Excellent service, 5 star and above. I wanted to get this android bluetooth stereo installed in my car. I brought it elsewhere, along with the double din kit and a wire harness. This shop worked with me. Great customer service.So happy I discovered Detroit sound station !!!I came up there Friday at 925am, waited patiently, they where done 1250pm. They tested out the audio, the guy told me the audio was great, he told me where the gps and usb connector was located, and gave me a receipt. I will only recommend this place. I tested it myself, they installed it excellent, looks firm and in place. Everything functions brilliantly with ease, love it.I went thru loops beforehand. I went to Mickey shorrs. They told me they cant do it, didnt have brackets, kit too big, the stereo will fall back, its low quality, just wow. Went to abc Warehouse, they said they cant do it. Dude told me they dont work with third party products. Tried to advise me to buy their stereos instead. Other shops, booked for weeks and months. Never take no for an answer.Go to this shop, they are good at what they do!!!July, 23, 2021

ON A QUICK NOTE LOOK AT THE PICTURES I POSTED AND READ THE CAPTIONS EXPLAINING WHATS GOING ON!Nigerian Please explains them in 2 words.I went to Motor City Tunes to buy an EQ, because they wanted $150 installed on a actual $40 Walmart brand EQ they sell.They were shocked that I went there, (they have a great track record on the reviews), but it was too late, I was committed.From the first day of install I had pretty well been plagued with problems, they never went away, they lied to my face and underestimated my intelligence. They kept trying to pull one over on me, I had to supervise and even become part of the installation (mostly at the other store, thank God Rumsey was sick I couldnt stand to look at his chump a$$ face lying to me anymore), ridiculous doesnt even begin to explain the situation.Id rather pay someone to kick me in the bag, I could have done a better job myself if I was back in VA.I could have paid a Union Carpenter to build my box cheaper, they are a lot more expensive, but their skill level would cut countless hours off of the operation.Ive got some serious time and money trying to make this job professional now, mostly because it was carpeted to hide the extremely poor build.From the box, to the wire job, the battery install, and the cheapest products they could get away with, you will be making a huge mistake going here, unless you like paying $60 for a pair of $20 RCA cables.Junk.

Quality work but I was over charged for a radio. I came to to get speakers installed that I purchased online & was frowned upon because I didn’t purchase from the shop. Then was told that the radio that I’ll purchased from Sound Station 2 years ago was no good & needed a new radio for the new speakers. I like their work but they’re money hungry & overcharge when you bring your own products for installments. Yesterday was the worst experience I had with them. I will not “Ever” return for service.

I bought a custom made box from them a few years ago. Came out good. I called today and simply asked were they booked? First I got hung up on and then I called back and the dude had a complete attitude and told me every shop in the state of Michigan is booked... I just hung up on the lame ..

I was very disappointed with my experience with sound station. I paid for an aftermarket Pioneer touchscreen radio and installation for my Escalade. I was assured multiple times beforehand that my factory backup camera would still work with the new radio. I was told the truck was done later that day and when I went to pick it up the back up camera wasn’t working and neither were the volume controls. I brought the truck back and was assured yet again that they would get my back up camera working. Finally Sound Station concluded they couldn’t figure out the problem and offered to install an aftermarket camera for an additional charge. I agreed. The aftermarket camera they installed was horrible! Not only did they not install it in the spot where they factory camera was but they made a hole in my bumper without my permission, but the camera was placed so high it shows more of the bumper than the surroundings when backing up. It also does not work at night or in the rain and is cheap and just pretty much useless. I called back up to the shop and left three messages for the owner and never received a call back. I told the owner from the beginning that I did not want the radio without the backup camera. Had they been honest from the beginning I would have just kept my factory radio and back up camera and saved myself the money and headache! Very unprofessional and dishonest!

Poor service doesnt remember customers nor do they write receipts for every job done. So the next time you go there make sure everything is written down so they cant charge you a $30 garage fee. Probably should stick to just asking someone you know or go to a reputable business.

Excellent customer service! I have a Nissan maxima, my amp went out and I took my car to cartunes and Mickey shores and was told they couldnt touch my radio.. Well Detroit sound station got the job done with no hesitation and they were quick too.

I got a Groupon coupon for an automatic car starter at Sound Station. From the outside you might just pass it buy because there are no bright lights, etc. But when you go in you are pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the waiting area and the speedy service. They mainly install custom sound systems.

Cool dudes but the 20 dollar shipping fee when the are at fault is crazy and needs to ajusted.

Horrible install.had a 12in sub and amp install in a 2018 explorer and they did a horrible job.charged way to much.amp cuts in and out after 30days.then after 6 months my new truck would not start so I popped the hood and the fuse and wire they installed caught on fire.they dont have the same installers they used to have back in the day.i would stay away for sure.they even gave me a hard time about getting a receipt lol.crooks

I wont be back,I will not be recommending (unless,its to stay away and beware). (1st) I had an alarm installed,I had to bring it back twice (it was sounding-off all nite,I had to cut the connection) they blamed it on the factory alarm. I was told bring it back anytime,will fix it,take care of you... Listen, this is twice now, I appreciate you offering to fix it right,take care of me blah,blah,blah... If you did it right the 1st time,that would be a Great story,I dont need you to take care of me. (2) I had an antenna that was broken off at the drive-through car wash. They installed an antenna that they shoved/stuck behind the radio,underneath the hood!!! I only got a couple stations. They told me, I needed to buy an FM/booster to enhance my reception. Needless to say,I didnt buy anymore B.S. *I asked why did you put the antenna behind the radio? I was told, because he did the same thing to his BMW. (Hmmm). Imagine that. I did give these 2 yahoos Ronnie & Ramzy 2 stars for creativity on innovation and B.S.I would definitely hang out with these guys outside of work,I think they would be quite entertaining!

I took my truck up too sound station had a radio installed it was good for 4 months wire came apart from DVD radio that powers on the took it back not once but twice they said they fixed it but 2 days ago wire came back out again radio does not come until you take the radio out and properly 😡 fix the wire will not go too them again

Bought a Livingsocial for a remote starter. The voucher did say that there would be an extra charge for some cars, however, I called ahead and asked about it and was told it didnt apply. Drove down there in two cars only to find that I needed to pay to bypass my key system and they wanted an extra $149 for that. Everywhere else that I looked, the charge for the bypass was only $70. This is a rip-off.

Currently doing business with them and they are horrible. They tell you one price and try to swindle you out of more when the job is done. It is taking a month to get an amp that I can get anywhere else quicker. Customer satification is poor, in a nut shell they are a waste of time and money.

Rumzy and the crew do the best quality work for the best price. They stand behind their work and true to their word.
