We were looking at the windows that we are having installed soon. They come highly rated. We liked the way they looked. Their website provides a large amount of information about their products. Their website was very easy to navigate. If you are in the market for new windows i would consider these as a possibility.

I arrived at this location to deliver a load at 8:31 I checked in with a lady that then called in the intercom for someone to receive me nobody ever came to me I had to actually walk myself to one of the dock door and let the unloader know that I was here then I was finally released empty at 12:33 thats way too much one guy on a forklift only unloading trucks I dont understand

Worst Client Care Imaginable! I have an account with them & asked Brenda to help me for a month in placing an order. Sent email after email to get assistance. I stated 2x I needed my order to pass inspection in Fort Worth. I ordered aluminum black windows from her and she knew they would not pass and took my money anyway. My client is very upset, And they (Chris Ellison) currently have offered us VINYL windows at 1/2 price, saying they will split the cost with me! NO, I will have cost in removing the new windows I just paid for that wont pass and the inspector said he hasnt seen in over 2 years. Just to put new passing windows. Ive asked for a manger or owner multiple times.We want this handled today, its been 2 weeks. Brenda didnt bother to get some one with more experience she just made the sale.Beware of this company they do not care what happens, just sell you products they know will not be ok for your project.

The Don Young Company is a distributor of high quality glass & windows in the North Texas area. They took the time to explain to me options on contractors & products they have available. They only sell to contractors or wholesalers but they were very kind and took the time to answer questions.

I have used DYC New replacement windows on 2 homes I have owned and on 3 office buildings I manage. I have been super pleased with the quality and how efficient they have been. I have noticed a great savings on my energy bills. All 5 jobs were done by First Exterior Designs and they were first class to work with and left our places cleaner than they were when they got there!! I highly recommend both companies!

We considered many brands of replacement windows for our home in the Houston area. Many of the vinyl window options available in todays market were not a good option since they usually have some sort of molding profile already built into the replacement and that would not look good with the existing brick mold. We decided on Don Youngs aluminum windows as they were close to the fit and appearance of what was originally installed on the house.Let me say that I spent a lot of time reading product reviews and talking to several window companies and contractors before making this decision. In the process of educating myself about the window options and features, I sometimes reached out to the manufacturers websites and contacted them directly by phone with questions about specifications and how their windows might work with my particular situation, such as whether they were going to be able to open/tilt with my interior plantation shutter frames, work with my alarm sensors, etc. As a hands on homeowner, I found this much more efficient than going through my window installation company, and it also gave me a feel for how responsive the company is to the consumer. Don Youngs customer service was spectacular. I was able to talk directly on several occasions with Scott Young, the founders son, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the product and patient with all my questions and concerns. This contact went a long way in helping me decide to go with Don Young, a company I had never heard of until a couple of the window companies recommended them for my home.I am very pleased with the aluminum windows. We had 58 windows of various sizes to replace, so this was a big job! For the most part, they all arrived in great shape with minimal damage or defects. The few minor defects that needed attention were addressed and taken care of promptly by the company. I had seen the window samples in the local showroom, and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the actual product even more once they were installed. The latches and sashes work much more easily once installed than they did on the display, and the quality was obvious. The frames are sturdy and the parts work smoothly. They are very attractive windows and appear to be very well-made.The problem with our old aluminum windows is that they transferred a lot of heat into the home. Most of our windows face due west, and in Houston summers, that is a real problem. The Don Young windows have a thermal break in the aluminum frame to help minimize the heat transfer. I have to be honest and say that the frames still get quite warm to the touch in the summer afternoons, but they arent sizzling like our old frames. The big difference is in the glass. We got the low e366 glass, double-paned with argon, and I am impressed. I can touch the inside glass on a summer afternoon and it is room temperature. Since the majority of the window is glass, the heat transfer is much less, even if the frames are warm. The difference in the comfort level in our home is huge!As I mentioned, the few minor issues we had with the windows were addressed to my satisfaction. The local Don Young representative came out to do the repairs and adjustments, and the service from that department was terrific as well.I am a happy customer and would not hesitate to recommend this fine product and remarkable company.

I had Don Young Windows installed in 1993 and finally had a window get foggy. I called the Don Young Window Company today and they took my information and had the Glass Repair Company call me within 5 minutes of hanging up with them. All of my other 25 plus windows still look great after 25 years. I would recommend this Company to anyone looking for Top Quality Windows or Window Replacements. Great Customer Service and i would give them SIX STARS if that was an option!

My wife and I spend a lot of his time in the showroom asking a ton of questions. He not only answered all of them, but took the time to go into further detail of what we should think about when getting new windows. He asked about our concerns and wants for our replacement windows and steered us in the right direction. He was very knowledgable about the industry and the Don Young window offerings. WATER LEAKING INSIDEWe had a custom made aluminum Don Young patio door installed at our home that is leading water on the INSIDE track which is on the INSIDE of our home. Patrick Frost’s (manager) response to our complaint is that it is normal and refuses to correct the situation. This is unacceptable to us and I assume it would be unacceptable to any potential customers considering doing business with Don Young.Our installer, who paid Don Young directly is Steve Wurst.

We bought our replacement windows in January 2010 through a company who gets their windows from Don Young Windows. I had some questions related to them recently and the company I bought them from was no longer was in business. Thankfully when I called Don Young Windows and spoke to the owner he assured me he would take care of any issues related to the operating of the windows even though the other company was no longer in business. I was relieved and he came out himself and addressed my questions and changed out some parts that easily fixed my issues AT NO CHARGE!This company, though a smaller company than the large ones out there that manufacture and sell windows, do not cut corners in their manufacturing. Other companies can cut those corners to benefit themselves, not taking into consideration the customer who has to live with the effect of an inferior window after a few years. They use the best materials and are conscientious in making their windows long lasting for their customers. They are proactive in making any improvements to their windows as they check on sites where the windows have been in for years like ours. These improvements can be as tiny as a screw! I know this to be the case, as the owner took some of my old screws with him to show his worker so they could improve the durability of it and cause less corrosion.When I talked to him he had told me that they really dont need a service department as they dont typically have issues with their windows, since they do make the necessary and updated improvements as they see any need to better their product. I also know that to be a fact, as the owner himself made the service call! He and another employee are the ones who visit the sites themselves if there is a need.As a customer I am so pleased when I find a company that is based on integrity and giving the customer the best product they know how to produce!If you are in need of replacement windows any time in the future I can save you all the hours of research it took me to find one. I had several companies come out and I hit the jackpot with Don Young Windows!! Look no further!
