Ive driven by this restaurant multiple times for the last year and decided to try it out last week. SO GLAD I did! Its really good! Took these pics with my camera so REAL, fresh food. Plus, Michelle is the best wait person Ive met in a very long time. Went 2 days in a row and brought friends bc of her. Will make this a permanent spot and I love that its family owned.LOVE THIS place!

1st time here, wanted to try a new spot.. it was meh. The service was ok, the ambience is alright, but the food was mediocre. What was good were the drinks, but we were also told at 9:20pm that they had closed 20 minutes ago (on a Saturday??) Yet when we were leaving there were still other folks in the restaurant/ bar. While it wasnt bad probably wont return. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The happy hour here is pretty decent. I forget the times, but the plates are perfectly sized and priced to share apps with drinks. They have a good variety of beers of tap as well.

This is my first visit here. Our daughter suggested it. I was impressed by the owner who took us to our table. We had made reservations ahead. This establishment has been around and doesnt meet ADA standards but you can get around from the Bar, patio, and front dinning room. Otherwise you are faced with some steps to access the back dinning rooms. The food was excellent. Full flavor and spices. They have a large assortment of cuisine. We mainly stayed we Mexican style dishes. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick. Ill be back this restaurant when I come back in town.

Perfect Greek restaurant for dates. This place is the best blend of upscale and reasonably priced quality food. It is so beautiful, especially the electronic candles and atmosphere. The folks that greeted me were absolutely splendid. Highly recommend for Valentines Day

Service has been better in the past.This was my first time at Citron Bistro for Brunch. The menu looked fantastic! I ordered a Bellini and the Peaches and Cream French Toast. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles, which comes with cheesy eggs. Unfortunately, my dish was not fully cooked. It appeared the French Toast was only cooked on one side. Perhaps lacking in staff but the restaurant was not busy. We were at our table with our food for 8 minutes before we had to ask a passing server to get our server. A new plate came within minutes! My poor rating is due to the lacking service.Our table was cleared by a young man clearing other tables.The server did not return to the table after that except to give us our check. We were looking forward to another mimosa and Bellini and catching up however, when we were presented with the check, we also received the customary No rush. We actually took the lack of returning to the table or asking if we wanted anything else as a cue. We placed our credit cards in the billfold. After 10 minutes, we thought it best to just pay cash and depart. Our server did not return to the table.I have been to this place for special occasions but for dinner. In the past they have given military discount. I would not, at this time, recommend brunch on Sunday.

I always have delicious meals here! And they hit the mark on what I crave- for a refreshing tomato and cucumber salad, look no further. Plus it comes with warm pita to that is honestly amazing! Would also recommend the spicy hummus as a sharable plate. They have nailed the mark on the perfect ratio of spicy 🌶.

For what it is... It is okay.Nice sign outside. Good people inside.Time for a menu overhaul. Dont try to do everything mediocre. Find your niche and do it well.

Great staff. Got seated quickly even though it was the dinner rush. Attentive wait staff. The food was well plated and arrived hot but there was a lot to be desired in the way of seasoning. Everything was bland and the avocado on my Citron burger was not ripe enough yet. Will go back but will definitely order something else.

We don’t live close or else we would be there every week. Great food and drinks, reasonable prices and friendly and attentive staff. You can’t go wrong here

I stumbled upon Citron Bistro out of a hungry desperation when several of my go-to restaurants in the area had closed prematurely citing shortened pandemic hours. The lovely staff at Citron graciously welcomed me at an hour when others wouldn’t, and that is one of many attributes that I am grateful to them for. Since discovering it for the first time just about a month ago, Citron Bistro has become one of my favorites, and is now on my list of go-to eateries in Southeast Denver. The food is always exceptionally fresh, and no matter what I order, I am always delighted with my meal. The staff and servers are happy, accommodating, and expert at their crafts. Additionally you’ll find that the atmosphere is warm, comforting, and inviting. With those that have previously dined here my review will sound familiar, and for those who have yet had the pleasure, I eagerly encourage you to visit! I give them my highest recommendation.

