Went to this location because my current set of frames were looking extremely crunchy. I get there and they are blasting some of the smoothest music in the waiting room. Of course I was singing along ! Took the eye exam and looked around for a while. My dearest Marvin had such a welcoming demeanor and tricked me into buy 3 pairs of glasses! All and all! He was AMAZING! Who would have thought I would leave the eye doctor in an even better mood! 5 stars is an understatement! Thanks for such a pleasant experience.

Smh🤔🤬😬... Purchased glasses about 8 months ago Unknown to me the Prescription was made Totally Wrong walked around 8 months Crazy!!!! Having Headaches, Blurred vision, Problems Focusing, unable to read !!! Im not a Doctor all I know is I felt Crazy and the glasses were falling off just a ton of problems !!!! Fast forward I went to another place to get my vision checked out and now Im perfectly fine, but I will Never in my life again go to My eyelab!!!! Was told they can replace the prescription, but I have to pay for an eye exam!! No Thank You 🤷🤬🤦

Never going there again. Worst experience and i know that every experience is different for everyone but unfortunately this time, for me, it was awful. The wait time was over 3 hrs.. the staff was courteous but not helpful. The place was overbooked and at least half of the selection they had of frames was in a bin that needed to be sanitized which okay i get why but how are you going to run a system you cant keep up with? Stop overbooking, be thorough and honest with your clients about prices and options, and utilize your time wisely.

The Asian Doc that only come in on Tues and Thursday wasnt no help at all, he was very vague and didnt listen to any of my concerns and didnt give me an honest solution at all just wanted to hurry up and give me glasses. And the assistant which is a short chubby black lady with short hair and glasses was awkward saying slick and insulting jokes with concerning my face to my lady when referring about the glasses I picked fixed!

Had an appointment today at 9:25am. I was in and out within 45 mins! The staff was very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. Marvin was extremely nice and funny and even explained everything down to the last period on my paperwork! Highly recommend going here for exams and lenses!

Where do I begin the whole entire staff was absolutely nice I had a chance to talk to everyone but my absolute 2 favorite was Zykya the manager and the young lady who does the eye exams at the back both were amazing and helpful but most importantly Zykya’s hospitality was out of this world if your reading this look no further this location is the place to go I promise they will take care of you and get everything you need. 10/10 would recommend going thank you so much Zykya ✨ I absolutely appreciate your help.

Can here not to long ago with my two kids only because i just moved to the area and my other eye clinic was an hour away, everyone seemed nice but my only issues were, As soon as i walked in i kept asking what does my insurance cover so I’ll know before hand everyone just kept saying well discuss that once we’re done with the eye exam the guy was super nice about it but still i wanted to be informed of what’s covered, next we did our virtual eye exam it was very hard to hear him over the intercom and second the prescription for me and my kids was completely wrong i have worn glasses my whole life and at that appointment i was told i had a really bad astigmatism in both eyes but only needed prescription glasses for one eye which i knew was completely wrong since i had been wearing glasses since i was in the 4th grade, again my kids eye exam i was told they needed glasses just not really strong ones and there eyes weren’t that bad again i knew something wasn’t right, now back to the insurance as it turns out the lady with the blonde curly hair told me my kids was free up to $100 and that they would show us a selection of which is under that price and mine would be $35 copay but then she walked away and i guess to the manager or something i can tell she was saying something about us since they both laughed after that the manager came to us and said my insurance was out of network but if we wanted to purchase the prescription we could and she said mine would be $75 and my kids $25 i told her no and that was the reason why i wanted to know what was covered before being seen i wasted an hour of our day when we could of went somewhere else she did apologize to me for the inconvenience and we left i did in fact go somewhere else the next day i drove the hour to our old eye clinic and i remembered the prescription for me and my kids and once our exam was done i told him what the eye lab had said we needed he laughed and said they were way off on all of our prescription and was not accurate not even the slightest. They are very polite people that are working there so I’m giving them two stars for that but leaving off three since our prescription was completely wrong, i wish i could say i recommend this place but sadly i can not since the prescriptions are wrong, I’m just glad i knew what our prescriptions were i can only imagine how that could have gone.

I started calling you guys at 430 for a simple thing that can be addressed in 30 seconds. It is currently after 600p and Im on hold. Ive called multiple times and have been connected to the front with no luck.That makes no freakin sense. Someone finally answered the phone and said she would check for the glasses and has left me on hold for 25 minutes so far. This is trash customer service.Update: totall time left in hold was 45 min. Called from another phone and eventually someone picked up and she said she forgot she had me on hold!At one point a customer service person told me to just go to the store; knowing theyre closed to sanitize.

