Justin the manager is a rude person who needs to leave customer service. Verizon has the worst customer service and this specific store is the worst. I hated to even give them 1 star. I have had on ongoing issue with Verizon for three weeks resulting from just trying to purchase a phone. I have been on the road and a store in Georgetown Ky immediately got someone on the line to explain where things where in the resolve. It was not resolved by the time I was given so I am now in Dayton and went into the Centerville store. After waiting my turn for over 30 minutes all they did was hand me a piece of paper with the customer service number on it and refused to help at all. They are more concerned that they may lose a sale instead of helping a customer that has been with Verizon for over 15 years. Make sure this is the way you want to be treated before entering this store

Very poor service today. We made an appointment for 3:00, showed up early and still had to wait more than 20 minutes to be waited on. In addition, we were told to bring in our new phones when we received them and they would assist in setting them up. Well today, nope, we do not do that, you have to call Tech Service. In addition, we were told we get 50% off accessories, nope, that is not the case. Plus they want $60 for a screen protector that sells for $5 on Amazon. Not sure why they even have the store with this poor customer service.

Dont try and call the store as you will be on hold FOREVER, and thats if you magically find the right combinations of buttons to press on your keypad to get through to the store VS the sales department located in another state. All I wanted to know is if they add an accessory in stock. It was pathetic the amount of time I had to wait. Once someone did answer the phone of course it was a call center. I was told that many stores are not answering their phones due to the pandemic (really?) and that I would have to go to the store just to cancel a sale I made online for two phone adapters.

I came in a couple of weeks ago to either get a new phone or discuss using my insurance. I was told they were too busy to help me that day and that I needed to go home and submit a claim to my insurance. I was really taken aback and left without saying anything. A few days ago I attempted to use my insurance and I ran in to some problems. I walked in to the same store this evening and was met at the door by the same employee that was previously too busy to help me. I showed him the back glass of my phone and explained that the insurance claim was denied on the website. He agreed that it was odd. I explained that I had not spoken to the company on the phone, only via their website. I also stated that I was asking for help from the company that I pay $215 to a month. I can only assume this employee was still too busy to assist me as he informed me that I was try to help you. by suggesting to call the insurance company. I have had some outstanding customer service at this location in the past that did not involve the employees passing my request off for help as someone elses problem. I opted to turn around and walk out as I did not appreciate the complete attitude I have received from the same employee twice in a row. If he couldnt help me, there are ways of saying that, that do not involve an attitude.

Aaron and Kyle were helpful, but the Verizon policy of employees no longer setting up and transferring data from your old to new phone is a joke. I had to pay an activation and set up fee, only to be told they cannot transfer my data or help me in store if I am having problems. I tried calling their customer service and tech support, only to be bounced around between automated menus and no help provided in the end.Save yourself some time and go to an authorized Verizon dealer, where their staff will actually help you. Or, walk into Best Buy like I did where their staff are more than willing to assist, because that is what customer service is about.

We went here to upgrade our phones to new 5g models. We all work full time and had arranged to meet up from different locations at the same time as this was the rare case we were all off work.When we arrived the guy at the door inside told us that there was nobody there to help us. We said we were more than willing to wait for assistance and asked how long he thought it would take. To which he responded that nobody could help us for 3 days and we had to make an appointment. Obviously this was very disappointing because we had made the trip there and wasted everyones time. In 3 days we will be back at work.We then asked the guy if he could at least give us some information about the trade ins when it comes to upgrading to 5g. Not surprisingly at this point he told us that he didnt know anything about that stuff and that we needed to call customer service.TLDR we are very disappointed in this location that apparently doesnt have enough staff to warrant being open and the staff they do have are apparantly undertrained and rude.

So I came to this location a week and a half ago to be greeted with a sign on the door stating that I had to schedule an appointment. So I went home and tried to schedule an appointment. They were booking out about a week and a half. I went ahead and signed up and clearly stated in the reason for my appointment that I wanted to purchase a new phone and upgrade my plan. Today, I show up for my schedule appointment and walk in the door. I get told that they cannot sell me a phone because they are not staffed for sales. I said, but I have a scheduled appointment. He said Im sorry were not staffed for that right now. I said, so youre telling me that I waited a week and a half, came during my scheduled time, and you cannot help me. Again he said Im sorry were not staffed for that. I understand that sometimes things change, especially during Covid. But a little communication prior to me leaving work early, driving across town, and waiting a week and a half for my appointment would have been very nice. I have been a Verizon customer for many many years. This is not the level of customer service I have come to expect from Verizon. I am supremely disappointed and very angry.