Ordered some lamb chops online pick them up nice and hot and ready to go so amazing with flavor juicy delicious I’ll definitely order again and they are well priced 13 bucks for three but ended up getting six altogether about 30 bucks including taxes I definitely recommend the lamb chops I will be back for more

I had the best lam shops ever. Very tasty and fresh. My mom and I got a bit of a stomach ache, her more so than I, she ordered the prime rib though. So not sure. Good service.

Second time being here and service was amazing both times. Food was fantastic, highly recommend the Margaretta flatbread. Will be coming here again.

This place is always amazing it’s a nice relaxing spot and the crowd is typically elderly which I truly enjoy. Food quality is amazing I have had almost everything on the menu and haven’t ate anything I don’t like.

I was somewhat skeptical coming here at 1st but once I sat down the food was amazing. I had the lamb rack and my boyfriend has the kabobs. We had no complaints and the service is friendly and fast.

A Hidden Gem for sure:Just discovered this lovely place at lunch! It is in a sort of off beat location near Hampden and Yosemite east of I-25. Pretty brick exterior, heavy old world doors, outdoor eating area encircled a low wrought iron fence plus umbrellas and a fountain too. Inside has a cozy atmosphere even though it is rather large. Big fireplace and chairs, wood and brick, bright back bar well stocked... Feels like visiting the wealthy older aunt or uncle you never knew you had at their European mountain chalet. The food was fresh and portions were generous. The gyro was well seasoned and the fries perfectly crisp. My salad was expertly dressed and tasty with good proportions of all the ingredients. Friendly fast service. I look forward to trying their brunch.

Friends took me to Citron Bistro for my birthday. It was wonderful: atmosphere, staff, FOOD, the entire experience. Ill go back for the Lamb Lollipops -- delicious -- and the Angus Burger. Highly recommend!

We came for lunch and enjoyed the food and service. Theres a wide variety of food options to choose from including Greek and American. We had the spanakopita appetizer, calamari salad (on special), tomato parmesan soup, chicken salad sandwich and chicken/walnut/cranberry salad. All were excellent!3/19/21Finally got to come back for a Happy Hour. The staff was very mindful of health restrictions.We had a variety of plates: Feta small plate, hummus small plate and happy hour Margherita pizza. Also enjoyed a variety of delicious martinis; blueberry, lemon drop and chocolate. Everything was delicious and our server Luke was fantastic!

I just had to get out of the house and I love Citron and it turned out it was happy hour--a GREAT happy hour menu and I felt VERY comfortable, as they are still being Covid-careful. I sat at the bar and they had distanced seating. Ive been vaccinated, but still want to be careful and I felt really safe--thank you Citron!!

Our neighborhood go to place for their chicken fried chicken with jalapeno gravy. Really off night. Even the wife, who never complains, found it tough and lacked the usual seasoning and flavor. The chicken patties have become thinner making then exceptionally tough.

Thanksgiving meal was absolutely amazing! Beyond words to say how thankful we are to have this place in our neighbourhood. The pies are spectacular. The turkey, beans, sweat potato, dressing, cranberry sauce, etc...yum!!! Quality ingredients for the price and service...each staff/cook person really is appreciative for their guests...I felt like family.

We went for restaurant week. Food was delicious, especially the lamb. Nice wine, staff was great and nice cozy atmosphere. Loved it.

Very excellent customer service. Its a bistro so I always come for casual events such as today just for a quick lunch, but its so fancy inside and they treat you like royalty. My favorite item is the avocado fries. They thick slice an avacado and fry it with pa co crumbs then serve it beautifully with homemade aioli sauce. I tried their fresh brewed ice tea and I was pleasantly surprised as this is the best tea Ive had in a very long time. I tried sitting outside today and there were so many flowers, you can tell they take pride in cleanliness and aesthetics! Great time here as always!

