Ali and James were amazing.They went above and beyond for me. Great price and customer service, and EXTREMELY FAST turn around time. Everything I asked for they made it happen. I did not take any before pics because I was so hurt how my car looked but James is the GOAT when it comes to fixing cars not only was my outside falling apart, I messed up some critical pieces that he put in brand new.... I knew if I went to the dealership I wouldve paid $5,000+ instead of the under $2,000 I did..!! Car was fixed in 4 days I couldnt ask for anyone better.... Definitely would recommend

TRUTH TIME: I took my vehicle to checker collision because it is very close to my home, and I read positive reviews by multiple females, BUT I am more than disappointed with both the service, and the lack of respect for me. I have a high end vehicle... They convinced me to not go through the insurance and pay them cash. I did. When the simple repair was not done correctly, I had to return the car five times. Every time, they made me feel as though I was harassing and bothering them. There was so much wind coming in through my driver side door that I couldn’t even hear the other person in the car when she was trying to talk to me. Rather than take my concern seriously, or even drive the vehicle to hear the noise themselves, they made multiple excuses and finally “fixed” it in front of me without removing the door to do it right. I know from experience never to trust anyone that says they will do you a favor. So that’s why I expect quality work when I pay full price!I’ve already made an appointment to take the car somewhere else and have it fixed correctly. Save yourself a headache and take your car to Collex or a well known shop where you will get a computerized print out/invoice and have certified people working on your car that take pride in their work (and be clean...so damn dirty there)So much for trying to keep my business local.*** I’m editing my review in response to the owner. No. I never did not leave happy. I made it clear to you, and anyone who reads my review can understand that. Ladies, if you like gaslighting like this along with the bad work, take your car here. Calling someone out on bad work and holding them accountable does not make you crazy, no matter how many emojis they use. I’ve already had the door fixed by a different shop. It’s lined up correctly and looks great.

I had a dent in my door that the dealer quoted $4,500 to repair, basically replacing the whole door. I have good insurance, but I thought it was crazy so I looked for an auto body shop that would take a more practical approach. Two days and $850 later, my door was repaired and sure, if I look for it I can tell where repair is, but no one else would ever notice it and I avoided some of my $1,000 deductible and an increase in my car insurance because of the claim. Very practical outcome. Most importantly, the guy was reliable and he delivered a better outcome than he led me to expect.

The guys at Checker Collision are great! Fair cost and timeline for body repair and genuinely kind people. I was rear ended and my vehicle needed frame work. I had previously received ridiculously high quotes from several other repair shops who claimed it would take at least a month. I had my car back in less than a week, and looking great, all for a very fair price. I will be back for any other repair work I need in the future. I only wish I had thought to take a before/after pic to share.

This is the place. These guys are honest, experienced and great to work with. I got quotes from at least 3 other places and they came back with the best price and did a phenomenal job. Paint matched the car perfectly and they got it done quickly. Always great supporting a local business, especially when they do a better job than the dealers.

Hands down the best auto body shop in Detroit. The mechanics communication was awesome-- they continuously kept me updated on my car and, once the car was finished, I made out like a bandit. Super cheap!

Checker Collision gave me the best value for replacing my Nissans exterior walls after a collision with a deer. I had compared prices with other services, and this was the best value around. If you have car insurance, then you will hardly have to pay out of pocket here.

Excellent place with wonderful service. I needed a new bumper on my Volvo, and Ali and James went out of their way to find a bumper for 50% of the dealership cost. The paint job is beautiful, and they got it done very quickly. I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else!

James made my car good as new. I came in after two accidents with damage to the front end and side of my car. Now you can’t even tell that I was ever in an accident. What I appreciated most is that James was willing to work with me, phasing out the repairs over several days but allowing me to take my car home in between because I still needed to use it to get to and from work. My friends have commented that the car looks great. Nobody likes paying for car repairs, but I felt like the price was very reasonable.

This place is amazing. My bumper was loose on one side and I came to Wills to get a second opinion after being quoted $900 at another body shop. For under $100 they fixed the problem AND cleaned my car. The service is fantastic, and Romeo is the best.

Way over price

My car got crash and I searched on internet to look for a collision shop. The Checker Collision was the one I choose just because it was nearest from my apartment. I came to the shop and met Ali. He quoted me about the price and I felt it was a good deal, so I decided to fix my car there. The services were quick, nice and good. Beside, they also helped me to fix other dents and replaced tail light for me when I asked them as an extra stuff and of course, no more additional charge. I am very satisfied with Ali and his employer. Thank so much. I appreciate it.

I got tired of those cart gouges & door dings, so I took my car to Checker Collision. James matched the paint beautifully! I couldnt even tell that it was even scratched & there wasnt even a trace of the gouges. The price was fair too!

They made my 2004 Crown Victoria look new again with a fresh paint job and even went above and beyond by repairing some dents.
