Employee shortage, too many customers. They missed my orders and need to remind then several times. Not mentioned the cleanliness of the tables.

This place needs a serious cleaning. The tables and counters are always filthy. When this Starbucks first opened, it was so clean and lively. Its now dirty and dreary. Things are messy and unorganized, the plants in the pots are half-dead, and the outside seating area is very unwelcoming. There are dead leaves and trash on the ground (and super gross tables that look like they havent been cleaned in months). The staff makes no effort to clean anything or make it anything look nice. Its really disappointing. I should have taken photos to post - I was just there and decided to leave because it was just kind of gross looking in there. I hope management reads this and decides to give the place a good deep-cleaning and train staff on how to maintain the place better.

The Starbuck Reserve is a cute little shop in a serene town with nice architectural domes and picturesque window frames. Friendly service and delicious drinks.

Stay away from this store. They will lie about your food and your drink. I have ordered mango dragonfruit refresher so many times. And when I ordered with this store today, they gave me the blank drink without any mango dragonfruit in it and said this is what I ordered. I refused to take it and said this drink wasn’t what I ordered. This kid doesn’t even know what he is talking about. No sorry and very rude. The worst Starbucks store I ever encountered. Never again.

My favorite starbucks around my area. If I want any special starbucks reserve menu, this is my go-to place. My favorites are iced dark chocolate mocha and affogato.

Best kept secret in Danville is this Starbucks Reserve. They serve the same coffee drinks like a regular Starbucks, but they also sell higher quality coffee drinks (better tasting roasted coffee beans) designed for a Starbucks Reserve.Will earn your Starbucks Rewards points and can redeem them here too.While the staff is friendly and helpful, service is not consistent every time I visit. Sometimes I get my coffee served to me as I sit at the bar counter watching the barista make it. Other times, my coffee just sits there waiting. No call out for the order or my name (this place does not ask for name - I pay via the Starbucks app).The baristas are not great with latte art (with premium coffee, come premium prices, I expect latte art). You have to ask for a mug or glass when you order. The baristas here don’t automatically ask for your preference (coffee tastes better in a mug or glass, not paper or plastic).I visit here once a week, enjoying the background music playing (not too loud) and WiFi while sipping my coffee (slowly ordering what is on the Reserve menu).There is outdoor sitting area in front of this location, facing Hartz, and freelancers and students inside doing their work and enjoying their beverages. Street parking or across the street is a parking lot.#kidfriendly - diaper changing table, but no high chairs. There is hot cocoa, lemonades, and teas to order.

First experience at a Starbucks Reserve - initially a bit overwhelming to decide on a fancy beverage but the staff were very helpful and friendly. Fantastic coffee.

Unique. But very hard to find parking. Prepare to walk long distance. And that last than 8oz cup in the picture is $7.50. And just coffee shot and ice cream. Great job starbucks. You have take coffee price to a new HIGH. LOL

Not been in this coffee shop in a long time. What a refreshing change in atmosphere.

I hadnt been to the Starbucks in downtown Danville in several years-- the original location, long before the one was opened kitty-corner to SRVHS and aeons before the newest Rose Garden location was opened-- and Im so glad I went on this late-in-the-pandemic, sunny June evening! Our barista was friendly and answered my questions knowledgeably, directing me to a delicious blended drink on the Reserve menu when I asked for a recommendation. Even though it would have been easy for this corner cafe to morph into a hoity-toity establishment when it took on the Reserve designation, its prime downtown location and fancied-up menu have not diminished this Starbucks locations appeal: rather the opposite! Outdoor seating made for a pleasant and safe way to enjoy our food and coffee while we watched passers-by, and the time was pleasant as the sun sank behind the hills and the light around us took on a gilded quality.

This is a Starbucks Reserve location with an engaged professional staff, good drinks, and interesting wood furniture. Plenty of parking on the surrounding block. Nice place to relax alone or with your crew.

Nice place to go for coffee and snack

If you are close to a Starbucks Reserve store, you absolutely have to try it (if you enjoy Starbucks). The atmosphere is amazing. The drinks are on another level. The Hazelnut Bianco latte is my new favorite, so delicious! I thought that the reusable cold cups were also such a nice touch. I wish there was one closer to me because this place is everything. Also, they sell Reserve exclusive merchandise and I absolutely love my new cup!

My favorite Starbucks in the area! I love the Reserve-only specialty drinks they have...dark chocolate mocha for cold weather or nitro cold brew float for warm weather.

Love the atmosphere, the coffee bar and the unique drinks

One of the things I miss most about Danville, is this bustling corner: Not only are there unique coffee blends here ( the Ginger Cold Brew, and Dark Chocolate Peppermint Mocha, are my favorites); but its the heart of downtown:Theres a spacious patio, and friends meet up and talk for hours. Dog leashes get tangled. Neighbors cross paths. And business, gets discussed. Its always lively. And the baristas are amazing. ♥️

One of the reserve experiences. More friendly than normal Cafe staff - they really enjoy connecting and sharing their coffee knowledge. Several uniquely designed coffee wares exclusive to reserve stores along with drinks specials, too.

