I would never shop anywhere else for my favorite stylish cultural clothes, as well as the best jewelry! Honestly I have a place in my heart for this place. If you are ever nearby, stop by. They really work with you on your needs and they NEVER forget a customer. After 6 months almost she still remembered me!

I got a beautiful outfit, however, it required alteration which I had to pay out front. The purchase was on Wednesday and they were told I needed the dress by Saturday. They waited til last minute to do the alterations on the skirt and it was not done properly. I ended up having to pin it at the waist way too big and I had no time left before the event. There are many shops at the global mall with beautiful dresses so not unless it fits good dont pay for alterations I got ripped off!.

The craftsmanship on these clothes is quite impressive, not to mention the service & prices are all much better than other stores I visited. I bought an Indian gown for myself and went back the next day to get a sherwani for my husband. I saw the price tag for $375 but the next day it was $495. They are greedy people who overcharge people. Please dont waste your money here, shop around youll get something 100 times better and cheaper in the same mall.

I bought a dress for my wife from here and the first day she wore it all the beads started falling off. The clothes here are cheap quality which explains the low prices. Trust me youll regret buying anything here. Shop around and compare before you commit to buying.

Omg I bought clothes from here and it was the worst experience of my life. I learned my lesson, I never leave reviews unless I think its important for the public to know. The clothes here are cheap quality the beads and strings are sticking out. If you spend so much money, you expect it to last more than a day of wearing it.

I went in lookin for Jewelry for an Indian wedding i was attending. Mumtaz was very nice and all her products are good quality. I went to Bombay Boutique first across the street but the lady was rude and didn’t even try to sale me anything. Although Bombay was cheaper Mumtaz got my business because of her kindness! These ladies spent well over an hour with us, making sure we had the best fitting and looking outfits for a wedding in Punjab we were attending at the end of the month. They were attentive, honest, and not too pushy. In the end, the groom (whos Punjabi) and the grooms sister and mother separately commented on how great we looked in our sherwanis and what a excellent job this little shop in Decatur had done. Would certainly recommend them.

I went to Mumtaz Fashions to pick out a dress for my girlfriend. My girlfriend was so happy to see there were dresses that suited her very well! She is plus sized but it was not an issue because their selection is so nice. They even matched jewelry with the dress and we were shocked to see the price was still so good. Felt like we were buying from family!

Ive been shopping with Mumtaz for about 20 years, before she was at her current location. Shes so good at what she does that I can walk in and tell her the occasion I need an outfit for and the first outfit I try on is usually perfect. Shopping for Desi clothes is like shopping do it a wedding dress - stressful. But when you find the right one, you know. And when you wear it, your confidence is through the roof. Finally, you can rest assured that no one will else will be wearing the same outfit as you and that you will own a timeless piece!

Excellent experience. Mumtaz has been the name of the Indian clothing industry in the south for 2 decades. The customer service is perfect and ever since they expanded a couple years back the selection is second to none.Male, female, tall, small, skinny or round they have everything for everyone. Also have a nice selection of footwear and jewelry. They have many sales and remember Indian clothing stores do negotiate so dont be afraid to do so!

Do yourself a favor, I wouldn’t purchase from here. The customer service is horrible. The owner needs a good lesson in mannerism and speaking to customers with respect. There is a lack of professionalism within the store, I was given three different prices by three different people for the same outfit within the same store visit. Clearly there is no communication between staff. When I questioned the owner about it she was extremely rude and made person jabs at family members. On a side note, The clothes are average. Has similar clothes to Salima Gallani however prices at Salima’s store are way more competitive.
