BEWARE. Salesman was great, told me that the hard white spots all over car would come out at detailing. He was gone the next day. Spots still there and no help from dealership. They didnt put a temporary plate on the car (really). I had to pay $50 fine for this before I could get plates. When I called I was very rudely told that theyd see what they could do. Of course - no reimbursement. Im sure there are some honest people there, I just wasnt lucky enough to work with any.

Derek Torrence is a great salesman!Bought my first vehicle here about a year ago. I had checked prices and test drove a few vehicles before and after visiting this dealer and ended up coming back. I can assure you I had the best experience at this dealer over all. Especially with Derek Torrence helping me! He didnt act like the stereotypical sales man. Great experience, went in to test drive a truck I found online. Too much work needed to be done to that truck so I was shown other trucks. Test drove a few trucks and found a dodge ram 1500 that I purchased. The truck is in great shape inside and out, runs great with lots of power.

Got a good deal on a truck a couple months ago but I did have to take it in within my first week of owning it for a few minor repairs.

Was talking to the dealership for a week. Explaining that I could not get to Denver due to work until the weekend. I showed up with an buyers agreement from them and pre-approval/check in hand. When I got there they just sold the vehicle I had been working a deal on. Shady and unethical.

Stay away from this place, i was willing to pay cash for a vehicle and have been calling them for 3 weeks regarding a vehicle i liked to get for my wife for her birthday. Each time i was told that the vehicle was in the shop to get a gasket fixed. The last call i placed i was informed that the vehicle was returned to the auction because they wouldnt have made any money on it. Repairs would have been too much. The individual i talked to then informed me that the vehicle had been in the shop for the last 3 months... Thats what you call deceptive practices, why not tell me straight up? As of this point the vehicle is still listed as well online for sale even through they do not have it anymore. He also mentioned to me that about 30 people were interested in said vehicle, so what that means to me is that 30 people got lied to about the condition of the vehicle? They lost my business and it should raise a red flag for anyone wanting to do business with them.

I bought a van at family trucks and vans after weeks of being lied to that it was in the shop. I finally got my new van and everything they claimed was fixed at the shop was not the shop did not put in any of the plastic pieces that secure the wheel well so as I drove down the street the wheel well got ripped off. They claimed the shop fix the power steering pump two weeks later my power steering pump went out completely after owning the van for less than a month and repeated calls to family trucks to get the van fixed again for the work they claimed was done the sales manager or nobody has contacted me I’ll leave messages I’ve called they don’t care that this van is unsafe and is a lemon I do not recommend using them or trusting them. They will not make it right even if they claim they’re going to fix some thing they will not they’ve lied to me every step of the way saying that they would fix things that never were fixed they say “ i’ll call you right back when I look into this and never call you back“ don’t buy their lemon used vehicles. Update here it is almost October the van that needed repairs that I was told was fixed was never fixed I call the shop weekly and still have not been able to get my vehicle in for repairs The sales manager has called me and complained about this post but yet still has not offered a solution or help on getting the vehicle fixed or running as I was told it would’ve been up and running from the time that I bought it I plan on filling a complaint with the better business bureau DO NOT WORK with this company they are scammers and LIERS

