The best bakery in town!! Reunion bread doesnt only have the best pastries and bread in town, but also the best service! I am obsessed with their golfeados, best Venezuelan sticky buns ever!! I also just tried the Alfajore, DELICIOUS!! I mean look at all the layers of chocolate! And is not too sweet which makes it perfect!! My mom loved it too!!You have to try it!!! Everything in the bakery is worth the wait in the line! The babka, the almond croissants, the CHURRO! Everything is amazing!!
Hands down the best bakery in Denver!! The staff is super friendly, and the owner is awesome! The quality compares to no other in town. If you are looking to purchase anything from bread to make out of this world sandwiches or toast to pastries that satisfy your craving...Reunion is the place to go! Highly recommend!!
Best almond croissants and pastries we ever had! So fresh and delicious! Great friendly service. If I loved in Denver I would definitely be a regular customer. I wish there were more bakeries like that! Highly recommend !
Got the almond croissant, churro croissant and pastel de nata. The pastry in the pastel was beautifully flaky, as was the churro croissant, but the almond croissant was pretty good You can really taste the butter and the almond. Great texture for pastries. Updating this review as I tried the golfeado, a Venezuelan pastry. So good its my new favorite!Ive yet to go back and try the alfajor, Portuguese sweet rolls and cardamon sticky buns. Also, Jeff was great and accommodating!
I had the Golfeado (morning bun) and the combo of salt+sugar was fantastic.I see why this place has nothing but five stars. I literally walked an hour in the snow just to get here and I would do it again. Update with one con: A $6 almond croissant is definitely on the pricy side. You can also order ahead.
The most delicious bakery Ive eaten at! Friendly, wonderful staff! Something for everyone. We went here both mornings we were in town because its so yummy!
Golfeado. Omg. I didnt know what I was missing. I came here straight from the airport after reading about this place, and it did not disappoint. I originally wanted the croissant churro but they had just run out (it was just after noon). Fortunately for me, they just had a fresh batch of their signature - golfeados, a Venezuelan pastry using croissant dough with sweet and savory notes (think crumbled cheese and star anise). I was skeptical at first since as a Chinese guy Im used to star anise only in savory foods, but man was that layered pastry delicious. Just the perfect amount of crunch and then the soft flaky inside. Im starting to drool just thinking about it again. Try it, you wont regret it.Hot tip: they only do espresso drinks for coffee, so try the other coffee shop across the hall for more variety.
They bake the best, the flakiest ham and cheese croissants Ive ever tasted. Friendly staff is a plus as well as the different places to sit and enjoy the delicious pastries.
The best bakery in Denver, hands down, and some of the best pastries I’ve ever had. The cheese sticky bun was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had, and the lox and cheese croissant was amazing too. So were all the other items we ordered.
The lox and gruyere crogel is one of the best bites weve had in Denver in a while — delicate layers, well balanced flavors — and the guava croissant and baguette are perfectly executed too. Five stars for sure!
This place is amazing. the pastel de nata taste exactly like the ones we had in Portugal and guava croissant is amazing. if you are in Denver this place is a must to stop by try their delicious baked goods.
Reunion is the best bakery in the state of Colorado, hands down. This bread is the only thing keeping me sane during quarantine. They always have a wonderful variety of delicious breads, but recently on the weekends, theyve been offering bundles that are so much fun and a welcomed break in the monotony of a covid world.Recently I purchased a bread and butter flight (!!!! I know!) And they had a memorial weekend package with meat from a local butcher, veggies, pickles and aioli from acorn. I dont care that I cant go anywhere for the holiday, Im taken away by reunion! Plus they had brioche buns in the package, which Im making lobster roll (buns?) with!Their staff is wonderful and help out in any way they can. They now offer local deliveries too! I want to be selfish and keep them a secret, but theyre too amazing not to share.
