One of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. Every member of their staff was extremely nice and they all went above and beyond. Some of the best Italian food that we have ever had. Every dish was authentic and delicious. They wiped the table between each dish and the drinks were always full. At the end, they let us know that the gratuity is baked in. They didn’t even have a tip line. Very reasonable price considering the great customer service, the portion size, the quality of the food, and that the gratuity was baked. Highly recommend.

Amazing from, being graciously greeted at the Door, assisting me with my to go order for my Birthday Dinner! I enjoyed a glass of Champagne while I waited! The flavors of the starter salads were fresh and well presented! The entree’s that followed were unique yet absolutely delicious!As I looked around, I saw a very simply yet inviting atmosphere, made me wish that we were Dining In!All in all, the food traveled well and was beyond expectations! Amazing service with truly attentive and friendly staff. I called the day before to ask about a particular dish and reservations; Heather said they’d just removed the dish from their menu but that they’d save one remaining serving for my party - and on top of that, they managed to squeeze our group of 3 in despite how last minute the reservation was.Every part of the meal was delicious and I’m truly sad we don’t live in Colorado (guess we’ll just have to take another trip here to eat at Olivia again!)

Fantastic start to finish. I made an offhand comment about it being my wifes birthday, and they went above and beyond to give a special experience. Food was excellent for every course, and the wine pairings were on point. Most of all, the service was perfect. Friendly, engaged and attentive staff. Very highly recommend.

We tried out this restaurant for my birthday. From the atmosphere, service, drinks and entrees Restaurant Olivia was EXCELLENT!!! I still can not stop thinking about how delicious my meal was. Highly recommend! We will be returning.

We went for our anniversary and it was heavenly. Its an intimate little spot, our server was amazing and timed everything perfectly, the starters, entrees, dessert and drinks were perfection. The pasta was perfectly cooked and their entire menu is creatively and skillfully done. The lobster spaghetti wasnt overly rich and was amazing, the red sauce around my eggplant parmesan had a fantastic zing. The owner/hostess and entire wait staff were so attentive. Lovely presentation on the plates, highest quality ingredients and it is non-pretentious. Just perfect.

I don’t have the words to describe how excellent this restaurant is. What you need to know:- Impeccable service- Excellent cocktails (I could take the margaritas in an IV and die happy)- Every dish on the 6-course menu was well-balanced, flavorful, and satisfyingI usually expect to leave (1) not quite full, and/or (2) a little disappointed, when doing a prix fixe menu. NOT. HERE.Foie Gras ice cream with banana bread - don’t question it, just order it. Along with the octopus. And salads. And on and on and on.Out of 12 dishes, there were only 2 I’d give an “ok” rating to. But someone has to be 11th and 12th place 🤷🏻‍♀️Every cocktail we had was on par with the best cocktail bars in Denver. Go here. You’ll be so glad you did!

The food is consistently fresh, innovative and delicious! Be sure to try the cocktails and wine, as both are well curated and crafted. The only downside is the parking; use the valet, or if you plan to drink much, call an Uber.

This was the best food Ive had in Denver - from start (the bread - so good) to finish! The service was amazing - the staff was very knowledgeable and provided great service. Drinks were delicious too! Will be back for sure!

I cant say enough good things about Restaurant Olivia! The service was impeccable, the entire staff was so nice & attentive, and gave great recommendations. The drinks were made to perfection, I had a peach Negroni (Negroni Bianco), and while it had a light sweet peach flavor it was really well balanced, light flavor wise, and decently strong. We had the Zucchini Arancini to start which was so satisfying, and then I had the Eggplant Parmesan for dinner. The Eggplant Parmesan was definitely one of the best Ive ever had and will definitely order it again.I cant wait to go back! Definitely grab a reservation because its a small space, and street parking was our best option.

I was having a pretty frustrating night including having the battery go out in my car and they were more than kind about everything going on. On top of the amazing customer service, the food is absolutely delicious. Dont miss out on the Black Manhattan if youre ordering a cocktail, its my favorite drink in Denver.

