Check-in for our unit was a slow process with two very rude women behind the counter. Once we got checked in, our code did not work on the door we went to. We were then told to use a different door where it still didnt work. We were then told to just use the door through the store because the system hadnt registered our code yet. Its been TWO WEEKS AND OUR CODE STILL DOESNT WORK!!!! I also wish there were more complimentary dolly/carts to work with. We actually found one but another guy coming in could not find another anywhere.
My equipment was available as promised, and the friendly team did a faultless job of hooking the car carrier to my truck.
This is the best U-Haul experience I’ve ever had. The employees here are actually nice, friendly and helpful! Download the app before you go and you can almost do the whole rental by yourself. Fast, easy and lots of trucks and equipment available to rent.
I had a truly awful experience at this U-Haul yesterday. I had selected mobile-based pickup thinking it would give me flexibility in case the counter agents were super busy. It was the worst mistake I could have made, because even when I was having difficulty with the online interface, the people at the store supposedly werent able to help. They literally could not (or simply would not) override the system and just check out a truck for me the normal way. So, I had to endure the painful online interface and absurd amount of verification. I had to give them my brothers name and phone number as well as my employers. They actually called both my wife and brother to verify both could reach me in case the truck went missing. Im sure if it were a weekday, they would have called my employer as well.Now, I realize that the online / mobile pick-up interface is a greater U-Haul thing not specific to this particular location. What was VERY specific to this particular location -- and the reason for my 1 star review -- was the rude, condescending attitude of several of the people working there. One was a counter agent, a woman probably in her mid-20s who made zero attempt whatsoever to do anything to help me with the mobile pick-up option, because the computer system wont let her. Really? Even if that was actually the case, she could have offered to call U-Hauls central service line on my behalf. At that time, there werent even other customers in the store to be helped. She just went back to scrolling on her phone while I struggled to get the online process to complete properly.The other rude employee was a guy managing the lot. He seemed to get unreasonably offended by a comment I made saying I was surprised that a hand truck and blankets I had ordered werent already in the truck, because the email confirmation said they would be. When he asked what extras I had ordered, he insinuated that I was clueless for not remembering the exact quantity of furniture blankets I had ordered, even though those extras werent actually listed in any confirmation email. Then, he acted put out for having to go look up my order and collect the extras. Finally, he was straight-up condescending when I asked for clarification about how I would be charged if I used the extra blankets in the truck.The only positive experience with this U-Haul location was the person who checked us in once we were finished with out rental. We were 10 minutes late and he didnt question it. He was professional and courteous, but unfortunately it didnt make up for my horrible experience earlier in the day.
I just rented from them yesterday, returned the van today. I had a great experience and was extremely happy with the service. The move sucked but thats not Uhauls fault. The van was brand new and they gave me everything I needed. No surprise charges and no issues getting the rental. Will definitely be back next move.
That is most people that take the time leave a review get the motivation from being very angry and thinking they were wronged in some way.What you dont see in the reviews are the 95% of people who were more than pleased with the business and its staff.iPhone when you happen to know what daily basis but the staff here are very cool people
I was a little terrified by reviews but I got the good end of the stick. Scheduled 10ft rental online about 1.5 weeks in advance, got there at 8am. Easy check in, got the insurance. Tony the returns guy sped things up and walked me around truck checking for Xs for damage, truck all good other than decal scratches. Did my moving stuff, brought truck back like 1pm. Guy with longer hair did my return. Pretty much told me to get out of there and hed do the check (with a hint of humor). Worried me a little theyd tack on something I didnt damage or otherwise do, but no, all good, pleasant easy experience. As with anything in sure YMMV
We rented a 15ft u-haul on 5/15 at 10 am and dropped it off at 2:20 pm the lady who checked us out and helped us return extra boxes was super friendly and helpful. The gentleman who got the truck ready and helped us when we dropped it off was also super helpful and nice. Best U-Haul location in Denver!
Kind of shady. I was told not to document the damage on the truck while checking out through the app, seems like a very problematic thing to tell a customer that is assuming liability for the vehicle. I have made reservations and on multiple occasions they did not have the vehicle I reserved. And I have been charged for fuel even though the fuel gauge was where it needed to be when returned. It’s a shame because it is a convenient location, but some of the employees are kind of sus.
I was lied to and charged for items that were unavailable. I was then sent 15 miles out of my way to pick up replacement equipment and given the wrong equipment.I was disconnected from customer service when trying to explain the situation and eventually refused a refund.I then took to social media, where I was told that I could get a $50 payment because the equipment wasnt available, but told I still had to pay $150 for a rental that is worthless to me. The company essentially breached their contract with me and is keeping my money without providing the appropriate equipment. Through social media, the company reached out and started a conversation. This has so far lasted over an hour and the resolution is to go drive another 5-10 miles to pick up the appropriate equipment. On top of the headache this has caused and the money they have essentially stolen, this has already cost me over 3 hours of my day. There will not be enough time to finish moving today. I now have to take an additional day off, hire additional helpers and the company wont do ANYTHING to salvage their reputation.This is BY FAR the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced, exasperated by the fact that in these times, people are pinching pennies to get by and making financial decisions based on how they are treated. This is HORRIBLE treatment! I will be recommending ANY other company to anyone I know who needs to rent equipment. They ought to be embarrassed by this treatment.Remember this when deciding which company to use next time you need to rent equipment.