I love this place!!!! Theres nothing here that is not absolutely delicious!!! The best thing would be to order online the day before and go and pick it up the day after. They sell out of many things early
This place is my favorite Bakery in town. The quality of ALL their products is the finest and they are super nice people. Definitely make my day every time! (It’s super popular so it’s best to order the day before through the website... my favorites are the olive Za’atar, Portuguese pastry, and everything else ^^)
Hands down the best bakery in Denver! They never disappoint and have the best customer service. Highly recommend. Definitely a family favorite.
One of my favorite bakeries around! You really can’t go wrong with any of their pastries or bread. The butter they use is amazing and you can see/taste the difference, especially in their croissants. The lamination is excellent, and some of the best croissants I’ve had. I also highly recommend their granola, but be warned that you might not be able to return to grocery store granola once you’ve had a taste.
Worst customer service everGreat product which makes this hard, but we generally go elsewhere now. Even when you place an order the night before you’re almost never going to get what you want. Since January 2021 I’ve placed 11 orders and only one of them was correct. There’s just no excuse.
Stumbled into The Source with my friend during our last day here in Denver from a recommendation and saw Ishmael working the beginnings of the croissant. So we asked how can we try this. He recommended we stay to get a fresh taste of his workings. After some time, I went back to see if the croissants were done and although he fed me with some granola to hold my hunger, the wait was well worth it. I took my first bite into the fresh croissant and the crisp outer texture of the baked goodness was what I expected out of that bite. The inside and overall taste was super delicious. Ishmael then gave me a surprise baked good of one of his signature baked goods, which was his take of Golfeado. Wow, this was like a sticky bun had a baby with a croissant filled with cheese, it blew my taste buds away. You must try this place is you like delicious fresh baked goods in the morning, I broke my 30 day carb free diet for it.
Easily the best classic butter croissant I’ve ever tasted in my life.
Absolutely amazing breads and pastries. We also got a latte and a cappuccino that were both fantastic!
Ishmael and Matt are just starting up but this place is going to be amazing. We were in the source and these guys just invited us in for a tour and gave us amazing pastries and bread. They are clearly mission focused and pumped on being the best. The Golfeado pastries were absolutely next level. My girlfriend worked in a bakery and called it the best pastry she has ever had. Highly recommend you check them out.
Reunión Bread is an awesome bakery. Not only the bake goods are the best in the area, but also the service is top notch. This place is located close to the Source hotel, but in a separate building. The bakery has a great atmosphere and is surrounded by other shops and interesting restaurants. My top recommendations are the Venezuelan “Golfeados” and the Churro Croissant, but I can guarantee you that you won’t regret trying all the goodies that they bake in this place!!!
I really wanted to love this place. We are visiting from out of town and researched breakfast places beforehand. This was the top of the list so we came down right when they opened at 8am. I was excited to see the Lox croissant on the board out front as well as on the online menu. I ordered and sat down to wait for my food. After 20 minutes I went up to the counter and was told that they needed to resend my order and that actually they didnt actually have the lox croissant but could give me a ham and cheese instead. I agreed and was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Finally received my food 55 minutes after I placed my first order. The croissant was insanely good but the wait time and poor service ruined the entire experience for me. Super disappointed!Edit: Thanks for the reply. I understand a slow roll out but then maybe having an actual person taking orders instead of using an online ordering system with incorrect info is the way to go. Even having someone actually make the effort to bring us our food instead of just dumping it on the table out front without even bothering to call out a name would have helped us feel like your staff cared about doing things right. We only had one night in Rino and wasted our breakfast time on you guys. It just felt like no one actually cared about offering good service and that is such a shame.
Just had the chocolate croissant and OMG the best I have ever had. Fresh, chocolatey, and super buttery and flaky.
Ordered online and the confirmation said itd be ready for pickup at 10:45AM. Got to the bakery at about 10:55. There was no one else there - no line. Told the person at the counter we had an online order and it was clear by their reaction they had no idea we had even placed an order. They told us one of the items we ordered wasnt available but the rest would be out in a few minutes.25 minutes later we had our food. It was a small order. Just a couple pastries and a drink. I dont know what went wrong on their end. Maybe 2-3 people came through in the time we were waiting so its not like there was a crowd.
