I was recently in this store for the first time. It was a great experience. The selection of lamps and lamp shades was very large. It is very difficult to find a store in this area that even sells lamp shades. It turns out that they make them there. The sales person - Christy (not sure of spelling) was very knowledgeable and patient. The latter was important as I was with my elderly mother who had a difficult time deciding. I am not in the market fro this type of merchandise frequently, but I would return in a heart beat and highly recommend it to others.

Knowledgeable, professional and certainly knows the lamp service business. Very good selection up up to date lighting for purchase.

Christie was very helpful in selecting a new reading lamp and in securing a replacement part for our ceiling fan. Great personal service, we will be back.

Overpriced and snippy attitude. Brought a small lamp in for a wire and toggle switch. Charge was $76. I thought it was high, and shame on me for not saying NO. But, when I picked up the lamp and told the woman owner that I thought the charge was excessive, she got very snippy, and said that they have been in business for 50 yrs, and I should check around...I did. Average price for the same work was no higher than $55. I also found it very chinzy that no bulb was put back into the lamp, and because of the type of glass lamp it was, it was very difficult to get the small bulb back in. Very disappointing all the way around customer service.

I love this store! The salespeople are so friendly and knowledgeable. The selection was excellent and the prices are really good. What more could you ask for?

I purchased a $250.00 LED floor lamp from this store in April of 2019. I was told by the salesperson that the light would last for years. HAH! It did not even last 2 years. Called the store and spoke to Crystal who told me I will have to now pay for replacement parts and she basically blamed the lamp not working on power surges. What a joke. I went to Home Depot and bought a comparable LED floor lamp for $59.00. This store is so over priced and clearly the lighting they sell is not the quality lighting they boast it to be. I will never go to this store again let alone spend any more money there and I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

They really need to remove the daving:Never Saw A Lamp We Couldnt Fix!They totally blew up my beautiful lamp, so it wouldnt work.

I brought a coachlight in to be rebuilt.The sockets were burned out and it needed to be brought back to working order to match the other coachlight on my garage. Turnaround was 1 day and the lamp was completely rebuilt with new wiring. They are not inexpensive, but they are thorough and good! I will work with them again!

This store takes Covid very seriously. I feel very safe bringing my 96 mother into this business. They run HEPA air purifiers 20ft apart. There is sanitizer at every door and the counters. Everybody is wearing masks. One employee had 2 masks on. They wipe down after every customer, including the inside and outside of doors. They spray the store with a disinfectant mist after customer leaves. Just thought Id let everybody know.

I was so impressed with the personal service. I was greeted warmly and offered great suggestions in my price range. I will definitely return.

Just repaired three lamps at Quality Lighting. The lamps were very special to me - two were antique oriental lamps and the other was a statue table lamp. They came out fabulous. The electrician did a great job restoring them to their original beauty. They were very knowledgeable in providing what I needed. You need to go there to speak to them about your lamps. They also have a large selection of lampshades, lighting fixtures, and ceiling fans. 5 stars!

I’ve had lamp repairs at this lamp shop for years. I continued to go there because of location.The service is acceptable but the attitude is poor.I especially took umbrage with one guy who has been employed there for quite sometime.He is cut & dry, & not personable.When I inquired as to why their policy requires PRE-PAYMENT with no exceptions he didn’t reply and asked for payment..I especially resent having to PRE-PAY for repairs!I do not patronize this business and no longer recommend it to other people.

GREAT SELECTION AND PRICE! I found a beautiful dining room light here. They had so many to choose from. The sales people are very informative and they really educated me on the latest styles and 2012 energy efficiency laws going into place. We are really lucky to have a store like this in our area. I highly recommend this store to all of my friends. P.S. they also have thousands of lampshades...

Really? You would write a bad review over $5? Then you are a jerk. I have had outstanding experiences here that have brought me back many times. Have spent thousands, and not because its pricey ---- they always have beat the price I found anywhere else. Its because I have found a great place to buy lighting.

Good work On the repair. Didnt like the way they handled the bill. Quoted me one price then charged me five dollars more when I picked up the lamp. Could have been easily resolved, but girl behind the counter would not do so--She was right and I was wrong. When the discussion just slightly escalated one of her brilliant coworkers suggested that the police be called. The Takeaway: get things in writing and bring bail money.

Went to Quality Lighting to purchase a lamp shade and a minor lamp repair. What a fantastic store! Great to shop in a local store which isnt a chain! They make lamp shades as well and the selection and quality was superb. Christy helped me pick out a shade for my antique lamp - she has a great eye and patience to match.

Dont go to this place they provide poor customer service at a very high price !!! I gave them a pendant light to have a new socket installed after about 10 days I called to find out if it was finished. The woman said they were waiting for the new socket to arrive.The very next day she said the lamp was fixed. I pick it up and she said it didnt need a new socket just a bulb.I paid $53 for this service. I went home put in a new bulb and plugged it in and it still didnt work. I called Palm Beach lighting in Lake Worth and he said bring the light in. JD told me to come back in an hour and it would be fixed. He replaced the socket and charged me $20. The light works fine.

40 years ago i purchased a iron hanging light made in 1850It was an oil lamp and I had it wired for a chimney light bulb.well they have stopped making chimney light bulbs i found this out after speaking to the owner of Quality Lighting.. After our conversation I decided to rewire the lamp.Thanks to Quality Lighting I was able to get the parts and rewire the lamp. So if you are reading this and have a lamp problem please visit their store I am glad that I did

Pay Close Attention to the Bill. I have been going to QL for years and while the work they do is great, they tend to be a bit pricey. That was OK with me until this last time. I brought in a 1930 fixture to be rewired and the salesperson wrote an itemized bill totaling $116. The largest item was a $35 custom cut plate that would cover the base of the fixture. When I went to pick it up (they did get it done the same day - I did NOT ask for a rush), she showed me the new socket, the rewiring, and the new screws, but what was missing was the custom cut plate. I asked her about it and she said that they did not need to make the plate - instead they used a 20-cent threaded rod. That was OK with me too, but when I asked her why she still charged me for the plate, she had no answer. Then she said that I must pay the man for his time - that made no sense to me, why pay him for something he did not do? Anyhow, this left a very bad taste in my mouth and while I will still go back, I will be watching like a hawk when she writes up the deal and compare it with the actual work done. This was very tacky, especially for a repeat client.