Brought over 3 lines from Sprint after being with Sprint for 25 years. Sprint couldnt figure out how to lower my bill. With Verizon, I was told that bringing three lines, turning in two phones, Id receive two (2) $300 credits on the new lines, plus some $$$ back on the turned in phones (ended up being $98 for one, $219 for the other). PLUS, my phone bill would be under $200/mo - which is what I wanted in the first place.To date, only one phone has been properly rebated - no gift cards, no rebate on the second phone - so, missing $819 PLUS my phone bill is WAY over $200/mo - have called customer support, been transferred multiple times, pushed over to different departments multiple times- e-rebate doesnt know anything and cant seem to find any records but customer service can see what Im owed. The trade-in department kept me on hold for over 90 minutes then dropped my call. They seemed so nice and on top of everything, but it feels like once the ink was dry, they dropped my concerns like a bad habit. If the promises made arent honored, were changing companies asap. I like loyalty, but not when its a one-way street. :(

Went to Verizon store to switch, was there for three hours got supposedly free and discounted stuff, and payed 500 dollars, only every phone including the β€œfree one” was locked into twenty four month payment plan without telling us. And the accessories were all forty each. Not to mention no price tag on anything. Our service in the store was great at first. However, please be aware of their talk about promotions. We were told that when we purchased our iPad that it was $150 off with their current promotion and that the activation fee would be waived since the iPad had to be shipped to us. We even asked if we would own the iPad outright immediately since we paid the full purchase price minus the promotion of $150 and the worker said β€œyes” and that we could cancel the line for it immediately. Well here we are a month later and the customer service representative said the $150 off was for a two year line promotion which was not disclosed to us and that the worker who sold it to us did not put in to waive the activation fee. So here I am owing over $100 more on this bill thanks to their incompetence. I will not be purchasing from this location and am still considering canceling my account completely.

Our previous experience at the store has been marginal at best. We decided to upgrade our phones at the Apple store. They were very helpful and made sure the new phones were activated and all the information transferred. They were even helpful in making sure we knew how the phones worked --- much better than the Verizon store service. They even warned us Verizon may try to charge us for the service they provided. They did. $40 per phone. Yesterday I was on hold with the digital assistant for over three hours. So far today, Ive been on hold for FIVE HOURS and still no response to my question about why I should pay Verizon for a service they didnt provide. Ive been with them over 20 years, but Im thinking its time to find a provider that actually provides customer service. I realize COVID may mean limited staffing, but over 8 hours of being on hold with no response is no way to run a business.

I came in to get help with my phone because the screen was cracked and I could no longer make calls or send texts. I was in the store for a total of about 5 minutes, the sales rep that helped me didnt give me his name, he verified that my phone was covered by insurance and then handed me a brochure and told me to call the device protection company... with a phone he knew couldnt receive calls because I showed it to him. Ive attempted to file the complaint online, however Ive received 2 response emails telling me they cant read the forms Im submitting. I cannot call the company to find out what about the forms is ineligible because I dont have a working phone. So Im now 4 hours into this process that probably would have taken 20 minutes in the store if they had assisted me in anyway other than handing me a brochure and basically telling me to go deal with it myself.

It was good, just a different experience during this Covid-19 time. My fiance and I were both trying to switch our service from another provider and both needed to buy new phones. They still would only allow one of us in the store. We ended up doing most of it over the phone while one was inside the store and one was out in the car. Overall, it worked out and we were able to get everything switched. Just hard for my fiance to select a phone case and accessories from the car.

Considering the relationship, if you could call it that, Ive had with the Huber Heights Version store; the one down on State Route 725, would have to be considered great. These people actually listened, and was able to work out a plan that gave me all the things I needed in a phone, and only increased my monthly payment by a few dollars. I would absolutely recommend the Version store on 725. If its possible they will find a way to help you get your cell phone needs met.