The sales consultant (Derek Torrence) that assisted me was helpful, however his manager was very condescending, rude, and outright lied. The vehicle my family and I were looking at was a white 2015 Ford Escape with 87K miles, the passenger side mirror was taped onto the car and the brakes squeaked and squealed as Derek backed it out of the parking spot for me and my family to test drive. I should have taken that as a sign this would be a bad experience, but my wife really wanted to take a more thorough look at the vehicle before ruling it out as a possibility for our family of four, expecting a third, because it had second row captain seats and would be easy for our son to get to the rear row. The vehicle drove okay other than the brakes squealing at cruising speed and when stopping and not being able to adjust the mirror, so I told my wife we would see if they would offer any discount off of the 22,900 sticker price. As an alternative, I also asked if he could see about the option of trading in my 2008 Tundra and paying off the difference if we took the Explorer “as is” if they couldn’t discount the vehicle. Derek went to talk with his manager, whose name I didn’t even get, both came back out and the manager was quick to quote a firm extremely LOW trade value of $5,000, more than half the lower end of KBB trade in...and then proceeded to say that my vehicle was “way over the mileage for its year and the explorer was well under its mileage for a 2015 AND I should feel lucky that they were willing to sell it “as is” at $24,000 with fees because it was worth $28,000 and just about every other 2015 with similar mileage was 28k.” Lies!!! I literally had a page of the other explorers (same year, one even with significantly less miles, all between 20k- 24K. He told me “I sell cars everyday and you’re only looking at one, so I know these things...you can take it or leave it”. I’m a 39 year old Army military intelligence veteran and one thing I can tell you...I always do my research before I purchase a car...extensively, and that sketchy 2015 explorer (using its VIN) is actually valued considerably less than what I was asking per KBB. This was my second less than desirable experience with this dealership, the first wasn’t necessarily bad customer service. I actually looked at one of their 2010 Tundra back in 2019 before I purchased my current. It had average mileage and was in fair condition mechanically, but came with a smell that seemed like it had a water leak from the sunroof or a window. When I asked about it they said they had just got it in, I doubted their confidence to clear the smell even though they were adamant they could take care of it...I didn’t buy it. Fast forward two weeks, I purchased my current Tundra from another dealer, older but well under mileage for a 2008 and decided to swing back to see if their “recently received 2010” with the wet skunk smell was cleared...still smelled! Derek Torrence was the only bright spot during my visit,but Saturday was my last visit to Family Trucks and Vans. I understand they are used cars, but I did not get the impression that a you are likely to get a quality vehicle from this dealership or consistently good service from the management staff. We live about 60miles away, I wouldn’t want to drive back and have to rely on them to keep their word to fix any problems they promise, as 2 out of 2 of my visits ended due to questionable vehicles situations and a poor interaction with management.

Be careful for predatory loan practices at this location. They sold my friend (who unfortunately knows nothing about finances) a car for $32,000 at a 19.99% interest rate. Im actually not sure how legal the entire situation is. Remember to always loop in a friend who knows what theyre doing in terms of finances or locations like this will take advantage of you.This location had no problem tricking my friend into ultimately paying $50,000 for a $30,000 vehicle over the course of 6 years while living on minimum wage.Seriously, do not sign any paperwork at this location because they will not think twice about taking advantage of you. I suggest learning about interest rates before ever investing in a vehicle, especially at a shady location like this.

I did all of it online with Jalen Ragsdale and when they was ready for me he called me and I was there less than 45minutes and it was that long because I took a long time on the test drive. How many times have you gone to look at cars and the salesperson seems to not hear a word you say. At Family Trucks and Vans that 100% does not happen. Luis heard our needs, budget and wants. He was up front, genuine and most importantly he listened to us. He was never pushy, or unwilling to show us vehicles, find out information or let us take them for a test drive. Got screwed over by the sales staff here. I had 5k down payment and pre approval but we were waiting for the vehicle to get to their lot and confirm the model. The salesman said he would confirm and hopefully get some photos for me. I followed up 3 different times within a month with no progress. I spoke to them today and they tell me, oh, well we sold that vehicle... I have text messages dating back over a month with promises from the salesman. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. The manager kindly offered to try and find me a similar vehicle but I wont be giving them my business and I suggest you do the same.

Chuy helped us get an incredible deal on a Nissan NV2500. he helped us get the monthly payments we budgeted for at a great rate. We’re converting it to a camper and couldn’t be happier!

All in all I have to give all the credit to Derek for getting things done with my truck purchase. He was very helpful, and listened to my needs. I had to swing by the bank which was not close, and they brought the truck to my house as well.

Do not go here. Sold my friend an f150 with 90K miles on it, we knew the tires were bald, so we went to go buy new ones at a tire shop and discovered that the dealership swapped the rims to ones that were flat, not round, on the bottom. After about a week, one of the doors stopped opening. After about a month, the engine started misfiring. A week after the brake light comes on, and replacing brake fluid (that it said was low) did nothing. We discover that an exhaust valve is dislodged and we have to buy a new engine. After a couple months, the truck’s 4x4 doesn’t work right and makes terrible noises. A day after that the ABS and advance trac stops working. Then a couple days ago a radiator hose blew and left us stranded for 3 hours while we tried to fix it. Don’t ever buy from this dealer. They sold us a lemon.

