Puff is fantastic! I love the atmosphere, staff, and products. From consultation to braiding my hair, Asha is professional through and through. And great conversation, too! I learn something every time. She is fast and thorough.

Im always satisfied with the services at Puff Apothecary. Such a talented group of beauticians, especially Ms. Asha Parson! The salon interior is pristine and beautifully designed. Also really enjoy the range of Black-owned hair and body products for sale.

Highly recommend this natural hair boutique. All staff members are very accepting, supportive and professional. As a adoptive parent of a young girl with natural hair I have a lot of insecurity when it comes to natural hair and I want the best for her. I searched for a place to care for her natural hair and feel so fortunate to have this business in Dayton. The natural hair products available are amazing as well.

Extremely unprofessional, very very rude and childish. Because my husband couldnt make 1 appointment they wanted to charge him $95 just to EVER BE ABLE TO RETURN FOR THEIR SERVICES. And then he would have to pay for the service of the new appointment They were very rude with me when i was scheduling my husbands appointments told me it was inappropriate for me to come to his appointment with him and to schedule his appointmemts for him, mind you he works long hours and is unable to call most times to schedule on his own. The owner called my husband 2x at work he couldnt talk so he returned her call when he got home she told him he cannot be seen anymore because of cancelling 1 appointment and then proceeded to scream and yell like a child so that my husband couldnt speak or even ask a question. We definitely will never return to this buisness, they are not very well ran nor do they have respect for people, I understand a buisness looses money when a appointment is cancelled but this is ridiculous! Oh and dont let me forget the owner which decided to respond as if shes done nothing wrong told me it was inappropriate for me to come to my husbands appointments and to schedule his appointments and she is acting as if she was not hype on the phone in this comment... Upset her and see her true colors I bet youll feel the same way my husband and I did.

Definitely highly recommend Puff Apothecary and Asha’s services! Went in last week for a spring cut and was not disappointed. This was the first cut that met all my needs since being a curly girl natural. Will most definitely be going back and encouraging others to do so also!

Baybeee! My #selfcare sesh at Puff Apothecary bout brought me to tears 😭. I have always done my best to embrace my imperfections & love the skin I’m in. But these #4C hair struggles are real 😫. Never going back to the creamy crack, but I had kinda thrown in the towel on tryna figure these curls of mine out 😣... then came Puff.One of my “adopted daughters” referred me & told me Ms. Asha would give my 👑 the healing it needed & she was right! Asha treated and cared for each of my follicles like they were own, being gentle & intentional with every strand and step. The salon is organically, aesthetically appealing & calming. Located in the heart of our beloved Oregon District, I felt like a big city girl in a small town world as I strutted my new ‘do down 5th street!Needless to say Ima nappy, happy girl!

This was my first visit to this salon. I made an appointment online for a natural hair curl definition consultation. Jacqui was very nice and you can tell she loves to do hair. I made an appointment with her for a wash, trim, and style later this month. If you have natural hair I would definitely recommend you give Jacqui a try.

They do fantastic work

I received box braids at Puff Apothecary! I was astounded by the whole hair process- it is unlike any other hair braiding experience I’ve had in Dayton. And by far, the best hair experience I’ve had in my life. The ladies here are extremely knowledgeable about hair from the proper care techniques, to natural products, to affordable products. I feel personally grateful for this company because they offer positive support to young black women who have felt lost with how to care for their hair. With that being said, they welcome all people. I learned that my hair can be easy to deal with. Thank you, Puff! And a big thanks to Dana and Erin who personally helped me! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely a five star experience! The entire staff was professional, friendly and flexible with the our bridal partys schedules. The bride had a specific vision of finger waves and they brought the vision to life beautifully! Ill be back for sure!

They have products that you cant find in larger chain stores. This business is also a natural hair salon. I love this place!!!!
