Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a very brief wait for my exam and my new glasses arrived sooner than I expected. Picking glasses is a stressor for me and the staff were both patient and helpful in the process, making it comfortable from start to finish. I have also taken my son here and they were wonderful with him. We will return!

This has been my eye doctor for YEARS and I appreciate the staff being so patient and kind! If you encounter an issue, they fix it. There was an issue with my glasses due to technical issues and not only did they just send off the messed up pair to be fixed, they also allowed me to pick a second pair at no additional cost, for the trouble! Thanks danville eye center! Cant wait to get them both back!

Called and talked to a lady that put me on hold and then hung up on me. I’ve called like 6 times after over hours and no one will answer the phone. Communication is next to impossible.

Very professional and great service! The lady with the pretty eyes that worked in the glasses part helped me see finally! I can now wear contacts and my reading glasses are long forgotten. I love this place i will be back!

Just interested in upselling. Tried to get me to buy as many options as possible. My wife got glasses here and neither the lab nor the technician bothered to check them. They also didnt fit them, just handed them to her. She never has been satisfied with them and when we decided to see a different eye doctor, he noticed the problem right away. They ground her bifocals crooked!

I can not stand this place. Prepped me wrong for a procedure I layed in the floor for hours, vomiting, with a terrible headache, my mom was sent to pharmacy to get nausea and pain medications. Had to go back the next day for emergency due to passing out my eye pressure was too high. Will not ever go back😡.

I found an exact match to 8 frames they have over priced by over 200 in their off limits to the poor section. How are these guys legally still operating? I have 5 children and had to pay for 3 of our lenses and frames despite our insurance saying they would have covered it, they said this office never even called in (at that time). Im going to bet they called in after waiting a while and did a double collect -that called medical fraud my friends. Staff was increadably rude to specific clients particularly those of low income and extrealy insensitive to clients needs to fitting and ability to see, their sitting area reeked for children and they rushed the imposed prices almost as if they expected u not to have any questions or argument an were willing to be a noxious and imply holding your eyes ransom unless you pay..all in all the second worse eye care experience from Danville eye docs my familys had in the past 3 years I do not recommend general public take their children here for anything or adults of any age for that matter

2 of my children have gone here and weve had so many issues and the office staff arent helpful at all and rarely answer the phone. We waited almost 5 months for a pair of glasses for our 1 year old before giving up and going somewhere else and having them back within 2 weeks.

I give them negative 10 stars a senior who went here in Feb ordered glasses her glasses then Covid struck we called each month the place making her glasses is closed then July the day we called they said they would order that day called again in Aug and they hadnt ordered them so said they would we said her glasses were broke and she is in college at Centre then Sept we called again and they said ohh your insurance doesnt cover this so we went to get her prescription and go somewhere else they couldnt find it sigh so they did an eye exam right then and there but but guess what??? Made her pay for it!!!!! She went somewhere else to order

Dr Haddix is excellent. She took the time to answer questions and explain things. She was friendly and made you feel like you were a part of the process, not just sitting there waiting to get done. I highly recommend Dr. Haddix, if she were to ever leave this office, I would follow her to her next practice. All staff was friendly and made you feel welcome, not just another #.

Great experience!!! Mike and his staff go out of the way to make you comfortable and keep you well informed about the well being of your vision and eyes. Could not have been happier about the way I was treated and the pricing was clear and competitive. Always a pleasure to visit my eye doctor!!!!Well 4 years later noting has changed. Lost my last pair of glasses, Mike and Kim promptly got me in for an exam and in less than a week had me set up with two new pair of awesome glasses. The staff was polite and helpful. All at a great price. Thanks again guys for a great experience.

The day of the exam everything went fairly well. Other than sitting after the exam waiting on someone to assist with glasses. Actually receiving the glasses as been an entirely different story. Was told it would be 3 weeks and it has been 3 weeks and a few days and they may be ready tomorrow. I believe they may be great for your exam but if you are needing the product, get your prescription and go someplace else to purchase.

