the butcher didnt totally mangle..these guys are trustworthy and i like that.

The guy with the piercings in his face ( I didn’t get his name) was great! He was able to diagnose my problem within 10 mins and didn’t even charge me an inspection fee! Definitely a lifetime customer!

I took my Tarus show in to get breaks and rotors done. When I got my car back my stering system was shot I need toe links and an alighnment and at the ford dealer i took it to said its not even drivable.They ended up trying to charge me over $1000.00 for a part. The mechanic told me I would have never given it back to you that way and said thats all they could do for me. Im thinking about getting a lawyer. This is just plain wrong. I would never ever take my car back up there and I wouldnt suggest anyone else does.

Went to this place because of the rating. More expensive than a place closer to me and took nearly 6 hours to do an alignment and oil change. And the alignment is still off, but the oil change was free for first time customers. Hard to find a good auto shop, and this is not the place.

Im from out of town & Kris helped me out big time when my car wouldnt start. Would totally bring my cars here if I was a local.