I almost gave this place 4 stars, because of how lackluster the lobster spaghetti was(which cost almost double the other dishes!), but everything else was all-star, and we were celebrating my spouses birthday and they gave us a small champagne tasting which just set the mood and made their night.I would say, you cant go wrong ordering anything, except the lobster spaghetti.

By far one of the most special experiences at a restaurant I’ve ever had. The drinks tasted so incredibly tailored to each individual’s taste, and the staff were so incredibly adaptable to each unique flavor profile. We had a dairy free individual in our party and I’m SO pleased to report that our friend was served a beautifully lactose free 5 course meal! The chef was unbelievably accommodating. Overall, I have never tasted such incredibly flavorful dishes with a staff that was over the top friendly, attentive and truly wanting to get to know you. Highly recommend :)

I bought a pan of lasagna to go and it came out AWESOME. After slapping it in the oven for an hour, it was sizzling. Such a great comfort food, you guys knocked it out of the park! The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to order more from this restaurant.

Nice french restaurant in Wash Park. They have good alcohol specials throughout the week, Sunday being half off all wine bottles. The food was really good with all the usual options. The restaurant is located on a busy crossroads but inside you would never know and its super cozy and cute.

*TLDR–Exceptionally rushed dining experience, aloof waitstaff, omission of mentioning that gratuity was included in check. Food was excellent but service was very disappointing.*I wish I could gush over our meal at Restaurant Olivia but things felt a bit off at every turn. From what Id read online, Olivia’s received mostly rave reviews and seemed to be the perfect place to go for any sort of celebration–great food, great service, and a deep interest in hospitality. Id confirmed our reservation the day before however Olivias took the added step of phoning me the day of to confirm personally. They asked if 2 hours would be adequate for us to enjoy our meal. I answered in the affirmative as I relish a relaxed pace when dining out. They then asked if it was a special occasion. We were in fact in Denver to celebrate our anniversary and our meal at Olivias was the perceived high point of our stay so I shared this with them. I was told that the restaurant looked forward to celebrating with us, which prompted the expectation of some sort of festive gesture when we arrived. Unfortunately, this set us up for disappointment as our hosts never welcomed us with an acknowledgment of the evening’s celebratory nature and frankly, why bother asking if its a special occasion if youre not going to do something special for your guests? The lackluster reception deteriorated further as we didnt find our waiter, Shane, to be particularly welcoming or cordial but rather very cut and dry. He took our drink order and upon delivering our cocktails, promptly asked if he could put our dinner order in. As we had anticipated being able to savor our time there and had been seated for just 15 minutes at that point, we requested a salad starter and a few more minutes to decide on entrees. Shane informed us that the kitchen preferred to get our full meal order at once so that they could time it. Were all about that so we took perhaps another 7 minutes to decide on our dishes, dropping any starters from our order and requested instead 2 appetizers and 2 pasta dishes to be served all at once. As we looked forward to what we hoped would be an epic 2-hour meal, 3 pieces of warm focaccia with parmesan butter were brought to our table (delicious!)…but then a mere 5 minutes later, and not even halfway through the small plate of bread, our entrees were delivered. We quickly moved our bread plates aside to make room for the main attraction but were dismayed as top tier restaurants know that if you’re engaged in consuming what lays on the plate in front of you, it’s bad form to bring out the next course. How they missed that culinary social cue here at Olivia’s is beyond me. It would have been difficult to resuscitate the evening at that point but I held out hope. We’d seen a neighboring table that had arrived before us and was allowed to linger over their meal, enjoying some bubbly on the house prior to cocktails in honor of their celebration as well as a gift of cookies at the end of their meal. Perhaps a dessert flourished with “Happy Anniversary” on the plate rim would arrive…but no. This was doomed to be the celebration that never was. I’m not suggesting that the food wasnt wonderful…it was, but partaking in a very pricey meal within such a rushed timetable by a less than convivial waiter and without any fanfare greatly diminished and undermined the entire experience. The final disappointment was the delivery of the check which was brought to us without any explanation that gratuity was included within the pricing of the dishes (nor was it seemingly printed on the check itself). Fortunately, Id remembered reading about this online and inquired when one of the owners was in sight. He confirmed my understanding of this important omission and prompted our waiter to stop by our table to reaffirm what had not been stated initially. Our waiters lapse most certainly wasnt an oversight and as such, in the end, we were left feeling further disheartened, overlooked and most certainly underwhelmed.

