He helped me choose the car and was very patient and understanding when making my decision! If you’re looking for a car at least go talk to him he’ll help you out! I bought a Tiguan Volswagen car back in April 2021 and it was a ripped off. I drove it for 1 moth and I took it back for repairs. Second time tow to then, they couldn’t fix it and sent car to the Volswagen dealership. It was fixed but still have some issues.. I got my car back with the mirror passenger side broken, windshield crack and dent on the side of the passenger side. Now Kia Dealership doesn’t want to take responsibility and blame VD. I emailed them pictures for proof and now they said it’s for “review”. I paid over 2000 dollars to get my car fixed plus I still owe the 10000 plus interest. If you ever get a car from here please ask for the warranty, I did and they said it cover up to 85000 miles however they dont explain what exactly covers. I paid out of my pocket Your down payment it’s used for the “extra warranty “. The salesperson are very nice and they just want to sell that’s all. I just wanted to share my bad experience from this place and hopefully more people speak up.

I had been looking for a new vehicle for months and he was able to make my shopping experience pleasurable. His level of service over rode a moment that was not pleasurable from a customer standpoint. If I could give Lucas 10 stars on this review I would. If you are in the market for a vehicle. Started calling at 9:25am to see if it’s possible to get my vehicle in for a service. No one answers the phone on any of the lines. If you’re doing a morning huddle, you should open past the huddle. If you are not open, you need to adjust the hours on Google.Coming back to edit this post since someone who reads these was supposed to forward this issue over to the service department. Today.. 10/25/21 nothing has changed and it has gotten 100% worse.I took it to the dealership and Kelvin helped. Thank you. That man deserves a raise.

Service department was really great. My car was done so quick and my 3 year old son and I were watching the mechanics from outside the garage cause he was interested in seeing them work on the car and they were so nice to my son. They talked to him and let him go in and see their garage and the cars they were working on and made him feel really happy.

Terrible customer service in the service department. My husband bought a 2021 Kia Sportage, and we were given a survey to fill out, and we’re told if we filled it out to their liking, they’d give us a free oil change. What they failed to mention (at the time) was that they only send it to a select amount of individuals. Ok, whatever.My issue was, I made an appointment back in August prior to being misled, to confirm said oil change, and they had no record of my appointment. That was our first disappointment. Second, was the fact that I asked what the inspections included, as I was told by the woman at the desk “they check everything.” And I stressed, the breaks, because I noticed a squeaking noise when I go in reverse, and that they were getting soft, but knew they probably did need to get changed, but still didn’t think they needed to quite yet. Testing their honesty, Kevin told me when I first made the appointment, ~$360 because they sand/grind whatever to the rotors too, not just the break pads. Then this woman said to me, that she needed to comprise a quote first. Sooo, which is it? Breaks seem pretty standard. Anyway, that was annoying, as if the right hand doesn’t talk to the left. Needless to say that was two weeks ago, and still nothing back from them, I know breaks aren’t covered under the warranty, but still wanted to at least know what I was working with. Third, they’re all very rude. Left numerous messages for the service manager, he never returned my.The fluids were never filled, which, begs the question, that I hope my oil change was done accordingly, as I was there for less than 20 minutes for oil change and a tire rotation. Take note this has great reviews on one site, but terrible reviews on another, and that’s not because it’s a coincidence. This dealership leaves a lot to be desired, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend both the sales and service department at Danbury KIA. I’m on my 2nd KIA Sorrento with this dealership, and have experienced nothing but great service all around. I love the KIA brand as the cars are built and drive well, plus they offer the best warranties around. Should your car need servicing, the Danbury Service department is easy to work with, and do a fantastic and through job! Should any issues arise, Marc Cote the Service Manager, will ensure the quality of the work, and that you are satisfied. If anyone is considering getting a KIA, or is in need of a new mechanic/body shop, Danbury KIA should be at the top of your list!

Went to Danbury Kia with my nephew to lease 2021 Kia Forte, met with Sales Consultant Jeff Sousou, who after listening to my nephew’s position offered a few different options, made a few suggestions, did not pressure us but gave my nephew some very sound advise. It was obvious Jeff is very knowledgeable in the automobile business but even more is very conscious of what works best for their customers. After working with Sales Consultant Ed Nunez my nephew drove out of the dealership that afternoon with a Certified Preowned 2018 Forte, which turned out to be a better deal for him then leasing. And thanks to Finance Consultant Manny Gonzales, who actually worked to get my nephew a better loan rate then initially quoted.