We made a reservation, and after being sat, it took a while for us to even be greeted. Our server was nice, but the service throughout dinner was painfully slow. From the time we asked for our check to when she finally picked it up was a legit 20 minutes, which is a lifetime when you have a toddler tagging along. I don’t even think she came back to our table after our food was dropped off.The food was okay. I got the souvlaki plate, which was fine. Our dessert (chocolate soufflé) tasted like it was microwaved, and ice cream had frostbite. Even the toddler wasn’t interested in it. I want to like this place, but the average food paired with the insane slow service makes this a place we won’t be coming back to.

Everything was delicious!!! We were hear visiting from Dallas. Texas and Googled a restaurant that sold lamb chops (because thats what my cousin wanted). We had the lamb chops (AMAZING), avocado fries, meatballs, margarita pizza, asparagus, mashed potatoes and corn chowder soup. Very thankful for this discovery. Would definitely go back!!!

Went for Denver Restaurant Week. The food was very tasty but overall felt like they were trying too hard to be something theyre not. My salad was delicious but the kalamatas were not pitted which led to some problem solving on how to gracefully spit out pits. For the entree I opted for the lamb chops - cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned. The sides were very yummy as well. The creme brulee was disappointing and would have been better described as a layered custard as there was no caramel layer to break through. I was hesitant to even take the first bite as it was clear the custard was prepared wrong - it looked like scrambled egg. But Im glad I did because the flavors were great.

The timing on the order was quick and efficient. I had never been there so I really had to look for their curbside pickup. The text messages let me know exactly when the food would be done. I was not sure what to do when I pulled. So I called to let them know I had arrived. Their site has no where to input vehicle make/model. After letting them know I was there I than paid over the phone because i didnt see any where to on their site. They than ran out the food have cash tip and left. When we got home my husbands food was dry, he ordered the traditional gyro because it had great reviews. Well not our experience.

First visit and we were there for happy hour. They had a nice list of wines and drinks. We ordered chicken wings to share and they were good and normal style Buffalo chicken wings. The bar was full due to COVID restrictions so we were sat in a dining area that lacked ambiance. The bar was much more appealing and had a nice ambiance. We might have stayed for dinner if we were seated in the bar.. We will return.

Dont be fooled by the stellar reviews!Nothing more than hush money!Just ordered the Gyro with fries... The wrap is rubber, the lamb is not lamb.. more in the ball park of dried out 2 day old roast beef, 3 tiny strands of onion and less than a table spoon of sauce ! Nothing more!The fries and the meat both less than room temp!...(6 minute drive) Save your money and your high hopes! Nothing authentic or fresh here!

This was a fantastic place, not only did we have excellent service from our waitress Michelle but we also had very quick service with absolutely delectable food I was blown away with the speed and the quality everything on the menu was great that we tried and we were glutes Big shout out to Michelle probably some of the best customer service Ive had Thank you guys

Been there twice recently. 1 dine in and one take out. Mostly off the Happy hour menu. Good Wine and Superb grub. Lolly pop lamb rib. And Greek salad. Thanks to local Becky Bex for taking me there.

Greek food and the setting at this spot is very good. Entered near eleven, it wasnt packed. The service was very sociable and kind. The bill was well within reason for the quality.

Service and location were fantastic but food was just ok. Got lamb chops medium, one was mid rare and seasoning was a little bland.

Lamb shank, salmon and chicken fried chicken were great. The green beans and squash were al dente, the mixed drinks were weak, and served in in large glasses. The restaurant was packed which put a strain on the wait staff.

This was my second visit to Citron Bistro (last was a year ago). The menu has a wide range of dishes capable of pleasing everyone. Wine and beer menu are worth a look. The lamb sliders with tzatziki sauce were full of flavor with crispy fries.

One of my favorite places for greek food. Its so appetizing. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. It has a cool atmosphere. Not close to my job, I wish it was.

The staff was friendly and had great recommendations. Every dish that came out was delicious and the prices are spot on for the experience and food you get.

