Exceeded expectations. Great prices with excellent customer service and professional installation. Won’t go anywhere else.The prices are very competitive. You might save a little here and there but I bought my entire system there and qualified for free install. That alone made up for whatever little money I would have saved. Plus they price match anyway.The installers stayed until I was happy with the performance and didn’t rush out like some do.My sales agent was Brad Harper and I was happy with his service. I like that he gave me his personal info that I can contact him anytime.Some things to keep in mind:Get a low profile table if you want to get a 120” screen. A bigger table might block the view when you put a center channel on top of it.If you have ambient light consider a gray contrast screen.
I have to say I have never had a retail experience as great as I did with Starpower. From the moment we requested to speak to someone on the site, Bradley answered almost instantaneously! We told him our availability and he came out the next day. Bradley evaluated our needs and came up with 4 different set ups he thought we would like. He worked with us to get an awesome setup. I implore anyone considering giving this company their business to please reconsider and explore the many, many alternatives. I have a 30+ year history of having home theaters installed in my homes. I’ve used big and small companies, different brands, and this was by far the very worst experience I have ever had with any business. It’s 2020. You can order everything that they do online, have it set up correctly and permanently in less than half the time, and never have to worry about things breaking.It is nothing short of a miracle that this place is still in business. You are 100% better off going to a big box store for both purchase and installation. You’ll get better service, save $1,000s, save hours of anger and disappointment, and no one at Best Buy is going to talk down to you in a condescending tone, and make you feel “cheap” for not wanting to spend $500 on a warranty you don’t need, or $4,000 on a TV that is actually used (but sold as new), and is also half the price elsewhere. They sell the warranties so hard because they know they’re selling faulty goods.PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, TRUST ME. ANY POSITIVE REVIEW OF THIS BUSINESS IS FROM A CLOSE FRIEND OF THIS CORRUPT FAMILY. GOOGLE THEM. READ THE REVIEWS FROM FORMER EMPLOYEES ON GLASSDOOR. IT. IS. A. SCAM.They make their money by fixing things that they screwed up in the first place, and selling warranties you shouldn’t need, if the products they sold were actually new. The company is run by entitled children who have never worked for anything, and had their entire lives handed to them by their parents and grandparents.If you enjoy being scammed, sold used goods as new, having those products routinely break, and then paying $200 per visit to have them routinely temporarily “fixed”, then Starpower is the right choice for you!