Horrible experience here. You can opt out of insurance, but they phrase it in such a way to make it seem like its mandatory. I called my own insurance before and they let me know they would cover the rental and an employee at this location said, you will pay us, and they will refund you. When I called to sort it out, they hung up on me, after I called them out on their scam. Will never recommend this place.
Uhaul is the literal worst - they are also like, the only real moving truck rental option. Any entrepreneurs out there looking for a nich, buy some moving trucks, rent them for an advertised fee that doesnt increase 3x before you hand over keys, when trucks are NOT available, dont tell people they are and dont require 3 references, family history and blood type just to confirm a rental, that is what insurance is for. You would do great, I would rent from you JUST so I didnt have to support Uhaul.

Kelsey and her co worker (forgot to ask for her name) on 2/5/21 around 5pm were beyond helpful and super friendly they made renting a U-Haul a smooth transaction and really went out of there way to help me. Their customer service is amazing and they deserve a raise! Not many people in customer service are as helpful and friendly as they were.
Every person that work there was rude to every customer that walked in and out of that place . Deiago was snickering laughing at my partner and I along with the multi color haired person behind the counter . I asked for a different vehicle I watched a homeless man climb out of the one Deiago said was our rental . He said sure with a devilish grin as I walked out only to realized he assigned us a blocked in truck . Seeing my frustration with an almost empty tank I our new rental he said don’t worry about the fuel we will take care of it . Lol when we arrived to check in the truck after using about 2 gallons they said it would be 60 dollars to fill the fuel . By far the worst custome interaction I’ve had with U-Haul . Pleas do not go here, and as for the manger that the employees swore didn’t exist, hire people with just any kind of integrity.

