Was very pleased with eye exam ETC. But when time came to pay for my glasses there was quite a controversy over the cost that had bee quoted at the beginning. After much discussion I pd the bill. I could not find sun glasses to fit over my glasses & one of the staff said I had 90 days to find some. So before the 90 days were up I ordered a pair of sun glasses from same place. Again there was a difference in price quote. So Im not pleased with management there. My theory is that you burn me once thats your fault but burn me twice thats my fault! So therefore I can not recommend anyone to attend this place of business.

This place in Danville Illinois is a joke. I went there to get my glasses and had my own prescription from getting safety glasses from my employer. I was a returning customer since this is where I have always gotten my husband and sons glasses. The girl took my prescription and i picked frames and paid almost $400 with insurance. 14 days later I get my new glasses and they make me dizzy. I tell the girl and she says wear them for a week. I do and no change. I take them and my safety glasses and they check and sure enough the girl wrote script down wrong. The say oh so sorry we will rush them....not!!! 2 weeks later Im still waiting for my glasses to be able to see and the office is hateful about it like its not their fault. Dont go HERE.

I have a video.So my daughter had an eye doctor appt the first time I believe june 11th that day was very stressful as my husband works 2nd shift and we had to get up early drive an hour that way. Now we had an eye doctor and it was my fault i didnt keep them and lost them due to keeping appts. Anyways I walk in this one greeted with mariah and another lady. They let us know were late so we have to wait an hour to see him but the place only had one patient. Regardless we found something to do. The biggest part that blew me away is I called making sure they took my insurance which is medicaid I have 10 other calls where I was turned down and this one specifically said yes they take medicaid. So I know I asked. I walk in after an hour and I fill these papers out with family history and then two other forms where it says Ill pay $10 for testing that day but I figured once they ask for my insurance it be covered. They never asked for my card at all . Next we speak with Nicolas the eye doctor on a plan for my daughter. Which is eye drops at next appt. He suggested on eye glasses I asked specifically if they were covered since I have medicaid and he made me speak with ladies up front. Next we did we were scheduling an appt another guy walks in in the middle of it and both ladies intervened with this gentlemen about how he needs to wear a mask even with shot. Then the whitney girl was like arent you guys going to schedule we were walking out because I thought we already set a date. From there we ended up scheduling and left. We get a call in regards of my daughter and her insurance and they had her under some Alexandria moore from New Jersey. In this call I reported how I never even gave a card for insurance and not sure how that happened. Anyways they said bring our insurance card next time and I specifically asked if this is going to be covered under my blue cross blue shield medicaid because they wanted us to pay 45 is what they said at time to do the test. Today we walked in early 947 appt was at 10am. We had a little difficulty with our daughter getting eye drops in because she was scared she has been thru it before so I had to remind her shes okay. We waited for 35 mins. They do her tests in back room take pics and then we talked with Nicolas again. He said my daughter may need to go back to patches like she did when little but I feel that was a bad recommendation thats just going backwards he said his wife would specifically do it next time. We walk up with him back to this whitney girl again and we look at glasses she shows one that insurance would cover for $80 my daughter didnt really like. so we went back up and said will just go thru our old eye place to get her glasses. Next she proceeds to tell me that I owe $50. I said i have my insurance card hold on. I give it to her she tells me we dont accept medicaid. I said excuse me I have said several times over phone and in office that we have medicaid. You even pulled up my daughters old papers letting us know when we would be approved for glasses unless her eyes were worse which was. Not only that you told me about a 45 dollar payment which I specifically said I couldnt pay for and another lady last time said it should be covered and I asked for medicaid 3 times she and you said yes. Why isnt I walk in now your telling me you wont hand me my daughters prescription unless I pay out of pocket. When the first time I called someone asked me of it was employer insurance or medicaid and I said Medicaid then as well. I walked out due to my other daughter and husband in car waiting. We spoke for a second walked in and agreed to pay for it which just came out of our electrical bill. We recorded that she admits to making a mistake and how they wont be asking for insurance over the phone. Before this video she was very rude which is why I chose to record because even though Im under medicaid you will not treat me lower then anyone else. I did my part they didnt do theirs so I rate a one due to this mariah had wrong name fixed it.

If you are just looking for a pair of glasses and a basic eye exam, you will be fine. But if you have a real eye problem or an emergency, this place looks at you more as a customer than a patient. You are likely to get two different optometrists on subsequent visits.

Amanda was very helpful and friendly at the Danville site. The doctor was also very respectful and helpful and explained what had changed with my eyes. I explained how important it was for me to be able to see the computer and now I am typing this review and can clearly see what I am doing. So the glasses worked too! Thanks!

My husband went in for an eye exam today and came out so happy with his experience. All of the staff was new and he explained that they were all very friendly and welcoming. My eye exam was over 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have had a few re-checks, tried 3 different brands of contact lenses, and had multiple strength adjustments. The Optometrist is very knowledgeable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Making absolutely sure that I was in the best possible lenses before ordering made me feel like I wasnt just another sale. I was finally able to sit down with Amanda a few days ago, and order my one year supply of Acuvue daily lenses, which I will have in only about 4 business days! Thank you for ensuring that you are staffing each location with people who genuinely care about their patients!