Every associate was more than helpful each visit. The environment is comfortable, and they have a great plan in place to ensure everyone is safe during the pandemic. I took my son in last week for an exam and Marvin was wonderful. When I came in today for my exam, Stesha Melton provided me with an extremely outstanding customer experience. She provided me with facts and had showed she had my best interest even though I wasn’t pleased with the idea I need glasses. She assured me that I was getting the very best based on my needs. Im only giving 2 stars because my son and I can see however this will be the last time I get glasses from you guys. With an almost $500 bill my glasses have broken twice and my sons glasses have broken once. Good thing he got 2 pairs. Ive been waiting for my replacement frames since December and we are now in February. No one is answering there phone at the location and customer service is giving me the run around. Its time for my sons check up again and I would rather go to Walmart then this place again.P.S. The guy that helped us initially was awesome. His name was Travis and he helped us a great deal. Other then him this place sucks.

I GIVE UP!!! Ive been waiting since November 2020 to get my glasses (its now the end of February). I finally pick up my order and its still wrong!!!! I need sunglasses and they keep putting the lowest possible tint on it. These arent any good against the sun!!! I just took the glasses, bit my tongue and walked out. I WILL NEVER NEVER BE BACK!!!!

Very slow and unprofessional. 1. Told me I could bring my 6yr old in for an exam so I waited 2 weeks and when I arrived for my appt was told they don’t take 6yr olds! 2. Came to pick up glasses (which they didn’t call to tell me they were ready, I had to call them) had to wait 30 mins just to pick them up! I won’t be back.

Although my exam was done virtually it was the most accurate it has been in years. I felt the doctor paid attention to me. I also loved that the my eye lab was following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 occupancy rules and social distancing. The agent who helped Travis who helped with my glasses was nice and knowledgeable about his job and answered my questions whenever I had them.

Okay so this was almost a year ago, and I’m only just now writing a review because it’s my first time having to use my second pair of glasses. Anyways, when I went in with my mom we both bought two pairs of glasses. My mom’s were at the store ready for pick up in the regular amount of time which is like 2 weeks but I found it odd that only hers were ready. I gave them a couple more days and I received a call that they were ready for pick up. I go and they don’t even have an existing outstanding order for my two pairs which made me upset. So they can’t find the order and tell me to wait some more time. I come back about a week later because I received yet another phone call letting me know they were ready, and I head it. Nothing. They make me pick out different frames and they throw in a free pair of sunglasses. I’m appreciated the sunglasses and I was grateful but in total it took maybe a little over a month to get my glasses. Now, today I broke my first pair of glasses and I wasn’t too worried because I had a second pair that I intended to use as a backup. I paid almost $800 for them not to give me what I wanted. I specified that I did not want tinted glasses because they hurt my eyes trying to adjust, but today I found out that my second pair is in fact tinted and I’m super irritated. I gave My Eyelab a chance because they were new in my area but seriously never again and I would not at all recommend them to anyone if you already have a great doctor. Not even as a last resort.

Same day service for appointment. The young lady who did my exam was very pleasant and patient with me while I put in and removed my contacts for the first time. They young lady that took my information was also very pleasant and helpful. Also, the doctor checked my eyes from his virtual office which was very cool.The lady that helped the manger in training with providing her the correct information to put in the system was excellent help. If it was not for her the “manager in training” was trying to charge me almost $500. I ended up paying $20 for one year supply of contacts and my exam. I was very pleased with the service I received.

Very different kind of visit. So used to the provider being in the room to conduct the eye exam, so it was pretty interesting doing the exam virtually with the provider. They also made sure everything was wiped down between uses and checked temperatures before they would even let you in for services. Really great experience and the guy that help me with my glasses was nice and personable!

I was there March 2020 I took eye exam 2 months later the glasses were blurry when I went to my doctor I found out they gave me a prescription you would give a 50 yr old and my prescription was different in each eye and the no line bifocals had two different prescriptions the glasses frame peeled off two months later and I didnt have a virtual visit it was done in the store where the doctor was physically there. Not only that but the lenses fell out as well

