This is a great little museum. WW I and Christmas temporary exhibits aside from the usual regional fascinating exhibits.

During totally trains its 5 for adults and 10 for a family. Little kids are free and I saw 6+ had a fee. Its a nice little museum and they had a whole room set to worry a working model train exhibit. The trains were running, they had cases and exhibits with more information. There were a lot of things not to touch and I think bringing a 2 and 4 year old was a bit young, at least for the 2 year old.

I love history, trains and artifacts. Museum of the San Ramon Valley is a great place to bring your kids and learn about our culture. Visiting this place is a fun activity for my nieces and nephews, so this would be on my to-do list as their cool aunt. The staff here are nice and friendly too. Highly recommended museum to spend the weekend with the family.

Really an interesting little place to visit to get info on historical aspects of Danville and the valley. Main building is historic Danville Railroad station which has been completely restored. Adjacent historic caboose has some interesting exhibits and houses two very clean and well maintained restrooms. The whole place is just fun for a visit for adults and kids. They have different exhibits that rotate...so it an ever changing environment which is fun for more than one visit.

A small local museum that is better then average. Personable volunteers who will give guided tours, for a small fee.located in an old train station in Danville. Exhibits change from time to time. Its also a jumping off point for visiting the Eugene ONeal National Historic Site

This is a nice museum with a staff who works hard to tell great stories and provide context about the history of the San Ramon Valley.
