I’ve never said these words before: what a beautiful grocery store! The setup is so elegant and efficient. I can see myself coming here just so walk around. It’s that nice. Prices weren’t too bad. I was expecting more based on how pretty the place was. They were open on thanksgiving and that alone is worth the five stars. Happy holidays!

I absolutely love this place. And the employees are friendly and helpful. I look forward to there weekly specials and deals. I just purchased the garlic thyme roasted chicken because it was on sale for $5 instead of regular price $8 And lets just say I will never buy one from publix ever again. I know its the fresh market but please stay away from the bakery as you will forget about eating healthy

Its not just a food market, its an experience. I shop their just for fun. The quality of food offered is amazing and the assortment of flowers is joyous!

I have shopped at this location of Fresh Market for several years. Why is it that the last 3 times in a row that I’ve bought a bottle of wine in this Delray Beach store that the check out person has made a joke about my age? Every time it’s been the same thing…”hahaha are you old enough to buy this?” Or, “do I need to card you…haha.” Why is it so hilarious that I’m a middle aged woman? It’s just who I am. No jokes needed. I’m a polite person who tries to be kind to other people. Not sure why your staff makes unkind remarks to me solely because I’m not young. As the saying goes, if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. Does your staff also make fun of overweight customers who are buying cookies? Probably not because that would be unacceptable. But ageism is I guess. Also I think that if I was a man vs a woman they wouldn’t have said this. Very disappointed with your checkoutstaff. Guess I’ll start shopping at the local Whole Foods.This is only the third review I’ve ever posted online. But I’m so frustrated with how I was treated that I just wanted to say how I felt.

Love the food selections, baked goods and ready to eat meals. Great produce and baked goods. Staff is always helpful and super friendly.

Had an amazing first time shopping experience from start to finish. All departments are clean, well stocked and full of fresh product/prepared food/produce. Loved the classical music playing, created a soothing no-stress shopping experience. And the candy aisle!!! Ill definitely be back and highly recommend this store for those looking for grocery shopping alternatives. This is it!

My wife and I both love taking long motorcycle rides we took one today it was a gorgeous day very sunny very blue skies we went all the way from Miami past Boca to the beginning of Palm Beach county we stopped at this food market and was very very happy we sat down we ate healthy got energized and went off on our way I believe you would absolutely enjoy this spot

My husband and I bought fish, corvina, as a recommendation from their fish department. This fish was so bad, we threw it away. We love fish but our experience at the Delray Beach Fresh Market couldn’t have been worse. It’s clear we won’t buy more fish at this store. Please don’t take advantage of people that are wanting to try new fish varieties selling them spoiled fish.

The rating would easily be 5 stars if evaluating my Delray location. However, if you have to ask anything at meat, seafood, or bakery...prepare to get little or a non caring response, very different than the front of the store. Its becoimng a running joke with some of us...hows was Fresh Market? you either needed help and had a bad day or thank god, i didnt need help

We really like The Fresh Market and are really happy they are in our Neighborhood we usually have a great experience there as what we purchase lives up to the stores name. I buy my wife roses there they last longer then a most flowers I’ve bought for her. We did have an issue with a rude cashier the other day but consider that an anomaly.

Reason for 5 STAR...AFTER Trader Joes The Fresh Market i saw second fresh market for Organic vegetables and foods. There are no doubts compared to Trader Joes The Fresh Market has lots of variety in organic food and grocery. ( I am 100% vegetarian so i dont have knowledge about meat and nonveg foods.)All Vegetables and Fruits are too fresh.. its look like before couple minutes came from farm. -:)The people are incredibly nice and authentic. The food is insanely good, fresh, local, and always the highest quality. Even though it has the appearance of being a pricey grocery store .The store is very clean and well organized. They have a great selection of food products. It looks like organic store -:).I have noticed its priced a tad little high as well....but...would you put charcoal light fluid in your car? Its quality food and you pay for it..

Great local grocery with unusual /hard to find items. Meat department great quality. Wish more prepared food made locally vs shipped from mother ship, but thats just my opinion.

