Great little coffee shop. And they even made a “Baby Chino” for my grand! Great attitude. Barista knows how to make the magnificent machine do it’s thing. The atmosphere was amiable and welcoming. Folks chatting and building relationships. A great find. And they offer visiting coffee roasters each month. Hey Coffee Roasters of Texas- get on the list!
Solid coffee shop. Batistas were very nice and helpful. I appreciate that their latte was not too sweet like most coffee places. Id definitely recommend trying them out.
Went in for the first time today. Loved it immediately after just walking in. Great vibes. I tried the Lavender Latte. I will be back, and im telling all my friends about this place!
My family tried Wayward Coffee when we were visiting Dallas. We LOVED it! If we lived close, we would spend way too much money there! It’s exactly what you want when looking for a unique and special place for coffee.
Love this place! Its one of my favorite places to write because they have tall tables that you can kind of treat like a standing desk which feels great on my back. And all of their coffee is good! Great vibe too. Its 10 for 10 in my book
Outstanding neighborhood coffee shop with Portland vibes. Dependable. Consistent. Super nice team. Loveeeeee y’all!! A great spot to kick it and they know their stuff + partner with local businesses to spread the love around the cliff.
I had the chai and it was really good! Most places I have been to just have powdered chai, but theirs is from concentrate. The milk foam was literal perfection, best Ive ever had! The interior was cool and had a strong aesthetic which was nice, but I would have liked some comfier chairs. All the seating is either wood or metal, so it is cool but not necessarily cozy. The bathroom was nice and clean. Overall a cool place with excellent service and excellent drinks!
This coffee shop is my new fave in Dallas. They have a great selection of coffees/drinks and the staff are really awesome. Highly recommend! I’m also loving their new syrup selections from a local partner.
Friendly cashier, (maybe not so much the snobby baristas - newsflash you’re NOT in Los Angeles, this is Dallas), great coffee and delicious apple pastries.
Wayward is a wonderful coffee shop owned by wonderful people. The sense of community and welcoming from the baristas and the patrons is incredible. Their coffee is quite good, and they have a good selection of non-dairy options. They have a good location to study at or meet people, and they have made an active effort to reach the community in its time of need. I definitely rank Wayward in my top 5 coffee shops.
If you are a penguin this place is for you. It’s FREEZING cold up in there. I almost had to pour my drip coffee over myself to keep warm in here. Might as well have just wet my pants rather than using the restroom. Make sure you bring your own personal space heater and thermal blankets to reduce your risk of hypothermia. Beautiful space though. Coffee is good.
Good, friendly people for sure! But I just go to coffeeshops to get work done, not much of a coffee guy, and the seats arent comfortable at all, unless u get one of the 4 prime spots. I chose to stand about an hour in to keep working (which, having tables tall enough to stand at to get work done is a plus).Kinda more on the expensive side for someone that isnt a coffee connoisseur (which i am not). But If you like good coffee or specialty drinks to-go, Im sure this is for you!
Im wary of any coffee place that doesnt actually smell like coffee. Its very clean. Its a place to have a conversation with someone that may or may not involve coffee, but the coffee is irrelevant to the ambiance.
Excellent service, the coffee the employee recommended was delicious!!!
Cool little place right on Davis. The Nicaraguan being was quite sweet tasting in a Cortado. Go for it!
Great workspace until they turned the music up way too loud. It is 11am and they are blaring music. With the echo of voices, I can’t take it.
$9.50 for a iced coffee and a apple pastry. The apple pastry only had a smear of apple in it.
Good but not great espresso when I tried it today. No food items were available (the case was empty). I would return if I was in the area again, but I wouldnt go out of my way to return.
Beautiful little shop with a great ambiance. The customer service was excellent with little wait time. And most importantly the coffee was superb. 10/10 would go again.
Very small and just drinks, but the recipes were interesting with things like honey in the hot chocolate. Location is about five minutes away from Bishop Arts district.
Best coffees in town
One of my favorite coffee spots in DTX. Great open space for a work session or catching up with friends. Love the minimalistic decor and atmosphere.Coffee is grand—I love that there is always a guest roaster as it gives me a chance to explore local roasteries. Staff is always super sweet and welcoming, it’ll always be one of my favorite stops.
You should definitely check out this new coffee shop! The inside of the shop is really pretty, the staff is friendly and helpful and the coffee is great! I got the cold brew and it was tasty and refreshing. I’m thankful that this shop is right down the road from my house! We will be there often!
You can tell that every detail was thought out when creating this place, and I really appreciate the quality of the coffee and courteousness of staff. This is definitely not a coffee shop you should pass by.
Best coffee shop in the district! Staff was great and coffee was amazing! Good selection to choose from with good prices. I’ll definitely be going back. Thanks Wayward!!
Recently, we went to Wayward for some coffee after a disappointing first visit when the coffee was a tad cold and the server must’ve been having a lackluster day. Our second visit (probably our last as well), somebody was in line with a political shirt on that was harmless. I heard an employee behind the counter make a derogatory comment to another co-worker. I played it off like nothing was heard. I paid for my drink and left a tip. Not thank you or acknowledgement of any kind. I mentioned this to a friend who said while she was there a cop was in line and somebody behind the counter rolled their eyes and chuckled. Her daughter is an officer in the area, so this hit home for her. She had been there a dozen times or so beforehand, but she stated that she won’t be back. I am all for small businesses, but not those with employees who have issues with others and do a poor job of concealing their disdain for others. I won’t be back. This was a disheartening experience...
You should definitely check this place out! I had an iced mocha and it was absolutely delicious! I love everything about this place and the workers are just the sweetest!
Felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I felt like the people behind the bar were interested beyond what I wanted to drink. I felt cared about and noticed. Taken care of and engaged with. Come here.
I cannot recommend this place enough. I ordered the Flash Brew and was floored. It’s like cold brew but with the flavors of pour over coffee. I’m obsessed. Great atmosphere and you can tell the baristas are treat every order with respect. Thank you, Wayward!
So pumped that this shop is finally opened! I went there today for the first time and got the cold brew. It was one of the better ones I’ve ever had so definitely going to be walking down to Wayward from my house a lot!
Great place - great vibes, and awesome owners. Trevin and Noah know their craft well, and make consistently delicious coffees. Had the 1 in 1 (cortado with a side shot of espresso) and a pour over, both equally delicious and made the perfect start to an early Sunday.Ample amount of seating, and plugs in for your laptop at every table - makes a perfect place to come work for a few hours and hangout. This coffee shop is a standout in the growing Bishop Arts area, and is a must try!
Incredible coffee
Chill spot, great pours, great shots and absolutely fantastic vibes.
Nice coffee shop with chill vibes. Good atmosphere, nice staff, clean environment. 100% recommend.
Very nice to have so close to home. Staff very polite.
I had one of the best cups of coffee there that I have ever had on this side of the pond.
Hands down best third wave shop in Dallas: no frills, all chills, simple menu, perfect coffee!
Also good coffee
Tasty coffee and a nice interior space with free Wi-Fi. Some other coffee shops in the area do not have Wi-Fi…
Colbie is a very handsome barista.
Great service and terrific lattes!
High quality coffee and friendly service :)
Great local coffee place
10/10 recommend