Worst. Just the worst...you guys make Walmart eye glasses look more appealing. (Not the eye docs. The dep. That sells frames so not to confuse)My sons very first pair of glasses..an you made it a bad experience. Your ousting patients based on weather or not the insurance company is paying fast enough - that is pathetic. If you have passport insurance -do not go here and plan to fork or 50 if you do. I strongly suggest that you contact your ins co first before finalizing anything. We got the run around for almost three weeks..on a first time frames. Entrance road in dire need of repairs off 127. Staff were rude when finance was implied an suddenly nice of you forked it over. In fact we noticed as others came an went that clients with state insurance were treated considerably with less equality an notibly less dignity attitude wise from staff.As can be noted for their selection available also to state insurance ( it was such an insulting selection that it was isolated off to the side away from all the other nicer frames). Easy entrance crowed parking. this place is for the well off middle class and the rich.. Dont waste ur time or money here. I seriously got the overwhelming sense that they only serve the general public aside from the rich - just to avoid issues with the law..an would like to note this is my first time complain about any eye glass place. Not sure about clean didnt see any one wash hands had a Weird smell in general. Kids said play area not clean..on the other hand if you have wonderful insurance and can get glasses that suit ur needs and want to be in and out quickly. There u go. Hope this helps.

My server was in tears after a group from this establishment left BWR. She was constantly running back and forth to take care of their numerous demands during a busy lunch. They asked for their food to be boxed so she brought out everything they needed and as she picked up the slips she looked very disheartened. It was pitiful. These women should be ashamed of how they acted.

Incredible customer service from the moment I stepped in to all the smiling faces until I walked out. I’ve worn glasses since I was 15 and now I’m my forties, and have never had such a thorough exam until I went to Danville Eye Center. I was amazed at all the extra steps they took in the exam to make sure my eyes had complete care. Dr. Mike explained everything and asked me more than once if I had questions. The staff was so accommodating, friendly and patient, especially the tech that spent so much time with me. I’m a patient of Danville Eye Center for life now. Highly, highly recommended!!

Horrible ServiceMy husband and I scheduled appointments here in early December. The day of our appointment we walked in around lunch to an empty waiting room and several people standing in line waiting to be waited on. Eventually techs started to wander out into the lobby to reluctantly wait on us. This parade took 10-15 minutes past our scheduled appointment. So we were late being seen, with no apologies. (my husband was on his lunch break, but dont mind us.)The exam was rushed but done to completion.After the exam we were shuffled back into the lobby, and greeted by the same reluctant staff. We were shown the limited and very expensive selection, made our orders and left.Fast forward to the next week. I hadnt received any word about my glasses being ready so I called. The first receptionist put me on hold to check my order when a few seconds later another receptionist picks up the phone and greets me with hey girl whats up. I explained who I was and the startled receptionist apologized and put me back on hold. So clearly these people are taking social calls at work. The girl gets back on the line and tells me they are due this week please check again later.The next week after that... I call to check. Irritated receptionist answers explains my package has been lost, call back next week.The third week... call to check again. Irritated receptionist says they still cant find the package. The the line cuts out on her end, but I can still hear her. She starts to shout hello? hello!! then finally grunts very loudly and hangs up on me. I call back and at this point just ask for a refund because these people are a mess. So they refund my money.Should have ended there, right?This week (about a month later), these people call me and say Maam we have found your glasses they have finally come in, would you like them? I say, Sure, will I need to pay for them?Their answer. YES.YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!I told them I would think about it and hung up. Go here at your own risk. These people are infuriating!

