Manager J.D was over the top providing excellent customer service. I had been to another store which was out of the product I was looking for and said this store had it...they did not have it but ..J.D. took his time out and called the Mesquite store and verified the item was in stock. It was and he asked the person to put my name on it because I was coming after it. They did and I got the item I was searching for! Thank you for actually caring about your customers J.D!

People were friendly and helpful. Did not have what I wanted but then neither did any others within 30 miles. Willing to go there again.

I live about 4 miles from Harbor Freight in Duncanville. I drive all the way up to this store because it is so much better stocked, the people are so much friendlier, and they actually will help you find what youre looking for. Thank goodness for this location!

Employees are fine, but the store manager is lazy and incompetent. Preordered a tool box but I found out on my own afterward and without the managers help that a different harbor freight on belt line road had the toolbox on hand. Went back to cancel the order so that I could go to the beltline store to buy it there instead. But the store manager told me that he couldnt do the refund even though customer service department and the the belt line road store manager told me at 3 different times that this store needed to do the refund. Im not sure what the first guys problem was but I dont recommend this location. Thankfully The manager and store at the beltline location is far more competent and refunded the order despite the fact that its was this store managers job to do that. then let my buy the tool box from them that they had on hand. The belt line location is far more deserving of business than this store.

Very friendly staff and incredible array of tools. From generators and power tools to gloves and machetes, the prices are often lower than you would expect. We went there for moving blankets and find what we were looking for. On the way out we noticed the camping chairs and flashlights. If youre doing and major project, moving, out going camping, come here and see what they have to give you an idea of proper budgeting with the proper gear.

Customer service was great but many time they havent had the tool I need

I went in to get a dremel and the guy was very helpful and showed me exactly where I could find it which was helpful because everything in the store looked the same to me lol

Disappointing you cant use there store discounts until a week after you download them from your email and its not enough to show them to sales girl from your screen like other places. However was well kept, clean and offered slot of tools and equipment. I came in looking for a Dremel and diamond bits with enough power to drill holes in glass. No sales associate on the floor to ask questions. But I couldnt find it. Sad

As always, if your looking to try out a tool. this is definitely the place to start. I usually buy here first, then I will look for a professional tool. if I think I will use it more. the location was ok, a little sketchy. but the store is very clean and organized.

Not for professionals, but they are very cheap for people who just need tools to work with. Cheap price cheap tools. But i do buy there sometimes. Depends on products.

Like others have said, it’s a relatively newly rebuilt store and it’s spacious and clean. Layout is logical, although you may find items you are seeking placed out of that category’s space, such as on an end-cap or on a pallet near the front. There’s so much merchandise and signage, you can fail to see those items placed to attract your attention.I went seeking a recharger for my battery-powered drill. They had them for many brands - just not mine.Agree that it pays to do your homework to help you buy the better quality items over the cheapest.I got packs of 24 AAA and AA batteries for $1.99 - a major discount from their regular price and the prices you’ll see elsewhere. Now we’ll see if they measure up in terms of longevity.

I needed a drill to mount my 55 tv. First, I searched online to find a store with mounts. I saw a coupon, which was a good deal may I add, from Harbor Freight Tools. I quickly GPSd it and went there. I liked the fact that the actual product that was advertised was in store. The store was organized and clean. Yes, you need face covering and the staff is very helpful. The cashier even told me to stay safe. I will recommend this HFT location to anyone. And look at my pic, I mounted my TV!!!

Great store, good staff. Just dont by the least expensive version of their gear. They tend to have good/better/best in each class. As long as you avoid the low end youre liable to be getting a quality item for a great price.

I always check Harbor Freight when I need a tool before I go to the big box stores. They usually have what I am looking for for less. Sometimes the quality may be questionable,but that is happening less often lately. Remember to pick up a sales flyer, alot of times there are freebies with a purchase if you ask and show the coupon.

Long lines at checkout and trying to find anyone to answer a question is difficult. You have to hunt down what you are looking for yourself.

Harbor freight has not been the since the beginning of the pandemic. No circular, ad or coupons. I am highly unsatisfied, no leeway either.

Great day of shopping for new home tools for many projects. The employees were helpful and nothing was out of stock. Using the ad you can find great addition items for almost nothing.

I go to this store all of the time. Good customer service & free gifts with a purchase. If you buy hand tools make sure to get the heavy duty ones.

If you need a tool, they will more than likely have it. The prices are equally competitive. You ask a rep where something is, they will tell you where it is but dont expect a escort - fine with me and thanks.

This was my first time ever to visit Harbor Freight Tools. The store is clean and well organized. I had a coupon good for 20% off any one item. The date on the coupon was good to the end of the month. They refused to accept their coupon.

Usually one of my favorite stores but this morning manager followed me around like I was a thief. Was not appreciated.

I called and asked for a trailer tire 4/80/12. I was told it was in stock . When I arrived I was told it was not in stock . I drove 20 minutes off my route for a disappointing visit.

They are always friendly, helpful & I always shop around but found the best price here for good if not great quality!

Called ahead about tool wanted to purchase the said yes we have one in stock. Got to store and went to location but there were none there. Pretty upset so I went to register and asked if they had any more in stock.. the guy said yours is right over there ! Great they pulled the last one out & held it for me !!! Thanks so much.

I love this place. Great prices and a huge selection of tools. If you can avoid the cheaper ones, then do so. As I use my tools everyday I can tell the difference between the way a quality built tool feels over the cheaper ones. So I recommend spending a few dollars more to get the better built tool.

Clean well laid out for most items,my only negative is had problems locating the batteries for the hurricane brand tools.

Im a big fan of this place. Not all of it is Craftsman quality but its affordable and theyre really great people. The staff is always super helpful and the prices arent crazy. They have a large variety and a good selection. I know that sounds like the same thing but its not. Because the variety they have is typically pretty good quality.

Visit was okay. One guy was willing to help guide the other guy for what I needed but the guy who ended helping me wasnt super customer friendly. They have a lot of items at a good price but sometimes not the top of the line product. They always have sales and you could actually get some pretty good deals for a good price. They hardly ever have house full of customers when Ive been. I only go we I need something fast or if Ive seen a sale paper with a product Ive been looking for.

This place will save you a ton of money; Just do your research. Everything sold here is a cheap alternative to an already successful product, good business model, but there are things that you shouldnt buy, and then there are things that you must buy. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
