Fun shopping! Always fascinating, friendly volunteer staff.
Weve been going here for years. Great store, great charity! Check hours first (Covid19). Have fun!
Interesting place. Lots of unique items. Plenty of pretty china from various countries. Many choices for silver Cutlery in beautiful cases. Theres also jewelry, artwork, knickknacks. You can choose to consign or donate.
Great staff! Helpful and professional.
Great place helping a great cause. Ive sold and bought a number of things through them. Also have sweet, helpful customer service and very professional. If you wanna help the Childrens Hospital and dont care to get top dollar because of the donation, then Le Cache is fantastic.
This is a place which embodies win- win! Such beautiful items at wonderful prices and benefiting Childrens Hospital. I brought in items for consignment and for donation. Information prior to my appointment for consignment was 90% informative. Run by volunteers but very organized and friendly.
Great vintage and antique household items AND benefits childrens hospital. WIN WIN
Friendly store with great antique selections. Evan and a few other staff members have an amazing amount of knowledge about antique and products. Better yet, 40% of any sale goes to support Childrens Hospital.
They will NOT let you use their toilet.Bad business.
We sold a lot of antique glassware and Waterford here. They are fair with the price split and always pay on time. The products they sell are always the best quality. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The profits also go to childrens hospital.
Cool little shop with the occasional great find, but honestly some of the rudest staff ever. Every time I have come in the store, regardless of who I have dealt with, their sales staff has always made me feel VERY unwelcome! Staff are always rude, ignore their customers or, conversely, hover over you like you’re planning to rob the joint (not sure how many 30-something year-old men in suits are coming in and making off with the marked-down commemorative Disney plates, but you’d think it’s a recurring issue the way they act at times). No need for the outright dismissive/unfriendly behavior; three strikes, you’re out Cache. Charitable organization or not, there are other places to shop.
They only sell high quality merchandise in each of its categories, i.e., flatware, glassware, dishware, furniture, artwork, etc.
Tons of beautiful things to look at. Great staff of volunteers
Love to “inventory” this great shop whenever I’m in Denver. Great cause to boot.
Great selection. Consignment pricing. Great staff.
One of Denvers best antique stores for higher end pieces. Very reasonable prices given the quality of goods and proceeds go to an excellent cause, the Childrens Hospital!
La Cache should be called La Leftovers, since the public is buying what the volunteers dont want. In 30 years of loyal patronage and spending thousands of dollars, we have been able to buy exactly two to be priced items. the rest went to the volunteers. we know this for a fact, since at least two volunteers have told us, When the contracts come in, we buy, buy, buy and our families just go crazy.. The very last day we were in and again missed a to be priced item after checking 3 times that day, we told the volunteer we knew a volunteer had purchased it as soon as it was priced. her response? So, i dont have a problem with that. we deserve first dibs because we work our butts off. were entitled to something, arent we? i dont have a problem, sorry. another time we asked about being called when an item is priced (instead of coming in 2 or 3 times a day, trying to catch the item being priced) and were told this cant be done--too much work. this is not true--we have seen notes on items volunteers call so and so--he wants to buy ALL of the botanical prints when they are priced........... once i was in the blue light room my sleeve brushed a wine glass--it fell and broke. the volunteer rushed inLooks like you just bought 8 wine glasses. to pay for the item, i expected--the snottiness i didnt. Well, lets head next door and she force marched me to the main showroom. oh-and we donated back the other 7 glasses. having the public pay for broken DONATED items? seriously?dont take yourselves too seriously. especially since we saw a gentleman in the main showroom break a CONSIGNED item. the volunteer rushed over, patted him on the arm and and whispered We can take care of this. really? who the hell was he? one day we were in and a volunteer at the front desk was pricing donated items. there was one item i really wanted. i didnt ask for a price, just waited patiently until she got to it. i saw her price it, rushed over and said ill buy that! she said, No you wont, i bought it then whipped out her carbon sales pad and sold it to herself--for $3.00. it was a salt cellar worth about $75.00. i know her name but wont divulge it--meow. when you consign an item and it is refused for consignment, you are told to donate it or pick it up. but dont be surprised to see this item they refused to sell on consignment on the sales room floor--for say $50,00. this happened to us. something that is refused for consignment should NEVER show up on the sales floor--since it has already been refused as (1) an item they dont sell or (2) worth less than $25.00. if a donated (consigned) item IS sold, it should never be for more than $25.00.of course, donated items that come in the door can be sold for anything, we know that. refused consignments which are then donated are an entirely different matter. the policy should be Pick up or your items will be discarded.we have known many dealers and customers over the years who have thought of filing a complaint with the BBB over la caches business practices but always decided not to, with the Childrens hospital connection. surprise folks, la cache is not a charity nor is childrens hospital. charities provide goods, services and care AT NO COST to the indigent and those i n need. do all of the funds la cache forwards to childrens hospital go for indigent care? no. ask childrens hospital how much of their annual budget is for indigent care. the Assistance League of Denver is the gold standard for charitable organizations in denver. la cache would do well to follow their organization to aT. the AL doesnt allow its volunteers to shop until the last half-hour of the day. items that are priced and put out during the day are available to the public FIRST, FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. we have not been in la cache for over a year (after 30 years) and dont plan to return, i will say in closing, that in 3o years some of the ladies we have come to meet and love there, are some of the most gracious, beautiful, kindest and generous human beings on this planet
Very beautiful . Win-win for Childrens Hospital.
Amazing non-profit thrift store.
Best place to shop for antiques n rare finds cuz part of the proceeds goes to a good cause. It is an antique consignment shop for Childrens Hospital run by lovely volunteer ladies n a few gents.