Love the Fresh Market...its such a treat to shop there. Obviously a little more expensive so cant go there every day, but they have some great deals on daily meal selections. Great quality, great selection and everything so fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly too.

My new favorite Fresh Market. ELINE in the deli made our Christmas. We couldnt find seafood salad and she made some from scratch for us. This place has 10 star customer service. Give this woman a raise a true example of going above and beyond.

Easy to park, great desserts and sushi. My only issue is theres always long lines since theres not enough registers open. Usually theres only 2 or 3 cashiers.

This is clearly the best supermarket in Delray Beach. Its tops in every respect (cleanliness, organization, freshness of vegetables & fruits, and SERVICE). This is my favorite store now.

The fresh market is what I call a premium market, so the prices are high but the quality of products are also high. I love shopping here for their vegetable sushi and wandering in the aisles for various products that are on sale. The place is always clean and everything is displayed efficiently. The staff is very helpful and check out is always fast. They also have a couple of tables in the front of the store in case you want to eat whatever you bought.

Very nice, clean and stocked with good veggies and meats and some bakery items. Add a few other canned/bottled items like drinks, tomato sauce - as well as candies and some other stuff Im forgetting and youve covered most of what they carry. All excellent qualities btw - so you pay a price for them. Staff is friendly and attentive.

I love shopping here in the evening time when I get off work but this visit did not surprise me. I might stop coming to this one now. They are very dirty from no trash bags on the checkouts to sticky product in produce. I was getting tofu in the produce shelf when I notice a piece of mold sticking onto the container and chipped off as I picked up the product. It was so sticky that I opted for another one to find that they all were sticky with some residue on it. I took one anyways feeling disgusted. I even bought a mozzarella cheese ball from an outside source because I was afraid how dirty the staff wrap their own cheese balls based on this visit.

I always come to fresh market and always have a good service but in the Deli (food) area there is an employee named (vei) not sure how the name is spelled but she gave me a very bad attitude and was throwing things all over the place. I told the manager when I was on the line about the horrible attention and attitude about the employee while I told the manager another customer heard me talking about the employee and she had an horrible experience as well. I felt like the manager was defending the bad and horrible experienced employee in the Deli area, if I walk in the store and see her serving I will walk out the store this market is very expensive to have a bad attention.

I was there today at seafood shrimp were on sale 12.99 a pound when I got home to Boynton Beach I found she charged me14.99 per pound

Love the bakery department workers, always very attentive and friendly. Same for the deli department. Love the black lady who clearly enjoys her job. She helps you, and when she’s done, you have a smile on your face. The skinny white guy at the deli is great too. Serious but works hard and is professional about his job. The problem with this place is the meat department workers. Where do they find these unfriendly and rude people? Some do their jobs but others, especially the short black guy, makes one not want to come back to this place ever again. He is rude, impatient, and is known to make a disappearing act into the back instead of helping the customers waiting in the meat counter. I know this isn’t the first time you hear this. I’ve seen the reviews below about your meat department so this isn’t new. What are you doing about this?

I wanted to alter an existing catering platter. Christine who is the foh manager was fabulous. She was so accommodating and savvy. Another reason to shop Fresh Market!

I love it! I dont live in Fl full time but when Im here, the 1st place I go is Fresh Market. Their selection of gourmet foods is top notch! Their produce is fresh, meats great, deli has a lot of great choices. Their prices are great (better than Whole Foods!) Fresh Market makes me wish I lived here all the time!

What a lovely conversation with and helpful information from Rey in produce amongst all the beautifully arranged fruits, vegetables and flowers. The only thing missing is a table for a garden tea party. And Julie at checkout is always delightfully pleasant & positive--as are all of the staff!

They were super nice they were taking the chickens out and I told her I wanted plain which was on the top she had the guy get the top row down so I didnt have to wait. The check out was slow.