Was talking with salesman Nick Houle about a used SUV. When I first contacted him, the vehicle was at another dealership for recall work. Nick stayed in contact with me over the next week to make sure I got a chance to see the vehicle before anyone else sold it since I had been waiting. We texted and met up for my appointment. He made sure the vehicle was detailed before I got there and pulled it up right as I pulled in, even though he had another sale in process at the same time. I ended up not buying the suv because I didnt like the condition, but thats always an issue when buying used. Nick was understanding and didnt try to push anything. He checked on a few other vehicles for me but nothing that worked. Even though I didnt end up buying anything I would definitely go back and buy from Nick. He was open and honest the whole time and didnt try to pressure me into anything.

I came in and met with Brian. Test drive was great, car was great, but when we went to talk about the price things only kept going downhill. I was told they wouldn’t sell the car to me unless I used their financing, I couldn’t use my own. I never would’ve come down to look at the car had I known this beforehand. No negotiation on price. Mandatory vin etching. Red flag after red flag. The more I took time to think about it, the pushier he got. Kept harping on how great of a deal it was and how many other people were interested and I was going to miss out. There was even a “call” from someone interested while I sat at his desk. Regardless of if this was a fake call they set up or a real call, my main takeaway was how rude it was to answer a phone call during a sales discussion. When we asked what some final numbers would actually look like he said if you’re not going to buy it today then there’s no point in getting you the numbers. Well that was that. A really disappointing experience. And then low and behold the next morning they drop the price. There’s a reason they can’t move the car, and it’s them. I do not recommend!!

As far as car dealerships go, this place isnt bad. They are honest. However, every time I go in, they try to charge me for an oil change when I got 5 free with my new car. Every time I have to argue with the front desk and wait until they can find it. Maybe thats just bad organization. Also, they dont automatically apply discounts/offers advertised on their site, you have to explicitly ask.

I have purchased/leased 4 cars from Danbury Kia. All were great with great service until recently. I hit a fox a few months back, brought the car to danbury Kia which they sent it back to a shop in new milford that is under the same group name “Danbury auto group”. The shop had “fixed” everything. I had the car for about 2 months until it got warm out. I went to try out the AC. Which didn’t work. I brought the car in to get it looked at, turns out THEIR repair shop forgot to recharge my Freon, which SHOULD have been part of the repairs. The Kia in Danbury charged me a $135 diagnostic for a mistake THEY missed. I continued to tell them it was their issue to refund me. Which turned into ping pong between Danbury Kia and THEIR shop in new milford. Everyone plays the blame game and no one is owning up to responsibility. I will not recommend Danbury Kia to anyone anymore. It’s the principle of it at this point. I have sent 3-4 people who have BOUGHT cars from them and now will stay quiet on them.Update: i received the refund from the diagnostic fee. Still disappointed with the way it was handled between the two shops. Hopefully will not happen again in the future.

I went into Kia, having no idea what I wanted except I knew I wanted an SUV. Brian took care of me and he was extremely patient with me showing all of my options. Actually drove him crazy from comparing different years with the sportage. I had a list of what was mandatory. I have to say, I admit I was difficult. He was pleasant and actually very knowledgeable about each car. He took me for test rides and wore his mask (which was important to me). After taking my time, I finally ended up with one of the sportages I was looking at and very happy with it!!! Automatic starter is everything in the winter! Thank you Brian.

