Bring your own sanitizer/sanitizing wipes. This is the second time Ive been here where theres been nothing to wipe carts or hands. Sanitizing station just sits there empty.

Empty shelves, products in disarray, apathetic employees. No care given or offered by the employees who are visibly unhappy and unmotivated.

I go here every week for my usual grocery items in the dairy isle.Greek yogurt plain & 4%l low fat small curd cottage cheese eggs, 100 % whole wheat breadThe items on the packaging are called First Street brand which cost less and taste just as good as the well known brand. This is why i come to.mission st daly city store i see them regularly and are so friendly and helpful and all work well together, Jennifer,Jason, and.all the rest of evening crew are so efficient .I cant remember all the names,

I went there early in the morning (6:15 AM) to buy things for a 4th of July bbq. Asked a young lady a quick question, and her response was - Can’t you see I’m busy? and ignored me and kept taking chickens from the freezer and stacking it onto the cart.I purposely went there early to avoid the craziness of the store and figured the workers would not be as swamped by customers, but I guess this gal was swamped by frozen chickens that needed to go to the back. Truly disappointed by this store and its workers. I went to the Luckys next door and bought my things there. Paid a little more, but way better customer service. (Worker stopped what he was doing to assist me.) Never again will I shop at a Smart and Final. Just not worth my time and money.

Friendly checkers and good variety of groceries etc. Its a convenient location for bulk shopping when I dont have time to get to Costco

My experience there was awful. I made a mistake but the way the manager handled it was very rude. Manager Enrique was called to come and assist since the cashier refused to help me. He started telling me to put the food i had already packed myself back onto the other cashier in a rude way without even insisting on helping. I have an injured foot so it was hard for me to do so and it wouldve taken me some time. When working at jobs like these, you go to an interview in where they ask you how to handle situations like these whether the customer is in the wrong or not. These two managers showed the opposite of what they shouldve done. If youre working for a company, you have to be polite to everyone or else youre creating a bad image on it. I dont recommend coming here unless you want to be given attitude by young managers. Nowadays managers are no good and do the exact opposite. And im speaking in general for many managers in which im not even going to go there. I just wanted to share my experience i had there. You have a wonderful day..

If you want to shop with less people at the same time, this is a good place to go. In the city, stop by my ultimate shop.

This is an awesome place to shop your groceries. It can get really busy all day and as a result parking is hard to get and you have to wait in checkout lines. Normally there are more than 5 checkout lanes and they are fast. Worth it.

Not crowded at all,of course it was Vday. Strawberries were $1.99 for a big container full looked great all produce was plentiful. I was looking for canning jars but they didnt have any. Oh well....

Typically I love this store. Much bigger and easier to navigate.Today, however, there is no chicken (sale) on the shelf. Many customers asked the meat person, who was stocking other items, if there were any. We were told it was in the back. He continued to stock for another 15 minutes or more before telling me, sorry but we dont actually have any!any!He saw us waiting, he could easily have checked much soonerA

Good place to get stuff in bulk for a great price and you dont need a membership. Did groceries today at 2 different places and I got more stuff here for about 2/3rds of the price than the other grocery store.

Today I was looking for coffee filters didnt know exactly what kind I bought some coffee and they grounded the wrong way now the coffee is stopping up the filter I have trying to figure it out

They have the best meat market in town and their prices are the best in town.

Today, I wanted to buy their water but when I saw it exposed to the sun. I ran away. To me, that is a health concern and it can alter the taste and color of the water. Further more, staff need to respond quicker to emergencies. Step up more often and not be shy to use their voice. Last week, when I was there somebody dropped a gallon of milk. One at a time people started asking for help and no cashier responded. Until, I finally yelled and demanded to be acknowledged. I asked him to call it in and told him how to do it. Luckily, my main concern was the safety of everyone else and not my shoes drenched in Vitamin D milk.

Smart & Final is the Excellent Alternative to Sams Club or Costco or other membership wherehouses, however Smart & Final requires no membership and their prices keep you coming back for more and more!

I love this place! Yes it gets busy and yes you may have to wait in line but the deals are worth it. Great prices and for the most part helpful employees.

It was great I asked one guy that was there if they had cherries he looked unsure but than Daisy said yes we do and she took me to the section where they were. And she nicely apologize about her coworker also said they were in training week but and I think that she did pretty great and she was smiling and said hope you find everything okay more than happy best customer crevice.

