Amazing place to look for some original old antique things .The staff is very helpfully and very nice !Love the fact that this place is organized that every section of the store has street name !Love that there is a restaurant inside the store !Simply amazing place !
I came here two months ago. A beauty variety of deals, ranging from furniture, paintings and jewelry. I was looking at a malachite carving of a horse they had and one of the employees ( old white lady with glasses) kept giving me dirty looks and followed me around the shop. I want to come again but I just don’t feel comfortable with that type of predator like atmosphere when I’m looking at items. I am Mexican btw
OMG. This place is FABULOUS. Beautiful high end classy items. If youre into glass, stemware, high quality dinnerware, THIS IS YOUR STORE.I found the employees very friendly and happy to assist. Im not a glamour girl. Im obviously a country girl and no one snubbed me at all.If an item is over $50, they will ask the vendor if theyll come down on the price, and in my case the vendor did accept my offer. I collect uranium glass. This mall has it all over the place. Take your blacklight flashlight because its in abundance. Yellow and green.Beautiful furniture, lovely well conditioned general antiques. But the GLASS AND DINNERWARE there is to die for. Yes, some of the items are a bit higher than should be, but just ask the clerk to call the vendor with your offer. Chances are, if its fair, theyll take it.This beautiful pristine set was ONLY $65! all 3 pieces. Yep. Ill be back again and again.
Keep driving, don’t stop. Not a genuine antique store. Lots of better choices in Dallas with a better selection of antiques. Customers beware. Disingenuous, absolutely has no consideration for the customer experience. Claire the store manager is truly inconsiderate, lacks competence in making decisions and has no skills in customer satisfaction. I will never shop there again.
This was an exquisite antique mall. The selection of items and quality are second to none. From ancient China to Depression Era glass this place is for you. It is also quite large inside; its a great walk. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their vendors stock. Was an absolute joy going through this store.
This was a wonderful place to meander and look at old antique things. When you are done you can enjoy refreshing meal at the tea and sandwich shop. Good food and friendly service with nice pies and cakes.
Wonderful TRUE antiques. VERY POLITE & HELPFUL desk staff. Considering the items I think the dealers have their items reasonably priced. There is a tea room, but Im not sure if it is serving. You should call and check. Quite a large antique mall, plan to spend time trying to view all dealers. Estate jewelry in back of mall is VERY pricey. Youve been advised! However they do jewelry/watch repairs.
Amazing ♥️ visited last weekend from South Florida. Super friendly staff wide variety of all kinds of ANTIQUES. Really really wonderful spot! Thank you for the hospitality and goodies! 1000000% going to stop back in if I am ever back in town! Thank you!!!
If it wasnt for my grandmother having a few booths here I probably would not go. One of the ladies at the check out desk is extremely rude. The tea room is good for lunch though.
My husband and I have always had a wonderful experience and found great items. Today that changed quite drastically after our visit today on the family side with a 1 year old. We are more than understanding of the bag policy but to check-in our diaper bag was a bit much. And when we needed our stuff for our son, we had to wait in line to retrieve our items and give back the bag until we left the mall. Definitely not a place I would list as family friendly and as a family, I do not think we will return anytime soon.
Expensive Ive never seen prices so high. Full retail + 20% every vender in here . Usually theres a couple well priced booths not here.nothing I havent seen in every other antique shop. No need to ever return
HUGE and beautiful store!! Definitely would recommend and staff is friendly! Affordable prices!
Beautiful shop with an expansive selection of items ranging from jewelry to furniture, decor, clothing, handmade items, and more. Well worth spending an hour or two exploring. There are some truly unique and unparalleled items, however be careful as Ive found some reproductions here and there marked up over 4x their original price. Overall, definitely worth a visit, but expect to pay quite a bit for the items with which you fall in love.
Old male, long hair worker is extremely rude. Wont come back ever.
Loved it just didnt have enough time to completely enjoy
Forestwood Antique Mall had alot of beautiful antiques. Therealso is a nice little restaurant in the back. food was delicious.
Went with my boyfriend just recently, sadly we didnt have time to see the entire store but we had a lovely time. Lots of gorgeous antique decor as well as jewelry, clothes, housewares, and geological specimens. The employees were very polite and helpful.
Its a great place for a stroll.
Always a great selection to browse!
Amazing finds and great prices. I go on Sunday to take my time. If you have allergies please take your meds...it is an antique shop...so expect some dust l. Its a big building with alot of character. The tea room just opened back up so get some brunch too! Great treasure to find some treasures!
Some of the most beautiful people in DFW have booths there. The Atmosphere and the Antiques are stellar. And the Tea Room is a must. The menu is diverse, delicious and fresh. I truly appreciate and cherish the memories Ive made at Forestwood Antique Mall. You really should stop by. Say hello for me! I believe theyre open til 7pm except on Sunday(6pm). My husband had his vintage Hamilton watch repaired with the Jeweler. They recreated the bubble/faceted glass face to perfection! I have heard nothing but great things about the frame boutique so I took a few pieces in last night. I drive all the way from Ft. Worth to do business with these good people. Its one of my favorite places to be...period. When I travel or life gets hectic....I miss my ladies of Forestwood. Its more than just a place to shop. Its an amazing opportunity to learn and share. You dont have to spend loads of money to shop there. If you look, Theres something for every budget. You just have to be realistic in your expectations. If you attempt to compare Forestwood Antique Mall to your favorite flea market....youll potentially be disappointed. Enjoy!