Honestly, one of my all time favorite restaurants. The staff here really cares about your dining experience and I have been nothing but pleased with them. We have dined in, carried out, take-n-bake, most of their offerings and everything is amazing. Even had it for my thanksgiving dinner! Keep up the awesome work!

The food was perfect. We ordered the Filet Mignon Oscar and the Snapper. Best food my wife and I have had in a very long time. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was fantastic. Natalie was amazing. She went out of her way to make a drink for my wife they never had on the drink menu. She was always smiling and very polite. We will be back often.

Had a really lovely dinner tonight. The service is outstanding - everyone was really warm and welcoming, took a great care of the table. The tables and menus are carefully sanitized and all precautions are taken during COVID. The fresh baked bread was incredible - probably the best baked breads I ever tasted. We opted for a 4 course tasting each - and got to sample delicious variety of the dishes. We stayed kind of late - and we appreciated the patience of the crew - who allowed us kindly to take our time and finish our desserts. Thank you very much for the lovely food and service!

I had a wonderful homemade pasta dish -- a pasta stuffed with mushrooms ( wish I could remember the Italian name for it), truly memorable, and ended the dinner with a decadent slice of homemade cheesecake that was at the same time both rich and light -- amazing! Wonderful staff. I will definitely go back!

Felt very fancy, unique, and classy. The soup was to die for. enjoyed the touch of a pallet cleanser in between courses. even the butter for the bread was seasoned!

What a phenomenal experience we had over at Olivia last night! The drinks, food, and service were all on point. This was hands down one of the best meals Ive had in Denver in a long time.

The food was absolutely delicious. The grilled octopus appetizer was the best I have ever had! My chicken ravioli main dish was very tasty and served al dente instead of mushy like most places. The sauce was superb. Service was impeccable and just the right combination of attentive and informative, without being intrusive. The only reason that I did not give Olivia a perfect rating is the mandatory tipping policy. I have never believed in mandatory tipping and never will. We would have leaved an even larger tip because of the excellent service, but were just instructed to sign. I wish they would do lunch.

An incredible dining experience! I was planning a birthday dinner date with my four-year-old and found Restaurant Olivia online. I called ahead to make sure that Restaurant Olivia was kid friendly and vegetarian friendly. The host that I spoke with was informative and assured me that the chef would be happy to make sure that the entrees were not too spicy for my little one and that the four course tasting menu included a vegetarian option. When we arrived we were welcomed by the wait staff and shown to our table right away. Michelle our server was attentive and patient with my daughter. Dinner was perfect. Every course and all the in-betweens were amazing. My daughter had spaghetti with alfredo sauce, then the chef made her a special bowl of sauteed zucchini and yellow squash. We were served a lovely palette refresher of watermelon and lime ice cream which was an absolute hit. The wine list offered a great variety of wine by the glass in bottle, in price and taste for mommy. Everyone was so kind and aware that my daughter wanted to try new foods and be apart of a fancy dinner at a very special restaurant. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Restaurant Olivia and I cannot wait to return with family and friends. This may be our new special occasion location as well as our go to for a normal Wednesday date night. Thank you Restaurant Olivia for making our experience extra special.