Terrible service. Had an issue and called to resolve as I was no where near this location. Was put on hold for about an hour and then they picked up, I heard the background noise, and they proceeded to hang up. Tried again waiting for another hour and they hanged up again.?
We scheduled to have a vehicle lift but unfortunately someone took the one that we made reservations for. U they made it right and Kelsey and her assistant work extremely hard to call all the stores around to make sure that they could find us one they sent us to a couple of stores but we couldnt find anything and then we ended up renting a 7.5 at her store and they were honest enough to give us compensation everything works and everything went off without a hitch and we were able to get everything done on t a timely fashion before they closed thank you Kelsey for A-1 service we will definitely use U-Haul next time and recommend it to our friends and family .five star service
Garbage. Had trailer to move 3 br house. Got email stating rental was switched to motorcycle trailer 3 days before pick up. No communication from staff, not helpful whatsoever when I called to ask about why my reservation was switched without any sort of warning. Nor did they offer to help find any other options.
Terrible customer service, called the wrong number on the reservation to make changes to our reservation. We spoke to Dee Deshay, the scheduling employee for the region, and he would speak over us and called me a psychopath. Don’t know why uhaul lets its employees talk to and treat people the way they do but that was the most unprofessional experience of my life. Don’t use this location unless you want to be verbally abused by a uhaul loser.
Find another storage facility; avoid the U-Haul group at the Colfax location. I went through the rental process on-site and was told an employee in a red Nissan would meet me at the Lipan location down the street in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes I called the Colfax location for an update. I was told someone else was there in a white minivan to let me into the facility. I was waiting at the front door for the individual who never showed. As it turns out, I was supposed to meet them at the loading dock, not the street facing front door. This was the first of many omitted details that made this an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional process. 10 minutes later I called back for an update and was told the individual had opened the door for me and was already back at the Colfax office. I then communicated that I was not able to gain entry to the building. At this point, I was then given instructions on how to access the building. Then, I lowered the gate on the elevator and pressed the button to the 3rd floor. Nothing. I called the elevator assistance button and spoke to an attendant who had no idea where I was or what was going on. I called the Colfax office who then said close two gates and hold the button down for the duration of the elevator trip. She then had the audacity to tell me she had explained all of this to me at the office. The only information I was given was that someone would meet me at the location. Do yourself a favor and don’t give this group the opportunity to turn the simple task of renting a storage space into an infuriating waste of time due to misinformation.
If a below 0 rating could be given it would be below that!! Two young employees who had nothing going when I arrived made one feel I was putting them out for looking into my problem. I have, in the past, had great customer service with this location but much has changed. They have, in the past, installed a hitch and wiring which the wiring has been a problem from the beginning. They replaced it once but this time they wanted to charge a 100 dollars more than what could be done by another company to replace it----It was very apparent from the being, from these two employees, Body Language, they were having a little fun with this old guy with long hair(no hair cut because of the virus].
Best U-haul experience! Diego and Paul made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Even though they were busy they took the time to answer all of my questions. They both made a point to make my renting of a u-haul as seamless as possible. I am giving five stars to BOTH of these gentlemen.
I had a positive experience at this location on July 25, 2020. Everyone I interacted with was respectful, but not loquacious. They have good social distancing measures in place inside. You have to upload a photo of your ID to their system before being able to rent equipment, so if you are making a reservation online you might as well do it then to make your wait shorter. If there are several people in front of you in line who need to complete this process, you could expect easily expect to wait 30+ minutes.
I have been a uhaul provider for years. This location. Holds very little professionalism. Diego ledzma, kelsey young, and alisondria. Are all very condescending and unhelpful. I overheard them talking and kelsey, the one who claims supervisor is sick. During the pandemic right in my face. She even sounds ill. I wont be back and will direct my customers away from this location any chance I get. Im currently sitting out front with a helper and a lead reestablishing my day because of this team! Tread carefully here.

Very professional and friendly service, I think her name was Mandy who helped with all my questions. Definitely would recommend again for quick and efficient service.

