As a contractor in business owner, I don’t normally deal with steel. Most of my projects do not require me to purchase steel. So when it comes to buying steel, I have no idea what I’m talking about. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful, we were able to find exactly what I needed. They had it in stock and didn’t charge me for cutting it. Price was more than reasonable!

This place seems to be going down hill. The 2 gentleman at desk in the back are rude and short. I was told I needed to talk to the other guy when he got off the phone. So I waited then he told me that I need to talk to the first guy but he was on the phone. I bought many things from here over the years without any issue. Today was a different story. I placed my order before 9 and went to pickup after 10. Said I was 5th in line and it would be noon. I was told to come back then. I came back 1140 and checked on the order was told I was 15th in line and didn’t know when they would get to mine. Online orders go after in store orders. I was told I just needed to wait my turn in line, but that seems to keep getting pushed back.

The manager is rude, arrogant and the most unhelpful person. I special ordered an item and explained to him my situation on how his people ordered the wrong item. He spoke over me not wanting to hear anything I had to say and continued to question my situation as if I was lying.Nonetheless he had no care to assist or listen.As a business purchasing from another business, I care not to come back here.

Went to pickup steel today. Arrived at 3:20pm. Website says closed at 4:00 pm. Upon arrival the manager yells out rudely were closing at 3:30 today, no cutting of steel and you have to pay with cash! and walks out the door.So, OK I needed the steel. Ordered the material I needed. Their costs is twice as much as competitive stores. You would think paying that much to get better service.As I was loading my material, the same manager who obviously wants to leave early for the day yells at me to move my truck so he can leave.Obviously wont be back and recommend the store get a new manager.This was Friday, Jan 29th.

There is an unfortunate pattern that I am seeing with this place. I had the same problem with the short tempered manager/owner about 6 months ago. The same problem that many other customers have noted below. I have not been back since. I would suggest this company post that they are under new management on their website. I will not return until this situation is made right. I will continue to relay to my fellow fabricators to stay away also.

These guys awesome! Had exactly what I needed, cut it perfectly and practically gave it to me! These gentlemen know how to get all my metal business!

Placed an order with them and was not notified about special pick-up hours. Sent over a hot shot driver to pick-up in the morning and was turned away. Only at that time were we notified about special pick-up hours. I called the office and was met with rude and poor customer service by Lin. Needless to say we canceled the order and bought from their competitor down the way that was gracious for our business and had order ready in 10 minutes. Rest assured they will no longer get any of my business due to poor customer service and I will be sure to spread the word to other members in our industry to steer clear of them.

Be careful when you place your order because they dont tell you that theres specific times to pick up your online order. Got all the way to the building just to be told I can only pick up my order between 2-4pm. Too short of a window to have for your customers. Dont like the way their doing business during Corona. Couldve just put the metal on the dock and let me take it home.

My neighbor mentioned Metals4UOnline to me when I mentioned the high metal piece prices at the home improvement stores. Their website is very easy to use and I picked it up from the local warehouse and even found a couple of additional pieces I wanted with great customer service!Im already planning my next order :)

Great source for hard to find metals and sells exactly the amount you need. Front floor has variety of cut-offs from other sales that make for those hard to find small project needs. Great customer service, never had a single issue for years weve bought metal here.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I like the fact that they will cut metal down to fit in my truck or fit my budget. They sell small scraps of a variety of metals, so I can frequently find what Im needing without buying a whole sheet or section of material. Great service at every location Ive ever visited!