This is by far my favorite restaurant. One of my sons and I are GF and their menu goes above and beyond!!! They actually have dedicated GF meals, they don’t just take things out to make it GF as other restaurants do. If you are GF, you know what I mean. This is a family owned place and they are all top notch. I love seeing the family there and participating. Now let’s talk about the wait staff. They are the BEST in the Denver Metro area...maybe even the state! More than one waitress remembers my kids and I. They stop and say hello even if we aren’t “their” table. One even remembers my drink and cute personal information. She takes interest and asks about our life. They really go above and beyond. The bus boy/runner is even super friendly and pleasant. If you have not been here, you need to give them a try!!!

Citron Bistro is one of our family favorites. Their menu is unique in the fact that they add their own flare/twist to a common dish. For example, their chicken fried chicken is the best I have ever had. The twist on this comfort food is they use jalapenos in the gravy. I do not like spicy, the amount they used was exactly enough to give it something different/special but not go overboard on the spice. it was perfection! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and their drinks are right on the money as well. Try it, I bet you will love it!

Great place for Sunday brunch.

After driving past this place for the last few years we finally decided to stop in and we are so happy we did! Despite being short-staffed the server/bartender was very friendly.The lunch menu has lots of variety and very reasonable prices. I had the feta bifteki (yes I had to Google what it was too) and she had the beef souvlaki. Both cane with a Greek salad with HUGE pieces of an amazing feta.Nice atmosphere, great food, and good prices mean we’ll be back!

They have terrific Greek and American food on the menu! Over the years I have had many of the selections. I have never had a bad meal at this place. Never! Before the pandemic my family and I ate here at least once a month. I am overjoyed that it has reopened. We will go back again soon!

Food mostly down hill...processed and from frozen. Ordered from bar menu...did not get...but full meals instead...very expensive. Salmon below average...greek chicken dinner gloppy.

Food was good but the service was a bit slow, I ordered togo and was waiting for like 5 min before I was greeted then waited another 5 min once my food was ready because no one was standing at the reception.

I like it very much. Food is tasty & service is good.

The food was incredible but Alecia was very inattentive. We didnt have our drinks filled once and there were 30 min intervals in between anything she did for us, including paying. Our dinner service took almost an hour and half and the restaurant was moderately busy. But again the food was excellent. Will return to try again.

Great food and service, everything was delicious, the only exception was that the salsa served with the guacamole tasted like it was out of a jar. Get the mojito, theyre delicious. Our daughter ate so well, which never happens so its a win in our book!

One of our favorite go to places when we are craving greek. We love the gyro platter. Salads are amazing too. All the ingredients are fresh, homemade, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of food they serve. Ive been quite a few times and Ive never been disappointed. Service is always great too. Fantastic neighborhood gathering spot for happy hours or dinner, lunch and weekend brunch. Family owned and operated with owners on site regularly. Theyve retained the same excellent staff for years from bar tenders to servers and the food is creative and prepared with care. Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is a perfect blend of contemporary quiet for dinner and bar area friendly for shorter gatherings.

Great drinks, great food, great people. Its a nice, chill place to sit fireside or on the patio. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Were there at least the nights a week and have yet to have a bad drink or underwhelming food. Every dish is great, but the lamb shank is life changing!

Absolutely loved this place. The bartender (Zach) was great. Best Dirty Martini weve had in a long time. Wings were spot on. Nice crowd. This would be our go to place if it were in Superior, but well still go anytime were in the area.

It was excellent! I had the Mediterranean pasta and it was perfect. My brother had the French dip sandwich it also had a beautiful flavor. Hank was our server and recommended my dish. Please go and enjoy, it is a gem ! 🍝🍹🍷

Eclectic menu. Mediterranean, American and Greek. Enough to choose from. I had the chicken chimichangas. Rice was delicious! Beans were salty. Everything else was delicious. We also ordered steak. Cooked properly to order. Waitress was very pleasant. Decor is beautifully done for holidays. When you arrive, the guests can sit in front of the fireplace. Comfy and cozy environment.

Lemon drop was delish and the tazatziki was OUTSTANDING!
