My screen cracked and Verizon sent me here for it to be repaired. I was told it was by walk in, that I only had 10 days to get there, that it was open until 7pm, and that I needed to allow 2 hours for the repair. I drove 30 minutes to get here, arrived at 2:45pm, and find a sign on the door that they are going to close at 5pm instead. I went inside, and the customer standing there tells me the guy is in the back. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Nobody ever came out. Not to say hey I am busy I will get to you when I can or to even acknowledge my presence. Nothing. And now its approaching the 2 hour time needed to fix it so I knew if anyone surfaced I would get the excuse that bow there wasnt enough time before they closed. I was not about to waste any more of my Saturday standing there in hopes that someone would materialize from the back of the store. So I called Verizon and changed the repair plan. If your phone breaks, I recommend you go elsewhere. This place clearly has awful customer service.

Open times are not updated with Verizon. Had an appointment scheduled for 5:00PM, and when I got there they were closed. No signage on the door saying the times were different that the times on the door. No contact from uBreakiFix about the appointment being made at closing time. Checked Google and time was updated on search, but not with Verizons systems. Another appointment was made the next morning by a Verizon manager for 2PM. When I arrived there was a sign posted that they were out for lunch. No contact made on their part to inform of this lunch break. The employee didnt apologize for the inconvenience at all, and was not very helpful or seem knowledgeable about the issue that I was having with my phone; screen washout / fadeout.

The website allowed me to make an appointment, but when I got there I was informed they currently are not doing Samsung repairs. An unnecessary and completely avoidable waste of time.The guy behind the counter was very nice and helpful, directing me to an appropriate repair center, but too late to do me any good.As a humorous epilogue, I got an email noting that I missed my appointment and asking if I would I like to reschedule.

Just dont. Dont even consider.Went to have a computer fixed, and they talked me into the insurance their company offers. And after working on it for 6 months, they refused to live up to the insurance agreement, offered pennies on the value (less than the premiums), or a replacement at least 4 years older than my newish one . Then they kept my computer including data, after saying that it would be returned.I lost money, I lost pictures of my young kids, and I lost important files.Calling the company a fraud would be too generous.

Im echoing what others have said in their reviews in the past week: this location does not follow their hours of operation. I showed up yesterday at 4:10pm, after trying to call all day unsuccessfully, and there was a sign on the door saying that they were out for lunch until 4:45. Came again today, its 11:05 and the doors are locked. No sign, nothing. It should have opened at 10:00.I am infuriated for the time wasted driving back and forth, twice. Worst customer service ever.Note that other reviewers have said that they had appointments and it was not honored!Find another location if you need service or you will most likely end up wasting your time.Update: I tried calling customer service and they were useless. They are aware that the location is currently closed but apparently they cannot update the website to let customers know so people continue to schedule appointments... At least six people showed up in the 1 hour I waited in front of the store. Including one person who had received a call yesterday to come pick up his device and had driven 1 hour only to come to a closed location.

They didnt have the Android part I needed at the first location I went to, so the employee kindly called over to another location and had them hold one for me.It was a multi-hour drive but anyone whos had to go without their phone for more than a few days knows the pain so its worth it to get it fixed correctly and right away.I couldnt remember the name of this company when I first went looking for it so Im leaving a review so I can ALWAYS find them!

I called on Thursday last week and they said I could get my phone fixed on the Saturday and that it would take 2 hours. I turned up on the Saturday and they said they hadnt ordered the parts yet, but I could leave my phone there and it would be fixed by today. The device tracker hasnt changed since I dropped off the phone and I have called about a dozen times today to ask if it is ready, but they cut the call every time before anyone picks up. I tried calling the Customer support but was on hold for over an hour. Overall, very frustrating and I still dont have my phone back.Update: it has been a month now. Still not fixed and no one picks up the phone no matter what time or day I call

Aidan was professional and responsive although he was the only staff worked at the store working under pressure. I dropped of my phone in the morning and Aidan was able to fix my phone which had an issue with reading SIM Card when I pick up my phone in the evening. I wish there is an additional staff at this location to improve on service lead time.uBreakiFix Cupertino closes on Monday.

I had an appointment at the Cupertino location today and when I showed up, the store was not open. Door locked, lights off. It was 11- 11:15am. They are supposed to open at 10. I had my appointment booked for over a week beforehand, after a horrible experience at the Santa Clara location (that time I had an appointment and the only worker there kept helping walk ins etc ahead of me, and after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes to be helped, I had to leave). There were 4 other customers who also showed up with appointments today. Store is still there but no one opened shop today I guess. This is massively frustrating because I have a pixel and ubreak is the Google service. Boo!! Seriously considering getting an iPhone now so I can have service >:(

The last Sunday my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra 5G was done the software up grade after this the camera is not working so UbreakiFix can not fix this problem so maybe Samsung needs to give full support to the Samsung Service centers.