Hands down, the best bread this side of San Francisco! Try the cranberry/walnut . . . And oh, the croissants! Would have to fly to Paris to get one this good. 😊
I am from Portugal and I can say these Pastéis de Nata are the real deal. Its as if Im in Lisbon eating one. Ive lived on the east coast where there are portuguese restaurants and cafés and none of them can make a Pastel de Nata like Ismael at Reunion can. Parabéns! We will be back! And we already spread the word!
Just walking in to pick up my order the place smells like heaven. I dont know what magic they use to make their croissants and Venezuelan bun so crispy on the outside and so light and melt in your mouth on the inside. You might have to wait awhile and they sell out quickly but its all so worth it!!! (Fyi for out of towners its located inside The Source so you can park in the garage and walk there)
I LOVE REUNION! First of all if youve never been to The Source you NEED to check it out. It is such a cool place with everything your heart could imagine. Restaurants, clothing, breweries, and a dope little bakery called Reunion Bread Co. I had heard through the grapevine about this new little gem in Denver and decided to make the trip to go see what all the hype was about. Needless to say I was not disappointed. Such delicious baked goods with simple ingredients which is what I love! Ismael, Matt, & Katie were so welcoming and really made me feel like I was special. I walked out with a full tummy, some granola, and a banana bread. I cant wait to come back and try more. Reunion Bread Co is a company that makes every loaf, croissant, and baked good with love and I believe that is something that we could all use more of :)
They were out of a lot of stuff by noon but thats no fault of theirs. What we were able to get was a classic pain au chocolat and a lox and cheese croissant with everything seasoning. The pain au chocolat was good... but the lox and cheese wow! Another level and very creative. We came for the guava which was out of stock but we found something delicious and unexpected.
A Very Special Bakery Worth Every Visit!!Amazing croissants and specials.. had this amazing morning bake with cojita cheese!! Arguably the Best in Denver. I havent seen lamination like this since France!! They also know how to make an espresso any Italian would be proud to serve.
Best croissant I’ve ever had, super soft and fluffy!
Phenomenal bakery. We kept coming back for more pastries to share with our table!
The waiters and waitresses were full of faith, zeal, and determination as they entertained me. This was the restaurant that, in my opinion, I will never forget.
This bakery has ruined other baked goods for me. The baker is friendly, clearly cares about their work, and it shows in the pastry! Definitely try the sticky bun
The pastries are great!! If in area enjoy!
This is the BEST bakery I’ve tried in Colorado. I would dare to say in the US. Everything is delicious! Croissants, pasteles de Nata, golfeaos, breads, alfajores, pavlovas, anything you order will by far exceed your expectations! The best part? It’s attended by the owner, Ismael. He will make sure your experience is flawless, unique and unforgettable! If you have not visited this place, you are missing out for sure!
We love coming to this place, the experience with the product and staff is always amazing!!Thank you for making such a great experience for us.🙏
I found this place online-the pastries were AMAZING! Worth the 20 min drive. I had a little trouble finding the place since I’m new to the area and the owner was so nice he came outside to flag me in.
I was very disappointed because the quality of the bread has gone down. I bought the blue corn sourdough bread today noticed it looked like something else. The manager on duty Jeff said the bread was blue cornmeal. I took it home and sliced the bread open to see no blue cornmeal. I took a picture of the bread will bring back tomorrow for refund.
An absolute 10/10. The pastries, the coffee, the owner — all wonderful. We were on vacation from out of town and stumbled across this place. So glad we did! We tasted the churro croissant, the banana bread, the lemon pastry, and some lattes. All were so incredibly fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to come back the next time we are in town!
I loooove this place. The best best best Venezualan bakery in town.
Great BaguetteIt is difficult to find a good baguette in Denver as many try to imitate the real thing from Whole Foods to Trader Joe’s. In the search for good croissant and pastries, the folks at Reunion are doing an excellent job. Attention is given to all ingredients to make make your experience worth the time and effort to drive across town to get the best baguette in Denver.