Demand Salesman Jake.Over a year ago, I entered this dealership desperately in need of a car - and I was rewarded with the best example of elite sales care Ive ever seen. I would travel across states to return and buy a vehicle from this gentleman. This was my experience:Jake worked with my mother and I for almost eight hours to be able to purchase a vehicle of my own when I was convinced it was impossible. I had limited funds and poor credit; and the concept of finding affordable assurance had become a fairy tale. He navigated every single aspect of the entire process with unparalleled determination and care - going above and beyond what Ive seen from ANYONE else; in ANY sales position; in ANY industry. He left no option un-considered and represented me flawlessly with every party involved in the sale.Jake single-handedly granted me my independence back. This vehicle has allowed me to expand my careers, be self-sufficient, travel with my family, visit loved ones, and more. This little Nissan Altima from Jake was how I drove an hour away to my first date with the woman Im going to marry.Additionally, the vehicle has had no problems and performs as expected - though that almost seems to be the LEAST impressive aspect of my experience.Long story short, this establishment clearly prides itself on settling for ABSOLUTELY nothing when it comes to their staff and team. I got a letter in the mail for a recall on my 2020 stinger, I was already planning on doing my oil change before hand. I called to make sure they had the part instock and also asked how much it would cost me if they were to do the oil change for me, I was told $40. Confused I stated again, so $40 for my stinger???(which i provided the vin and they could see the model) thats it? i was explained yes plus tax, we confirmed the appointment, and I asked once again so when I show up, they will do the recall and the oil change and all I pay is $40 still not believing it but maybe its some sort of special, maybe its because I did not buy my car from them that they wanted to earn my business. I was told yes.WRONGlet me backtrack, about a year ago i wanted to buy a Kia stinger, due to covid alot of places did not have them and shipment were halted. Danbury Kia had one, literally the top of the line GT2 model, I called and i asked if they were getting any GT-Lines/GTs or if i can be put on a list) I do not need to spend the extra 10k+ on the GT2. I got the typical, aww but come look at this one, do not worry about the other, (still have not answered my questions)asked again he ignored and said when do I want to come see the GT2 at this point at this point i gave up, a few weeks later i found one 2 Hours away, called Danbury just to check maybe what if they have one. they still had the GT2 that they were pushing hard to move. so I drove to Columbia CT to that Kia dealership. which answered all my questions over the phone, still being covid they had nothing but time to answer a few questions (the entire phone call was 13 mins 12 seconds) needless to say, i bought my car from Columbia CT Which had a few oil changes for free,Seeing how Danbury is located in the same town i live in, it was easier for me to drop my car off pick it up and be done with paying the $40, well the end price was like $103, not $40 which I was quoted. when i asked the guy about it he asked did i call and ask? when i said yes you can see in the way he closed his eyes briefly this might be common, he apologized and said explained for your 2020 stinger an oil change is not $40. i figured. the work was done I was not going to make this guy day worst by being the angry customer, I paid and I left.with my car being less than a year old, i gave Danbury Kia 2 chances to sell me a car or put me on a call list. and even a chance to service me with a recall and even then they misquoted and left out information. 3 chances in total to earn my business and they failed every time.The final invoice looks like thisoil change full synthetic oil $406 t0030-ltr18a(the actual oil) 8 each = $48filter $6.6gasket $3.06If you pay with card an extra 10%(in todays world charging 10% for something 8/10 people will use(80% statistic people use card over cash)If I was told the final cost of the oil change would be $103.86 i may have paid it for the convenience + gas for me not driving almost 2Hours away to Columbia Kia to take them up on the 2 FREE oil changes.I work in sales also, biggest part of it is the service I provide with that being said if my customers had issues like these with me, I wouldnt be given a second chance.I earn loyal customer even if they can get a better price somewhere else, for my service I provide, being truthful, and honest. It doesnt just win me the customer, it Earns me their family and friends to become my customers as well.none of which was offer/felt hereI really wanted to leave a 1 star, however with 3 strikes that would only bring this down to a 2 star, at this point, im not sure if i even want to give them the a opportunity to earn a 1star, or even a chance to make it back to 3.Currently have no plans to revisit this location.The whole experience over a year was so bad it literally makes me want to apply there because of how challenging it would be to show them it is possible to be extremely profitable, being honest, and set the right expectations at the same time, while earning business from family/friends

This is my second Kia Sorento I have owned.This dealership is one of the worst. They DO NOT have loaner cars for owners who’s car will be with them for longer then a few days.Had major work done twice.First time I got maybe 2 miles and had to go back because car had not power, upon getting car back I had stopped into my local repair shop only to have them tell me there were 4 bolts that were missing!!!Now onto 2nd major repairAfter work was done and I needed a rental for a week. I had the car for approximately a month with only 500 miles (if that) put on. Back to the dealership for the same (original) problem.They have had the car for a week already, BUT haven’t been able to diagnose it because there computers are being help up by cyber piracy.NO LOANER OR RENTAL!!!!!!!!Shame in them!!!!!!!I will NEVER do business OR recommend them to ANYONE!!!!!Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 1/2 or so to the next Kia dealer.