If I could give 10 stars I would for this review. We had the most wonderful evening last night celebrating a birthday. I was in touch with the Olivia team for a couple weeks leading up to our reservation. We have many good sensitivities so as expected I was a little concerned that they might not want to or were not able to accommodate our needs. (Mainly gluten free, but also egg free and light dairy) well, they exceed our expectations every step of the way! We have eaten at so many restaurants and our experience last night was up there in the top best restaurants and meals we have visited. The food was sensational! We did the 6 course tasting menu and were so pleased to get to taste so many things. Go visit this amazing restaurant! You will in no way be disappointed!! Thank you so much for a memorable evening!

I never leave reviews as I been in the industry for over 20 years and understand things happen but this was a quick and very bad experience. When I walked in the door this guy just looked at me like I was lost. I wasnt really greeted at all and had to tell him a table for one. He looks at my hair, clothes and tattoos and says theyre closed and dont open until 5 and theyre completely booked. I pull out my phone and show him the hours posted online and he says thats weird as Im looking at two people sitting there eating. The guy was very short with me and came off strange. Ive been wanting to try this place for a while now and will never return. And the funny thing is Im a chef and would have tipped an easy 50-60%.

Had the 6 course tasting menu and it was MIND BLOWING! Each dish was unique and perfectly balanced. I would have been thrilled to order any one dish on its own but am so lucky I got to try them all! My boyfriend and I each got different items so really it was like a 12 course tasting menu, and let me tell you, that’s the way to do it. I would highly recommend going ASAP if you like great service, great food, and great drinks.One more note... the octopus was probably the best octopus I’ve had in my life. Even if you don’t typically like octopus, try this one!

The only word to describe this place is phenomenal... top notch service and even better food. You must get the 6 course tasting menu! The cocktails are highly inspired and very unique. This is a nice little place with good food. I really enjoyed the lobster bisque! I had fish for my main course and it was good, but for the price, I just thought it was decent. I’m glad I tried it but I’m not sure I would go back, it was good but if I’m paying that much I would try something else. I do recommend trying it though and make sure to get the lobster bisque.

My husband and I traveled from Oklahoma for our anniversary. We were referred by a fellow Oklahoman who is personal friends of the owners. Let me tell you, my opinion is SOLELY my own. From the absolutely warm reception, the safety precautions due to COVID, and the amazing presentation of each course, the origin and what it paired well with, I AM SOLD. Everything was seasoned to PERFECTION. The chef is truly a genius! I highly recommend the pistachio salad as a starter ( I will dream of this) and the Garganelli Allá Norcina!!!!

We came here for our Anniversary on the recommendation from a friend, and we are so happy we did. Wow, what an amazing dinner. We have found our favorite restaurant. Everything about our experience: the service, food, cocktails, atmosphere, was impeccable. We each had the 4-course dinner. The lobster spaghetti is a must--and the sweet corn tortellini, but really everything was amazing: the watermelon arugula salad, the halibut, the dessert. The restaurants namesake even colored an Anniversary card for us in advance, which was given to us by our server. If you need a place to go for a night out, go to Restaurant Olivia. You will be happy you did. We cant wait to go back.

Went in for dinner for my mothers birthday on Tuesday Sep. 8. The food was exceptional and the service was top notch. Most impressively, our server navigated my stepdads annoying request for an off-menu cocktail perfectly, and the bartenders execution of his pineapple and raspberry martinis (lol) were flawlessAs a fellow industry employee I was very happy to see they have a progressive way of pricing their menu to include gratuity, which I assume also ensures fair wages for all employees. I love and work in the neighborhood and will be recommending Olivia to everyone I know, and my wife and I will be back for dinner again very soon.

Olivia has amazing appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I am still dreaming about their spaghetti bolognese. They are very efficient with reserved spots for pick up. It was so delicious that we had to get pick up again the same week.

Italian food at this spot - super tasty. Dropped in on Mon I think. The staff was helpful and kind.

