The staff are basically Jeopardy Champions of Entertainment. Only complaint are the hours. Great place to just walk around and look. Always find a gift here.

We brought a box of older DVDs and some CDs. About 80 items, and waited about an hour for them to review them. They said some were too scratched or empty boxes (fair enough). But then gave us $5.05 or $9 in store credit. Waste of time and effort!!! Expected at least a little more. Should had just given it away for that….

The employees are nice. I bought & sold. You wont get much for your CDs or DVDs but if you dont want to sell them online yourself it is an easy option. I dont a total of 93 items and got $32.60. I cleaned out my living room & got some cash so it was a win. They RENT DVDS. They also sell a ton of other random stuff. Comic books & memorabilia, t-shirts, video games, systems & accessories, magic cards, sports collectable cases, toys, and other collectables. They also buy gift cards but I am not sure how much you get for them or which ones they buy.

After my horrible experience at Movie Trading Company in Lewisville, I decided to go here. When I walked into the store, I was greeted with hospitality, respect, and assistance. Not like the other store. I was also picking up a gaming consul for my friend. The associate that I talked to, knew the item, and had it right there for me.The store was AMAZING! Also, I had a great experience exploring all the items they had in the store. Again, the associates at this store are very nice, and helpful! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!!! 👍

We LOVE at his place! The staff is so nice, makes you feel like family. Definitely watch for their deals as they often have buy 1 get 1 free or buy 2 get 1 free coupons around all holiday weekends. That’s when we stock up on Disney it Marvel that never goes on sale. We love this place and our daughter loves the toys!

Went in to check the place out. Was super pleased with customer service. The gentleman behind counter stopped what he was doing to greet us. He walked away from what he was doing to talk to us and then took time to explain rentals to us.Personal service and personable. Great experience!!

My wife and I decided to try out movie trading company for the first time and had a wonderful experience. A young man named Zack was very helpful and attentive to all our needs. He made sure we were taken care of and really went out of his way to give us a great first experience in this store. I cant speak for the company as a whole but based on my shopping experience at the denton store with Zack, I can tell that this location has a high bar for customer service and friendly, knowledgable employees. We will definitely be returning customers, and reccomend this store to all our friends.

We like to come in with the kids and peruse. It’s a cool place, a little eclectic. I like that I can typically find studio ghibli movies here and the occasional hard to find old cartoon movie. I’m trying to introduce my kids to the movies of my childhood lol. My husband likes looking through the games. It’s a neat place to take a look at and you never know what you’ll find.

We spent about 100$ on games got home and three of the 5 games were missing the disk. Called asked for manager the lady said she was the manager. She was not apologetic at all. Even after I told her we drove 30 min to visit there store. When we came back a few days later we asked to speak to the manager and both the man a woman working said they were the manager and apparently 5 mangers work in this store. Really? I was treated like I was an inconvenience. I will not revisit this location. Maybe instead of 5 managers just hire one competent manger.

Good selection of hardware and software for current and classic games, with plenty of movies, comics & music as well. Older equipment can get expensive tho, so be careful. All-in-all, a nice place tho & I visit as often as possible.

Highly disappointed at their rudeness. I understand the times, that is no excuse for sarcasm or rudeness. Will not be going back, would rather buy things online from someone else.

If I could give less than one star believe me I would. Good place to buy movies, etc. but TERRIBLE place to try and sell your things to. The sign says they wont rip you off and theyll give you your moneys worth but thats just a lie.I went in today with my boyfriend to sell 2 complete movie sets(5 in each), a 3 movie set, and a collector edition movie set. All of which are worth $20 or more each. Keep in mind they were throwing stuff at us that they didnt want. And to top it off they offered $13.00 cash. Are you serious?! We politely said no and the person helping us, (Ben) storms off and doesnt say another word and starts doing something else. Great customer service. We have to gather all of our stuff up he threw everywhere and leave without even a have a nice day or even a smile. He acted like we wasted his time when its his JOB to examine stuff before they give a price. Hes constantly rude when we go in to shop, or try to sell. Just terrible customer service.

I walked in not expecting much. But Wow!! they had old movies I havent seen in ages. Good quality DVDs. And tons of new movies. Prices were not to high. I will go back for more DVDs.The staff were super busy with stocking and pricing. It was easy enough to track them down though.

This place is a complete treasure and I can spend hours in here lost just looking at everything. If you are into video games, old toys, GI Joe figurines, anything that small and collectible this is the place for you. They also buy gift cards and at a very reasonable rate. Everyone is always really nice and I hope this treasure stays for a while. Denton needs all the cool places it can get.

Nice mix of old and new entertainment and collectables. People are knowledgable and friendly. They have a well organized store. And prices are not to bad. Go by and take a look some time. It was fun showing the kids what we played with when we were there age.

The staff is not only helpful to us grown ups they engage the kids as well. My son is a true gamer and loves this place. Thousands of new and used movies, toys, gaming equipment new and used. Tons of options!

Brick and Mortar Video stores and comic shops are few and far between but this place carries an amazing selection of both under one roof.

I bought my niece shoes here for her birthday and they were brand new, not part of their resale goods. She needed a bigger size and they said they would not do any exchanges at all even though they were brand new, purchased within the last week, with the tag on. They even had them on the shelf like 2 feet away. Ive worked retail and I get it they should just really inform you that you cant exchange sizes before buying since that is standard practice.