This is the worst place to purchase a vehicle. I love kias but the dealership is run by people who have no business being in the car sales business. The service is horrendous. I was threatened by an employee who had to be held back by the manager or I would have been assaulted. Additionally, they sold me a damaged car as new. Who does that? This place does.Fire everyone and start over. Practice better business ethics. Hire someone to train you. Awful place. Will continue to recommend people not shop here, ever. You guys suck.

Spent absolutely beautiful and comical hour with Bryan last week. First of all, he has no idea how to wear the mask properly which is absolutely fascinating considering he is working in sales. Secondly, his attitude. Rude, pushy, absolutely not answering the questions and answering some other questions instead. We were ready to buy the car when the actual circus started. I am absolutely happy with my insurance provider and I clearly told Bryan that not-so-hard-to-understand information several times. He stated that he is REQUIRED to submit a quote with our data to get us the best rate and that number of quotes going from their office is important (which I absolutely do not care about) and that every client is going through it (which I again do not care about) and started the call with I do not who. I tried to say once again that I am absolutely not ok with any inquiries on my behalf and I never gave him or anyone else in that room consent to disclose my private data to the third parties. Well, I was rudely interrupted again and — yes — he continued the call despite my protest and he started sharing my data with someone on the other end. Only after I almost screamed that I am not ok with that he hung up and told me that in this case he can’t sell me the car (as we all know calling random insurance aggregator is very important step in purchasing the car). I said goodbye and walked away.I have not even started to talk about the VIN etching which was ALREADY there on the windows and he tried to sell me this as an option and refused to sell the car if I decline that option.Stay away from that place, people. There are a lot of other KIA dealerships where salesmen care about their clients.

Extremely disappointing experience with Danbury Kia. Brought my car in back in July for a simple oil change where they then found out there was a mouse in my car causing extensive damage. I decided to leave my car with Kia to get it fixed since I assumed they would have the correct parts and take care of it in a timely manner. My car ended up being in their shop for 2 MONTHS. Was given no updates on my car and I had to repeatedly call them to get an update. Once my car was finally returned to me there were scratches in interior and exterior of my car and markings on the seat and just appeared to have a years or so worth of wear and tear on my car when I had only got it brand new in February and not to mention my car now doesn’t make turn signal sounds or lane shift warning sounds. I made comments and questioned these markings but the gentleman, Tom, whom I was working with didn’t want to deal with it and couldn’t get me out of there faster. Also during this time I had used rental cars on and off over the 2 months my car was in the shop and towards the end I had used up the remainder of my rental car allowance with my insurance company, Geico. Kia had agreed to pay for my rental car a difference of 10 days since I had reached the rental car allowance and they had taken so long getting my car repaired and had gotten delayed getting the parts. Currently I am dealing with Enterprise saying Kia will now not cover the almost $400 of rental car charges because “we didn’t agree to pay that.” I had called Kia myself and they would see what they could do but now Enterprise is trying to make me pay since Kia refuses. EXTREMELY disappointing considering how long it took for them to fix my car and the condition it was returned to me in. Terrible customer service by Danbury Kia and disappointed in Kia overall - I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and will be passing along my sentiments to Kia Headquarters.

The worst and so unprofesional me and my wife wanted to buy a used Honda CR-V that they have in stock,we went to see the car on 06/13/20 our sales man was Bryan,the price of the car was $12.876 after I tested the car and decided to do all the paperwork,we wanted to put 5K down,they run our credit (our credit is excellent)Bryan told us that our monthly rate would be $307 for 60 months,we were shocked 307x60=18.420+5000(down)=$23420,a used car priced at 12.876 they wanted to sell us for 23.420 after i told Bryan that it doesn’t make any sense he went back to the guy who run our credit and came back with $197 a month for 60 months,we couldn’t believe what they did,we decided not to buy the car that day and we left very disappointed.On 06/17/20 i saw that they dropped the price to $10.872 and I called Bryan and I told him that I see that the price dropped and I want to come and buy the car,he said yes if the price dropped on website we can buy it for that price.I told my wife that i am going to buy the car for her and she was very happy,after I went to the dealership i talked with Bryan and he checked the price in the website was $10.872 he went to the guy who runs the credit and he came back and told us that they can’t sell the car for that price and all this was a mistake from them.i am going to see them in the court!