This is my new absolute favorite spot for brunch. The food was delicious (Salmon Benedict and Croque Madame), the drinks were tasty and reasonable ($4 Bloody Marys and Mimosas). Service was fantastic and the whole experience felt high end without being stuffy. As a side note, we didnt see any parking (it all seemed to be reserved for the Starbucks next door), but there was plenty of parking on the street (Downing) even with it being 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday. We will definitely be back and are now eager to try them out for dinner too!

My husband and I love Olivia’s, and have used their curbside carry out service several times during Co-Vid. The food is delicious, and the service excellent. The bake-it-yourself lasagne and chocolate chip cookies, chop salad, and bottle of wine for 2 make for a delectable night at home. And their eggplant parm is really yummy too. It’s served over spaghetti squash to make any vegetarian smile.

Weve gotten To Go numerous times from Olivia, always outstanding. Prices are so reasonable for the quality. Looking forward to finally Dining In there soon!

A wonderful dining experience, from start to finish! The staff was so friendly and attentive !! What the Chef and Team create in the kitchen is incredible!!! Started with Grilled Baby Vegetables and a Chopped salad. Both were a delicious blend of ingredients and flavors. We then progressed to the garganelli alla norcina ( delicious sausage, tomatoes, and in cream sauce) and chicken Marsala ravioli ( best Marsala sauce ever) Wow!!! Our choice of deserts included gelato and carrot cake Bomboloni!!! Spectacular!!!Restaurant Olivia also features a 5 course meal on the menu! Check them out!!!!! You won’t be sorry!!!!

Outstanding service and food.

I love this establishment! What a beautiful and open culture with food that backs it up! Don’t be scared to try the interesting flavors that surprise you. We particularly enjoyed the rabbit and duck dishes. We also were hesitant about the limoncellos, but the interesting but untraditional. flavors marry so well.

The food and service were exquisite!

First off, the focaccia bread was divine. Warm, soft, buttery and properly salted. Amazing bread. For the first course, we shared the seared foie and charred octopus. Both were really good although I prefer both to be slightly more seared on the outside for that slightly crunchy texture. For the second course, we shared the summer salad and the hamachi crudo.

Italian food, mmm, quality stuff. A preferred evening place. The service was sociable and attentive. This place has a great design.

My goodness I felt like I was back in Paris somewhere. This cute little eatery has all of the traditional french dishes and a few new twists that will literally have you making another reservation before you leave. Try the Kir Royale!

We love dining at a different restaurant as often as possible. Right now were glad we chose this amazing place. The three of us each had a different entree. Afterward we each looked at one another and said, I had the best meal. Yup, there are no bad choices here. Great food, great service and a very relaxing atmosphere.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time! If you are looking for a good date night in Denver, this is the place. For anyone with a dietary restriction, they go above and beyond to accomodate your needs.

So glad we found this place before its gone! Come January 2020, Cafe Marmotte will close and re-open as an Italian Restaurant. I believe the name will be Cafe Olivia. I know it will be delicious, and we will anxiously await its opening. But until then, let me rave about Cafe Marmotte.We were incredibly late for our reservation due to wrecks on 25. The owner was so gracious and accommodating. It was a lovely experience from start to finish.Our waiter was very knowledgeable about wine and the wine list. His recommendations for food were in point.We had mussels in a red coconut curry with French fries of all things to start. It was delicious. And the French fries soaked in the sauce were such a surprisingly awesome addition.I had the lobster spaghetti with mascarpone and lemon. The noodles are made in house. The lobster flown in daily from Maine. If I could only explain to you how good it smelled, you would have an inkling of how magnificent it tasted.

Had the lobster spaghetti with truffle sauce. The halibut. Tempura squash Blossom in Pomodoro sauce. Amazing food, service and attention to detail!

I had been meaning to try Olivias and tonight used my birthday to give me a reason to order a great meal. It was awesome--the best take out I have had since the pandemic started. Do not know how they did it, but the pasta was cooked perfectly and when I got home it was hot and al dente. The lobster and sauce were stunners, as was the salad and the focacio. This place is a jewel and we should all support the owners during this pandemic. Their prices include the gratuity. So they are being creative about how to manage the challenges for themselves and their staff. I ordered the chitarra to take home and cook tomorrow and can hardly wait. Their pasta is as good as you can get in Italy.

