Awesome selection with great prices. I have been a loyal customer of the store owners for over 16 years. They have a wide variety of selections spanning decades. If you are looking for some kind of obscure comic or item the staff will either have it or know where to find it. Finally, its quite reassuring that a business owner cares about the safety of his customers.

Its a great place. But they definitely over charge on some merchandise. Esspicly Pokémon cards. Also have a brother in a wheelchair who carries his bathroom supplies in his backpack and one of the employees kept following him around. My brother finally got sick of it and told him that he doesnt steal and asked if he wanted to see his pee bag. The guy freaked out because he knew was in the wrong and stumbled his words. Then he went and walked back up front. The staff can be a little to nosey at times.

We went to Denton to take my daughter to a meet up with a/ friend. Stop at more fun and I found cyberpunk red . A have to own game for me. No time they close at 7pm on a Saturday? We where there to buy and the employee where @o busy trying to get us out the door. We had entions of speend a few hundred there they lost that literally..

Many collectibles and games available in stock and at better rates than other stores in the area. Fantastic customer service, clerks always happy to help find anything Im looking for and make competent recommendations. I live an hour away from here and its still my number one stop for card games, miniatures, and tabletop

I love coming here with my boyfriend, I always find the manga,figure or dice that Ive had my eyes on. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

I had a great experience picking up books from here today. I both love and hate that they limit hot books to one per customer, but glad I was able to pick up several key books I (and my friends) was looking for. Unfortunately theyll have to get their own since they limited me to one copy, but I personally am happy. The staff is personable and friendly, and I cant wait to go back. The only downside is parking, but that affects all of the shops on The Denton Square.

Like most of the other 1 star reviews my issue is with the covid guard at the front door, my husband, myself, and my 2 yr old daughter came in today, my husband and myself had on a mask however my toddler most certainly did not. He told me she needed a mask, I kindly let him know she was only 2 and not capable of wearing a mask, he then stated again that she needed a mask, once more I said she is 2 she cannot wear a mask, she will rip it off. It was then that this young man found it appropriate to yell at me and say that she needed a mask if she was going to walk if not we would have to hold her. We spend A LOT of money at this establishment but after being yelled at over something like that we will just take our business to amazon where the prices are cheaper anyways. Also it was weird to me that when we went a few doors down to the toy store owned by More fun that her not wearing a mask was no issue.

Got exactly what I need with friendly and knowledgeable service and because of that im going to keep going back

When I was in college, More Fun was THE reason comics became such an important part of my life. Great recommendations, knowledgeable staff and some of the kindest people out there.They’re even handling the pandemic with grace and care for you to stay safe AND see what Spider-Man is up to.

Went in on Memorial Day with four grandchildren who wanted to do some shopping. Immediately on entering, I was asked to put a mask on. I responded that I was fully vaccinated and wouldnt put one on, per the CDC and President Biden. The two young, enlighted geniuses manning the store proceeded to tell me I needed one regardless while spouting herd immunity. I tried to explain that I was part of the immune herd but at this point, I was being shouted down by their arrogant self-rightousness as they threatened to call the police. Yeah, we left the store and wont be back.

There was some guy with a greasy manbun at the front door. I was fastening my mask loops over my ears as I neared the door and he said, The mask needs to be ALL the way on, sir. ... It was obvious I was putting the mask on, and it was already over my face by the time he said it. It was HOW he said it, not just that he did. Then he tried to sell me an overpriced comic I told him I had no interest in, but still followed me around the store talking about it to the back of my head for a couple minutes.

When I first started school in Denton, it was hard to find a place that I could pop into and browse to relieve some stress- and then I was introduced to this shop by a friend. I’ve been coming back ever since! The store is always clean and the staff is always super friendly no matter what day I show up. You can’t find a better comic shop in Denton. Also, their selection of DnD dice is so diverse! You won’t be disappointed!!

I took my first fiancé here. I buy my sealed Pokemon here. Pretty soon Ill buy the whole place. lol. Anyways, I love this place! Just your LGS!

This shop would have become my favorite comic store because I love to be on the square and adore many of the stores there, but after being shoved out of the door by an employee before I even really got into the place, I will never shop here. How can you treat people that way and expect to have a business?! I will shop elsewhere!

