My daughter asked me to check this café out with her, and must say I was very impressed. Ive been in the the shopping area where the café is located and I never stepped inside. The cashier and the lady who made our drinks were very very nice to us, they told us they have live music, karaoke nights and comedy shows at the café. Excellent coffee experience, bakery items are magnificent as are the coffee offerings. Subtle but consistent mild music vibe that is definitely a step above a borrowed play list. Meticulously maintained and competent staff. Highly recommend.

Just tried this new spot we found and the vanilla latte and almond croissant were wonderful! Great prices too!

Fiancé and I have went here a few times already, they even remembered his order from a month or two ago. The customer service is fantastic, they give you a mom and pop feel atmosphere.

I truly love this place! Their iced lattes aren’t too sweet like most places, but they’re still smooth. They have a ton of pastry options including empanadas (my favorite!) and just more than the usual muffin and croissant. It’s not overbearing like most coffee shops that have all this hip and modern decor & furniture. This place is just clean, simple, and very cozy! I always feel out of place at most coffee shops and like I’m supposed to dress nice and hipster before grabbing coffee but this this honestly just feels like a family get together kind of place. It’s my favorite!

My mom liked her coffee so I’ll give the place two stars but other than that we didn’t really enjoy the place.We got the beef and spinach empanada also the cheese tacanos with a hot chocolate and coffee. The cheese tacanos were not fully cooked and had raw dough on the inside that at first you would think is cheese but, then notice how stiff the cheese is and how stretchy the dough is.My hot chocolate was a little more than half full while my moms coffee reached the top. That annoyed me but I understand if they focused on the coffee more since it’s a coffee place. The beef empanada didn’t taste like beef it was mostly beans and it wasn’t flavorful. It was ok. They gave my mom the wrong empanada, she ordered spinach but got chicken. The chicken was also okHonestly it wasn’t the best experience and If I went again it would be to try the brownie but I’m sticking to Bravos food court empanadas instead.

This is a little local coffee shop, Offer a good selection of pastries, salads, and coffee and tea drinks. Think of Starbucks with a little bit more Latin flare. On my visit I got a Chicken Empanada and a Cappuccino. both were very good. The shops atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. Has a very good coffee small when you fist walk in, everything looks fresh and made to order. It is a very good shop for any coffee lover.My only Con, is it does have a lot of low carb options. The almond milk there currently use is sweeten, and for there sugar alternative options, they have equal, sweet N low and Splanda, (the normal Pink, Blue, yellow packets) Stave, or monk-fruit (whole earth) would be a good option. I not sure if they offer heavy cream is an milk option for the coffee I will ask next time.For low carb they do have some fresh looking chicken salads, and a Cheese and tomato olive /w pesto tray that looks very good.overall this place looks very promising, and I hope they continue to improve there menu options. This is a place I will be returning for a coffee fix.

Coffee is wonderful. The pastry selection is to die for. The staff is very kind and helpful. They also have live music instead of the traditional canned muzak. Its a great place to hang out, enjoy some coffee and good food with friends, and most importantly support local business and local musicians.

I was their first online order placed. I mean, historical, right? :)We had breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious! Super soft bagel and croissant, they were very yummy. Its going to be our new place for quick orders. We tried 3 of their Medialunas, too. The regular, sweet, and dulce de leche. They really know how to make yummy croissants. I recommend trying the Dulce de Leche one. :)For environment, I didnt stay for long (carry-out), but the place looks great!For service, staff is very nice. They were all attentive and grateful for us coming in to give them a try and with that said...Support small businesses, yall!

Really cool place! Loved the inside and cant wait for them to have the ability to use their stage for music. Provided hand sanitizer at entrance and felt very clean. Coffee and chai tea was good but a little watery. Happy to go back!

This cafe is adorable and the coffee was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a little stage area and I imagine this being a great small event space post-COVID. This shop is a great addition to Shenandoah and I’m excited to visit again.

We have been watching for this to open for a while and had our first trip today. I got a Filomenas DDL (Dulce de Leche) Frappe. It was very good and my daughter devoured the Vanilla Sky Frappe. Staff were friendly. We will be back!

Filomenas was a pleasant surprise. We live across the street from Shenandoah Square & wanted to check out this new place. In my opinion, the quality is better than Starbucks or Dunkin Doughnuts, because the food is made with love. Staff was friendly & attentive. We were able to meet the owner, very welcoming & kind, and most importantly humble. He welcomed our feedback and was very appreciative for it. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS! This is a must go to place for great fresh brewed coffee, bagels, paninis, smoothies, salads, scones, cookies, muffins, empanadas, wraps. The prices are overly reasonable, almost too good to be true. What I liked the most was the decoration. Medium vintage but beautiful, with excellent taste. I ordered a cappuccino oat and it was perfect, they have lactose free options (almond milk and oatmeal). There are hot and cold drinks. I had an almond croissant for breakfast along with my coffee and it was very tasty, there was also nutella, muffins, cakes and savory options. Good place to sit for a while. The place is not noisy, it has a very adequate background music.