Excellent prices without the big box store lines. The inside Im the store is neat and well organized. The parking lot is a bit untidy though.

I like S&F. They have decent produce and much better prices than the grocery store. Their sales are good too, and they generally have whats advertised. Now for the bad... Is it really necessary to stock when people are trying to shop? This is a pet peeve of mine. Everyone does this and its fricken irritating. And the boxes in the aisles... whats up with that? How are you supposed to reach whats behind the box? Last one: they need more handicapped parking. They only have two...

Theres never enough people working here, and when you ask for help they usually make up some excuse/lie (very blatant) to get out of putting in any effort to help people. But they have a lot of products thats hard to find other places. So goods with bads, Ya know?

They have good prices, but they are extremely slow at checkout. They only have 4 registers and the cashiers are very slow. It seems like everybody there are buying at least 50 different things. I waited in line for at least 20 minutes. Also, nobody follows the 10 item or less rule in the express line. Honestly, I wouldnt go back unless they have something I need at a really good price to make up for the time wasted standing in line.

The store was fully stock to the max..It has a great selection and price are super max savings for every age ....and generation ...I wish I could live closer to shop everyday.

Generally speaking Smart & Final is well-equipped with a variety of items at reasonable cost. Sometimes the fruit might take it little while to ripen but you have to be ready to eat it within a short period of time.

My best shopping is done here, I save well on coffee, cereal, dairy, & produce. Theres plenty of disabled parking, and the shopping cart arent clogged. This is important to me.

They have really nice people here Ive gotten to know Im in the last year that Ive been shopping here they have a little bit of a turnover so its always somebody different. But in the last 4 months there bathrooms have gotten really bad theres always no toilet paper in them they have paper all over the floor and they smell severely bad and I dont like it not even a Tittlely bit.

I actually called ahead for something and the associate directed me to exactly what I needed! We need more of that! That was awesome!

Nice variety of frozen food, produce and dairy products. Its a mini Costco with family size portions.

Female clerk was rude when asked to call for a cart run. The asian young lady told me No! I couldnt believe what i heard and asked her did i hear your answer as no? She fumbled her words and said no i didnt i said Ill ask and never made the pa request for a cart run. So sad. I usually have a pleasant shopping experience. 😒

Smart and final on bayshore didnt have anything I needed and their parking lot is filthy

They have the big bags of Fritos scoops! Costco no longer sells them. They also have mini M&M baking chips

They DO have dry ice, and the bathroom has a better faucet and paper towel dispenser than the last Smart & Final bathrooms that I used & reviewed recently. Bathroom was in poor shape, though -- needed cleaning.

I shop alot at Smart and Final because the prices are better. There are times when some of the vegetables are limp, but overall great prices especially for cereal,bread, meats.

There were between 40 - 50 customers waiting in line to be rung up and there are only two cashiers on and one of them was the assistant manager. I asked why only to Cashiers and she says because thats the way it was scheduled. The lines went all the way to the back and the third line was started even though theyre only two cashiers on. It was horrendous it never used to be run this way but apparently there must be new management and this was a horrible horrible thing.I have been a customer for 29 years. This was around 2:30 Sunday Dec 10 on Mission St in Daly City.

Prices are different for different areas so beware if you see newspaper ads even online from AZ to northern California. Other than that, this is a decent location with lots to buy.

Ive only been to a few Smart and Final and this is the only spot where the employees here are extremely helpful on more than a few occasions.

This store is pretty good to me, especially the cashier that checked out for me was very nice.

This store is the worst store that Ive ever shop. Disaster starting from parking lot - broken carts with not moving wheels, employees are suck, especially cashiers. Most dont even look at you while servicing, just playing with phones and makes many mistakes in your check. I would advice people to check after them, I have that bad experience a several time by now. Not sure what the problem is, most likely management.

This store has it all I dont have to go anywhere to buy my monthly needs. This place is bigger and spacious, no banging of carts, cashiers were attentive, prices are reasonable.

They are one of the only places in sf that sell dry ice and they have been out of stock for weeks. I have ask ed d several times only to be told they would restock the next day. I really dont want to drive to oakland. Please restock your dey ice?!