Rented a truck and dolly. Couldnt use the dolly for what i needed it for. Only put 2 miles on the truck and they charged me $100 asked if they could help me out with any kind of discount and they couldnt because it had been out too long. I brought it back in less than 3 hours.
Made a reservation months in advance, got told the day before our move that our trailer has to be picked up almost an hour away from where we reserved. avoid u-haul at all costs, your business model is based on your monopoly and take full advantage of people.
BEWARE! Furniture pads may not be sanitized during COVID!!!Rented 10 U-Haul truck for in-town trip to move a fridge. I used 6 furniture pads and a dolly. Returned the Uhaul after hours but 1) app didnt work, 2) website couldnt find my location, 3) spent 30 min waiting on the phone and no answer. Got a late fee but Uhaul Mile High supposedly is returning that to me. Also got charged a cleaning fee because pads were not folded. I do not recall receiving any written or verbal policy about folding the pads. In discussions with Uhaul Mile High rep, when I asked how do they sanitize the pad when they are folded and dont they lay them out first, they could not give me an answer. We are in the middle of public healthy pandemic, and Im left to think that 1) they do not always sanitize the pads btw customers, 2) they sanitize folded pads which seems not truly cleaning them, or 3) they unfold the pads, sanitize them, then repackage them for the next customer. Either way, getting charged $25 dollars for a non-evident policy and lack of cleaning explanation seems unethical and punitive.
Called them to see how much it would cost to have a hitch installed on my car but never got past their automated system because it would keep freezing up on me. I tried several times and could not get through. It is obvious this company does not care about making money or its customers
I booked my reservation through UHaul.com, paid for the rental upfront, and when I arrived at this location to pick up the vehicle there was a balance due. Apparently, according to the snappy gentleman behind the counter, UHaul isnt responsible for knowing Denver taxes. Interesting how a corporate system wouldnt be programmed for taxes.He was quick to point out that if I didnt like it, I didnt have to take the truck. Nice.I was not given the chance to review the contract in the store (which seemed odd) and it is emailed to me later.I do what to point out that the people on the lot were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful.Back to the contract.Once the contract finally arrived, I see that the contract is for $5,263 on $2,759.92 booking. I guess that explains the tax issue when I arrived in store.The rude woman who I spoke to proceeded to give me a story about tax, said something about a system issue, what did I want her to do about it, and suggested that I call UHaul corporate. Great customer service.The people working inside of this location genuinely dont care about their customers. They appear miserable to be there and seem intent on making their customers share their pain.
This office location had the rudest most condescending staff I have ever met. I should note that it was only the staff in the office area that was rude, the staff in the truck yard were helpful and polite and did a great job helping me set up the trailer. The staff when I went in the office area need re-training as the lady at the register talked to me like a dog on his first day of puppy training and the other one played on her phone the entire time.I will say that it was an easy process and the staff in the yard earned a 5 star experience but the staff in the office ensured I will never use U-haul again as I can not see how they have not been addressed yet. Just use Penske rentals.
Over billed me by 30% more than what my contract stated and did not care when I called to complain . Apparently I am not the only one - see their other reviews stating the same .

I reserved a trailer at a different location but uhaul changed my reservation. This location was very unhelpful and in fact they broke one of my straps. I would avoid this location.

Absolutely terrible experience. Rented a trailer and the guy helping hook it up watched me run over my straps and destroy the straps. He didn’t even bother to close the trailer door almost drove out with an open trailer. I place a box order online and they didn’t have the box order so I had to re buy boxes.
Customer service was great, the guy at the counter answered all my questions and there wasnt any wait to pickup my rental. The absolute best part about this location is they have 24 hour drop off! I rented the van at 3 pm on a Sunday, they close at 5 pm. Instead of rushing to move before they closed, I was able to take my time moving everything as long as I had the rental back by 7 am. Drop off was easy and my brand new car was in the lot almost the entire night with no issues. Highly recommend this location!

We used the app to checked out successfully and were given our keys. Upon return Tony (also goes by Paul?) sees our truck number and yells out while walking over Oh youre the one who screwed us up! While pointing a finger. What? No. Im the customer. I used your app, I was given a key by an employee, and if something screwed up it is on your end for not ensuring the process was complete before handing over your property. After informing management of his behavior I was told ...its just how he is. Nope. Wrong again. This is business and that is unacceptable. Fix his professionalism because you lost our business and my networks business. Me and mine seriously care for customer service.

The staff made our moving experience seamless! We used their services for storage and also a rental truck. Every time we went to the facility we were greeted with friendly faces. They were very thorough and knowledgeable. Cant recommend this place enough for your moving and storage needs.
Showed up with a full truck, trailer and two pickup trucks to their storage facility at 530pm (open until 7pm) after packing all day and driving 2 hours. Was told that we could not move in that evening because they did not have staff to let me in their unmanned facility. I had reserved the unit a week ahead of time and received zero communication that there may be an issue. They offered no options and basically told me tough luck. These guys dont even know what the term customer service means. They didnt care about my situation at all and offered no solutions. I wish no stars was an option for how much of a negative impact this staff had on my family move!