This is a bait-and-switch scam!!! They advertise $59 for eye exam and 2 pair of glasses but when i was asked to pick my frames they only had 10 frames THAT NOBODY WOULD WEAR to pick from. I refused their glasses and said i would pay the REQUIRED $45 for the exam. The tech said it was their policy i at least pick one pair and i could USE THEM FOR EXTRAS! This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Please also don’t be fooled by these responses from the owner to make things right via the internet to call them to make it right. I was hung up on 3 times when I called after they asked me for a call back number still waiting for a call. Bad business and I will never visit this place again. I came in 2019 and had an awesome experience... But my visit in 2020 was horrible! I broke my frames that I had purchased with the warranty only to be told my prescription was only good for a year and had to get another eye exam, ok cool. I was in a rush so I left and called and made an appointment for later that day once I arrived for my appointment I was told the call center appointment was invalid because they are “under staffed “ I also brought in my daughters prescription to order her glasses this was 8/4 I ordered her two pair. I was told “ we’ll give you a call once they arrive” today is 8/24 so I decided to call and check on the order only to be told yes they are here and the store is “under staffed” and that’s why I wasn’t notified

I don’t know if it’s every eye lab chain or it just just this specific eye lab (DESOTO); It was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! My whole visit took about and hour and a half. For the promotion, there was a VERY limited amount of frames to choose. About 2-3 choices. The older Hispanic woman at the front desk with glasses was RUDE; At every single one of my visits!! I waited two weeks for my glasses. Then the doctor gave me the wrong prescription on those glasses. I went in for a correction and they told me that my new pairs of glasses would take about 3-5 days but when I called to check on them a week later, they said it would be another 3 weeks. AND NO ONE APOLOGIZED TO ME. I had to ask for a refund and take my money some place else. *** I was respectful the whole time*** SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

If you have two months to wait for your glasses this is definitely the place to come. Be patient they will push your date back and have you coming back and forth looking for your order and then treat you as if you are bothersome. So I went in today on 10/23 of 2019 and I walk into a very welcoming atmosphere. I had my exam taken by sweet people but the two that stood out to me most were MR. Marvin And Mrs. Stesha! They were kind and made me feel comfortable and let me take my time on the glasses I enjoyed and answered all my questions! I originally came in Jan for an exam and contacts. Zero stars for that visit. Horrible customer service. Thank God there was a sweet black young lady who helped me out. I returned the end of July for contacts and glasses. There was a real nice manager in training that day who remembered me and the horrible customer service I received the previous time. I came back today to pick up my order and the manager in training, a lady, is horrible. Even had the audacity to slam her little fist on the counter 😒. The same girl who helped me the 1st time was there and came over when she heard us. I gave it a try. But not a place I would ever come back to or refer anyone to like EVER. First, the staff are very personable. They are nice and very professional. However, based upon my own experience, I have paid less at eye mart express and have gotten my glasses significantly quicker. Granted they did tell me the number of business days, but like I said, I have gotten glasses elsewhere CHEAPER and faster. Also, no one called me when my glasses or contacts were ready. I had to continually call to check the status. This location is closer to my house, but I will likely not return unless I need help with the lens warranty.

Customer service is great. The staff is courteous and helpful. The wait time for your glasses to come back from the lab is not acceptable. It takes 2.5 weeks to get your glasses back. Not acceptable after you have paid for them. In my case I waited more than 30 days for my glasses to come back. Eye lab you should really work on on your turnaround time for orders. I will most likely not use them for future purchases due to that the turnaround time.

My experience with Eyelab started off slow, then after meeting some key people including the manager, things picked up with service and information. She was very helpful and watching her handle some irritated customers. I commended her on how she took care of them. get that fixed. nefinitely would of waiting. I didnt give a five star rating, or because nothing is perfect and theres always room for improvement. But, I was very satisfied with my decision to go there... once i got my order placed for my glasses, things changed dramatically. My glasses took way to long to arrive, then once they did. The vision was adjusted for seeing only in the center of the glass. Everything on the edges and peripheral was blurry. I had to come back. So another 3 weeks of waiting. All together, I was without glasses for 2 months and I drive to and from work at night. They definitely wont see me again, especially with their out of focus glasses.

I came in with my dad and didn’t really know what to expect, but we were very content with the way we were treated nicely and quickly. They have movies playing in the waiting area, so if you bring children, they’ll be very entertained. They have good prices and are extremely helpful. My dad mentioned he saw a black dot on his left eye because of an incident that happened a few years ago and they let him see the doctor right then and there, you don’t find these services just anywhere, definitely coming here from now on. 10/10

Me and my wife used My Eye Lab for the first time. We were greeted by Jessi and directed promptly to the eye exam. Something I never experienced was a video facilitated eye exam by an Optometrist which was seamless. After our exam Jessi assisted us in getting our frames. Great Customer service and timely service. (Edited) Please dont waste your money. My glasses broke!!! I gave a one star and I will explain why. My initial appointment went ok. My eyes were checked and my prescription is wrong. I went in to pay $59 for 2 pair and I ended up paying $130 because I was told I needed a bifocal. Before... I was wearing reading glasses. I got a bifocal and feel like I wasted my money because I had to take my glasses back and I still cant use them. I am not going to keep wasting my money or time when I can go to real Optometrist. Dont waste your money. The associates were not really concerned about my vision they seemed more concerned with getting people in and out. Maybe because it was the Desoto store... I dont know but Ill tell people dont to there. No I dont want to got back, your service was 0% all around.