Staff were polite, and answered questions I had about the repair. However, the repair (a screen replacement) was done incorrectly, and the screen was not correctly sealed back onto the phone, leaving a noticeable gap between the screen and the rest of the phone.

JC was pleasant and made my time at this location easy. He had really exceptional customer service skills and they fixed my employees cracked screen in under 2hrs. This location is small, so there is a limit of two customers in the store due to the current covid restrictions.Ive been to another uBreakiFix location in the past and had a really horrible experience where I had to chase down when my device would be ready for several days, but here, I received a text message letting me know when my device was ready for pick up which was really helpful.

Expect to wait outside for a while. The reason the line takes a while is because they get alot of upset customers. Went to get the back cover of the note 20 ultra fixed. Got the job done in two hours, however the experienced a software issue and needed to call samsung. They fixed that issue as well. 50/50 shot with this place. Overall ok experience.

Worst service Ive had anywhere. This place gives worse service than the government, and Ive spent hours on the phone trying to get through to the edd. That frustration is nothing compared to dealing with ubreakifix Cupertino. At least at the end of an edd call, I know something is happening with my account.4.26.21: I brought my chromebook device in Monday because asurion told me to bring it to a ubreakifix store, and If they couldnt determine the issue or fix it, they would ship it out overnight asap to asurion. Asurion processing took so long (3+ weeks, multiple model number submissions and I had to threaten with a bbb complaint and fraudulent charge complaints) I had already brought the device to be checked here, and they knew they couldnt fix it so they said they would ship it out.Excuse here and there and ubreakifix said the printer is suddenly broken. They said itll get fixed and theyll print it another way and ship it out that evening/the next day4.29.21: Thursday I call ubreakifix Cupertino because I find out I have a balance they are charging me (for what!!!??? My insurance claim told me to bring it here for them to SHIP, not to do anything else with) I find out they havent shipped my device and it had just been sitting in the store all week waiting for nothing. The employee on the phone seemed extremely apologetic (which they should be, its not my phone it didnt get shipped it is completely theirs) and says hell print out the label tonight and ship it out tomorrow, and inform me when it happens (I had to ask him to let me know because it seemed like he wouldnt) I am so furious at their lack of accountability as they are costing me time and money.4.30.21: Friday I call in at 4pm because I got no sort of notification whatsoever. Again, the employee seems extremely apologetic explaining to me that their printer just broke (the same thing a separate employee told me Monday, so they are lying, or they are holding my property while I am getting charged insurance premiums) and that he printed it the day before but just hasnt shipped it yet. If its 4pm, when the heck do you plan on shipping my device.I could have shipped this and had it to asurion by Tuesday.If I dont get any sort of update by today, I will be forced to file formal complaints against this location, as they charged me for service, are holding my personal property, and costing me monthly insurance premiums.Will update after 4.30.21

21 days ago I arrived at the store with my laptop in order to repair the inside of the computer for a taste of the battery on the face A simple repair, the guy I first received after 5 minutes took a computer from me and his charger gave me a note to register my phone and told me to check it, I asked her Will it take time? He said they would contact me as soon as they got over the problem so far okay, only no one spoke to me and did not contact me for three days !! Because I live close I decided to go to the store and find out whats going on, I went in. I got another guy from the first time I said hello. And Im talking about holding a computer !! It really upset me and I asked to speak to the manager !! Who explained to me that they were a bit busy and that he would take care of me and update me later, put the details zali in the system and I went home, no one called me for 12 days from the moment I left the store for the second time, I called the store several times during these 12 days. Find the part I need in the US but only in Canada and it will take 10 days until it arrives and it will also cost more expensive claiming they do not know what the model number of my computer is because it is a bit faded so I got screwed and have to pay a creator and wait longer !! I asked if he got them the model, it came out cheaper and Natiron will be faster. But surprise they ha ha or email at all !!!! This is the first time in my life that I took a computer for repair and did not think moving such a story !!! The service was right on the face of it, it does not seem to me that there is anyone out there who runs a spot location can not be that such a thing calls !! The only thing that came out of this sipper is that my computer came back to me and it works and they made me a $ 10 discount on the repair, in the end there is no chance that I will return to this place again it was an exhausting and sucking experience !!!

