We visited the store twice to see what was available and decide what we liked. The salesman was also the manager. He was very knowledgeable and honest about our options. We went home and discussed options.I went back alone. I worked with the same salesman. He was equally helpful and did all he could to make the deal the best possible. Everything that was mentioned on our first visit was repeated. I used the interest free deal to complete the sale. The manager was so helpful and upbeat. We will be going back to decide on the rest of our furnishings. We lost everything in 2016 from the Great Flood. We had Ashley furniture in our house and want to replace our furnishings with Ashley in charge.

This specific location is shutting down and they were very helpful in telling us the discounts and showing us what could still be ordered. There was no pressure to buy anything like I have felt in almost every other furniture store. The employees were nice and the location was clean!

I sent this to my salesman. Hey man I have to say your efforts today were very poor we called and spoke to one of the managers and they got to speak to the dispatcher for tomorrow’s delivering and assured that my wife does not have to take the day off tomorrow and assured it would be after 2pm. If only you would of given an extra effort to make this right and help us feel better and not about just the closing of the sale and you don’t have to have to worry about us anymore it would of made the whole experience better if you would gone an extra step. This process has made us not want to choose Ashley’s in the future or even work with you. Have a good night..

Im a little disappointed in Ashleys furniture. Delivery was decent, but who ever hires for dispatchers needs to do background check! Ive been waiting on my furniture since February 8, and when the day comes for it to arrive, my storage on my bed was broken, two pieces to my sectional was not delivered, but I checked my messages and they did say that itll be on back order so I wont complain about that. If Im able to get the rest of furniture in a respectable time I may come back and change the review, but as of now...customer service and being professional on the phone is definitely 1 star!

I’ll never be purchasing furniture from Ashley again. Texas recently acquired the Louisiana region. As a result, phone numbers have changed and nobody has a clue what’s going on. I tried calling the Denham store but kept getting redirected to corporate, and it took multiple phone calls to finally figure out where our couch was being shipped to. (The Baton Rouge location). When I called the BR location to schedule my pickup, the phone number corporate had given me didn’t work anymore. In fact, none of the numbers corporate had worked, so they had to send emails saying when my husband would arrive to pickup. When my husband got there, I had to call corporate again because they had delivered my couch to the old Olindes on Airline, which we then found out was functioning as a warehouse. Corporate had to call the Denham store to figure this out. This was around 5:20pm that Denham told us we were good to go at the BR store. When my husband got there, the owner barely spoke to him and threatened to call the police because they closed at 5 (new information for literally everyone including corporate), and apparently my husbands tattoos made him threatening, though he was kind and patient under the circumstances. My husband was literally looking right at our couch, and they threatened to call the cops. Ridiculous. I’m not mad they close at 5, I’m mad that my husband was treated unfairly because of his appearance, and that nobody can seem to get in touch with anybody or have a clue what’s going on. All the representatives I’ve spoken to at corporate have been kind — this is obviously a management/higher-up issue.What a frustrating experience. I’m just tired of sitting on my floor. (No, we still don’t have our couch. He has to go on his lunch break tomorrow.)

The purchasing experience to the pickup experience was wonderful. Made it very easy and worked with two separate sales ladies. Both were wonderful and assisted us plenty in trying to find the right couch for us. Nobody was pushy for us to purchase or trying to up-sell us anything extra. Would definitely look to them for a future purchase.

Pathetic! The manager doesnt follow through on what he promises. My furniture was damaged by the delivery driver and then I was told it would take another 6 to 8 weeks to get what I had paid for so I canceled it. I contacted corporate because they refuse to answer the phone at the local store and I was told by Dillon that his customers come first. Um..I spent over $4300 in your store so I am a customer. Im still waiting on my refund because Carrie from corporate apparently lied to me as well. So I honestly wouldnt waste my time with this place.

