Absolutely terrible! Did a service call in Moweaqua for a fridge at a rental home. They were there less than an hour and charged me 202.29 to tell me it’s unrepairable. Never sent me a bill after I asked them too, just charged the credit card. Reached out to Phil, he would never call me back.

Horrible. Brand new stove stop working within 2 days and on CHRISTMAS DAY! WAS NOT ABLE TO COOK XMAS DINNER! Went on Saturday to speak to them about our loss/situation and the SALESMAN TODD was no concerning and yet not very much helpful. He made a comment that was very unprofessional. For to give a small mom and pop shop some type of business WISH LIKE HELL we did not because the service was not acceptable. Do not recommend this place by no means necessary. Most of the Decatur residents are sketchy individuals. The service showed at this establishment.

Appliance Mart is a great place and its local! They stock appliances that are truly worth purchasing. Their staff is very knowledgeable. Willing to share what you can expect from everything they sell. All this is backed up by a friendly, capable and willing to serve the customer, parts and service department. Appliance Mart has been in business a long time - proof that they stand behind what they sell. I was impressed enough to write this review!

Call to have my icemaker line replaced. Took 4 visits and a no show to fix it.Visit 1 - Someone came to diagnose the problem. Were told we needed a new pump and hose.Visit 2- Repair man showed up to fix. Determined that the incorrect pump was ordered. Would need to order a different pump.Visit 3 - Repair man came back. Correct pump was installed. Determined that the incorrect hose was ordered. Would need to order a new hose.No Show visit - was supposed to be at my house at 4 pm to replace hose. At 4:20 I called the store. I was told that the repair guy called in sick. It would have been nice if someone called me to tell me that earlier. I would not have been notified if I hadnt called to find out why he was not there.Visit 4- Refrigerator hose was finally replaced.I was charged for the first service call and the last.The repair was finally done but I had to leave work early multiple times to get the repair completed.

As always they were able to help me out. I always recomend this store.

They had the parts that I needed to fix our dryer at a fair price.. Needed it now, not a week from now, so price was ok. Looked at new Speed Queen washer and dryer while we was there.. Cool stuff..

Stopped in awhile back to look for some appliances for a rental house. Talking to a employee about what I needed. Owner came out yelling that the employee got paid to work not talk. Apparently talking about discussing my needs of a washer, dryer,stove, dishwasher, and fridge. Was wasting their time. So I took my business elsewhere.

I have no idea why anyone ever shops here. Its overpriced and DISGUSTING!So, I went here to check out some appliances. I saw they had used appliances too and did look at their outrageous prices on those units. Wow. Really, stick with the newer appliances if for some reason youre being forced to shop here. Ideally, go to another place--even Menards has good (new) appliances at good prices!What got me though really is their pretty severe roach infestation. It was in the dead of winter and there were roaches EVERYWHERE. Easily hundreds of roach bodies. All over the appliances, all over the floor. It was cold so the roaches were all sleeping but they were everywhere. The lady walked around and had to have seen them too but didnt say a word about them. The place must have a massive, massive roach infestation. It was disgusting. I cant believe nobody swept them up before customers walked through either. I cant believe the lady didnt at least say something about them trying to handle the obvious problem. Nope, she just acted like it was all normal.I understand the building is old but, guys, come on, get an exterminator out there and clean up the mess in the morning before the customers come walking through! Invest a little in respecting your customers, nobody wants to bring home roaches!
