I must be getting old because I miss the music and the edge of hot topic. Now its a store for anime emo bands and pops..... nothing wrong with emo. Love me some mcr or state Champs... dashboard and the like but I miss the supernatural and goth stuff. Not a goth BTW just like the atmosphere. Also miss when they played bands like off with their heads. Discovered their music at a hot topic and they are bar none my favorite modern punk rock. Hottopic has always been trendy but its not straight up mainstream

Usually when coming here I could find what I want, buy what I want & leave. But lately this place is lacking a lot of the merchandise that makes me shop there. They say go online and ship to store. Well what if you get the wrong size then its back & forth .. So what you thought would be one trip ends up turning into frustration. Why bother shopping in the mall if thats the case. What a shame.

The employees are great! Helpful, knowledgeable and personable. They have gone out of the way to help me order things, and do returns of online purchases.I wish hottpoic stores were larger and easier get around in (especially during a pandemic?), and I wish they had more plus sizes in store.

For the last four years, Hot Topic has been *the place* to get gifts for my teenage daughter. The prices are absolutely fair, and bargains abound. Plus the staff at the Merle Hay Mall store are really friendly and do their jobs well!

Great customer service and great sale prices

I love your selection, my sons do too. Your only down fall is space! It is hard to move around in any store I had been into even in the past! But the setup, decor arrangements and staff always fit very well with the theme it brings. Your staff always assists customers and lets them look around without consistently asking how they can help. I feel that makes a good business thrive on repeated business.

Great place, I love the atmosphere in here, its dark with good music playing most of the time, staff is nice and helpful. The only downside though is that its kind of expensive, like $25+ for a t-shirt

The store is fantastic but some of the employees are not. Should learn the difference between asking a person politely rather than yelling and being rude. #Jordencreekmall

Dont know why my daughter likes this place, but it makes her happy with the type of products they have here. Which makes me happy that she is. Employees are courteous and very nice.

They have a lot of Pop characters. The Anime section is a bit small but therere Anime Pops that are exclusive to Hot Topic.

Always a fun place to stop in and look around ro awhile and maybe pick up something related to whats relevant in todays pop culture.

The cashier that was working had purple & black hair, was very friendly, & was very understanding, kind and helpful to me & my kids as they looked around the store to see what they wanted to get!!!We got there close to closing and she still didnt mind us taking time to look around to see what we wanted!!!Im single mother with 6 kids (16,13,6,4,2,5mos) & my sister(19) with me that night & all of the help was greatly appreciated!She made our night cuz we had been having a rough day & she made it well worth the trip, we had been driving a lot that day & the kids were all full of energy!The cashier even caught that some of the stuff hadnt rung up correctly & rerung it so that we received the correct discounts & prices for everything!It was our best experience at Hot Topic that my kids & I have ever had!!!Hot Topic needs more people like her working for them!!!The entire experience had us talking about how awesome the cashier/saleswoman was the whole way home (which happens to be a 4 hour trip)!When we got home we all agreed it woukd definitely be worth the drive to get to shop there again in the hopes that she is working!!!What an AWESOME person to get to meet!!!

This is a great place to get t-shirts of your favorite bands/Music Artists and there is a great size selection🎶🎶 🎶 the price is a little much but its worth it.

Stopped by to pick up a Deadpool shirt for me and my girl in time for the movie tomorrow. The sales person there seemed less than enthused to help, and struggled to answer my questions. Will never go there again, but instead will head to Jordan Creek.