My sales clerk was very thorough and explained the options we were conflicted about... making our decision easier. Which leads to the delivery process... IT WAS TERRIBLE! After 3 tries finally got it right. If it had not been for AMBER LITTLE in Denham Springs location we would have cancelled our order. She was very compassionate and understanding and she is the only reason we will ever make another purchase from Ashley Furniture. The delivery process is only reason for 3 stars

My experience with Ashley Home Store in Denham Springs was a NIGHTMARE. I had multiple scheduled deliveries that failed to show. After reaching out to the store and management, all I got was excuses and calls that were never returned. The manager Mark avoided my calls, then promised to resolve my issue and even discount my order for the trouble I went through. Well, none of these things were honored and I had to drive to the store on a Saturday to get an answer. Mark was unable to find my furniture (it should have been located the week before when it didn’t get delivered). Ultimately, Mark decides to refund me for the portion of furniture that was “lost”. There is an even better catch. The refund was supposed to take 7-10 business days. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting for my refund. I’ve been told that their accounts department is running behind or backed up. They can’t reach out to the accounting department to find a status on my refund but they can just resubmit my paperwork.After leaving a review on social media I was contacted by a representative who was going to “escalate” my issue and resolve it. She said she would call me back. I never received a call back from her either. I’ve never felt to so helpless and unappreciated as a customer.Take my advice and steer clear of Ashley Furniture!

This was the easiest major purchase I have ever made. The salesperson was great. She was there to help but was not breathing down our back. She was very attentive but not in the way. The furniture selection & quality was excellent. Pricing was better than I expected. I will definitely return there & will recommend them to anyone !!!

Im very disappointed with Ashley HomeStore customer services. We purchased a desk for WAH due to COVID-19. The delivery was pushed back several times so we ended up cancelling the order on 4/11/20. We still have not received our refund. I have tried to call several times but the customer service options feeds to the national call center who directs us back to the store. A big telephone run- around. When I stated I wanted to speak to a district manager the rep said she did not have that type of information and suggested I visit the store personally.At the time of the sale the store employees were helpful and courteous but delivery and customer service after the sale is awful. At this point Im not sure, because of their delivery and post-sale customer service I will buy again.

If I could post no stars I definitely would. I ordered a dresser and nightstand from them in march. I recieved the night stand with no issues. However, Ive had nothing but problems with the dresser. The first time I went to pick it up, they had no idea where my order was. They said they would have it delivered for free due to the mess up. Okay awesome, I could deal with that. The delivery guys tried to drop a damaged dresser to me. I told them to not even take it off the truck, I was not accepting that. Called them and told them what happened and due to covid they had to shut down their Texas warehouse so they could not tell me when I would get a new one so i decided to cancel my order. Here we are 4 months later and I have yet to receive my refund from them and I still dont have a dresser. All they keep telling me is that they are working on it. Im confused as to why it is taking so long to get my money back when I never even got the furniture in the first place. 10/10 would never in my life recommend them to anyone .

Well managed and great help. Very busy during the season so take your time looking for furniture. Also, the display monitor will give you access to items that are not on display. When we made our purchase two of the items were not on the order form. Did not discover this until delivery date. Went back to the store and mr. Gary jumped right on this. It was corrected in just 20 minutes and a second delivery with no charge scheduled.

Deserve Zero star rating, multiple broken promises on delivery. Refuse to refund payment made in full. Paid in full over $2200 purchase. Please AVOID this place. Phone representatives contradict one another and offer zero help. Having to dispute charge through credit card company to get refund. This should be considered Theft by this store.

Gorgann was wonderful! My husband and I found a sofa we liked.....except for the color.....she got to checking for us and it did come in another color, however they did not have one at the store. She takes with the store manage and got him to order a piece in the other color. She made sure to follow up and let us know right away when it came in so we could come look at it. She was very thoughtful and kind. We would definitely recommend going to see her if you are looking for new furniture.