Brought in a phone that wouldnt accept a charge. Aubrey noticed immediately that the cable didnt seat properly, and then began carefully removing years of built up lint. 10 minutes later, the phone charges perfectly. Long, but maybe helpful to other iPhone owners considering UBreakIFix for a screen repair:I first brought my iPhone XR in on August 24, 2020 for a screen repair. The repair was finished in less than 1 hour (less than the time I was quoted), and the staff was friendly. However, when I got home, I found that my Face ID was no longer working (it was before the repair). I tried restarting my phone, tried setting up a new face profile, and my device would not even recognize that my face was present. I called UBreakiFix, and they told me to bring the device back in as it was under warranty and they would run diagnostics. When I came back in, they said the diagnostic would take overnight so I would have to come back another day. Fast forward to today, it is now October. I have been back into the shop at least 12 times for more diagnostics, Face ID repairs, and whatnot, and my Face ID is still not working. Multiple parts have been ordered and although I am consistently assured that when the part arrives I will be contacted, twice now after waiting 3 weeks from the promised order date, I have called in to check on the status only to be told the device has already been in the store waiting for me. Once, after receiving an email that a part had arrived, I went in for the repair and was then told that the part could not be located so had to be ordered again. I feel like there is no transparency, false promises, and placating responses that fail to address the true issue. I have been told multiple times that the device was fixed, only to take it outside to try Face ID and have it continue to not function. I have been told that a replacement phone would be ordered for me, but instead each time I come in they want to try one more thing. I have been told twice that a manager would call me, and instead each time I called back days later to check on the status of that supposed call, the manager seemed to be using the tech as a middle man to tell me something instead of talking to me directly. I watched a tech google why Face ID wouldnt work after screen replacement. I have been told that I need to update my phone to fix it, when in fact Face ID had been working perfectly fine on the current operating system it has been on. I am frustrated and hope to spare someone else the ridiculous back-and-forth I have experienced. I believe that the workers I have interacted with are kind and are trying their best, but some honesty and straightforwardness are apparently too much to ask.

Came in to fix a cracked screen on my phone (referred by Assurion Insurance). They needed it overnight and told me it would be ready by noon the next day. Asked if I needed to call ahead of time to be sure - said no need, assured it would be ready. Show up at noon the next day... surprise, not ready. Guy tells me they *hope* to have it ready by end of day but wouldnt guarantee it. I asked if I could just have the phone back but of course its in pieces now, so no luck with that option. Wouldnt be the end of the world except its a 1.5 hour roundtrip drive for me. This place would do well to set better expectations and/or find a way to communicate with customers when they cant deliver.

Bad service. Originally, I had a part of the touchscreen not working. I was told my phone was covered on Googles Pixel 3a warranty, so I could get it repaired for free. An hour later, they contact me saying that my phone was out of warranty and that I had to spend $130 on a screen repair because of some scratches on the screen.Two days later, I called them to ask them why my phone wasnt finished yet, since they estimated on day. Apparently, they sent me a text to come pick it up. Except they had my phone with them, so how in the world was I supposed to get that text? They had been contacting me through email, and all of a sudden they started to use texting knowing that I wouldnt be able to receive it.When I picked my phone up, there was adhesive coming out of the side of the screen. It was fixed, but it was an extremely sloppy job. There were also dirty marks on my phone that werent there before. Wouldnt recommend this to anyone.

The Fremont store couldnt help me. Three times. The second they tried to scam me into paying for a backplate on my Note 8.These guys not only for me in on a Sunday but didnt make me pay for anything but the needed part. Seemed unconcerned about what was an extremely superficial scratch.Because it was.I didnt feel like they were any level of condescending, like Fremont, and very knowledgeable outside of just phones as well.Let me emphasize that I drove all the way from Oakland to skip over Fremont for this location.Would skip Fremont to go here again.

I went to the Cupertino UBreakiFix today because my iPhone power cable wouldn’t make a connection and charge my phone. JC accurately diagnosed the problem, fixed it and I was out of there in five minutes flat. There was lint in the power connector. And JC was nice enough to not even charge me for the service. I took an appointment for a Google Pixel battery replacement. Estimated charges on the website were 79$+tax and a 30 minutes repair time. Then I drove to the store and the employee told me it would be 100$+tax and that the repair would take 2h (there was nothing else wrong with the phone except for the short battery life). I asked to be charged estimated price on the website and the employee refused, claiming the website was out of date and that he couldnt do anything. I decided not to have my phone repaired there to avoid contributing to this scammy way of doing business.