Each Fresh Market has its own personality. Delray is chill and the staff is very friendly and helpful. As expected good produce and meats at fair prices for the quality. In the butcher section they tend to round up by 10 to 15% so if you really want just a pound be ready. Prepared foods are very good and convenient. Bistro meal is always a good deal.

I go into the store for a bistro meal about once a week. I consider it a good value in comparison to the rest of the high priced prepared foods in the store. Recently, I was served a meal that was pretty much half of the portions I am accustomed to receiving. When I checked out, I mentioned to the very nice cashier that the serving was less than. She agreed with me that it was an unusually small portion for the entree and the sides. She also mentioned that she had many customers lodging the same complaint as of late. So disappointed as I usually split the meal with my roommate. We do not have large appetites; but as we are on a budget, we have relied on the store in the past for good quality lunches. Perhaps they should post a sign that their bistro meal portions have now been cut in half.

I shop here all the time. Just left the fresh market very unhappy with the cashier who over charged me twice for something I didn’t purchased. The price monitor are away from where you enter the credit card payment, I see a charge on the screen for grapes, which I know I didn’t purchased.At that moment I questioned the cashier, I request to speak to the manager, the cashier replied to me that he was the manager which is NOT true. I got my money refunded for 8.79 cents. BUYER BE AWARE .......Look at your receipt before you leave the FRESH MARKET. Make sure ALL your items are in the bag.

Nice grocery store ; great meats, fruits & veggies. Wish more prepared foods were done in-house vs. Import from who knows where. Buy spices in small amounts for little money - which is great trying new recipes.

I never shop here as their prices are high. But today I wanted the best and freshest ginger root available. It was nothing but small broken pieces that should not have been for sale.Next time Ill go to The Boys markey

Expensive but great quality meat and seafood. The bakery is awesome and the prepared food options are extensive. They have great deals on Tuesdays and weekly specials. The customer service is excellent.

My favorite local small market. Excellent deli, produce, seafood and healthy frozen foods. Random day free sampling options. Today was delicious chicken bean chili with chopped onion and grated cheese. Complimentary coffee available while browsing. Pricier than Publix but try it because your body will love it!

The produce is a bit over priced. The meat department needs some adjustments. When the guy greeted me he greeted me inappropriate by calling me love no one one should be called love,baby,sweetheart etc. You should call someone sir or mam. He seem eager to help me until I asked him to cut me some meat, then his attitude changed. and same goes for his co worker, I over heard the guy ask him to cut the meat and his co worker and him both were making comments on as to why I would ask.I thought it was rude and almost like they didnt want to help me, as if I were asking for too much, Please correct me if I am wrong, but if it a fresh market and I am asking to cut up some meat that I am purchasing what is the big deal, it only took a couple mins to do it.Publix always says yes no problem then ask if I need anything else while doing it, this meat department gives me attitude. It not the first time they gave me attitude.

First visit. Loved it. So many ready to cook meals that have been prepped and seasoned making cooking a healthy meal sooo much easier. Can hardly wait to return!

I have yet to meet a fresh market I don’t love. The fresh market is generally expensive, but I like to shop on Tuesdays because they have a lot of specials. The store is well-appointed. I like to think of it as the Christmas grocery store because every time I walk in it it makes me think of Christmas. This is probably due to the fifteen foot long old-fashioned candy bar. Definitely my favorite place to shop.

Great place to find specialty and gourmet grocery goods. You have to shop around here to find the good deals. Some things are more expensive than at other local groceries, some things are cheaper.They have good regular weekly specials on butcher items like chicken breast and ground beef.Staff isnt surly but their not exactly warm and friendly.If I could change one thing it would be to add more brand variety to the packaged greens in produce.

Great food. Their deli honey ham is our favorite!! I come here often as it is close to my house. Their food is fresh and their rosemary bread is out of this world. Great selection of items, fantastic bakery and the staff, as a whole, is great.However, I stopped buying my meat here as the meat staff always acts put out when I ask for something. Sometimes I stand there for a good minute or 2 before anyone acknowledges that I am there. If they were busy at the time I would have completely understood, but I was the only one there and the guy wasn’t doing anything. Then when I asked for an item, it seemed like a hardship for him to get what I needed. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt because people have bad days and everyone deserves grace but his has happened to me several times starting from the first time I shopped here and subsequently everytime after that. Not once have I had a positive meat experience there.