They honestly dont even deserve one star! The process of buying the dressers was super easy. It quickly went downhill. My delivery was scheduled 6/17 4:45 to 7:45. They called my daughter at 2:40 and said they were 5 mins from my house and no one was home since I wasnt off work yet. My boss let me leave early and I called the driver back immediatly. He said they were running early and went to their next stop. I told him Id be home in less than 30 mins and asked him to call me on his way back. He hung up. I then get a text from Ashley at 6:42 that my delivery was 20 mins away. It never came. Ive spend several HOURS calling, emailing and trying to live chat Ashley. After youre on hold fot 15 mins they make you leave a message that they will return in 96 HOURS! I received an email around 2 lm 6/18 and it said my delivery was rescheduled for Sat. but, I work. I was sent a 3rd different number and sat on hold 35 mins only to get disconnected. I called back and pressed the button saying I was a retail store and FINALLY a real person answered. The next delivery option is 2 weeks away. No thank you. You have it there ready, i live less than a mile from the store. Now I have to get a hold of a person again to cancel. I was also goingbto purchase a dining and bedroom set. Not from them. NEVER AGAIN! 😡😡😡😡

Was ready to buy a mattress as the sale on tv and internet promoted. Walked in, crickets. Thats cool. Let me check out what they have. Made a lap around the store, still no one acknowledged my presence nor their wanting to make a sale. On my way out I made it a point to speak to a nice lady at the desk. She wanted to get the manager for me and pointed him out. I said no thanks, he saw me wondering around as did the other salesmen who were at a desk complaining.Its a shame, we have made several purchases here in the past with Ms. Sims and has been a great experience. wonder what changed??

Some affordable furniture available and they are willing to work with you. However, be ready to wait more than 3 weeks for the furniture to arrive, they have nothing in stock at this location.🙁😔 They dont seem to really have any idea when it will arrive either... Got the same answer more than a week ago. Always ends up with currently in Warehouse, it will arrive next week 😒No couch in our little, hard floor apartment for a month + sucks. Were a family of five, so you can imagine, let alone not having friends and family over because of the lack of seating.Still waiting.

I ordered my furniture on 09/15/19 and the sales manager told me i will receive my order in 2 weeks or in the worst case scenario 3 weeks.After 3 weeks I called ashley customers service to ask about my order but After 3 days try to talk with custom support and staying in line for long time eventually i could talk with custom service and she told me my furniture may be ready on 10/29/19 which is close to 7 weeks,Really???Anyway after talk with customer service manager, he said he can not do anything for me and the furniture is not available.Thanks Ashley for availability, reliability and honesty.

We purchased a reclining leather sofa and 2 leather chairs from Ashley Furniture. Within 6 months, a wear spot on the headrest began to show. Now, only 9 months later, the color is worn off! We called Ashley furniture. We were on hold for over 45 minutes, only to be told the wear wasnt covered, despite the included warranty card not excluding such wear (the only exclusions were due to liquid, sun or chemicals - none of which are the issue we are experiencing). When we questioned the exclusion, we were told we would be transferred and were then hung up on. We could not be more dissatisfied with the customer service or quality of Ashley Furniture. If we could give no stars, we would.

I spent some time shopping around for a couch that I liked. Ended up finding it here. From the time i bought to the time it was delivered, it exceeded the 3-4 weeks for delivery that I was told and instead clocked in at 5 weeks. Not a deal breaker because I like my couch. Make sure you shop around, because Ashley wasnt on my radar for a long while, and was just a whim on a lazy Saturday. There was no hard sale tactics, but when they realize someone wants to buy, they could ask more questions regarding delivery. They also dont have a good way for one to track an order well. It was obvious from the they should call you tomorrow answer that really meant in a week that they cant track the order well, either. Im pleased with my couch and the delivery service was pretty quick in and out when it finally arrived.