Absolutely worst customer service there is, after you purchase a vehicle from them. (Before the virus). You can never get in contact with anyone you need to speak to and all the managers care about is getting their money. If you have a problem its all on you. Theyll most likely respond to this comment trying to look good to get in contact with you but then theyll never follow through. Repairs are said to be a discounted price, but then you go somewhere else and turns out their discounted price wasnt even close to discounted. My family and I have been to many different dealerships and have been in the car industry for decades, and this place is by far, the farthest you can get from exceptional customer service. Yes some of the employees are amazing and spectacular, but being at this dealer for years I have seen first hand, with others, how they operate.

I wish I could give no stars, this service department is the absolute worst. Their receptionist don’t know what they’re doing. Their appts book out weeks, for an oil change, or even better yet, mount and balance TWO tires, they had an appt available... 3 WEEKS OUT. Like really? Oh and they close at 5:30, but their last appt is 3:30. No matter the service. The Manager is NEVER available. They lost Al which really sucks because he’s the only one who knows what he was doing. Stay away from this place. Trust me, I’m counting the days until this lease is over so I don’t have to deal with them ever again.

This has been the worst car buying experience ever! We went here because the salesman was supposed to be a “friend” but this friend screwed us over just to make a easy commission. We waited over 3 hours with my 4 kids while he tried to help 2 other customers, left to get a car detailed or something. So we leave with the car & a month goes by nothing from the bank. In this time I called the bank & the dealership multiple times for nobody to call me back & the bank not having any info under my name. Fast forward 2.5 months & at least 6 more inquires pop up on my credit monitoring. Then I finally get a call back saying they need more money. ($250) so not a huge deal but why the need to run my credit all over again only to have the same financing company take the loan. So here we are again, the bank knows nothing about my account and tells me call the dealer. I am not calling anyone. They can take this truck & stick it. I would never do business with these people & will look elsewhere next time I buy a vehicle. Unprofessional and lacking of experience!

I’m kind thrown off by this place. The sales person was nice and fun, but the first thing he did was run a credit check. We asked him not to run a credit check because we were just there to look at a specific car but we weren’t sure if we wanted to buy anything. Now my boyfriends and my credit scores went down because he ran the credit check. Needless to say after that I had a distaste for that place. We will now be going to Hyundai to see what they have. Not to mention that I made an appointment over the weekend to see a car that was apparently already sold. If I had known that when I sat down I would’ve left before even filling out a credit check. I would give it a 1-star rating, but the salesperson was very friendly and did try to help us find a car.Update, and response back to Kia.I looked at a car yesterday at Hyundai after I left Kia upset. The guy at Hyundai stayed late, helped me find some cars, without credit check, and with the information I provided we found the perfect car. Now we are doing the credit check and finance things so that if I didn’t find a car that I like or want it won’t bring down my credit. Hyundai did it right.

I went inside and half the workers didn’t have masks on, which I guess is fine as long as they keep theyre distance. They didn’t keep their distance. The person helping us was awful. Very rude and dry. I think his name is Kevin or something. He acted like he didn’t want to be there. It was all good until I said I’d take it. After asking if we could get a little better price on the used car I was given back a price thousands higher than the sticker price. Wasted hours thinking I had found a car only to have them add a list of fees to it that killed the deal.

Jake is an awesome salesman a real go getter . The sales manager said I was wasting his time on this saturday morning even though he probably had a deal. I took my own time off from work to help my parents look at cars. I was told by my parents they did not want to buy or lease a car until they saw some options. If you cant do your job polite and respectfully maybe you should work in a different career or retire.

Fermin Archer ate his lunch in front of us after we had sat there without him for 2hrs. He looked absolutely miserable and stomped away if we asked for further review of the pricing of a car. He became more and more rude and hostile the longer we were there. He was not clear about the process and then talked down to us when we said we were finished with talking to the finance guy and it turned out we weren’t. He was miserable and bothered by our questions the entire time. He gave me his cell phone number to follow up on something and went off after I mentioned the car was missing something that should’ve been included saying “You guys asked for money off of the car I explained multiple times this wasn’t a car we could discount. But you ladies insisted on money off of the vehicle”. What type of professional customer service is that? This experience has been horrible and I will not be returning or recommending Danbury Kia to those I know.