Low stars is only for them being out of stock on 4 of the 5 things I asked for. No indoor seating but nice place to sit outside and chill while drinking your coffee or refresher.

Great Covid-19 protocal

We were attending the Danville Hot Summer Car Show. I’m not sure if that’s the correct name. We started attending many years ago when we lived in Alamo. We moved but still travel and attend. There’s hundreds of cars.We’ve enjoyed Starbucks since the chain first began. This location is “a cut above.” The staff bends over backwards to serve customers, a rare experience these days.

Good coffee of the day.

I’ve never had quite the experience and service that this Starbucks has provided. I’m not one for reviews, but I absolutely had to. This was the absolute best coffee experience hands down no exceptions. I’m a Pete’s coffee guy, but I’m now sold on Starbucks Reserve. The attentiveness and the friendly employees made it almost impossible to leave. I sat inside for about 2 1/2 hours taking to the employees and having great conversation about different brewing methods and flavors of coffee. The gave out samples to try the different methods of brewing. All around a 10/10 experience. I work in food service, but this is another level of passion that I absolutely adore. Every single store, shop, barber, etc. should show the same passion as these people do. I’m sold on Starbucks reserve. Don’t complain about great service, that just makes you look like an idiot.

One of the best starbucks I have been to. Not only was it spacious in doors and out, it was clean and modern. It attracts a trendy crowd as well. They are one of the few reserve Starbucks in the world. It gives a glimpse at how we wish most Starbucks ought to be.

I believe Starbucks has done a great job. The overall layout and decor is nice. Feels like as if I am entering a micro brewery. I have been a couple of times since it opened a few weeks ago. The first time I went was during the first week and the place was packed. After a couple of weeks, now the madness has died down, I got a place to sit down an enjoy one of the Reserve cappuccinos, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing! The new interior is stunning and the new drinks are fantastic! Of course they still have the originals, which are as fantastic as ever! Also the staff are super awesome and helpful! Cannot wait to see more Starbucks reserve stores like this!

Pretty objectively slow on a Saturday evening, but who am I kidding... I love Starbucks. Whoever is in charge of the soundtrack right now should have a parade in their honor. The Starbucks Girl Parade.It could be a guy but Id be surprised.

This Starbucks provides extraordinary coffee drinks experience. Its way beyond your typical coffee shop. If youre interested in the best tasting coffee from various sources you cant afford not visit this awesome Starbucks.

I loved the complexity of the Christmas blend (pour over in 16oz & espresso). The location was clean, spacious & felt a stepup from a typical Starbucks café. My girlfriend & I enjoyed the lounging experience.

Coffee bean extract was so good and the it was really nice ambiance and very relaxing having a sip.

Needed to stop and take quick break. Friendly service and clean. Easy on and off highway. Parking area is small but there are spots on the street.

This location is unusual, in that the patio is larger than the inside seating area. The patio is beautiful, great for socializing or reading a book, but not good for laptop screens. Its in a fairly busy, pedestrian-friendly area. Inside, there is a great mural on the upper part of the high back wall behind the counter (see photos). The inside seating consists of a few round bistro tables & chairs on one side, and a few more along a long, upholstered bench in the breezy area between the 2 entrances, with, but theres not a lot of inside seating overall. Its not a good location for laptop work.

This is a Starbucks Reserve bar. It is the only one in the east bay- there is one in SF but it does not feel as exclusive as this one. So others have noted, the experience is a lot different from a standard Starbucks. You can get the reserve coffees s well as different types of preparation (clover, pour over, French press, and a couple other cool preps).When this location was converted from a standard Starbucks (that featured Reserve coffee), they also expanded the footprint to be approximately 3x bigger. The bar is a huge slab of hardwood with a live edge. If you are staying, you will be served with Reserve unique ceramic ware and the seating is both beautiful and comfortable.All in all a great experience for whether to want to stay or just pick up a quick cup...

Recently remodeled place but kind of liked the old set up better. I feel the interior seating seems a little to close to other patrons.Outside seating area is great, but they cram all the tables together. You feel like your almost sitting with the other patrons and very difficult to have any privacy for a conversation.Service was prompt for ordering but preparation of order was extremely slow.Kind of felt there was no Management oversight going on.But its in a great location if you can find parking so it seems busy all the time even with my observed observations.

Nice and cozy place. Unfortunately very dirty. Management needs to do more. Too bad for it! I remember before the big renovation it was the same dirt everywhere.

Wow. This is my first American Starbucks in 4 years (I live in NZ). It looks great. The staff are rude, the drinks substandard, I cant believe it but NZ does Starbucks better than the US does. I wont be back.