Great food. Fast service. No mask required!
Very nice place.to shop, picked up some Texas memorabilia while I was there.
Very enjoyable place.
Great selection of WAY over priced stuff.
Good stuff. Theres a lot to look at but a bit pricey.
Good location, overall a nice store. It was very hot inside and being forced to wear a mask in there didnt help one bit. There is a LOT of glass items in here and I just dont like the dishes and vases and stuff. If you like that stuff this is the place for you. We found a few items we purchased.
Nice lunch diner inside
A very nice Antique Mall full of beautiful antiques very good prices very friendly staff theres definitely something in here for everybody
If you LOVE antiques, this is the place to visit! May sure that you have PLENTY time on your hands. Theres a lot to see!
Robert, the watch repair expert, was very attentive to my needs.
Great place and shop and have lunch.
Tons of antique furniture, jewelry and decoration, some clothing as well and they have a vintage wristwatch store. They offer restoration on many items.
My dad and I have been visiting this place for years. We love it! Huge selection, friendly people, and quality antiques.
An antique lovers stop where high quality antiques of various nature can be found. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I want to say something bad so you want go there.I wanted so many items.Just absoulutly amazin.
A very nice antique store. They have a much higher standard for quality of merchandise and what the vendors sell. You wont find any reproductions (for the most part) or tchotchkies. IF you are looking for vintage or antique furniture, jewelry, dinnerware, vintage toys, books, jewelry, etc.. its your place. You will pay a higher price, since they are selling better goods. The staff feels very cold and disinterested in helping as a rule, but the individual shop owners are very nice and helpful when they are around.
Love to walk through the store has so many things to select from to purchase.
Nice to see all the things from my childhood again. Great big store. Lots to look at. Want to spend all my money here.😁
We are antique buffs and enjoy going to the many antiques malls in the Dallas area, but we love this one the most. A lot of the malls have a lot of junk as opposed to real antiques. This mall does not have much junk, and the dealers here carry some great stuff. IE LOts of Waterford here, not much pressed glass imitations.
Antique malls seem to be a vanishing breed, glad this one is still open.
Large space, lots of variety.
A great place to spend a few hours and take a trip down Memory Lane. I never pay sticker price - my counter offer is usually accepted. Beautiful earrings $10. An old cast iron gauge (going to be part of a lamp Im making) $25. Great buys!
Food is good. My last order was to go. They failed to put cutlery and napkins in bagI called back and told him, said you have to ASK for them. I guess common sense isnt common anymore. How sad.
Lots of stuff to see. Some items seem to be a bit over priced. Overall love this location.
Great antiques and friendly service! Food smells good too, but I didnt get to try it because I bought old books instead. :)
This store is very large! I spend about 2 hours looking at all the items at this store. There is a lot of beautiful furniture, and plenty of glassware and paintings. There is plenty for everyone, and some very interesting items for all sorts of collectors. Dealers here will not negotiate on items less than $50.
Village Goldsmith in the back of the mall deals in jewelry. They are kind, fair and genuinely interested in their customers. They have some great stories too! The mall itself it amazing! Lots of items for ANY collector. Great set up; and nostalgia and treasures around every corner. You cant see it all in one trip. High quality, quantity and service will make you want to come back over and over!
What a great venue! If left to my own devices I could spend hours here! The lions share of products is a little more pricey than what I would normally consider for retail purchases, but I love supporting small business owners and local artisans, so I can be convinced. And every now and then youll come across that one, unique item youve been searching for that is nowhere else to be found and just have to have! :)
A nice antique store with lower end and higher end antiques. Something for everyone here. They have a nice jewelry area and a nice clock area. You can also find clothes, rugs, and paintings.
Staff is rude, but the selection is ok. Pricey.
Such a whimsical find in the middle of town
Cool and pretty antiques for good prices. Granted, some things were several hundred or thousand dollars, but good prices for what it is.
Its the largest antique mall in Dallas. The tea room is delicious and I love taking my kids here. The best antique jewelry is at the back of the mall its called Village Goldsmith Antiques. I always loved history and you can find items from 1800s and older. Just a very cool experience.
Almost do not want to share this one! It is absolutely AWESOME.... has really good merchandise and at an extremely fair and readonable price. Beats the Olano antique mall hands down.... on selection, quality, uniqueness, and pricesThis isnt typical overpriced garage sale fodder.
Lots of great antiques! Booths are not overstocked and easy to browse through.
My favorite antique shop! I always find great things here! The people that work here are very friendly and helpful!
Awesome place friendly people
Super cool place!!! Mind boggling! Excellent pricing.. Deals to be had here!!! A little intimidating... but only because there is a lot of stuff.. staff is available.. friendly once you engage them.