They are not returning calls and responding to emails for any returns or damages.Look at recent posts, they have not been returning call in customer service, nor or they answering calls.Update: After 4 weeks of making over 15+ phone calls and voicemails to Customer Service. Including posting messages on their Facebook Page and sending them Private Messages on FB. I was finally contacted today but a Cust. Service Representative. I have been sent a return label and awaiting UPS to pick up the furniture and refund my account. I will post another update once all is completed. Thank you

As I walked into the store Miss Helen Badeaux walked toward me and greeted me. I told her that I was looking for an inexpensive sofa. She proceeded to show me about a dozen sofas in the $300 range. She was professional, courteous and friendly. When I selected one she took care of me. She took the time to go through everything with me even though there were two other ladies waiting for her help on much more expensive furniture. I was well taken care of and will return.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I bought a new home and decided to furnish it via Ashley Home Store. Kristi the salesperson is great. However, this company clearly needs to be revamped from the inside out. When it came time to deliver my bedroom furniture, the driver informed me that the headboard and footboard were on back order. He wanted to drop of the other pieces, however I dont have room to just have pieces of a bed laying around so I rejected the bed set until they could deliver and assemble the entire bed at one time. The driver was not only rude to me and had an attitude, he was rude to the Kristi who I called to try and get everything situated. They took everything back with the exception of my dresser which I said they could delivery. They rescheduled the delivery for the remainder of my stuff the following week. Ive already been sleeping on an air mattress for 2 weeks, whats 1 more? The following delivery day comes and its a new driver. He informs me that they dont have all the pieces!!!! Apparently the previous driver marked down that they left 2 pieces here when he didnt. Then instead of deliverying my chest of drawers they tried to deliver a 2nd dresser! I told him I wanted to reject the delivery. The driver said he understands rejecting the dresser, but rejecting the bed pieces would cause him trouble because they are big pieces that would make the remainder of his deliveries challenging because they would be in the way. He asked me to accept the pieces and that he would return with the other pieces after his route and get everything set up. I told him if he would in fact return to set everything up I would accept. Well, he only told me what I wanted to hear so that the remainder of his deliveries wouldnt be challenging. Not only did he not show up, he ignored my phone calls when I was trying to get an eta of when he would be here to finish. Because he did not show I have all of these huge bed pieces just laying around my room with no room to set back up my air mattress and sleep. So for two nights I have been sleeping on my wood floors!!!! I got in contact with Mu saleswoman Kristi and asked that some one high up call me first thing in the morning so that I could vent my frustrations and come to a resolution. I told her that if this could not be done I would like to arrange for everything to be returned and issued a full refund so that I may take my business else where. Well I waited all day for a phone call and nothing!!!! I understand that its Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, but I would think its a little more important to take care of a current dissatisfied customer who could potential bring more future business rather than trying to lure new customer to later dissatisfy. I cant believe how horrific and appalling this whole experience has been. This company needs to get it together or just be put out of business. Im going to give them the opportunity to rectify this whole situation, and depending what they do for me I may do future business with them, but at this point I would recommend staying away from their business and take your furnishing needs to a more functional company that has all their ducks in a row.

We purchased a sofa and loveseat on Dec. 14, 2019. We were told both were in stock and would be delivered on Dec. 23, 2019. Fast forward to Dec. 23 around 7pm, the delivery driver calls to say that he will deliver our loveseat within 30 min. This is the first we hear that we wont be getting the sofa we ordered for Christmas (as promised by the salesman). The delivery detail email never mentioned the sofa being out of stock.We got a good deal but having to move a holiday last minute is hardly worth it. We still dont know when we will get it. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone who cant take their sofas from the store the day they buy them. I dont know whether we were lied to but we definitely were not informed of the change in delivery by the store . The delivery driver shouldnt have to do that.Btw, the delivery guys were super nice and the only positive part of this experience.