Giving it a 4 because of the ambience. Super romantic, beautiful place. Sit on the patio. Its mostly all dates here. You can absolutely dress up. Food is very mediocre and pricey. Service was good.

Very good! Tasting menu was great. I love that the gratuity is included in the price, much like european restaurants (at least for the tasting menu). The service is top notch, great personal touch and attentive, some of the best that Ive experienced. Flavors were great. My favorite was the lobster spaghetti, amazing flavor. The spaghetti could have been more al dente, but thats a personal preference. The duck breast was good as well, I didnt care for the pomegranate nor the runny polenta but it was good nonetheless. The dessert was fine, its not a dessert I would have chosen, but it was well balanced and flavorful. The addition of the micro-greens to the dessert didnt impress me, if it was a fragrant herb (basil, mint, etc...) instead of a bland leaf, that would have added another dimension to the oiliness of the brown butter tart. However the palate cleanser was phenomenal. Honestly that would make a great dessert. The palate cleanser is an aloe citrus sorbet, that was one of the best sorbets Ive ever had. Amazing creativity using aloe in this form, I will definitely try to experiment with this on my own. Overall a good experience. I would definitely return and I highly recommend the lobster spaghetti.

This place is charming and has excellent food and staff! Go There!I have driven past this restaurant many times over the past several months and see mothers and daughters going in there and many other people that made me want to try it out.So my girlfriend Sharon and I popped in one afternoon for a glass of wine. We met the owner Maria and had a fun time connecting with her at the bar. We recently started a pretty righteous place in Capitol Hill London Alley Salon so it was nice to get a completely alternate view on business.We came back a couple weeks later for an evening of celebration after hitting a critical milestone in our business. Over the years Ive been to many French restaurants including several trips to TAIX in Los Angeles. I can say Cafe Marmotte is a truly fantastic place to go out for a lunch or evening! Words cant express the atmosphere that is delivered, but exceptional comes very close. Sharon was on cloud nine. We both had the Fillet Mignon and it was excellent. We ordered each different vegetables, they were crisp flavorful and still tender. And the sauces were perfect! We did not order dessert as we were quite full from the dinner. And we were treated exceptionally well. The pricing was very reasonable considering everything we had. There was a solid mix of respectable customers all relaxing to a great evening out. Cafe Marmotte was bringing french style cuisine with panache. Starting with a very personal greeting leading to formal yet comfortable service.The food was on point. It took me back to Paris and the French Riviera. Very traditional in the ways you know what to expect, but also very well executed in a very current and easily presentable way. I am sad to see this menu go, but am intrigued to see how they interpret and present italian cuisine this year!

I cannot sing enough praises about this place. Everything from the service to the atmosphere and the food was more than we could have hoped for. Would definitely recommend making a reservation since there are only 8 or so tables which made for a very intimate setting for date night. They do half portions of the pasta so we were able to try a few different things, but its worth ordering a full portion of the lobster spaghetti. Might be the best thing Ive ever eaten! Also highly recommend dessert, especially the house made limoncello. We will definitely be back!!

Oh, my goodness!! I got takeout tonight and was blown away by how good the food was! The pasta bolognese was delicious! The lasagna was like anything Ive ever had. And the focaccia bread with whipped butter incredible. This was my first time ordering from Restaurant Olivia and I will definitely order again. We noticed an adorable handwritten thank you note from the owners daughter in the bag. So cute!!We went to 5280 online to search up local restaurants and check out different menus. One of the things that jumped out from Olivias website is that you can opt to add a $10 donation to your order and they will give a four-person pasta kit to a family in need. Also, if you buy a $100 gift card, they will give you an additional $25 gift card. I really think its more important than ever to support our local restaurants and businesses :)
