Went there today looking for a scratch and dent washer and dryer. Well to our surprise they had none. We drove over an hour to get there for nothing. However I will say the people there were very nice and the prices were not bad. Some of the items they had were scratch and dent just not what we were looking for. Seen some good deals on what they did have. I would call and ask them what they have before making that drive to the store.

Bought a fridge on July 25, it was dying on Aug 2ond. The soonest brand name fridge warranty company could come out was in 4 days. Called Zellers and talked to owner, inquiring about what to do. He was willing to replace the fridge, and when he found out I had no way to bring old one back and get new one, he arranged to have his crew deliver and set up new fridge, and cart the old one back to the warehouse..... WITHIN 3 HOURS OF HIM SAYING HE WOULD DO THAT FOR ME!This was done in less time than it took me, on the phone, on hold, over several calls to the fridge manufacturer!Mr. Zellers, you have a customer for life!

The selection is incredible and the prices are amazing. The location is great, but the quality is unpredictable. We & 2 of our friends bought fridges from them around the same time, and all 3 fridges died within weeks of installation. Theyll cover repairs on warranty, but the headache of putting food in coolers, tossing spoiled items, and taking time off for repair visits might not be worth the initial savings. They told us there is no return policy for fridges, and if the product IS a lemon, you have to go through the manufacturer, not Zeller. So whatever you buy, youre stuck with. If youre open to that because the savings seems like a reasonable trade-off, theyre a good option. If youre not, a different store might suit you more.

I purchased an Amana washer from Zellers this past Saturday for $290. I got it home and hooked up and my husband ran a clean cycle or so he thought. I went to use the washer on Tuesday and the washer would not take in water. My water lines were clear and connected properly but this washer would not fill. So I called and I was given information for a Kaufman Appliance Repair. I left a message with them and received a call back Tuesday afternoon from a Dave there. He said he wouldnt be able to come to me until Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. I waited until around noon today to call and was told they did not recall speaking to anyone in wauseon (because he didnt ask where I was located or get any of my information). My husband called Zellers and spoke to the owner. He told us that if we didnt want it then to bring it back in and wed get out money back. Didnt offer to help with communications to the repair people or anything. Then said he didnt speak to us so he didnt understand why wed be upset or grumpy with him when we called. I bought my dryer from Zellers and a mattress from there all within the year and had no problems. Its called frustration with the situation. Help the situation help the frustration instead of doing nothing.
