Had my (totaled) car towed here after an accident today. They were very professional and helped explain to me how the insurance works. They were also kind enough to insist I stay inside the lobby while I waited for my ride since it was cold/rainy outside, even though it was past 5pm so they were technically closed. Sam called me from metro tech to let me know that he had my vehicle and he inform me off all the damages and told me i could pick up my vehicle in a week and not to worry about anything. When I picked my truck up a week later I was helped by a mechanic named Myron and he too was also very friendly he got my truck and they had it looking brand new and Myron also came out and looked at my Ford Fusion the windshield has a crack and he told me that they can repair that in a day just let them know whenever I was ready to have it repaired. I must say this establishment was very clean to be a collision shop and everyone was very nice and professional this is a very reasonable reliable repair shop and I really like the way they caters to all of their customers that was in their waiting area every one seemed pleased I know that I was definitely pleased and just overwhelmed I would recommend them to all of Michigan 💞

My air conditioner had no cool air coming out the vents so I took it to the dealership because I had a warranty only to be told that I would have to leave it for a day and if it wasnt covered I would be responsible for the $108 diagnostic fee and I called Sam down at Metrotech and he said bring it in and I did and this is by far the cleanest and professional mechanic shops that o have ever visited. They got me in and out within an hour the waiting room was very clean they had fresh coffee every one one was nice and very friendly any staff that came in the waiting area asked if you were being helped I really recommend this business to anyone with car troubles they get you in and out and they do outstanding work. Im one satisfied happy customer😊

Brought in my car for some repairs before turning in my leased vehicle. The manager Mike gave me a very reasonable estimate so I had them do the work. During the repair, they noticed a few more scratches that I was likely going to get dinged for when I turned my car in and they offered to buff them out free of charge. Made my lease turn-in process very easy. Hopefully I won’t need to come back for my new car, but if I do need to, I definitely will.

James and Sam are THEE best, any issues I had was never a problem that they couldnt solve. Ive dealt with them on 2 separate occasions and each time was a pleasure. The repairs were excellent! They do very good, affordable quality work with a lifetime warranty and the staff is very friendly & accommodating.

Metro Tech was EXCELLENT. My car was hit while parked. Metro Tech didnt know me or had seen my car. They had my car towed to them and put me in a rental. My car ended up being totaled out they never called me and keep paying for the rental for 10 days. The staff there was very nice, helpful and very professional. The shop was clean not what you think of when you think of car shop. I will recommend them and if I ever need some work done on my car I will give them my business and they have never worked on my car. Just the way they handled bussiness they have a customer.

I honestly cannot believe the high reviews this place gets. My experience was terrible from start to finish.To start, I am a mid 30s young professional living downtown. I was hit in an intersection in a hit-and-run about a mile from this shop, and was able to limp it over there. It had some of the best reviews in the entire metro area, so having it down the street from my building seemed convenient. My vehicle was a late-model BMW that was very well taken care of... Im not sure if the standard of repair is just lower in Detroit or what, but these guys do NOT know how to take care of a nicer car.When I dropped it off, I told them that Id been planning to get it detailed and asked if I could pay them to do it, since it was a bodyshop. They said there was no need, they detail every car. I was extremely skeptical of this and specifically asked if it was a full wash, polish, wax, etc. They said yes. I asked if they were sure. They said yes. I left surprised and went on my way.The time to repair the car took ages- weeks and weeks to repair a back bumper and rear wheel. They kept blaming the wheel company for the delay, while I kept paying $40 a day for a rental. Eventually the wheel came in- in the wrong color.When I finally returned to pick up the car, there were spots from the accident that had not even been buffed out (were talking obvious large white scuffs on black paint that were specifically listed on the insurance invoice,) and the paint that wasnt supposed to be touched/wasnt part of the accident was in horrible shape. It was also dirty as hell. I spoke to the owner/manager who told me they only wash the car, and looked at me like an idiot when I explained his person up front had promised a full detail. Then he agreed to polish it for me... except... he had his guy take 15 minutes to polish my DIRTY car, which ruined the paint even further as he ground dirt into the clear coat.I drove the car away and jumped on the lodge to test it. The traction control was flashing at me like crazy, and the car didnt drive straight. I brought it straight back to the shop. They said it probably needed an alignment... HOW do you not check the alignment on the car that was just hit dead on in the rear wheel?! They had it aligned the next day by some other shop down the street... something that probably could have been done while we waited 3 weeks for a single wheel to come in.As an additional gesture, the manager offered to change the oil for free. Two months later, I had to take the car into BMW with oil leaking all over the engine and a warning light citing low oil. The cause? An improperly installed oil filter from my free oil change. I sold the car two months later because I completely lacked confidence in the quality of any of the repairs.If you have a car that you care ANYTHING about, Id highly discourage you from bringing it here. Unless you really like being called boss. Then its great.

My sister in law had her car repaired here after being sideswiped. The paint matched well, however I couldnt believe how poorly the interior was reassembled. The a pillar trim was hanging down, seat belt anchor bolt for the shoulder belt was not tight. Also the passenger side door panel was not seated correctly on the door and rattled badly. I cant speak for her but after seeing her car and fixing their laziness, I wouldnt take my vehicle there.

Metrotech came highly recommended by our usual mechanic who doesn’t do body work and I’m so glad we went here. Everyone we interacted with was extremely kind and the work was A+ quality.Also, they detailed the inside of my car and bless them for that, because my car is always a mess.Definitely recommend them.

