I purchased a Bulova watch for my rehearsal dinner and was disappointed the watch was not functional upon time to wear it for the first time. I returned the watch to the store of purchase and was instructed I needed to repair the watch at my cost. I am very upset after spending a nice amount of money for two watches which has never been out of the box that this was the direction given by the Assistant Manager. Going forward, I will be cancelling my Zales card and taking my business elsewhere.

The price of our weddings rings were awesome! However...we had to get my husband ring resized 3 times! Each time we sent it to get it sized it seemed like they just cleaned it and gave it back. My husband finger couldnt had lost that much weight.

The costumer service in this location has gone wayyy down. (A month ago) I had a pair of earrings that needed fix, the service was so bad that I just returned them. I didn’t leave a review then because I’m better at letting things go. Now I’ve left this review because I took my wedding ring to be cleaned and the guy just soaked it. I said it still has some stuff on it and he just brushed it off with a toothbrush and gave it back to me. I’m really disappointed and hope someone higher up in the chain sees this and corrects the problem.

Great service! Very professional and nice staff! I came in looking for a ring for my now fiancee 😊. I was very indecisive about the kind of ring I wanted but a very special saleswoman quickly made my mind up wit an exceptional purchase. My fiancee loves the ring and so does her friends!! Me and my husband drove out there to look at rings..However, the lady working didnt seem interested in helping us at all.. not sure if she was scared because the coronavirus or other reasons..nevertheless we left..very disappointed...i wont waste another trip to Dearborn...

I made the mistake of shopping for my wife’s engagement ring at Zales. I was sold a credit card under a 12 months 0% interest promotion by a sales woman who specifically stated the balance needed to be paid off within 12 months of my FIRST BILLING DATE to avoid interest, I asked her several times to verify the date and we wrote down the final due date on my credit card pamphlet. I had the balance fully paid off by the date we agreed upon, I am then sent a email saying I owe $650 in interest from the purchase. I called the credit card helpline to find out the saleswoman told me false information during and after the credit card sale. The balance needed to be paid off 12 months from the PURCHASE DATE. The credit card company told me Zales would take care of it. I contacted the Zales customer service line and was told the store manager would be able to take care of it. The store manager refused to help in any way. She informed me that I was out of luck and that the credit card company is the only one who can take care of it.. They illegally advertised and sold a false credit card promotion and instead of taking care of it they are giving me the run around. The saleswoman made a obvious mistake and Zales refuses to make it right. The sales people at this location are extremely disingenuous and very shady, at the very least extremely poorly trained.I was a loyal customer and had spent quite a bit there, now I will tell everyone about how unethical Zale’s business practices are. The customer service experience I had was horrible. On top of that my wife’s wedding ring had to be repaired within 6 months because the main stone started coming loose. I would avoid Zales at all costs.

When it and they were super nice. However, they took two months to get y ring back to me after they said it should take 3-4 weeks. And every time we came in they gave us the run around. They are very nice but they are unorganized.

DO NOT COME TO THE FAIRLANE ZALES. Terrible customer service by not just one, but THREE of their HORRIBLY TRAINED staff, this evening. You would think they would use the language and customer service experience that would help you shop, but instead they are rude, and act in a bully like manner. YOU WILL RUN FROM THE STORE AFTER HOW BAD THEY TREAT YOU.

My experience was horrible the don’t treat people with the manors of respect and there service is so slow, I call twice and each time the was ok sir we will call you back and the don’t, I walk today to pick my diamond wedding rings which I already paid for expedited service extra 35$ and the was oh sorry but who ever person told you that we have expedited the service he was wrong because we don’t have this kind of service!!!!and easily was just saying we are sorry for the inconvenience?!!!what the did to fix the situation???Oh of curse nothing.It’s the worst service I ever seen In my life ever.

Zales has a great selection of jewelry. However the customer service is terrible. The sales consultants dont know the products, they dont offer credit applications and they are plain rude. Please do yourself a favor and go see Franklin at Kays Jeweler if you are at Fairlane Mall. At least all of their sales associates are approachable.

THERE ARE MUCH BETTER JEWELRY STORES IN THE AREA. DO NOT GO TO ZALESHorrible customer service received by the store manager. Or should I say no customer service as she refused to help in any way after purchases were made.I bought a watch for myself,, a ring for myself & a watch as a gift. The person I bought the watch for had one just like it, so I tried to return it & the manager refused saying she cant return a watch that has been worn even tho it was never taken out of the box.The ring was sent out to be sized, almost a month later I was told they cannot size it to the size I need. I asked if I could just get the money back & they said it would have to be sent back to the store & then I could come & return it( which doesnt make sense to me but whatever) I was told that it typically takes 2-3 business days. Its been 2 weeks. & They still dont have it back.I have a friend who works in another jewelry store who said they are probably purposely stalling so by the time they tell me they have it, its too late for me to return it.

After telling​ each customer service representative that my name is on the account to pick up, I have been turned away 2 times now to pick up my wedding ring (after resizing and cleaning) and my fiances ring. An inconvenience to drive 35 minutes out of my way just for the representative not to check in the computer notes and only read my fiances name. Make sure you make whatever representative from here write on a paper both of your names, their initials, and it stating either of you can both pick up your orders. No effort in helping. Will not buy anything else from you.

I had an amazing experience at Zales store# 1697.I came here with my girlfriend on May 20th to look at some rings and was helped by the most wonderful young lady named Hadeel, as soon as I walked in she was warms and friendly when greeted me. My girlfriend went to the restroom and walked around the mall while I looked at at rings.While I had no idea I would be buying a ring that day it must have been Destiny because I had been wanted to find an engagement ring for her. Hadeel helped find the perfect ring that was affordable and beautiful, she was very knowledgeable, kind and proffessional so that when my girlfriend returned to Zales Hadeel helped me act as though I didnt get the ring (so my girlfriend wouldnt know). May 30th I proposed and am now engaged. Im so happy with my purchase and so happy that my I was helped by such a sweet person and I just want to thank Hadeel and Zales store #1697 for making my first experience easy and exciting. Hadeel is awesome and even called me to check and see how things went. Ive since returned to Zales to get my finger sized and Hadeel was as helpful as ever. I will be doing all my jewelry shopping at her store in the future. Thank you Hadeel and thank you Zales store #1697. Shop here ladies and gentlemen, you wont be sorry. 5 stars