I went to purchase a new phone, and was RUDELY greeted by the door person, in regards to a mask. As asked, I put one on. Matt was my salesman, and a HORRIBLE one at that. I explained exactly what I was looking for, and how much I was willing to spend. He began arguing with me about what I would like or dislike. He mumbled under his mask, I could not understand him. I lowered my mask to explain that to him, and another employee screamed across the store, Lady, put your mask back on! Matt was of no help to me at all. He obviously cared less about MY wants or needs. He only worried about his commission. I have never in my life been treated so horribly by anyone!!! I will NEVER, EVER step foot back into that store. We found out later this was completely untrue. Im not sure if he was just confused or lazy either way thats not a good look for the company. I just went to activate my service and was denied help because I didnt have a mask when I said we arent required to wear one the securitas lady yelled into the store asking if a man would service me outside. He came out of the store and started raising his voice asking me repeating do you think I wanna wear this mask, do you think I wanna wear this mask the proceeds telling me to go away. Customer service is great if you ever get to speak with someone. I was given a deal of buy one get one free on the Note 8 only to find out after I was locked into the deal that my free phone isnt actually free and the salesperson lied only to make a sale. Ive tried for nearly 2 years to get Verizon to hold up to their end of the deal. Customer service; at this location, online and on the phone, gives me the run around and their explanation leaves me more confused than when I started. Maybe now is the time to switch to another carrier.

Long story short I had some issues with my orders. I cleared them up with HQ. And I was told by HQ that the rep in store should call HQ and ask about why the order was still pending to help clear it up in a timely manner. (I placed an online order that was suppose to be same day pick-up.) After telling the rep all she had to do was call, she basically said that wasnt how it worked, and we should wait for the pending to go through. And that is all that she could do.I waited in that store for three hours and then still left without my new phone.Today I called HQ and they said I that yes she should have called and would have found out that I needed to call about an application verification. So I waited 3 hours because this person was either not trained well or too lazy to call.Additionally before I came in, I tried calling them ahead of time, and they didnt pick up their phone, I tried to call for 1 hour until I finally got through. When I got in the store, you could not hear any phone calls from the floor, so maybe that was the issue.They seemed to handle everyone else well, and were very busy. But the whole experience yesterday has me rethinking whether or not to continue with this company for my cell phone needs, or at least travel another town over to use another store.

I went in there yesterday with my mom and it was such a wonderful experience for us. Usually getting new phones is something I dread doing, because I know its just going to be a hassle and my mom isnt going to understand half of the things they explain to us, because her English isnt very good, but this was not the case at all. We were helped right when we walked in the door and the person helping us spoke Spanish, which helped my mom tremendously. He explained everything in detail and was just so nice and so helpful. He later had us go to a different station where they transferred all of our data from our old phones to our new ones, and the guys working there were amazing as well. They were very detailed and organized and also very nice. The closing manager ended up helping us to the end and he was so patient although we kept him a little late, and took his time to get to know us while all of our data transferred. It was just nice to have a situation that I am dreading turn into a very pleasant and easy experience. My mom cant stop telling me how happy she was with the experience and how much she loves her new phone. We are very very very happy costumers and will gladly go back when its time.

**PART TWO SEE MY HUSBANDS PART ONE FOR MORE** FAST FORWARD 3 days with more than 8 hours on the phone with customer service about my wife’s number and our bill, we find out that the β€œfree” accessories and the Google Homes we were billed for. The taxes and fees were apparently also the cost of all the accessories worked into our first bill. We were also charged for the protection program, another $22 a month, that we did NOT want and we were not asked if we wanted it. We returned to the store to resolve the issue, asked to speak to a manager, and Aaron (the guy we dealt with the first time who is not a manager) came to us moments later. After trying to explain what had happened and what we were led to believe, he gave us a bad attitude, said he explained everything clearly and that we understood everything the day we purchased our phones, and he could not explain where our paperwork was. We asked to speak to a manager and he refused to let us, saying she was in a meeting...although Ive never heard of a store not having a manager available, especially when we were there for over a half hour and asked to speak to a manager the moment we walked in the door. BTW, when we checked in, the guy at the door said it would be just a moment till the NEXT available manager could connect with us...meaning there was more than one manager there.Long story short, we disputed with Aaron as he continued to defend himself and claim he told us all this information and asked us all these questions that he did NOT. My wife continuously asked for him to just return all the items to which he refused and kept telling us to leave the store and go back home (15 minutes away from the store) for the paper that he lost the original to because the was our only β€œproof”. In the meantime, he made multiple comments alluding to him believing my wife was lying about the situation repeatedly and did not listen to any of the polite β€œplease just return our items”. He eventually felt β€œuncomfortable” and handed us to another employee who did an awesome job of returning the accessories we were sold. If you choose to shop here, please ask for an itemized list of what you are paying for and make sure you keep an eye out for your bill. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone with Verizon’s billing who had to fix a ton of issues based on our visit to this store. Luckily our bill that was over $500 is now back down to where we were promised it was going to be...and if you’re a new customer like me who never knew what the taxes and fees were, its under $100 for 2 customers including the activations. This was one of the most ridiculous experiences we have ever been through. Be safe and smart out there.