Excellent Bakery and great peeps! As a professional in the industry I can attest that this a consistent high quality operation. Please support them as much as possible in these trying times for the food service industry!
We tried to visit but the bakery was closed. We didnt realize this and the system took our order. The company emailed us an apology and to make sure we would get a refund. I appreciated the incident being taken care of and wish I couldve tried the food.
The bread is exceptional... don’t skip the chocolate croissants! Yum! Michael provided excellent service as well! Great operation! Be sure to visit!
Wow! Everything (multigrain sourdough, golfeado, and almond croissant) was delicious! The golfeado was a new one for us and it did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back for more.
Hands down the best banana bread I’ve ever had!... don’t tell my mom I said that!
So good. Just go.
Favorite bakery in Denver. Do your self a favor and come here.
The only outstanding food I’ve had in Denver. This place truly rocks.
This place is amazing! One of the best bakeries in Denver! Best customer service. So, we showed up at the end of the day on Sunday and they served us even though they just closed. Bought a bunch of croissants. They ended up spliting with us this new thing they were working on that is absolutely incredible. OMG you have to put in on the menu. I wont throw you under the bus and say what it is since its not official, but we want more! Thats the type of place it is. Super down to earth and friendly. Never know what you might end up with. You must try if you are already reading this .....
Good coffee, cranberry and walnut sourdough is excellent, and the golfeado is a must have.
Sooo tasty and the staff are really kind!
I drive over a half hour to buy this world class bread. Support a local food artist and enjoy healthy amazing bread.
Amazing bakery!.. Delicious croissants and Golfiados!!!Great service. Very friendly and helpful staff. The incredible smell, will guide you to the place. Very recommended!!
Best Croissant 🥐 in Denver‼️
The pastries are THE MOST flakey. Seriously so good! Really friendly can kind staff too!
Everyone at our table was very satisfied. The service was very friendly and kind. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.
I ordered online a Churro Dulce De Leche and an Almond croissant and it was brought to my car while parked in a numbered parking spot in a timely matter. Covid safe! That said....Everything in my life after this moment will forever be downhill if I don’t ever return. One of the best bakeries I’ve been to. Quality. You have to go!
Amazing products. Just come here
I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. Ambience reminds me of San Diegos scene.
At Reunion, they treat you like family, often times letting us try some of their products before buying them. its always a great experience.
I want to borrow into a loaf of bread from Reunion and just live inside of it. This is the first place I bring friends and family who are visiting from out of town. The Guava Croissants are sublime
This is THE BEST bakery in Denver slash the states [yeah, i said it] with the most fun and giving staff. I dont think Ive ever left here without a sample of Venezuelan hot chocolate or delicious pastry that becomes a new favorite. You cant go wrong with any item and make sure to grab lots of loaves of banana bread and babka to give to family and friends during holidays.... or just to show some love :)
This is the most amazing sticky bun and latte combination I’ve ever had.
Wow! Amazing Sourdough
The people are so nice here. Their baked goods are great too.
9:45am and they were sold out of almost everything. Not a big deal, but it happens a lot here.
Reunion is by the far the best bread in town--their dedication to craftsmanship, detail, and ingredients is second-to-none. Try the olive loaf, golfeados, nata, and almond croissant, but know that you cant go wrong with a single item on their menu. Thanks Reunion, Denver loves you!!!!
My wife and I were enjoying cocktails at the bar right outside he bakery. When all the sudden Ismael shows up the a tray of left over bread/ pastries he was giving away as they closed up shop for the night. My wife picked a piece of sticky bun, and I as I looked over the tray he suggested I try the almond croissant. Oh my goodness, it is by far the best croissant I have ever tasted. Every bite silenced everything around me. It was just me and the croissant. Even minutes after my last bite I was still savoring the flavors hanging on my palate. I immediately jumped up and walked over to the bakery where they were cleaning up for the night,m. I declared to Ismael how amazing it was. His response was short and simple, “I know”, reflecting a man who knows well, with confidence, the craft he brings to the table. Thank you sir for the treat!