So its all true... These guys do a great job, they go above and beyond. I needed my left fender replaced per a minor accident. I paid for just the fender work but they took care of the ugly mark on my door as well, no additional cost. Metro Tech Collision went above and beyond my expectations. My 2009 Ford Escape hasnt looked this good since the year I bought it. They detailed the inside of my vehicle which was in desperate need of a cleaning. I highly recommend these guy and would definitely get my vehicle serviced there again if needed. As a bonus they gave me some gas money. Great job, great service!

I was referred to this place after my tires was stolen and window and shifter broken, I dealt with a guy named Sam and it took awhile for me to get my car back but it was worth the wait my car rides better then it did when I had it and they even waived my deductible this is by far the best collision and body shop in the city ! I’m referring everyone and going to start coming here for routine maintenance .

I have to say that hands down Metro Tech Collision is one of THE BEST auto service places that I have ever had an experience with. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, efficient and through. I called the day before I took my car, and the next day they took my car first thing in the morning, took me to work, serviced my car during the day and had it ready to go before 5pm that same afternoon. I was also impressed with the fact that I had taken my car to 3 other service places before to fix a noise coming from my engine and they could not find the issue, but Metro Tech found right it away! When I got my car back from them they had washed it and cleaned the inside- which was a disaster from the accident. I was so happy they did that! Man after 40 years of dealing with a whole lot of collision shops I can’t shout out loud enough about the incredible people and service this place has. They treated me like a VIP in the worst of times after an accident on I 75 in the horrid construction. Had the rental car guy waiting, let me work out the insurance claim on the spot and best of all did a hell of a great job getting my car fixed up. After one vehicle was rear-ended and another damaged in a storm, MetroTech flawlessly repaired both cars...the customer service and end results were stellar. Both cars are like new! I dont pass out recommendations lightly, but this is worth every word!

Had my cv shaft and ball joints “replaced” on both sides. Had to take it back 2 times and just had one Ball joint crack today. Would not recommend this place work was done only a month and a half ago.

I had my car towed there 3 weeks ago with my shock broken away from my wheel well due to rust. There was zero communication. I was told I would receive a phone call when my car got there and nothing. Waited 3 days to just call myself. They blamed the insurance and insurance blamed them not contacting them. After another 5 days I called and they said insurance denied the claim.... that’s fine. Now I asked for my own estimate they said they would call me back. 3 days later no call so I called them to which they said they would call me back in a hour after giving me excuses. I waited and no call. That was a Wednesday, so I call them on the following Monday (today) for them to tell me they cannot Fix my car which is absolutely not true and then the man on the phone talking to me like I’m bothering him.So after 3 weeks and 2 dozen uber rides in my life I am still left with a broken down car. Thanks guys.Unprofessional, Complacent, Zero communication, Rude and plain lazy. Would never recommend because they probably wouldn’t get to the job let alone a simple estimate.

I had a accident that tore up the left back bumper of my 2009 Mercury Millan. I was sure that I was going to need the entire bumper replaced (sensor and all), from previous quotes I had gotten. They were able to repair my bumper entirely for close to nothing in one day. The shop is spotless clean, and safe, they operate with a high level of professionalism. These guys know their stuff, they are amazing at fixing cars. Highly recommend this place for body work, why waste time and money going anywhere else? Im all for supporting local businesses, especially when I receive OUTSTANDING customer service and Metrotech Collision provides nothing but that.A few weeks back I got into a car accident on my way downtown, damaging my front fender and drivers side door. Instead of towing the car back to a family friends shop the tow service gentleman recommended this place. It was more convenient to keep the car downtown, so after a great first impression I decided to take a chance on these guys.Even though they werent certified through my insurance they still agreed to work with me and waived my deductible. The repair was estimated to take no more than a week. Not only were they VERY efficient in their timing but also complimented me to one of their loaner vehicles at zero charge. They did such an incredible job on the repair, in addition went out of their way to wash the exterior and detail the interior, exceeding all of my expectations. For anyone looking for a well-trusted body shop I highly recommend their services. Theyll take great care of you.

This is by far the Best collision shop I have ever dealt with. They were so nice not to mention they made my car look like brand NEW.They even gave me money to cover my rental car for an extra 2 days when it was not there fault that was car was not ready on time. They told me i could drop off my car at 9.30 AM, they had my car taken back into their shop ready to work on by 9.30 AM sharp! They also have very friendly & helpful employees. After my vehicle was recovered, this shop was chosen by me after being recommended by someone at Nationwide. I can attest to the fact, that when your vehicle is serviced here - itll be returned to you in great condition. However, as far as the experience goes there were some things I felt should be improved. First, it took them until the second week of November to complete the repairs. So factor from October 2nd - November 9th, until everything was finally completed. I wasnt involved in a collision or anything so fortunately, there wasnt too much that needed to be done. Neither was the vehicle stripped, some replacements and minor cosmetic repairs was all that was needed (One new window, 4 tires & wheels etc.) But their time of completion just kept getting pushed further out. Also, I brought the vehicle back a second time so they could address an oversight from the first repair (One mechanical, one cosmetic). They were able to rectify those issues successfully and I was satisfied as an end result. But the consistent delay for completion is what led to my frustration; besides, rental fees during the first repair werent cheap.

After taking my vehicle to a different shop and was refused of service due to shop wanting advanced payment, I called Metrotech and Sam the owner was willing to repair my car with open arms and did a outstanding job with the repair plus detailed my car to perfection. I highly recommend this shop to everyone.

Theses guys are great, the whole staff..for this particular problem ( myron & james)I had my stolen rims replaced by them; well one of my rims started to peel after 10 months..they took a look at and had it replaced ( no questions asked)