Employee(yes I know his name) had a horrible time putting one on and asked a co-worker to do the other one.Assured me he was the master at it. By the very next day BOTH screen protectors were broken. Drove back on Thursday and was told they were out of them but more in Friday. Drove back and waited about 30 minutes (they were busy) on Friday only to be told by Matt we had to go through the screen company to get new ones. After I told him no we had been told differently he did check and said yes they would do it. Then he informed me they would NOT install them though because it was their fault they broke. I rather loudly asked how that made sense. I also will admit I told him he was pissing me off. They have us the protectors but we have to install them. I have never written a long review before but this was ridiculous.

I have a business account and Verizon can often cost me a lot of time on the phone. But if you go to this store, its fast, they take care of EVERYTHING and theres just no hassle. Thanks guys, keep up the great work!

Called to get some information about international plans. They connected me with a virtual device. I typed in my question and all I got was a list of things that didn’t relate to international plans. Whatever happened to customer service were you could talk to someone. With the money I pay you should be able to call and talk to someone.

I was very disappointed in my recent experience at this Verizon location, specifically with the support team. The national support team was helpful in giving me a solution for getting my iPhone 6 swapped out in a retail store, since it arrived in the mail damaged. Since this store is the closest one to my house, I went there to swap it out. They of course did not have one in stock, but thats not a fault of theirs. I explained what I was told by their national support team and how I should be able to exchange a phone in the store with no issues. This seemed to be new information for the employees at this store. Chuck and another gentleman attempted to assist me with my problem, but only made matters worse. They stated that they could only do a warranty exchange on the DOA iPhone. They then told me that since the phone is damaged, which was at no fault of mine, they would ship it to their warranty claims center for evaluation. Since the phone is damaged, Chuck then told me that I would be charged $500 for a replacement phone. They suggested that I wait for a form to go through that the phone support personnel submitted. I was told that the form should go through on either Monday or Tuesday and then I will be shipped a new phone. I received no call Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from anyone at Verizon. I then called their national phone support team to get an update on the progress of my claim. Linda was the woman I talked to and verified that all the information that I received from this store was false. Chuck and the other associate gave me false information pertaining to swapping out my phone, being charged $500, and being able to activate my phone and use it while my claim was being handled. Luckily, Linda from phone support sorted everything out and verified that I could swap my phone out in stores. If I would have known that on the Saturday that I was in the Verizon store, I could have called other stores and had my phone swapped out that day. Instead, I drove an extra 40 miles to the only store that had my model phone, where the phone was swapped out in a matter of minutes with no issues what-so-ever. I do not recommend going to this store for support because they do not seem to have a grasp of their own support policies.

At this location, ai is certainly used improperly. While 4-5 staff members walk around with tablets, only 4-5 other staff members can actually help you. Therefore, the wait time can be extensive. Nice store, just not such a pleasant experience once in it. How about 2 staff members manage check ins, not 4-5? Hard to watch them stand around and tell ya someone will be with you.

We upgraded our family phones, and 2 months later find out from Verizon we didnt get the discounts we were promised. The sales rep at this store (Sean?) either lied or didnt know what he was talking about when he sold us the devices. Beware! Get all promised discounts in writing, and be sure the estimated new payments reflect ALL the correct discounts you are expecting. (He said these estimates are never right...the real bill will have all the discounts. Baloney!)