Well, well, well 😂...look what I got in the mail today. A sales ad promoting 20% off + 12 months interest free (or 5 years interest free). Contrary to what the store manager (tall, peppy guy rockin the gel spiked hair) stated--Unfortunately, it ends TODAY!--, this promotion is actually good through February 17th. Cant say Im a fan of your sales/ FOMO tactics, but I do find it very amusing that an honest sales dialogue could have lead to a purchase. Like, hey, I understand you dont make impulse buys. Why dont you come back in a week if youre still considering the purchase and well fulfill that promotion were offering to all of our -credit customers- for the next 2 weeks. 🤓 I gave you 4 stars for effort. 😉 Go Chiefs!

Such a great experience. Helen Badeaux greeted me and asked what I was interested in and showed me some things and then showed me more on her kiosk! She didn’t hover over you but was very helpful when needed! I found what I wanted and were good prices. I told her about the bad experience that I had with Town & Country being turned down by Tower loan for $1200.00!!! I had not been turned down before. I got a loan at Ashley’s in less than 2 minutes for up to $8500.00!!!Thank you Helen and your credit department for redeeming my self esteem!

Bruce was very helpful and went above what was required. He checked on availability at the warehouse to try to determine my estimated delivery time. He also checked on how much assembly my items would need to determine if I needed delivery and assembly. A lot of nice furniture available. However, I recommend you to check online before visiting this place for price variance. I bought sofa and paid $910 after 30 percent discount. After going back home, I found online price was $798 without any discount. When I called the customer service on the following day for price adjustment, they transferred the phone to sales representative involved in the sell. The sales representative told me to talk to customer service. After talking to them few times I decided to go there and get the price adjustment done. That experience tells us: not good customer care after materials are sold.

Friendly, clean environment. I just wish it wouldnt take almost a whole month to get what you purched. The warehouse must be in China. Most places you can pay to expedite your purchase. Not with Ashley..Last time using the actual store.I will be in my new home with no bed 😥

Walked into the store looking for a sectional. I walked the entire store. I was not greeted upon entrance and no one tried to assist me. There was one guy who was with customers so I thought Id wait my turn as I was the only other customer; however, after that customer left I still was not assisted. There was three men behind the counter laughing looking at something on the phone.

Ill never gonna order again!! I went to the store to purchase a bunkbed and a kitchen island. I was told my order will be ready by 3 weeks. They call to schedule it on October 10th, and I receive a call that day that they can only deliver my bunkbed. Which is fine, but disappointed to know that some parts are missing. And was told theyll contact me within 24-48hrs ( which didnt happened). I made a call and it took me 30 mins to get in touch with someone. And told me they will schedule the kitchen island on the 18th as it was back ordered. And said they ordered the missing parts of my bed as well and will be ready by the end of the week (10/18). But didnt happened, so I called costumer service about my items. And said all they could do is replaced my bunk bed to a new one than order the missing parts as it will take longer than getting the replacement. They told me to reschedule my kitchen island deliver from 10/18 to 10/24. Then got a call on the 18th and was been told they have to move it on the 29th as it is being back ordered again! So I asked if i could just cancel my orders and get my money back. And was told theyll charge for a restocking fee of 10%. So how about my compensation for all the trouble and inconvenience I get for the items I purchased?? We badly need the bed for me and my daughter. But how long do we have to wait? This is the first time I experience such terrible service!

I ordered furniture from them and they went above and beyond to make sure I received it before Christmas... bought a recliner for my husband. Worst experience. What happen to customer service. Went in looking for a recliner for my Mom. No other customers in the store 4 sales reps; neither asked if we needed help. A white couple walls in and one of the sales reps make a b-line to them welcoming them with sales info and all kinds of pleasantries. Totally ignoring us. I can’t believe in 2017 this type of behavior still exists. If there was anything less than 1star that would be my rating.

I bought my bed at the Denham Springs location and the order was fulfilled and delivered from the Gonzales location. I had some questions about my delivery that I directed to the Gonzales location and was treated very poorly. The Denham Springs store manager, Jacque, was very helpful in addressing my customer service complaint and did everything to be sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Would buy from Denham again.