I guess it depends on who’s working, but I had a great, professional experience with this location. Picked up and dropped off a moving truck with no issues, everyone I interacted with was polite and helpful. I was surprised by the low reviews that so many people have left.
Charged me for gas even though I filled it back up. Attendant (the one with puke hair) was extremely rude and lied about where the tank was at prior to the rental.

I cant stand indifference or incompetence from people who want my money.The last year was a challenging one, and I ended up needing to rent a truck 6 or 8 times. Each and every time these people were friendly, helpful, and extremely competent. We were in and out in a matter of minutes.When we headed outside to pick up our truck, Mark helped us adjust the mirrors, had the windshield cleaned and made the entire experience extremely pleasant.Thanks so much!!
Was given wrong information 2 Times after having to come back. Bad customer service no one seems to know anything. And was rushed out 30 mins before closing because employees wanted to leave instead of help.
GM provides good service but upon drop off at 635pm there were 5 staff members standing around behind the desk and none of them could be bothered to help unhook a trailer. The response I received when I asked for help was that we arent doing drop offs now youll have to do it yourself. Uhaul website states 7pm drop off time. Go elsewhere.
Im still in line. Been here for more than a half hour and so far theyve helped one person. The guy at the desk has barked at multiple people in front of me for asking if they can get into the storage units or asking for help with an adapter.They are understaffed, incompetent, and rude. Also know as the trifecta of bankrupt businesses.The only part of this experience that was positive was the guy in the lot who was hustling around getting the trucks and helping (actually helping) people. I think his name was Cash - he was great.Otherwise the experience was awful.
The staff here was unbelievable. They were incredible at addressing every customer and quickly and deftly helping everyone. Falisha was so kind and patient, even though it was her birthday and a more hectic day than expected, she never skipped a beat. Couldnt be happier with my experience and professionalism the staff demonstrated.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They will allow you to make a reservation then change or cancel the reservation 2 days before the date when there are 0 alternatives available. Avoid if at all possible. Uhaul customer service is 0 help. Go with Ryder or Penske if you want to be able to plan ahead for a move.
Made a reservation a week in advance for a truck, it was ready when I arrived and picking it up took only a few minutes. Drop off was also easy and quick. Price was exactly as quoted. Positive and easy experience overall.
Absolutely awful. I only dealt with one employee the entire time (both pick up and drop off) and have never been treated so rudely before. I had barely stepped out of my car before the man was yelling at me. Whenever I asked a simple question (I have never rented a truck before) I was instead laughed at and not given an answer. I saw the same man yell at another couple when I arrived to drop off the truck as well. I dont know how any of the other employees are there, but avoid this place at all costs. He even tacked on extra fees at the end because of my lack of understanding when I asked a question. What was supposed to be an easy, cheap rental (I only moved a couple of miles) suddenly cost 2x as much because of this.
Really poor customer service. They’re not familiar with their own corporate policies and store clerks had really terrible attitudes. Corporate should consider retraining staff at this location.
I rented a truck and the truck was in good condition and I am satisfied with this. I am giving this a one star review only because of how rude the front desk staff was. I do not believe that I have had a worst experience with customer service in years. I hope this was a one time thing and they were having a bad day but I fear from reading the reviews this is a common theme at this particular shop. Hopefully I do not have to rent a truck soon again but if I do it most certainly will be at a different location.
Ordered some moving supplies online. They were afforadable and easy to order. The gentleman that assisted me when I got to the store helped me carry everything to my car and was very friendly. Fantastic customer service!
The truck that we rented was unacceptable. If your going to charge 99 cents a mile please make the truck at least worth it. The truck we rented was SEVERELY BEAT UP! There were over 35 Xs of previous damage. On top of that, the truck at 30+plus miles an hour was like driving over speed bumps consistently. Oh, and on a 90 degree plus hot summer day when Im moving, please make sure the A/C works. Customer Service was average at best.
No surprise why this Uhaul has the poorest ratings. DO NOT rent from them. There are many others close by with good people. I was treated horribly by the ex-cons and gang bangers that work here. Thugs to say the least. Apparently I was speaking to the General Manager but he sure didnt act like one. Plus he had major BO - really UHaul? These are problems that everyone seems to have here. Why dont they do something about?