A little bit of everything.Cards, comics and board games. Ive ordered many comics and received them quickly and in great condition. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint isnt really a complaint. They need a bigger shop in a location with more parking! Great shop! Great atmosphere!

I usually love going to this store. Recently, I accidentally entering the store without a mask. Totally my fault, I haven’t been leaving the house much so it’s not second nature for me to grab my mask. The employee immediate started yelling at me that I had to have a mask, so I apologized and turned to leave. He continued to follow me out of the store and yelled at me that is was a state law to wear a mask. I told him that I made a mistake and he kept yelling at me. I was legitimately terrified from the encounter. I get that times are difficult, but he didn’t need to follow me out of the store while yelling at me. I attempted to contact the owner about the incident, but didn’t receive a call back. We will not be back to this business after the way I was treated.

Very disappointed in my recent visit. I had a mask but was told that hand sanitizer is required to enter the store—I’m not able to use it due to a medical condition and was told that even if I kept my hands in my pockets I was not allowed to browse.This was a special trip—I drove more than an hour to visit the store since they had something in particular I was looking for. I purchased the item on hold and was only told AFTER the transaction that they could provide gloves. During the whole encounter the “door guard” employee’s tone was very rude, threatening, and aggressive, though the man at the cash register was much nicer.Needless to say I will NOT be back for any reason. This may be a local game store, but it sure isn’t friendly.

Great selection of comics, games, toys and figurines. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Being next door to Atomic Candy ensures a happy family experience (provided you can find parking on the square).

I usually like this place but I went in and the told me to leave if I dont put my mask over my nose. I have a breathing condition that would cause me to basically suffocate if I cover up my nose like that. We purposely went very early and on a weekday so it would not be crowded. There was only one other person in there besides me and my wife but they still wanted me to suffocate I guess. Shame.

I found this place to be a really good place!!! They are super friendly here and they are not pushy for you to make a purchase. They let you look around and take your time. It is family friendly. The people are great.

Great place for all things nerdy (comics, games, even action figures). Its a modern store with just about everything you would need. Great staff that seems knowledgeable and are friendly. Only reasons for not giving 5 stars is that it can be difficult to find and get parking (right on downtown square), they have no back issues section, and finally if it is crowded it can be difficult to get around because the space is so packed and filled to capacity.

Great selection and helpful staff. I was able to fill in a few holes in my collection. The comics were actually in some semblance of alphabetical order which is more than I can say for most stores. They were knowledgeable and helpful. Ill definitely stop by next time Im in Denton.

Place feels huge after the remodel. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledge. They always seem to have something I havent seen elsewhere too, which is always cool. Wish I lived a little closer, would be here more often.

They have everything from toys to apparel to comics, games, sooooo many comics, and much more! They also have many classic comics if thats what youre looking for. It unfortunately tends to be on the pricey side so be prepared to spend a bit, but there are also some good bargains on a few things. I didnt get the comic I wanted as it wasnt available, but the neat sections allowed me to find a comic for my nerdy needs! At $6!

Owen is the best. Hes always on the ball and even has stuff set up for me even when he has the day off. Dude has some serious customer service skills. Anyone reading this hes the red headed guy

Excellent selection of board games, tabletop games and accessories, and of course comics! Large amount of new DC, Marvel, and Indie comics, easy pull list service, and friendly staff great at helping recommended comics! Not exactly the closest comic shop to me, but Id go an extra ten minute for this place anytime!

I enjoy everything about this shop. They have comics, TPBs, and books to suit everyones preference, tons of games and game accessories, statues/figures, and on top of all that the staff is always eager to help and seem genuinely happy to be there.If you read comics regularly, they also do pull lists and reservations.

Excellent selection of games and other oddities. Staff knows the games they are selling and are willing to help customers find what they are looking for even if the customer doesnt know yet themselves.

A little cramped, but... This is really a pretty nice game store to visit. They have some hard to find board games that are reasonably priced, sometimes a little high but pretty much on par with what you might find online.They also have a fair collection of comics and figurines, if thats youre thing.I enjoy going here for the board games and always find something each visit.