Best pastries you’ll ever find in Colorado. No words can describe it, I recommend you try it for yourself. Worth mentioning the staff is really friendly!
I was at The Source eating at one of the restaurants last week and couldnt help but smell bread baking as we walked past. I stopped by Reunion Bread and the owner was nice enough to give me samples of the bread he was making even though the bakery isnt open just yet. The bread was AMAZING. Thanks Ismael, we will definitely be back to buy more once you are open :)
Great baked goods and really friendly staff! Took home almond croissants that were insane and an awesome olive loaf that was good alone or in a sandwich.
I love this place. It has an awesome atmosphere.
I have bought so much bread from this place now. The reason: why would I buy bread anywhere else? This place has the most friendly bakers and the best bread by a mile (no Colorado elevation-based baking pun intended, I swear!). And if you like baked sweets they have so many wonderful and delicious creations. I almost didnt want to write this review because I want all the delicious bread for myself. Youre welcome.
A true gem. I live in another state but visit Denver frequently, and every time Im in town a stop by Reunion is a must. The croissants are to die for (so unbelievably flakey!) and the banana bread is my all-time favorite. Its absolute perfection and loved by everyone who tries it- in fact, we always bring some extra loaves back home with us for family and friends. Stop by and share the love!P.S. My husband and I found out about Reunion when staying at The Source. We shared an elevator with two young women who were each clutching a gigantic loaf of bread. Have you been to Reunion? they asked us. No... my husband and I answered. OH MY GOD YOU MUST GO. IT IS THE WORLDS. BEST. BREAD. Magical words to a fellow bread lover.Thank you young women for your excellent advice!
Finally, a true artisanal bakery in Denver! All the rustic breads and pastries taste superb! I used to work in a bakery and I highly recommend checking it out. It’s so cool to see all the bakers working and rolling croissants. Also, the granola is a tasty show stopper; definitely worth the trip for the granola alone.
Wow I love reunion bread! I stopped by on a sunday afternoon with a couple friends and Ismael invited us behind the counter and ended up giving us a full on baking lesson. We got to roll out 5 lb slabs of butter for croissants and shape dough into loaves, and the whole time Ismael kept pulling bread and pastries off the counter for us to try. What a dream. Probably goes without saying that its all delicious.
Ok..so..this place is AMAZING. not only for the quality and taste of the bread, but also Ismael is so nice and friendly and invited us back to look around and even let me take home some sourdough starter!!! definitely a winner and will be coming back!
Reunion bakery makes the BEST bread and pastries in Denver. Must try their sourdough variations, croissants and golfeados. Pure heaven.
Highly recommended! I was looking for a place to grab something delicious and healthy and randomly I found this wonderful treasure... But I am not selfish so I am going to share this amazing place with you, guys! :) I had a delicious artisan brown bread 🍞 with different options of vegan toppings, and it surprised me as I did not know they are vegan friendly. Beside the food, the service was great by one of its owner - Mr. Smiley face Ismael. Many thanks, Ismael, you made my day last week without expecting it. See you soon, when I am back in Denver. Jancarla xxx
Just WOW. I bought a loaf of sourdough this morning as I was waiting to meet family. I’m always down to grab a loaf of bread from a bakery I haven’t tried, but THIS...This is the best damn bread I’ve ever had!!! Baked to literal perfection. Perfect crust, perfect crumb, perfect flavor, AND it was still a little warm. It is now 4 hours later and I’m tearing through this thing with no end in sight. I neverrrrr go to the source, but now I fear I won’t be able to stay away. I think I finally found my bakery. Thank you for baking such goodness and warming my bread-loving heart.
This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly and their bread and treats are AMAZING! I highly recommend! If you are in the area do not hesitate to stop and get something from their shop!
I grew up eating great pastries and bakery (Portuguese family). This place is the new best bakery in town. It is worthy the drive !1 word = Wonderful!