The guys working at this uhaul are thugs. They are rude. They are dishonest. If you go here you will have an issue. Find a different uhaul or a different company altogether. Theres a guy there named Donovan. Steer clear of him. Hes bad news.
Ive used this location before and the time prior I used them they were great. This most recent time however was a HUGE hassle. I needed a truck for moving locally, booked ahead of time. They called me the day before my rental to inform me I would have to return the truck early because they had just rented it to someone else. There was no asking they demanded it. I had to find and pay for extra help to make the time they were requiring me to return the vehicle to them. I had my friend pickup the truck for me and they couldnt use the credit card I had reserved the truck with and they insisted I needed to send them pictures of my ID and credit card, way less secure than just taking the card number over the phone. I WILL NEVER USE THIS TERRIBLE LOCATION AGAIN and I warn anyone else thinking of using them to be wary!

I felt bad when we made the workers there have to (literally) take their feet down from their desks and answer our questions while checking in for our truck. How big is the dolley? You cant see the picture hanging from the wall? Yeah, I see it, but how big is that? Look at the picture. OK, thanks.Terrible customer service, and the truck had a headlamp out while running about as well as you would expect from a Model-T.Sorry for any convenience caused by our coming to you to rent a U-Haul!
Incredibly disappointed with my experience here. The manager was disrespectful, rude, and unhelpful to everyone in their shop. There were 7 customers in front of me when I got in and it took me 45+ minutes to get helped. When I visit other locations, like the one on Federal boulevard, I get much better, quicker, more helpful and friendlier service.