I originally gave them 5 stars but I officially retract that and am giving them 1 although I feel they deserve 0 . Before purchasing the vehicle I specifically stating I needed all taxes to be paid ( state, city and county ) at the time of purchase as part of our deal and that they where to take care of this. I was told by Derek “ absolutely we CAN do that.” He even asked what city I was Going to register the vehicle in so he could get the correct numbers. He then affirmed that “ Yes state, city and county taxes where added to sale of the vehicle.” And that all I would have to pay for plates. Cool so I bought the vehicle although I should have known something was up when I was rushed heavily through signing process ( my mistake first time buying a vehicle.) I know still owe 2300 in taxes that I thought where taken care of at signing this is an absolute huge inconvenience and I feel They were extremely dishonest just to get a sale on a vehicle and I will not be recommending them nor buying any other vehicle through them. My suggestion is take your time make sure everything you discusses in writing and no matter how fast he try to rush you read every last word.

Sergio was very low key while showing us the inventory, very transparent without any pressure. He is the epitome of the car salesman that I wish to work with. Came to look at the GMC, Air Vents inside of the car was missing so was some of the plastic trimming Around the back seat, Back Wind shield wiper was completely gone The vehicle was absolutely filthy with sticky Coca-Cola stains Everywhere( I hope it was cocacola), They wanted $9500 For the disappointment with a 155000 miles on it.They could have it least cleaned it before showing it to the customer But instead he told me (I dont have time to watch vehicle cleaniness if I did I wouldnt have time to Sell them).I call shenanigans on this Mickey Mouse Auto sales.

After writing my negative review a manager reached out to me and has since done repairs to my vehicle and compensated me for a portion of the cost to repair the truck. They have addressed the issues and made an effort to make things right! Everyone makes mistakes but what we do about them is what matters, as people, businesses, institutions etc... I love how this company does business! I found a truck online that I wanted to see, a 2016 Chevy Silverado for 24k . I made an appointment to test drive the truck AND I even got the application process started so that everything ran smooth. JB the sales woman called me to confirm and asked if I had any questions regarding the truck, I didnt at that time. I live in northern Thornton so with traffic it took me an hour to get there, I left work an hour early so I could be on time for my 6pm appointment. When I get there JB is busy so another salesman helped me out and you can tell he didnt even want to be there. Then we go looking for the truck and they cant find it. So apparantly the truck was taken by a third party they work with. But once I made a fuss about not receiving a call to inform me so I didnt waste my time the story changed to the truck needed an engine. I told them Im here to buy a truck so Ill look at other options. We found a 2014 Chevy with more miles for 27k. I said Id look into that one if they were willing to work on the price. The salesman immediately started the we dont make that much money line. It was a 3k difference Im not dumb they move enough inventory to discount 3k but the salesman claimed they only make $250.00 on the deal. I asked to speak with a manager to see if I could STILL by a truck despite all the negativity. Apparently the GM wasnt willing to even talk about a discount. So they let 24k maybe more walk because they didnt want to help me after their screw up. Waste of 2 hours. Thank you for your wonderful customer service. I would love to know your secrets of how you let money walk and stay open.

They sold me a truck that was completely broke. Robbed me of $8,000 cash and never used it on the down payment when they said they would. I will be taking them to court as I have found out this is completely illegal. They also stated I had a 30,000 mile warranty or 30 months. I have replaced the oil pump, thermostat, ac compressor and small things like the antenna lights. And a shorted brake wire. These people are a disgrace! Every other vehicle I looked at had problems too. Dont trust their mechanics. They cant even do a safety inspection correctly. Shame on you guys!Update ill see you guys on court!

Derek, Jalen, and Alberto were great to work with. They all took extra time to make sure and answer all of our questions made sure our Jeep buying experience was good. While we are still dealing with Covid they made sure that all paperwork that could be completed outside was and prior to signing all of our documents inside they had everything ready and waiting so our time inside was very minimal. Unfortunately we did get a check engine light that came on after leaving the dealership. The team is continuing to work with us to make sure they are taking care of the issue.