A true antique mall, no junk. A large mall. Plan on spending a couple of hours shopping . They have been in business for 25 years.
If its old you can find it there
Kind owners and the booths have great quality items. It seems like most things err on the pricey side.
This is a wonderful place lots of beautiful things to look at. The cafe is very nice good food . The quiche was excellent and the pies are delicious.
Not the friendliest staff. It’s probably because my Aunt and I looked Mexican. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in. What a bummer, I would of bought some stuff.
I found a time machine in one of the booths - no joke. I mean, it wasn’t working or else I wouldn’t be here. It was in decent condition and if I was into Quantum Physics, I would have totally bought it. OR MAYBE I did buy it at one point, but I accidentally messed up a bunch of stuff in time and I ended up having to go back to some point in my childhood and convince myself NOT to take interest in Quantum Theories so now Im an Arts Major....
I give the size, atmosphere and quality a five star rating. As far as pricing in the furniture department goes I give it 3 stars. Over priced considering you go to an auction house and pay 1/5th of the price. There is a booth if you go all the way to the right down to the end that has great collectibles in antique sports memorabilia and primitive items. I highly recommend anyone to check this place out even if you dont plan to buy any furniture its still great to see what they have to offer and you might even find a small item to add to your collection.
I really enjoyed my visit there. Ran into one of the booth operators and thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. He was willing to work with us on some murano glass.
Dizzying array of good quality antiques, small but satisfactory tea room. Didnt have much for my interest (lighters) but many good old toys especially space and rayguns.
One of the better antique malls still left surviving in Dallas. Great selection of booths and a nice cafe.
Lots to see! Good amount of furniture, jewelry, glassware. Quite pricey, but most vendors will negotiate. Affordable restaurant inside.
Great inventory, an incredible array of good merchandise here. Prices are a bit optimistic though and beware of the repro tramp art, antique maps and furniture. Good place to kill a couple of hours during a hot afternoon...
Tea room was pretty good. Great service. Simple food. Enjoyed looking around.
Great selection. Unfortunately, the vast majority of items are double/triple the price of actual worth. Great place to browse, but probably not a great place to buy.
Wonderful experience very nice place !!
Really nice place, brought back a lot of great memories and we picked up several goodies as well.😁
Walked in at 630pm and took a path down the middle of the store found one older book no price tag but i wanted it and went to check out (& see how much it was) then the man said he didnt know the price and he took my name and number said they would call me back because the man who was selling it was not very good at pricing his items. I think a quick 2 minute call to him would have been nice, it was still 20 minutes to closing time. We were okay though well understood, my boyfriend had two or three questions and the man clearly rushed through to get us out of there, bothered, he was counting his cash in the drawer there was two others that could have helped us out but they were talking to one another...so, we left about 6:45-6:50 pm and as soon as we walked out the door one of the workers locked the bolt before i could get my feet on the curb. Nothing special about this place i guess nothing out of the ordinary things but the first impression is a lasting one and these folks just had no personality or concerns related to good customer service. I dont like it when someone working with customers at a storefront is non friendly or bothered. Basic skills missing is why I dont recommend doing business here, i mean I would Count your money after the store is closed or see to it that one of the other employees working the floor would assist in things, and follow your store hours or adjust them as needed.
Very nice. Large antique mall with a tea room in the back. Some items reasonably priced, others over priced, so typical in that sense. You name it, they probably have it. Even has a clock repair shop and a jewelry and watch shop that also repairs items. Will br back with my Grandfathers pocket watch.
Awesome antiques, variety of prices. Could spend hours there.
Nice place to walk an shop observe quite modern vintage nice climate control
Everything in here was so cool! If I ever won the lottery and had a home that needed awesome huge fossils, exotic furnitures, and crazy cool persian rugs, this is going to be the first place I shop from!
Nice place but way over priced, hard to find anything that is reasonably priced and the inventory sits year after year.
Great antique mall with helpful staff. I found a really good jewelry box for 25$. It has a wonderful selection of antiques although some of the prices are a bit high.
Fun place to look for some rusty gold
This is a great place to buy hard to find items and true collectables
Lots of lovely antiques and vintage pieces. There is a jeweler, a framer and a wonderful Tearoom inside.
Great place to get your antiquing fix -- lots of stuff everywhere / large facility
Jeweler did a great job for me. Antique mall is very good and has good variety.
The tea room is not in compliance with health inspections and engage in dirty practices like line cooks eating while serving. Eat at your own risk.
Wonderful place for shopping antiques and primitives!
Pricey but some amazing items
I got so much stuff here. Really helpful people. Great beautiful stuff.
This place has got some high quality pieces. A fun place to browse.
Large assortment of goods. Great staff having the little cafe in the back is a great asset, great experience, a good time every visit
Wow! Awesome selection of genuine antiques, well priced. No stalker salespeople either.
Lots to choose from employees helpful! Prices better than some places.
They have some amazing finds, mist out of my price range, but still a wonderful place to browse.