Worst uhaul place ever. Rude staff and not helpful. I can’t even begin to describe my experience here. DO NOT RENT HERE!
Moving was fine but they charged me twice and transferred me around without resolving the issue. This issue is still not resolved.
If you are black do not utilize this location. The fat Mexican manager is a racist. Every time I come here he has to verify me by calling someone I know. Which I found out last time he could use a passport and he refuses to take that. Then he never does that with other people. Then today I called and a Melanie answered and said I could use a photo copy of My drivers license. I spent $375.00 on movers that’s none refundable and it took me two hours by public transportation to get to uhaul to hear that I can’t use a copy. Now I’m out of $400 because the moving is none refundable and the gas is none refundable. These people are LIARS and useless individuals. The service SUCKS!! The workers SUCK!!
Not the fault of this location specifically, but U-Haul will lie to you online and say you can get uboxes delivered here. But they do NOT deliver to this location. Instead the pickup location for them is 8 miles from here across denver in some industrial park. You have no idea this is happening until the day of pickup when you arrive and they tell you you are at the wrong location.
DO NOT utulize this location, the manager is inept and the staff lies and/or will not do their job. They have no problem charging you but the refund process is so hard they refuse to do it, apparently. Horrible experience!
I had went to get a trailer to move some furniture from Denver to Fort Morgan and when I arrived they told me that they didnt have any ball hitches left for my vehicle so they sent me to home depot to get one and when I was at the home depot I had to call uhaul and ask what size I needed and they replied with we have some here in stock so I drove back to uhaul and bought a ball hitch and then they ended up charging me twice for the trailer. And to make matters worse, they told me that they didnt have any adapters left in stock so they had me drive to another uhaul place to get it. This whole deal lasted about 3 house and I missed work because of it.
Unfriendly staff and saw one harassing someone on the street for no reason. Not to mention they now think they own legal Denver city street parking.
This location is great. The guys that work here are efficient, knowledgable and nice. They checked me in and out quickly. The truck ran great and was the correct size based on their recommendation.
This location is out right rude and ignorant. They want your personal information first before even telling you rates. Just so they can sell your email address to marketing companies. Complete dirt bags.
I was holding off in writing this review in hopes that U-Haul could effectively resolve our issue, but unfortunately there was no satisfactory resolution reached. We had reserved a truck for a volunteer event we were participating in for which there was a small setup window, and needed to change the credit card originally used for the reservation for reimbursement purposes. We entered the office in hopes of getting this done. After waiting an absurd amount of time for a short line, we spent 45 minutes working with the owner, Mark Martinez, who was obviously inept at his software system. After having issues with one kiosk (and giving our info multiple times), we moved to another kiosk where he still struggled to adjust our reservation. We all have bad days and software can be challenging, but Mark was rude, unprofessional, and even resorted to using colorful language directed at us to express his frustrations. At one point, he strangely asked that I not refer to him as sir.We eventually gave up, and asked him to charge the original card. We were finally given the keys, and we left to find our vehicle while Mark was mumbling under his breath in frustration. We got into the truck and realized the gas gauge was not accurate, but decided to not bother correcting this due to our tight timeline. When we returned the vehicle later that day, we left it cleaner than we found it, using a broom to sweep the entire bed of the truck prior to dropping it off. Days later, the card we were trying to change the reservation to was charged, along with the original plus a “cleaning fee” applied. After repeated calls from both my partner and I, we were finally able to get the charge removed from the second card, and the cleaning fee removed. However, I never received a call back from any manager despite numerous requests, and no further discounts or concessions were offered despite our inconvenience. I will not be returning to this location.
Called ahead to find out if they fill propane tanks. Was told they do so I traveled to their store to fill my propane tank. Waited for about 15 minutes while attendants attempted to fix the computer and got no attention. When someone did finally aknowledge my request to fill tank the fellow falsely claimed my tank was too old to fill. Went to a professional propane shop several miles away and inquired about tank valve and was informed it was up to modern safety standards and they filled it for me. Was very unpleased with piss poor service and being run around unnecessarily by U-haul. The dude was not decent for providing misinformation.
This location has some bizarre policies in place to rent a vehicle. Among them giving them the name and phone number of a friend or family member and texting them the front and back of your license. NOOOOOO! Texting personal information is not encrypted and a recipe for financial fraud. Go anywhere else but this place. Disheartening that companies feel that they’re entitled to your personal information because of the actions of a few bad people.
I moved across country from Texas to Utah. I had rented a 20 moving truck with an auto transport. Just as we got to the Denver area we started to notice that there was a problem with the auto-transport. I called customer service and they directed me to the Mile High Station for assessment and possible replacement. They guys there (specifically Austin and Oscar) were absolutely awesome! The auto-transport had a cracked weld so they replaced it. When the lights on the new transport wouldnt work the guys crawled around underneath to replace a corroded connection in the wind and the rain so that our trip wouldnt be any more delayed than it was already. Cudos to the staff. I have never had U-Haul staff go above and beyond for me like that and cant say enough about them.
Unbelievably incompetent people. I called and asked to move my drop-off location to Durango rather than use a Denver location. I was told by Marcus that since it was a one-way rental I can drop it off anywhere free of charge. Since I was given permission, I dropped it in Durango. However, once I went to drop it off, the Durango location said I was suppose to drop it at Mile High Uhaul. They made me drive 700 miles roundtrip back to Denver to drop off the trailer or else Uhaul was going to charge me $500 additional dollars. Unreal. These guys will lie to get out of trouble from the brass, dont update their systems properly, and absolutely screwed me. I WILL NEVER USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN.
Had an excellent experience, Chad made it extremely easy and stress free to get my rental going! second time using these guys, and will be back.
DO NOT RENT A UHUAL BOX FOR MOVING. Had our boxes dropped off at our apartment October 29th,2018 and picked up at November 2nd. Everything went perfect. Boxes were supposed to leave Denver on the 11th, dropped in Rhode Island the 14th and delivered the 15th. Hadn’t heard any updates by the 14th and had a bad feeling. I was right, they hadn’t even left the storage facility in Denver. Didn’t arrived to me until the 19th, 3 days late. 3 days doesn’t seem terrible, but the fact that I spent 2600 (oh and don’t forget about all those hidden fees!) dollars on this and all they can give me is a ‘50 dollars every day it is late’ is ridiculous. Honestly, I’m curious to know if it would of ever shipped out if I didn’t call. The people (all 7 transferred calls) were shocked it hadn’t left yet. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Please whatever you do-use someone else’s services.