I have used Danville Eye Care center since 2011 and I must say they have gone down hill. My daughters eye exam was scheduled at 9:15am and we did not get seen till well after 11:30am. There were so many people in the waiting room there was nowhere to sit so I had to hold my baby and tame my other 2 children. When we finally got to a room they did my daughters eye exam and them moved us into the back waiting room another 30 minutes . A woman put us in a room and then told us she was mistaken and had to be placed back into the back waiting room. After everything was done we went to pick out glasses for my 6 year old daughter. I picked 1 pair and she picked the other . It took forever to get anybody to help me and when I finally did get help the woman asked my 6 year old if she was sure those were the ones she wanted ? I said yes . I am the mother and those are the ones. Instead of walking away and starting to set her new glasses the woman stood there and continued to look at my Child and ask her if she was sure? This upset me. It then took 2 weeks for 1 pairs of glasses to be ready and then an additional week for the other pair to be ready. A couple days after the exam a woman called and said before I could pick up my daughters glasses I had to pay an extra $20 for an additional exam they had to do on her eyes that my husbands insurance did not cover . She was very rude in telling me that I had to pay this before they word give me my first pair and to have cash only ready at the desk when I walked in. I used to love this place but now its not as good or kind as it used to be.

The exam went OK but did have to go back for a second time because I could not see after dark with the new glasses, a first for me. I could not get someone to wait on me on my second trip back to pick up my glasses, had to run someone down to get service. As in other reviews I had to wait three weeks for my glasses and I was paying out of pocket, waiting three weeks is another first for me. I do not recommend Danville Eye Center and will not be back nor will any of my family use use them again. Not satisfied with the service at all. One star because I cannot go lower.

I had a great visit. Learned things about my eyes that previous exams have failed to mention and I go to the eye dr every year. I had a much more complete exam than I have ever had. The staff was friendly and very helpful in picking out my frames. There also took advantage of a 50% off a second pair deal that allowed me to also get prescription sun glasses. The office was clean and fashionable. Overall a great experience.

Doctor Smith is very good. I do not like the service I recieved from the staff. I had paid and placed an order for contacts. I was advised by staff my contacts would back in 7 to 10 days. Two weeks passed and I called to check on the status of my contacts. The staff told me that my contacts was placed on back order and they will put a rush on my order..I would have liked to have recieved a call to let me know that. Here it is 3 weeks. Still no contacts. I will not be ordering from Danvile Eye Center anymore.

I love the eye doctor himself but thats where the good experience ended. I was encouraged to purchase contacts based on a 200.00 rebate offer. I shopped around and found Walmart had the same contacts cheaper but, the rebate offer made them the same price. I decided I wanted to support small businesses and decided to purchase from Danville eye center. That was a mistake. I informed danville eye center that I had never done a rebate before and inquired what the timeline was. First they gave me the wrong offer. I was also not informed the correct information on dates. This was in the fine print on the offer but I did no read fully because I was told I had time. I surpassed the deadline to summit my offer. I was upset so I contacted Danville eye center because thats 200.00! They got defensive and if not admitted wrong doing. They did offer to refund me and allow me to rebuy the contacts so my dates would allow the rebate. I submitted my rebate again only to be told I still couldnt get it because the original exam date and purchase date had to be in the time frame. Again a business pushing offers they dont even understand. Copper vision customer service said, thats really bad customer service. They need to spend more time with sales representatives. So Im out 200.00. I could have just went to Walmart and not had to deal with any of this. In general the doctors are good but I wouldnt purchase contacts here. There needs to be a refocus and retraining on customer service, after all thats the only reason to not go to big box stores.

Omg I can’t even describe how friendly they were.from the front desk to the nurse before the eye doctor coming in to do the exam. They were so kind and they really took the time to answer anything I was wondering about and I’d one didn’t know they sure found out fast. Then let’s focus on the looking at frames and making lense choices wow I was so undecided but they was so patient in letting me be difficult to choose I ended up wanting to try contacts and also went ahead and ordered me some sports goggles again since they was a better deal than the regular glasses not to mention the design was pretty awesome so definently I’d give them a higher than five star if I could I’d go ten stars they was so much better than most I’ve had experience with far exceeded my expectations 100% well I guess I should have waited a little longer because I ordered contacts that cost a pretty penny and they send me freaking trials again there is no way what they sent are the year supply of contacts and for the price I paid it’s ridiculous atleast get my order correct ok I know what the trial box looks like I got four trial packs per eye that’s maybe four months really horrible so for that I am going to knock off a couple stars I give them a three now bc still pretty friendly service but poor on sending out the lenses horrible