Would not recommend them to my worst enemy, and even if they provided FREE appliances and A/V equipment, I still wouldn’t use them. This company is a product of over-privileged children who lack morals and ethics. You’ll overpay for any appliance or A/V equipment, which they will not install properly, then charge you $160/hr to come fix their OWN shoddy work. I’m shocked they are somehow still in business. You’ll get better, more honest service from anywhere else — BestBuy, Nebraska Furniture Mart, even Walmart. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I am building a home theater and needed to buy some seats. After looking at their selections, I asked them to email me a quote. After a day I was sent an email without a quote asking Also did you want to add the Zippered Headrest Pillow for all for chairs or just the 2 middle chairs? (Love seat). I responded thank you and please price in pillows as well. Its now been a week and still no response. I bought a full set of teater seats this morning from a competitor that followed through on everything. Very disappointing Starpower. If you are going to charge premium prices, please provide premium service as well.
When my 60 “ 10 yr old Plasma TV went out suddenly Tuesday night I surfed and found LG 65” 4K OLED fit my needs and space constraints. Starpower, where I bought the last big TV, had them in stock with quick delivery and set up with my existing TV system. Billy Yamin was the knowledgeable salesman on Wednesday . The team who brought the new TV quickly set up up but ran into problems interfacing it with the Harmony Logitech remote. The solution was a new Universal Remote which was installed same day by Dago and Joel, definitely The A-Team Installers. They were the quick experts who assured me all would be set up properly. All is working beautifully now and the picture is so crisp, so clear, so brilliant I’m amazed. It’s Thursday afternoon and I’m back with a full home theater experience. I recommend you give Starpower a try.
Things started off great. They were reasonable in pricing and competitive enough to capture our business. Working with us on delivery was great as we had to wait for our remodel to enter a certain phase of completion before we could take delivery. However, we chose Jenn Air appliances and that has turned out to be a big mistake. Reason 1: The Jenn Air wifi stove/microwave combo unit has had a lot of issues. We were referred by a friend to this store and and he has had the same. Our dream refrigerator turned out to be a lemon. Poor build quality, the freezer door has literally fallen off twice as the screws that hold it are inefficient in size to carry the weight. Reason 2: We have all the warranties that Jenn Air and the store offers. The problem is the vendors that provide the repair service. They are usually at least two weeks out and if there is a part to be order, be prepared, you could be looking at months before you see it. Then another few weeks to reschedule the servicer. Ive visited the store several times and asked for assistance. Only 1 person out of 3 remains employed due to the retail turnover. I even reached out to the Jenn Air rep directly and never heard back. So here we sit with a fridge that cost us thousands of dollars, with no door, no answers, and no resolution in sight.
My husband and I have been wanting to set up a surround sound system in our home for awhile. Our usual place we go to for electronics is Best Buy. We did go to them first for their recommendations and a quote, but just werent happy with the service they were giving us. We dont know much about audio and had this little nagging feeling to check out somewhere else. Thank goodness I remembered Starpowers name during a conversation I had from a friend in the past.I went on their website and decided to write in the chat box where it said replies back instantly. To be honest, I didnt think that would happen... But Bradley proved me wrong! He was so kind and flexible with our needs. From reaching out to him to finalizing set up in our home took less than a week! And every part of the process was quick and easy. Im very impressed with Starpower. Bradley was such an important and vital part of our decision making. We cant thank him enough. The technicians Don and Joel were also great as well.Thanks again!
Beautiful facility, the salesman who helped me was polite, but I got the distinct feeling that youre not catered to as a customer, unless youre a wealthy client.
If youre looking for Ultra high-end appliances and electronics for the home, Starpower is pretty much the only place in town I would trust.When you visit, you should be prepared to deal with commissioned sales people. Not that thats a bad thing, but recognize that these guys are getting paid to help you make your selection. Which means you should also hold them to a much higher standard in terms of how knowledgeable they are about the product theyre offering.The good news is Starpower offers complete install services, and you can bet that anything you buy from them will be perfectly installed and working, so that pretty much makes it worth the money youre paying.
Went in yesterday to look at several projectors. Were only interested in looking at a couple of specific units. Spent 2 hours being harassed by the salesman and the CEO of the company. They tried to up sell us to $3000 chairs, but wait, well knock half of that off and take the tax away. First they wanted $1000 of our money to hold an order that we were not interested in making at this time. Then they backed it down to $500, and finally to $300. Well make you a great deal, just go ahead and give me $300 cash right now. I am sure that money would have been non refundable as well. I didnt think we were going to get out of the store without paying a ransom. Never again. After that completely horrible hard sell tactic, they will not be getting my home theater dollars at all. I will not give money to a company that treats you like that.
We recently upgraded the TVs and audio systems in our extra rooms and once again it was a great experience. Its always worth the extra cost to have the install done by their team. The cabling is always nice and clean and I always know that everything is done correctly.
Finally was able to find a Samsung smart TV is the most unbeatable price with a an extended service plan that just cannot be beat. Starpower is amazing! The expo was great! The CEO came out and spoke to us. Waiting in line for the event and got offered water and coffee. My new TV is amazing!
Ive been to Starpower many times and I keep going back because I always feel important. This is a first-class company that treats everyone like a VIP. I spent over $6,000 on my living room TV because it is the clearest picture Ive ever seen. Great service all around!
I had an excellent experience at Starpower. I bought a television and mount for my living room, and I had their Interior Resources company complete a bathroom renovation for me. I found the in-store experience to be really wonderful. I would recommend Starpower to my friends and family - and I do.

Went to look at purchasing a gas cook top and left with that as well as new stacked ovens AND dish washer.the salesman, Will Shuttles,was wonderful. he was informed and took his time to explain the benefits of our choices vs. others that we may have made. I believe he got me the best of the deals that were available. Being in Dallas and not having much space means i needed a real expert team to help me maximize my pad. These guys were awesome. I gave them my dimensions and they showed me the awesome Sharp Aquos LED 60 inch TV. I highly recommend Starpower to my family and friends.
Great selection and remodeling ideas. Unfortunately got stuck with the new salesperson who didnt know anything and typed about 2 words a minute. Took 45 painful minutes for him to produce a simple 4-item quote.Probably would have gotten a better impression had I been able to switch to one of the people he kept asking questions. Everyone needs to start somewhere, but yall lost a sale due to this experience.
I found out about this company from this store. I was in the area and wanted to see what they were all about. I really like their selection, but the Southlake store was a little more convenient for me to visit. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high quality electronics with the best customer service!

Came Through on Every Level with Beautiful FurnitureI purchased a custom-made, leather sofa and love seat from StarPower in November. Despite some confusion on the completion date, Steven and Tom worked it out perfectly for me.The guys who delivered the furniture, Jesus and Aaron, were extremely careful with it. They got everything inside without a scratch. But what most impressed me was their diligence in addressing a minor issue with the mechanism on one of the recliners. The two men WOULD NOT STOP until they had the unit back in operation. I told them several times they were welcome to come back another time to address the recliner, but they were committed to correcting it on the spot. What a couple of class acts!I remind myself that the test of any business isn’t whether or not something goes wrong. Things go wrong all the time. The question is how a company addresses such issues. Kudos to StarPower for going the extra mile.
I bought a dishwasher, which I paid Kellum to install. The installers were early, nice, courteous, professional, and did a good job.But, I feel that they overcharged me ($75) to add an electrical outlet to the bare wire that previously wired directly into my old washer. They used $10 in hardware, and the job took ten minutes, tops. $25 or $30 would have been a more reasonable price.