This comic book store always has comics in stock and overall has a great selection for the space they have. The prices are reasonable (often cheaper then Amazon!) and is a fun place to check out on the square. I recommend their board game location down the street too.

Went in looking for dice for a table top role playing game.The staff was incredibly friendly, and not in that creepy would this guy please leave me alone sort of way.This store focuses a lot on Board Games, Card Games and has a very respectful comic collection.The store is somewhat cramped though, if you are at all claustrophobic then dont go here if they are busy.Overall not a bad place at all, but more space would make the place more inviting. It would also allow them to expand the areas of their inventory that are lacking.

More fun comics and games is a mighty fine shop that sells more than just comic books.You can expect a helpful staff with a variety of comic books AND board games to choose from. They also have a rotating selection of action figures and POP toys if thats your thing.The only complain i have about this place is the size. They need to upgrade to another slightly bigger location on the square. They can barely accommodate five customers in the store if you assume staff will be out and about offering help. Youll have to squeeze by to get around.

Fun shop for board games. Can spend hours looking around in there. Limited selection of old, boarded, or graded comics but its an entertaining store that belongs right where it is on the square!

Staff didnt even take notice that we were there. They were too busy talking to each other about their weekend plans. First words said to us were the final price when we went to the register after spending 20 minutes in the store. I suggest Madness Games and Comics down the road instead; they are friendly from start to finish.

Another good small Denton shop FILLED with everything you want and more. I have spent hours here and still want to come back at least once a week. Their new issues are a bit hard to find at first but thats no big deal because the people there are really helpful and knowledgeable.

I love this store. Its a great place to go for all your nerdy needs. They have dice, comics, board games, books, and general nerd wearables and such. The real highlight is the staff -- everyone is really knowledgeable and seems to enjoy what they do. Multiple times Ive had someone make suggestions for me or run to the back to get something that was out of stock. The prices can be a bit high on certain items but usually no higher than the suggested retail value, and they also have a lot of good deals. It can be hard to find parking but thats how the Square is.

Knowledgable about deck-building games and helpful with all of their merchandise. Great clearance section and neat stock of rare items. All in all, its what you should come to expect of a fans comic book store.

I would normally say that when youve seen one comic book store then youve seen them all. This one seemed more fun, maybe because it was a summer night and we had walked over having a couple drinks. Really fun place to kill some time.

Cool little comic shop. Though a bit cramped on the inside, they have a great selection of comics and respectable amount of board games. Like most shops of their ilk, youll pay a bit of a premium for the novelty items (board games, namely), but thats to be expected.

Amazing staff that are super helpful and knowledgeable finding any game comic or Manga you could be looking for. They are also just great to talk to to try to learn about new interests or find new hobbies shows or something along those lines that you would enjoy last time I was in I talked for about 30 minutes with the employees about random anime and board games with both of us exchanging things we could look into to enjoy

Yes. I wish that the inside was more spacious, but dont let my opinion on that deter you. They have games I grew up with, games Ive read about in books, and games Ive never even heard of before. The great thing is, you could walk in there with no knowledge of what youre looking for, and the employees would be able to find a game youd enjoy based off of what you already like to do. They know so much about their products, its ridiculous. Theres also a section for comic books. They have the entire collection of The Walking Dead. Theyve got Pokemon cards... pretty much if its a game (not a videogame), theyve got it.

Its a comic book shop, whats not to love? They have a great selection of board games and a modest variety of RPGs.

The only issue is it gets crowded quickly, and getting around can be a bit of a thing. This is because of the building, and not the store being poorly maintained.This is the best comic and game shop in Denton.

Awful customer service! Changed price of a Pop figure from $10 to $25 when a spelling error was found on the box MID TRANSACTION! No lie! When it was pointed out to the clerk that the Pop figure had a spelling error on the box, the clerk immediately took the figure back and called her manager. She said then that she could only sell it at $25 instead of the $10 it was marked at. I had previously enjoyed my trips to this store when visiting the square, but alas, no more.

They have a great selection for such a tiny place, and the employees have always been very knowledgeable when I have questions.