I enjoy going to All About Eyes, where the employees are professional and friendly, and I dont feel as if their main goal is getting me to spend as much money as they can. The optician, Amanda, was very helpful in helping me choose new glasses. In fact, the frames I chose were a pair that she picked out for me.

Went to all about eyes yesterday as a new patient. Ive now had several excellent experiences with All About Eyes in Danville. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was so top notch that it was striking. From the moment I walked in the door, Kelly and Alex were so welcoming and helpful. Ive never needed glasses so I was unfamiliar with everything but Kelly and Alex made me feel right at home. I had such a good experience I brought my children back. The doctor was wonderful with my son and when he needed glasses, Kelly was right there to tell my son which ones he thought looked cool on him, important for any 7 y/o. Fantastic experience!!!

I was very pleased with my latest visit there. It was my one year eye check up and I was in need of new lenses. Jessie was a great help. She tried hard to find me new frames which I ended up just using my old frames. Ill find out in a few days if I like the new look.

Nice facility, doctor and staff. Several different styles of glasses from a variety of makers (including a few top high-end designers). Contact fittings until you are satisfied. The only thing I didnt care for is the machines ran by the technician werent cleaned off in front of me as I am accustom to which made me a little leery about placing my head on each one.

All of the Danville Staff are extremely helpful when I go in to see them. Rachel helped me find the perfect glasses on August 15th. She was very professional but we still had fun shopping for the frames. At the same time making you feel at home while I am there. Since I can only leave one rating, I need to add that when my daughter came in to shop, she helped her with her glasses also. She then helped me order my replacement contact lenses. I would definitely go there again.

I took my daughter here for a vision check and we were welcomed right away. The staff was friendly, helpful, prompt, and very patient with my 8 year old daughter. The bad news is my daughter has healthy eyes and didnt need to get glasses (which she was looking forward to). We will check again next year. :)

I am 60 years old and have always purchased eyeglasses at my doctors office. However, this year I finally gave up on that since their prices ahave gotten ridiculously out of hand! I went to All About Eyes with my prescription and found not only a much greater selection of eyeglasses but much better service! Rachel was very sweet, helpful and patient with me and never made me feel rushed or pressured. She was friendly and knowledgeable. My two pair of eyeglasses were almost 1/3 of the price theyd have been at the other place. (And I liked them better, too.) I was very pleased with Dr. Saurez, he was very friendly and explained exactly what he was looking for during his exam. After Kelly was very helpful in explaining my insurance benefits and what glasses were part of what promotion. While trying on Frames Alex and Alissa were very helpful in giving me honest feedback on different frames. All three of them were patient. I had to even leave and come back because I had looked at so many and they greeted me with a smile when I returned and helped me make my final selections! Highly recommend!!

Rachel checked me in and was friendly and knowledgeable in the testing she performed. Dr. Ekpo puts you at ease and explains what is happening. She then explains the results in layman terms, so you leave understanding what your exam revealed. Great place for eye care.

I took my 8 year old in for an eye exam. Upon walkin in, we were greeted and assisted immediately. The store was very clean and well organized! They were so kind, friendly, and patient. My daughter ended up needing glasses. They waited patiently while we tried on SEVERAL pair! They made the whole experience very easy and fun! My daughter went from being nervous about having glasses to being so excited, she couldnt wait to get them! It only took 2 days to get the glasses in as well! Very, very pleased! One of the best businesses to come to Danville. After being with another vision center for over 20 years, I tried All About Eyes and not only did I love it, I switched both my kids there. The staff is awesome. They work with you to find you the best deal for your budget. When they found out my employer didnt offer vision insurance, they mailed me a packet of discount card, which my coworkers loved! Would definitely recommend All About Eyes to anyone!!

Purchased glasses for myself and my daughter. Paid when they were ordered. Went to pick them up to find I had a remaining balance of almost $300. Was told that would be discounted. Went to try glasses on and glasses and lenses had been switched! Then waited another week and a half for them to fix their mistake. 4 weeks after my initial appointment I finally pick my glasses up and they still want me to pay! Was told I would be given in store credit but I will not be a returning customer so it is of no use to me!

I purchased a pair of glasses recently out of state from one of your competitors and went to the location in Danville to have them adjusted. Though it was my first visit, Alisha treated me as if I was a returning customer and she was more than happy to help me as much as possible to get them just right. During my visit, I decided to get another pair of glasses. Alex was extremely helpful, taking the time to show me options and provide insight on what would / wouldnt work for my face. In addition, she was willing to contact the out of state doctor to get a copy of my prescription to have a new pair made and expedite the order so I could have them by the end of the week. To say that Alisha and Alex earned my continued, repeat business is an understatement. Both of them demonstrated excellent and highly professional customer service today. I recently started a new job in Danville after having worked in Arthur for almost 2 years. The vision benefits were different so I needed to find a new provider. Our vision provider works closely with All About Eyes so I visited them to see what they offered, price points, etc. I found them to not only be very knowledgeable but extremely pleasant to deal with. I would certainly recommend their service to anyone.