This place was very cool. I had never been to a store that specialized in audio technology. I am tired of dealing with young kids who work at best buy or frys that act like they know everything. But if you start getting into really detailed questions about audio signals and such, they will regurgitate what sounds like a poorly written manufacturers manual.Not at this place, no sir.It was evident within ten seconds of talking to Mr. John that he knew his buisness. He started drawing on a note pad as I told him about the dimensions of my room.See if the theatere guys at Best Buy or Frys start drawing on a notepad.They wont.Because most everything they learned comes from corporate videos designed to teach these kids the very basics of the technology they sell.I have worked in the retail and advertising buisness for about 15 years now, and I really appreciate good customer service. Especially when it comes at the hands of people who know what they are talking about, because they take the time to learn about it as I have done.The only con I could leave about this place is that you need to a lot of available cash in order to deal with them. But the two salesmen treated me as they were both gentlemen and scholors. Despite the fact I came in out of the rain wearing walmart shorts and flip flops.Mad props to these gentlemen for not taking one look at me and giving me the old holier- then-thou -looking down their nose sort of treatment you would get walking into a store on Melrose Avenue dressed like a shlub (Which I have also done) :)You usually get what you pay for in the electronics industry, but if you have the money to shop here I would say by all means do so. Even if they charge a premium for their customer service, which they dont seem to do, you might learn a lot by just stopping by and asking questions.I was very sad to have to leave there without buying anything, because this is the type of store experience that just makes me want to throw my money at these guys hahaha. Just the environment and the friendly atmosphere had me wishing I worked there. Despite the fact I am just a writer - as you no doubt have gleaned by reading through this hot mess of a review - and audio technology is just a hobby.But, be sure I will be back to your guys lovely store when I have some more finacial clout.

Very disappointed experience....im a TOLO listener and I was excited cause they have been talking about it on radio about the expo . I stop by 2days before to checkout layout and WOW have more then just tv, anything you want for a media room they have great deals, so against my wife wishes i wanted to buy a tv here and not costco. Showed up on Sat to the N Dallas store and no one helped us out. I says ok maybe they are busy and will get to us, but after seeing them assist other customers nothing.. I walked up and if someone can help us with a samsung, sales rep said he is busy but will get someone. Waited and still no help and guy who said busy was just chatting with cowokers. So wife finally said to go. So know I got to hear how right she is.. dont want to throw out the race card but I am Hispanic (American born and former Marine) own AC company and had to work early in morning so not clean when we went but I feel they judge me without knowing. One thing I know now from my side, never judge a book by its cover... 1-star cause they support station I listen to and 2nd star cause they do have nice stuff
I called Starpower regarding some Klipsch RB-81 II Bookshelf Speakers. They sell for 424.00 each on Amazon.I asked George at Starpower if they could not only match the price, but deduct the sales tax from the price. He did me one better!My out the door price was $794.63, or $397.26 each speaker! Cheaper than Amazon and I could pick them up that day.I was very impressed with Starpowers customer service. Everyone was polite and professional. I will definitely be back when I need more AV equipment.

Basically the worst customer service I have ever experienced in life. I sent in a chat detailing exactly what I wanted done and the equipment i needed. Sales person called me back with no relevant info regarding my chat... like they never even read what I said....told me it would take 19 hours labor at $165 per hour to wall mount 3 tvs and install a 5.1 and a 7.1 surround home theatre in my home.. And get this everything is already pre wired.. so they quoted me $3135 basically for a job that will take 4-5 hours in an extreme circumstance... We didnt even get to talk equipment because I was so off put by the experience in general. Ridiculous.. Whats the point in even telling them exactly what you want??

Amazing options and helpful staff that make you feel welcome. Had questions in regards to new equipment and never felt uncomfortable like some other places make you feel when you arent proficient in their lingo. They also carry SVS equipment, from bookshelf speakers to their newest subwoofer the 4000. Either way its a fantastic place if you are looking for any home related electronics, i.e. fridge, stoves, tvs to full home movie theater that sound amazing.
Love the theater room! These guys stand by their products. I had a tuner go out and the owner cut through all the red tape and got it fixed by the Cowboys 2nd round playoffs!!! Thats what Im talking about!!!!!
Terrible customer service. Sold me equipment that didn’t work. Revolving door of techs who couldn’t fix problems and Starpower tried to charge me for work that should have been under warranty.
We purchased a Viking Dishwasher in 2015 with a five year extended warranty from Kellum (StarPower). The washer stop working in 2018 shortly after the three-year manufactures warranty expired. So I called the Kellums service dept to schedule the repair under the two year extended warranty. After three phone calls we are still waiting for someone to repair the unit...its now been a week and still no one is scheduled.

I dont know where they find their unprofessional technicians that are sent to the homes.Spent additional $2000 on universal remote upgrade to a projector install and have them take 3 months to set it up.Technicians that are sent to that house need professional training on how to talk to customers.Planned to get 3 other installs...plan cancelled.