I called them before visiting asking if they had the parts for replacing the screen on the Pixel 4 XL. They told me they had the parts and I could have the phone back in 4 hours.When I got there in person however, they said that they had the display but not the other parts needed for the repair. Basically my visit to the store was wasted. The only nice thing was that they called a different store a few miles away (Santa Clara) and confirmed that that store had the required parts.Suggestion for the store - please do your due diligence before making someone waste a couple hours of their life making the trip and waiting around while you look for parts ?

Made an appointment here several days early because they are a Google authorized repair shop. Drive in on my appointment date, about 60-90 minutes out of my way, and they dont have the parts for my repair because they sold them to someone else. What the heck is the point of reserving an appointment if youre not going to have the parts?Edit: Apparently from their reply, they did have my part, but sent us away for no reason. I cant see how this is supposed to be better. As I said, this was over an hour out of my way. I can go an hour out of my way in a different direction to get this done instead, and I will do so simply to avoid a place with such bad service.

Went here and finally got my phone fixed, after being told by Google there was nothing wrong. My phone had a defect from the moment I got it, where the panel lit up unevenly, but it was only visible on the lowest brightness in a dark room. I sent it back to Google who sent right back to me with no repair because they couldn’t see the issue. So I took it to this repair shop and showed the technicians the problem. They were able to replicate the problem and fix my phone for free through Google’s warranty! Very satisfied with the result!

Over a month and still haven’t fixed my laptop.Initially they returned the laptop in 2 weeks(I had to call multiple times to know the status- no proactive communication) saying its fixed.When I wanted to test it at the center the guy mentioned they don’t have a charger for it - not sure how they are fixing laptops without even having a charger. The guy literally sent me away without letting me test the laptop before I could take it back. Passive aggressive staff. It is basic that when you fix something so show the customer that it is working.Next, as expected the laptop was not yet fixed so I drove the next day with charger to show them the issue. That was July 11th. I still don’t have a fully functional laptop after multiple calls. The attitude is very casual and they don’t care about customer, they take their own sweet time and show no urgency whatsoever in ordering the parts, informing the customer.This has been time consuming and stressful experience. I will update once I receive the laptop. hopefully soon.

I rarely post reviews but cant hold back this one...kinda long but maybe worth a read...- On 5/1, went to their Cupertino branch, to replace the camera lens on the back of my iPhone (it was cracked & was my bad)- Was quoted $69.99, with a $39 advance to order the part (thought that wasnt too bad)- A few days later, recieved a call that part received, so went to drop off the phone (Yay, finally)- This time was told that the front glass panel needed replacement as there was a crack and it would cost an additional $119.99 (Let me tell you that the camera lens replacement on the back of the phone has no relevance to the front of the phone as it is an external switch of the part). Wasnt too happy about it and knowing it was a sales-push from their end and definately not necessary to change the front glass panel, I still let it pass and agreed!- Picked up my phone on 5/15 and looked like new (thought it was worth spending $162.64 (taxes included)- Now, everytime I took a photo I noticed a small speck on each photo, so back again today! They saw the problem & mentioned that while the technician was changing the lens a small speck of dust may have been left behind. (thought that was an honest admittance of their mistake)- I pointed to a small crack on the lens which could only be seen thru a magnifying glass. That was it!! A real good reason not to replace the camera lens and that I was asked to pay for it again!!!Loved their name and the concept but now, not too sure about their integrity and straight forwardness.Not going back for sure:(

Made an appointment to fix the screen on my Galaxy S9+, it didnt matter - took my phone in order of everyones arrival. Should have taken 2 hours but was given 3.5 hours as my time line. The worker was barely able to speak loud enough to be heard over his own labored thinking.5.5 hours later, my time phone, added time as the technician incompetently fixed a different S9+ before mine, was ready. Fix was fine but customer service was sub par... I might drive the distance to avoid this shop again.

Quick same day repair. Not the cheapest Ive seen but the service is great and the repair is great. Ive taken my Pixel XL and Pixel 3 here and both times the devices came back like new in less than 2 hours. You get a discount if you buy a case there with a repair too, not a bad deal if you pick the right case.

Third repair here, all Google phones. repairs have been solid but the wait time when you have an appointment is out of control. today it is well over an hour. that is just to drop off your phone. company needs to fix this and offer few slots or something. will be trying another service.

Came in to get a new LCD and Screen and service here was very friendly and knowledgeable. My repair only took about 20 minutes and was very quick and for a good price! Would definitely come back in the future !