Great store to go in, although everything here is quite pricy. This store prides itself on being fancier, more laid back, and health conscious, with an increase in price. The deli actually isnt too bad here and has reasonable prices. My major complaint, however, is that unlike most stores, this store will give you quite a hassle about changing the pricing on tags that are overdue, coming close to refusing it.

Well it just seems the fresh fish isnt. The folks behind the counter mix up the farm raised with the fresh. I think the tell is the farm raised has been auto cleaned fresh caught customer deveins. Its happened several times. Once I actually wanted to exchange my purchase - since store was busy I was told to wait. Yeah no, left the lesser quality seafood error at exit which may or may not be customer service.

A nice grocery store.We visited for a quick lunch before a road trip, and though there was not a hot-bar, we were not disappointed with the selection. The market has many options, such as sandwiches and pastas, along with great coffee options.We sat at the tables right by the entrance and had a nice, curated meal.

Food is good. But some of the staff can be grumpy. Of the 3 times I have been lately they have been out of soup and when you ask for more they develop an attitude. If you cant keep soup filled up, why bother to sell it? The locations I Have been to in Tennessee are much nicer.

Love the fresh meat department!! Always running specials on high quality meat! And you can bet youll find some delicious gem youve never tried before. From kombucha to cookies and so much deliciousness in between. And the weekly dinners... Talk about savings! And they do the prep and plan!

I love this store on there almost everyday and sometimes twice a day. It is a little more expensive but I love what they carry and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They remember who you are which is really nice it feels like youre part of the family.

This is my favorite store for fresh produce, meat, fish, and all things that go with it! The prepared foods are excellent! You wont want to miss their bakery and you can check each week for their Little Big Meal. I have a friend that gets it and it lasts for several meals!There are bins of fresh nuts and on another aisle theres all sorts of candy!Dont miss this store if youre looking for quality and good service!

High-end supermarket but with the quality to justify it. They lack some basic food stuffs though, so you might not be able to find everything you need. Would recommend if your interested in fresh ingredients such as meat, produce or herbs.

The Fresh Market has the most beautiful, freshest, widest variety of fruit and vegetables available here. It also has specialty baking items (rye flour, anyone?) that are not as easy to find elsewhere. However, I thought this store would be a great place for packaged vegan/vegetarian products, and it isnt. It devotes so much space to meat and seafood~a disappointment to me.

Great prices for a quality food store. Regular wine tasting with great sales. Delicious rotisserie chickens and kale Caesar salad. Dont do my regular shopping here, but great for an impromptu dinner for 2 or 3.

I enjoy shopping there because they have really good fresh meats, seafood and produce plus a lot of unique hard to find food items. The employees are friendly and very helpful. The only drawback to this store is that there are a lot of very rude snobbish people who shop there. I give the employees a lot of credit for putting up with the customers abhorrent behavior.

A dream world of bakery goods.

Love their sushi. Always fresh and tastes great. The lines arent too long since theyll open up new counters if the lines start to get long. The short checkout is a must since I often need to grab a quick lunch.

I buy two made salads every two days- I understood that they are made fresh each day. I got awful food poisoning from one of the two I bought yesterday. I only eat the salad. The expiration date on both was 11-11.I opened the second one today to look at and the lettuce was already brown.So disappointed and still feeling queasy.

Very good choice, quite pricey need a little competition with wholefood opening down the street, but overall great shopping experience.

A wide selection. Comparable to whole foods in the variety of fresh food. Some of their prices are crazy such as $15+ for a bag of organic grapes. They have a very large bakery selection as well.I wouldnt do all my shopping here as prices for basic items such as loaves of bread and beverages are higher here than across the street at Publix.I will definitely be back though.