Ive been calling for weeks to get a copy of my prescription. When I did get an answer, I was told i had to complete a consent form for them to email it to me. I completed that the very next day and sent it back. I call everyday and no answer. I have one contact in and Ive been like this for nearly a month. Without my prescription I cant order new ones. I moved to north dallas so they are too far for me to walk in the store. I hate I went here and I wouldnt refer them to ANYONE !

Marvin was great and helpful. The process was painless until you find out the price on the window was not what you were actually going to pay. Finding that the glasses advertised on their window was for only a couple of different frames and basic lenses with nothing added. Understandable but still misleading. They said it was buy one get one free. If I wanted just one pair, it was still the same price so I got two. I could have paid less than half for one pair of glasses with all the bells and whistles at Costco. Lesson learned. Great service though.

It was rude to deny me after I made an appt. and drove there and arrived on time. I called at 5:30 and made an appointment for 5:50, drove to Eyelab on Pleasant Run only to be told they called everyone that booked for after 5:30 that they would be cancelled. I never received a call from them. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by a young lady who asked me triage questions and took my temperature and gave me hand sanitizer then she stated she would take me to the back. Then the store manager approached me and stated they will not be taking anymore appts today, they needed to sanitize the store. Meanwhile there were other people walking around the store still breathing on and touching frames. Mind you this was at 6pm and they dont close until 7pm.

During my last visit a couple of days ago, I encountered a great experience at this location. Considering I was hesitant about switching eye doctors, I did not regret my decision after walking out of there! Yaya was so nice and so approachable. Stesha was so helpful, and professional. Marvin was very patient at assisting me throughout the process. The Office Manager John was extremely nice and explained to me the different devices/products that they use and how they were so important, which no one ever took the time to share that type of knowledge with me. It was such a learning experience, overall great friendly staff! I am trying these great transition contacts that are only sold here. So far, theyve been awesome. Overall, the friendliness of the staff was so welcoming and I loved it!

OK been a minute since I had glasses, but came here to the eye lab today and the service is fast, people are friendly, and the environment is great. The doctor was precise and made sure we were checked correctly. Marvin has excellent customer service and I recommend you go to the eye lab, ask for Marvin and hell take care of you. Tell him Andre sent you.

So you can set up your appt online.. However when you finish your exam the staff ignores you and takes the customer who came in an hour after you arrived. They dont call you to let you know your prescription is ready.. ugh.. dude!

I was told my contacts would take a week to be delivered. I called them and they stated it would be 2 weeks. Which is an inconvenience for me because I’m going out of town and now have to postpone my trip to wait to see if they arrive. If I would of known it would take 2 weeks I would of never ordered and I would of went elsewhere!! I can’t see anything. Then they can’t provide a tracking number so I can track to see the package. Will not be using them again.

Super friendly environment! My boyfriend and I came as it was our first time getting glasses and although it was about to be closing hours, they were super nice. Stesha guided me through the whole process as I was super lost and didn’t know how to update my profile. You guys will be in great hands.

Very efficient and excellent customer service! The staff over all was very kind, friendly and very helpful. Litoya was there to help me pick out my two frames. Desiree help me understand what I will be saving for the price of two glasses and with everything on it that I wanted. And thats to John on the other frames I got and I know I will love them both. And, I would let all my friends and family know where they can go to get some nice frames.

In response to the Eye Lab response below:I dont feel that Im obligated to call you; you should call call me. My name here is the name on my order. Ihave to be blunt; Im tired of calling you all to get the glasses due which I paid!I never had this issue before but I ordered 2 pair of glasses on July 13th. Ive only received one pair as of 8-15-2020. Its been over a month! No one can tell me where my glasses are! This review is a last stitch effort! I paid for my glasses so where are they?

I loved this place from the minute I walked in the door I was greeted then I was sent back to the receptionist the receptionist and I became friends right away she was so friendly she did a mini eye exam thenI went to Dr Nguyen he was amazing as well explained everything did the eye exam I am one who needs to get everything explained slowly so I can understand then I came out to pick out my glasses I was struggling and then there comes sweet Marvin to help me out. He was amazing I got such a great deal on my two pair of glasses I said I was on a budget and he was able to help me out I got top of the line glasses I love this place I would give it a 10 if I could
